- My name is Josh Fourman
and these are my brothers,

Rocky and Shaun.

As children, the three
of us experienced

a very dark and evil haunting.

We have now set off on a
journey across the country

helping families trapped
in their own nightmare,

filming and documenting
some of the most shocking

paranormal footage.

- [Man] Do it again
for us right now.

(crashing)

- [Man] Go, go, go.

- That door slammed wide open.

You know who we are.

You know what we do.

It all ends tonight.
- Ooh.

- Manifest yourself
so we can see you.

(woman screaming)

- [Josh] This is
paranormal nightmare.

My brothers and I were
recently contacted

by a family in Union City, Ohio.

The family believes something
evil is haunting their home.

They are now convinced
whatever's inside their house

has taken a turn for the worst

and become extremely dangerous.

- We've owned this
house since 2015.

He was working
thirds so it would

do all kinds of weird
strange things at night.

The dogs would lay at the
foot of the bed and growl.

And I was in the
tanning bed one night

and I couldn't get out.

It was like somebody was
pushing down on the tanning bed.

And that scared me.

One night, I was sitting in
here watching TV with the dogs

after he left for work.

Heard a noise so I got up
and I walked in the bedroom.

So they followed me and
they literally dead stopped

at the doorway.

And that's when I
seen all the knives

laying across the stove.

Scared me to death.

- Something literally
laid all the knives.

- Yeah, all the knives
across the stove.

They were all
meticulously laid out

where all the blades were facing
the exactly same direction.

All the handles were
the same direction.

Everything, everything
was laid out.

All of 'em across the stove.

- So that's twice,

I mean with the tanning
bed and the knives,

that something's either
giving you a sign that

something bad's gonna happen,

or it's a warning.

You get the sense that
whatever's in this house

is going to hurt you guys.

- It wants to hurt her not me.

- It wants to hurt me.

I don't know why.

Had the doll in the bedroom
turned around backwards.

The bathroom door
will open and close.

You know, there's things that
happen that you can explain,

and there's things
that happen you can't.

And the baby doll
turnaround in the bedroom,

like I said, I
thought he did it.

He's like, I've never done that.

- The other night we
heard a great kaboom.

- Sounded like somebody
threw something

against the bathroom wall.

- Yeah and there
was nothing wrong.

- And he's like, what'd you do?

I'm like, I didn't do anything.

I was in the kitchen
at that point.

- Yeah it's gettin' bad.

- When you experienced that,

what's some of the
experiences you hear,

like noises and voices?

- She hears the voices.

I just hear the noise.

- The other night I woke up
in the middle of the night

probably two-ish in the morning.

It sounded like
somebody was standing

outside the bedroom window.

The problem is that the
bedroom windows were closed.

So I came out this way
and the dogs followed me.

And of course the hair on
the back of our pit stands up

on her back just
instantaneously.

And I'm like okay,

let's go back to bed.

I didn't want to deal with
whatever was out there.

But I've got up in the
middle of the night

to let them out and

that's when his grandpa was
standing in the kitchen doorway

blocking the doorway
to the kitchen.

And that's when the black
mask decided to come out

and make itself known
as a very large snake.

- So you've seen
what's in the house.

- It's dark.

I can't explain it.

- Our grandson says
it's the shadow man.

- A shadow man, a tall man.

He says mah-ma, he's tall.

But he would say he
was the nice one.

And I was confused
'cause he would say,

there's three others
here that are bad.

- Who all's died in the house?

- My granddad died right
here where I'm sitting

in a hospital bed.

Actually my mom died
at the dinner table

out in the kitchen.

But this here,

I don't know what
the heck it is.

I want it gone.

I don't want my wife to go
through this stuff no more.

It already bit her.

It already clawed her.

I'm done, I'm over it.

- It scratched my back.

It scratched my leg
and bit my stomach.

- [Josh] Prior to
our investigation,

the neighbor claimed he was
also having activity take place

inside his house.

- They had the same thing.

It looked like the shadow man.

And it attacked his wife.

And it was unbelievable.

It's doing the same
thing that it did to her

that it's doing to her,

but it's twice as
bad to her now.

It's getting aggressive.

- And it was
breathing down my neck

and on the side of my face

and I was the only
person in the house.

I said, you need
to leave me alone.

- When did things kinda
take a turn for the worst?

- In the last month
it's been really bad.

I think it's been since
Ben was home last.

- Yeah our son was home.

He got some of his
stuff out of the house.

And that's when it got real bad.

- So he was getting into
some pretty crazy stuff.

- Yeah he was.

They opened a portal
- Portal of some sort.

- of some sort.

- They were sitting there

and he had gotten
scratched on his back.

And she said she was
trying to talk to him

and it was just like he
was looking through her.

And then he reached out and
grabbed her by the throat.

Well once they got
him off of her,

they literally
carried him outside,

'cause it was him and her,

and I think three
or four other people

down in this basement.

And they carried him outside,

literally carried him outside,

and then he was fine.

He came in and he
talked to us here

and we were both actually
standing here in the doorway,

and that's when I got
scratched on my back.

- [David] That's when she
got scratched down her back.

- The scratches on my
back were Thursday night.

We were standing here
and Mark was telling us

before he blessed the house,

before he gave us both a cross
on our foreheads or anything,

he was telling us
what we were gonna do,

and what he was gonna do.

And he said, I had asked
that you follow behind me

so that if I have any questions,

you guys can answer 'em.

And I said okay, you know.

I was standing here
and I kept thinking,

why's my back burning?

And I thought you know,

I kinda blew it off at first.

And then we were getting ready

to go up the stairs and I said,

I want you to look at my back.

And so he did and I had
three marks down my back.

And I said, I don't understand.

Like I said, that's
my biggest thing.

Why is it here?

Why me?

Last night was
the leg scratches.

I'd went upstairs.

- [David] To shut
that light off.

- To shut the light off.

And as I was coming down
the stairway I thought,

man my leg feels funny.

Well I walked in
here and I said,

I started rubbing my leg.

He goes, what?

And I said I don't know.

And then I could feel it.

I could feel the up-raised
scratches on my leg.

And I said, are you kidding me?

And I showed him and he
said, this is ridiculous.

And he said, it's gotta go.

And he suggested

that you guys come out.
- You guys come.

- And I said at this point,

I just want it gone.

- But last night in the
bedroom I seen a white cloud.

- I could see this black
mask outside the bedroom

right in front of
the white cabinet.

And he said he saw a white
thing come across the bedroom

and I'm like okay.

He said, I'm not
sure what it was.

But that's the first time he's
really seen, seen anything.

It has a tendency to
rear its ugly head

later in the evening,

and especially if
I'm here by myself.

When Mark left the house
Thursday, that's another thing

we were upstairs and I saw
it come down the stairs,

a black mask come
down the stairs.

And then the dogs were actually

in this little room out here.

And they were
locked in their cage

and they started goin' nuts,

just barking and
growling and everything.

And I said it went downstairs.

We came downstairs and then
we went to the basement.

And as we were in the basement,

you could hear somebody walk
across the floor up here

and there was just three of
us in the house plus the dogs,

and they were locked
in their cage.

So whatever was up here

was in this little
room out here.

Don't try to antagonize
it, you know.

Whatever it is,

if it is gonna
hurt you, it can't.

- I called that
(bleeping) leave.

Leave, you're not welcome here.

- All I can tell you is
it's a dark black mask

and it's creepy.

It can come up and show its
ugly head in different ways.

Crawling on the floor
and then one up the wall,

and across the ceiling.

- I don't want him back
if we get this demon gone

- [Bobbie] Or whatever it is.

- until he's actually
blessed or whatever

because I don't want it
to have to come back.

- Life to go back to normal.

I mean, I just want this gone.

I don't want to be hurt.

I want to feel
comfortable in my home.

The last month,

I haven't really
felt comfortable.

I can't sleep.

I don't want to
say it's not evil

because it has scratched and
has done the things it's done.

But anything that would lay
all the knives out on my stove

kinda okay,
something's not right.

- So we had him
layin' in bed with us.

- [Bobbie] Yeah, I
forgot about that one.

- one night.

Out in plain day, we
were watching cartoons.

He rolled over and looked at me.

He says, I'm gonna kill you.

- [Bobbie] In your
sleep tonight Pa-pah.

- [David] In your
sleep tonight Pa-pah.

- And then he rolled
right back over,

looked right back at the TV,

and acted like

nothing ever happened.
- Nothing happened.

- He's usually a
happy-go-lucky child.

He literally rolled over
and he says, Pa-pah.

And he's like, what buddy?

He's like, I'm gonna kill
you tonight in your sleep.

(suspenseful music)

It does have a tendency
to stand outside the door.

Right in front of this
white cabinet out here

and it'll show...

It's just like a dark mask.

This is where I
was bitten though

before we put the
cross above the bed.

And that's been a
couple months ago.

I do have the marks
as you can see.

It left a nice scar.

But I was bitten in here.

As we come out here,

a lot of times you'll
see it in here.

It goes to the bathroom a lot.

It likes the bathroom.

It likes the light in there.

Out here I just usually
see it standing out here

since we put the
cross in the bedroom.

You can see a figure
standing out here,

a dark figure.

That's about as much
as I can describe it.

It's just dark black,

deep black mask standing in
front of that white cabinet,

looking in the bedroom but
you can't tell what it is.

This is where a
lot of it happens.

We'll come all the way
into his room actually.

Our son did have a
rosary that hung,

was it on this side?

And one night it stood
straight out away from the wall

and he said,

that's when he decided he
wasn't sleeping in here

and he came downstairs.

And I was like, okay.

In here it feels heavy.

I can't tell you why.

I don't know what it is,

but it feels heavy in here,

hard to breathe.

He's here somewhere.

I'm just not sure where but

upstairs is one of
the biggest things.

Which is strange 'cause
when we lived here before,

we slept in the next room,

never had a problem.

But if you don't mind,

I'd like to leave this room.

- All right, let's
get out of here.

- Unplugged when we came up
and had the house blessed,

and when I came up last night,

it was plugged in.

- So you don't like to
be up here at all then?

- No and I definitely
don't like,

especially by myself.

But it just feels like I said,

it just feels like I
have a 600 pound person

standing on my chest right now

and it's making it very
hard for me to breathe.

- Okay, so you want
to get out of here?

- Yes please.

I can be standing out here
doing dishes and running water,

and he'll be in the living
room and it sounds like

he says something to me,

and I'll be like what?

And I'll actually
leave the kitchen

and go in to find
out what he said

and he hasn't said
anything to me.

Earlier today I was
in the refrigerator,

got a piece of baloney
and it felt like someone

was blowing across the back
part of my ear just like.

(Bobbie exhaling)

The knives there and the
knives in that crock,

and all the ones above the stove

were actually all laying
on the stove in a line

with all the blades
the same direction.

It was like they were all lined
up from biggest to smallest,

just in a perfect line
all across the stove.

So that made it
a little strange.

This is the tanning bed.

I was in here one night
when he was at work

and I physically could
not get out of it.

But I couldn't get out.

It felt like somebody was
shoving the top of the bed down

as I was trying to shove
it open and I'm like,

I can't get out of here.

I'm like God, just help
me get out of here.

And probably two or three
minutes later it finally,

I was able to lift the lid and
get out of the tanning bed.

But in the kitchen,

and here,

and upstairs is the four
worst places in the house.

I don't notice it as
much in the living room,

our bedroom.

In the bathroom, it
stands outside the door.

Like I said, upstairs,

and the kitchen, the back porch,

and a lot of times you'll see it

standing outside
the bathroom door,

but it won't be in the bathroom.

It has thrown things
in the bathroom.

- Okay, we're inside
the house right now.

We've asked Dave
and Bobbie to leave.

If there are any spirits
inside this house,

or any dark entities,

we want you to speak with us.

This is Rocky and Shaun.

stairwell wasn't it?

- [Rocky] Yes.

- You've bitten Bobbie.

- Wait shh.

- I know, but I just
heard a (bleeping) noise.

Did you set knives

Trying to scare Bobbie?

Are you afraid to talk to us?

- [Rocky] Shaun, you're
casting a shadow on it.

- We can hear you.

Do something.

- Shutting that door?
- Hmm mm.

- [Rocky] Looked like
one moved across.

- Hey Josh, I swear
something just put its hand

on my right shoulder.

I thought it was
my camera thing,

but it's not.

Right after I told
Rocky to move over,

you guys moved.

Then I'm sitting here
holding the camera,

and something right here

just laid its hand, not hard.

It was just enough to feel
like the pressure of it.

And I thought it was
camera mount right here

so I reached over.

And the camera mount comes
probably about right here.

I don't know what
the hell that was

but I mean it just,

it just real easy.

I mean nothing hard
but enough to feel it.

Oh man I got (bleeping)
bumps everywhere right now.

- [Josh] Maybe back
to the bedroom again.

- Holy (bleeping).

I don't think it's the bedroom.

Did somebody just touch me?

I know you're strong
enough to do it.

Just let 'em know that
you're here with us.

That kinda got me shooken up a
a little bit for some reason.

I don't know what
the hell happened.

- I swear it sounded
like something just

crossed the ceiling.

It was like (mimicking
scratching).

- Are you upstairs?

If you're upstairs,

can you walk down the steps?

Does Ben have some reason
for you bein' here?

Did you hear that upstairs?

- [Josh] Go upstairs.

- Sounded like a thunk.

- [Josh] Okay go upstairs.

- Okay, we're gonna
come upstairs.

You don't want to come down?

You're not gonna come down,

we're gonna come up.

We'll walk through this
whole house to find you.

You can't hide.

(crashing)

What the (bleeping) was that?

- [Rocky] I don't know.

Did you hear the (bleeping)
bang in the steps?

- [Shaun] It was this car.

- [Rocky] That car
(bleeping) tossed.

- [Josh] Where the
hell was the car?

- [Shaun] There's a point.

I wonder if it was up here.

I don't know if it
was up here or not.

- [Narrator] You can clearly see

from the earlier
walkthrough video,

the toy car was
sitting on the cabinet

prior to our investigation.

- Are you up here with us?
- Shh.

- What was that?

- [Rocky] Sounded like
someone (exhaling).

- Yeah, I heard that.

It sounded like down
there right by Josh.

Did you hear it Josh?
- No.

- [Rocky] It's like
right in front of you.

(bleeping)

- It was like he
heard that thunk,

then next thing you know that...

I mean if it was
that car or whatever,

yeah that was (bleeping).

- [Rocky] We should
have it on film.

- Are you hiding in here?

Come on, you want to do
stuff try to scare us.

This is gonna be
the time to do it.

You show yourself,

you scratch people,

you bite people,

and you can't do anything to us?

Maybe you're not as strong
as everybody thinks you are.

Tell me your name.

What the hell was that?

- Mm hmm.

- Is that all you can do?

- Mm hmm.

- Any of you guys make it out?

- [Crew] No.

- Are you trying to talk to me?

I'm not here to hurt you.

I just want to understand why
you're doing what you are.

- [Rocky] Looks
like some type of...

I think it was
door at one point,

but it's closed now.

- Have you been at this
house for a long time?

I'm gettin' goosebumps
for some reason big time.

I mean chills just went
from like the bottom

all the way up.

I don't know why.

Are you in this
room now with us?

Can you knock something off?

Was that you that banged
on something earlier?

Same house, different
light doesn't it seem?

- [Rocky] Mm hmm.

It's hard to walk up here.

- I think ever since
I got them chills,

it's like I'm really
cold right now

and just feel really dizzy.

- But I think

what we can do is
if you and Rocky

go down to her bedroom

and then I'll stay up here

and see if being up
here alone gets it

to do something.

Because a lot of the
stuff that happens to her

happens when she's
alone inside this house.

So if I stay up here by myself,

then maybe that'll entice
it to do something.

- [Shaun] Let's try it.

- [Narrator] Since the majority

of Bobbie's experiences happen

when she's alone in the house,

I have decided to remain
upstairs by myself

while Rocky and Shaun
head to the first floor.

- Okay I'm up here by myself.

Who's the spirit that's been
biting and scratching Bobbie?

- [Rocky] Well give me the
ghost box so I can talk to him.

- [Josh] Okay.

- [Rocky] Are you
looking for Ben?

You're looking for Jesus?

Why are you in this house?

(ghost box buzzing)

problem with Bobbie?

You got a problem with Josh?

Why do you keep saying Ben?

Is Ben here?

Thought I heard walkin' up here.

- My name's Josh.

keeps attacking Bobbie?

- [Narrator] Feeling that
Bobbie may be the trigger

place inside this house,

I have asked Bobbie to
join my brothers and I

for the remainder of
the investigation.

Bobbie to remove

all her religious symbols
before joining us.

- Okay, I got Bobbie up here.

If you're in here or upstairs,

give us a sign.

- What do you want here?

Can you show us
you're here please?

- She's not gonna be scared
to walk around her own house.

So you trying to scare
her has gotta stop.

- [Josh] Just tell
it the scratching,

the biting,

all that (bleeping) stuff,

don't be nice to it.

- No more, I want you gone.

I don't want you scratching me.

I don't want you touching me.

I don't want you touching
my family for that matter.

I don't want to be bitten.

I don't want you
breathing down my neck.

My ear's hot.

- That's fine.

I'm right here with you.

It can't do anything to you.

- No, my ear just
got really hot.

- Tell it to stop.

- Stop, I don't want you here.

I want you to leave my home.

I don't know why you're here,

but I don't want you here.

You need to leave.

You need to leave now.

- You heard it.

You're not welcome.

You can't scare her no more.

She's gonna be free to
walk in this whole house

wherever she wants.

- No more playing
with knives, nothing.

Don't touch anything,

especially me.

- We tried to talk to you.

We tried to figure
out why you was here.

You're just not
welcome here no more.

You need to get out.

That's why Bobbie brought
us in, to help her,

to help make you leave.

You could have pushed us.

You could have tried to
stop us, but you didn't.

- [Josh] Let's go
down to her bedroom.

- This is where you bit me.

I don't want you here.

I don't want you in this room.

I don't want you in this house.

You need to leave.

I don't even want to
know why you're here.

I just want you to leave.

I want you gone.

It literally, it's out that way.

- Nowhere for you to go now.

If you opened that door earlier,

do it again 'cause that's
where you're goin',

straight out the door.

- Are you down here?

(ghost box buzzing)

- Did you hear that Josh?

- [Rocky] I thought it said
Bobbie, where's Bobbie.

- Are you from the house

- [Narrator] To rule out
any natural explanations

to the activity
inside this house,

Shaun has begun checking
the entire house

for abnormal EMF readings.

(device squeaking)

- [Shaun] Hey Josh,
come here for a minute.

- Because that wasn't blessed.

It shouldn't be like that.

- [Josh] Okay, I'll open it up.

- [Shaun] I bet there
could be wires going under

with that high EMF.

- [Rocky] Yeah but he
said that they weren't.

It shouldn't be picking
it up right there.

- Shh, watch.

(knocking)

Are you in there?

Knock.

- [Rocky] You hear that?

It's in there.

You hear that?

- Who are you?

We're coming in
if you're hiding.

You want out of there?

(drill buzzing)

Is there anything in this attic?

We'll make you
leave the attic too.

(Shaun murmuring)

- [Rocky] I mean
there's no wires.

- [Shaun] It's down
there at the bottom.

They shouldn't be
setting it up that hot.

Like I said that's
EMF, that's all it is.

(thumping)

- [Man] Did you do that?

Did you do that?

- [Bobbie] No I did not.

I was standing here
holding this like this.

- [Josh] What happened?

- I don't know.

I'm gonna have a heart
attack one of these days.

the cleansing in here

and then work our way.

We'll cleanse that and
then we'll seal it back up.

In the name of the

and the Holy Spirit.

Maybe the angels of heaven
be sent forth to protect us.

We come in the name of Jesus

under his authority
and under his blood.

I command you to stop
all evil activities

and attacks inside this house.

In the name of Jesus

I hereby close all
entryways, portals,

and doorways inside this house

to any evil or demonic
spirits in this house.

In the name of Jesus Christ,

I command you to leave now.

Leave this house
and to never return.

Lord we ask that
you fill this house

with the light of
the Holy Spirit

and let there be no dark place

for the evil ones to hide.

And guard over this
house and this property

from any dark or evil spirits.

We ask that you move on

and be free and be at peace.

- Well it's the morning
after the cleanse

and everything
seems pretty good.

It's quiet.

It's nice and I'm relaxed.

And I'm upstairs

with no heavy feeling.

It's calm.

So I think it worked.
