My story was real.

You never heard about Dead Red?

Dead Red?

Dead Red was a miner
around these parts.

They called him Red
because he had flaming red hair.

One Halloween, he was buried
alive in this very mine.

What happened?

Some kids were playing
in the mine, and it caved in.

So now, every year at Halloween,

Dead Red comes out of the grave.

And he goes from mining town
to mining town,

looking for revenge.

Every Halloween,
he kills a 10-year-old boy.

A 10-year-old?
Why?

Those kids who were playing
in the mine were 10.

So on Halloween,
Dead Red hunts himself down

a 10-year-old and drags him
back to the graveyard

and straight down to Hell.

Never heard about any kids
getting killed around here.

Remember Tommy Ralston?

He moved away.

That's what they told you.

But that was Halloween
three years ago.

Dead Red got him.

Last year,
he got a boy in Soda Springs.

Year before that, Manitou.

All 10 years old.

was terrorizing the court,

killing knights left and right.

And Beowulf vanquished him
with his mighty sword.

Who's that?

That's Saint George fighting
a dragon.

or giant could stand

before the knight's
bright sword."

He was the only one that wasn't
afraid of the dragon.

So he was the only one

that could fight him
and kill him.

Look at that sword.

Oh, that's King Arthur

and his magical sword,
Excalibur.

It looks just like Excalibur.

Well, that looks
just about right, Sir Brian.

It needs to shine more,
don't you think?

some cotton seed oil
