Since season two, jay and I are doing really well.

I think marriage has ups and downs,

but we are on a high right now, and I love him again.

I'm still not showing my kids, but everyone is doing great.

Camden is in first grade, jaxon is in kindergarten,

and saylor is in preschool three days a week.

And everyone is just getting big. It's crazy.

The biggest change in my personal life

is that my best friend kelly and I haven't talked in two months.

We've had a major falling out,

and it's just been breaking my heart.

for a really long time, and she's actually taken

some smaller companies and helped scale them very quickly.

I mean, she's really been a huge asset.

She came in and she really changed the culture

and just elevated the brand as a whole.

- I'm gonna ask her what her rate is.

I'm gonna start charging that, too.

- She's really expensive, but she's worth it.

- See if the codes guy was there to pass this pool house.

- I thought that everything was done.

So he has to sign off on it, and then we can officially use it?

- Correct. I'm gonna start bringing equipment over

from the old house. What do you want first?

- There's been quite a bit of turnover within the company.

Actually, I am thinking about opening up a second store.

Dallas and chicago are my top two markets.

- Are you leaning a certain way at all?

- Obviously I have more of a connection with chicago.

I feel like I have to just go and look at places,

I didn't think about it.

My store in nashville crushes it, so I would love

to recreate that in another city.

I mean, dallas and chicago are my top two markets

in the country.

Dallas is actually my top nordstrom store.

But obviously, chicago, I have all this history there.

There's a real emotional tie there.

All three of my kids were born there, my mom is there,

a lot of my best friends are there,

and jay and I met there.

So I feel like it would be a great place

to open up another store.

I feel like I'm still always delving in work,

When season two was airing,

It wasn't the actual accusations of them having an affair

that made me upset. It was how kelly went about it.

She wanted to post something about it,

and I was like, "don't post anything about it!"

- Kelly kept talking about jay on social media.

That was adding fuel to the fire,

and I also feel like she was using jay

for her own personal gain.

So I wrote her this email, and I was like,

"here's how your actions have affected me."

and she wrote me back, and she was really defensive.

I kept trying to reach out to her and talk to her about it

and just tell her how I was feeling about everything,

and instead of her just owning her side of it

and being like, "I'm sorry. Oh, my god,

that was never my intention" or whatever,

she kept giving me pushback and would get really defensive.

And then she literally just stopped responding to me.

[ voice breaking ] like, that, to me,

is such a slap in the face.

I feel like she's kinda wrapped up in her world right now,

and she hasn't really been there for me. Um...

But she has no problem being in my life when it benefits her.

I mean, I tried to be there for her through every situation.

I care way too much about her to just be like

I'm not willing to just let it go,

and I don't know if I'm ready to just move on from it.

and so, like, the more we've talked about marriage,

- When I fell in love with jon,

jon was the one that was onstage

his dreams come true.

And overnight, my dreams started to become a reality.

And so the focus came less on him and what he was doing,

and the more that I grew,

the more I felt like he would question,

or, like, make me feel insecure about the way that I am.

I think jon always wanted me to be the housewife.

I think in general,

he loved that I was smart and independent.

But at the end of the day, I think he really

just wanted me to cook, clean, and have a beer by the door.

You know, he's like, "why don't you come home from work early,

and why don't you wanna be with me?"

and I kept saying, like, "I'm busy. Kristin needs me."

and then I thought about it,

and I was like, that's an excuse.

until 8:00 at night?
