Interesting being on this side of the couch,

I'm normally sitting where you are.

So it was back to the drawing board,

I did not know what to do, I was so disappointed.

-[light music] -My focus is True

and just really immersing myself in motherhood

that's what I did.

She's a human, I'm a human

her humanness is no different than mine.

We don't really have a relationship.

-[soft music] -[Deeran] He's like a manly man.

And I've never been like a manly man.

My father has such masculine energy

and it's so intimidating, I feel so small.

Sad, I mean,

and as I get older you see the ramifications

And so I joined the military for my dad.

And so I thought, "Okay if I do this,

honestly, that this may be a turning point."

I think the thought behind it is

incredible because you wanted to do that for your dad.

But it's for you and you just want love from your father.

I just want to know I won't fall off this thing.

Jumping jack and jumping jack.

-Eyes up. -[Deeran] Ooh, okay.

The ideal is that you want to stay on the trampoline.

Girl, like come on now!

[Deeran] Whoa, that's 240A. Oh, my God!

-[dramatic music] -Pick it up, place it down.

over 50 pounds to lose.

[Simone] Sprint, sprint, sprint,

-And keep going, keep going. -[groaning]

-Keep going. -[groan]

I would like you to take your shirt off for me

so we can see what we're dealing with.

[Deeran] This is so exposed.

[screams] Jesus...

I'd like you to look at yourself.

[suspenseful music]

[Simone] What emotion is coming out right now?

[heavy sobs]

I would love for you to get to a place

and in that app I actually created the meal plan.

So for the next 12 weeks

[intense music]

I'm a little annoyed because I got weighed in today,

It's a little rough, but it's moving.

This is just, it's challenging me

[Deeran] To ask me to change my mind,

my perception, is hard.

But that's what I have to do

for my dad to see me for who I am.

And at this point in time,

You're telling me when you walked in here

on day one you wanted to lose fifty pounds.

You're nowhere even near that.

There's three parts to a weight-loss journey

You're making excuses, blaming everybody else,

and not taking any responsibility for yourself.

You act like this (bleep) is easy. This ain't easy, Simone!

And I walk in and see this little...

Lord, I need your help.

So how are you feeling about that conversation

with your dad?

I don't know how my dad is going to receive everything.

how deep trust issues that I have.

But I want to show you that there are people,

like me, that will be here for you.

Through this process,

I learned so much from learning food,

religion, my sexuality.

And my truth is that I fancy men and women.

Okay. [sighs]

For the past couple of weeks, I've been doing

a show called Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian.

twelve weeks was an opportunity for me to get help

and meet people, to be able to live my true and authentic self.

I love my daddy

And even if he doesn't,

it's okay, 'cause I'm proud of who I am

and everything I've accomplished to date.

I'm gonna keep going forward.

"I am man enough, my friends."

Deeran's daddy is a private person.

I've lived a whole lifetime hiding

and now I can just be me in all my fabulosity.

I'm just excited about this journey to come.
