It looks like Ray's gone through

some kind of amazing molecular transformation.

The press is going wild.

Ray and his dad could get rich off of this.

Girls, couldn't something like this

Ray's only had them for one day and he's already famous.

The Plant didn't turn him into a test animal, they hired him.

Alex, if I had to make the choice all over again

I'd make the same one.

Well, this time I wouldn't have listened to you.

( Ray groans )

when Vince chased me and Ray

and this lightning got through us

and the powers got transferred from me to him.

Alex, we know what it must be like

having a best friend

suddenly become so famous

and it's natural that you would be jealous.

But do you really

expect us to believe what you're telling us?

That you had super powers all this time

and not only did you not tell us

we never noticed?

I did! You just never saw it.

I did it in front of you.

[Annie] Good morning.

I told Mom and Dad

about me having the powers

and about transferring them to Ray.

[Mr. Alvarado] Some of the plans concern me

and will be well protected by us.

Vince will look after his every need.

I've worked at the Plant long enough to know

I don't want a man like Vince looking after my son.

( Laughing ): You wish.

It was horrible.

But I'm telling you, I had the powers.

( Applause )

[Announcer] Here we go again.

Tie score, bottom half of the ninth, one out.

Coming up to bat for the devils, Ray Alvarado.

[Alex] Come on, Ray!

I thought we were going

to the movies with Louis.

We are, after the game.

I promised Ray I'd stay.

Besides, I owe him one.

It's a long story.
