- Well, we've made it to week 10

in the search for Dirt
Squirrel's new spokesmodel,

and the numbers have dwindled.

From 21 dashing divas to just
three fabulous finalists.

Last week the guys learnt
the tricks of the trade

to making a social media video.

But in the end, Dan
and Wade felt like

Chad was still buffering
so he was sent home.

Today our three finalists
will showcase themselves

like never before
in a live event

at Vancouver's
Odyssey Nightclub.

But only one can be
crowned the winner

of a spokesmodel contract
with Dirt Squirrel Company,

a four page spread
with DNA Magazine,

and 5,000 dollars cash.

(intense electronic music)

- Today we're at the
Odyssey Nightclub

in the heart of
Downtown Vancouver.

- Tonight we're putting
our contestants to the test

and having them perform in
front of a live audience.

- We've made it, this is it.

You gotta bring it.

- I have talent!

But in terms of talent
to present on stage?

(Patrick laughs)

- I'm feeling excited,

but very worried that whatever
I brought to the table

wouldn't be enough.

- Tonight we're gonna see
the final three face off

and crown our winner.

- We cannot wait to see

what they bring to the
table this evening.

- We are at the Odyssey

- How can I not be animated?

- It's been a week since
we've seen lots of them

so I can't wait to have a

in the 10 weeks
we've been together!

- There's been many
ups, many downs,

We're going to be doing,

with these three
gentlemen tonight,

a good old fashioned
talent show.

- For the grand finale,

we are making the boys
do a live talent show

that's definitely
gonna make them

step out of their comfort zone.

Because I'm already
uncomfortable thinking about it.

(laughs)

- And then they're gonna
have a couple of minutes

to talk to Dan and Wade

about why they should be the
winner of the competition.

- Yes!

- Dan and Wade, any last
words for our three finalists,

to make sure you get what
you're looking for tonight?

- The talent show's
a fun opportunity

for the guys to show off in

That being said, that
is extremely difficult.

- This is definitely going to be

the ultimate test of the season.

- That really was nerve-racking.

I said to myself,

What can I do?

Once that music came
on, I felt that beat.

I was like ooh, get

I was loving it,
I was loving it!

And then I got into
that shower, got wet.

It was sexy, drip drip.

- This is like mine.

This is like my competition.

This is my talent show.

It helped that I
was the only one

in the top three
that had a talent.

It really helped.

- Why do I deserve to
be The Whole Package?

Throughout this
entire competition,

I have demonstrated
consistency and growth.

I always go the extra mile

and this competition is
truly no different to me.

From a young age, I was
taught or conditioned

to believe that as a black man
it would be tough to succeed.

That as a person of color
the odds would be against me

and that as a gay man I
was not created equally.

I took the opportunity to
be on this television show

not only to be a spokesperson
for Dirt Squirrel,

but to share my
story with the world

and hopefully inspire
others that have shared

a similar experience as me.

To get the message out there

that at the end of the day,

you can be anything
you set out to be.

Again, I've taken
those distinctions,

I wear them as a badge of honor,

and that is what fuels
me to do what I do

each and every day.

I deserve to be
The Whole Package

because that is what I
will do going forward,

that same fire and
fuel that ignites me,

I will channel to be a proud
and valiant spokesperson

for Dirt Squirrel because
I am The Whole Package.

- Knowing Patrick, I
knew a lot of his history

and I think it's fabulous that
he was able to explain that

in a very public setting.

- Good job, Patrick!

- Hi, everybody!

Hi Dan, hi Wade!

I feel like I would be the best
representative for you guys

because I'm also American.

When you guys wanna go and
do tours around the world,

I can come with you.

No hassle.

No hassle.

Just let me know, my
passport is there.

(Lochlan laughs)

I have so much
fun with you guys,

the shoots have been amazing,

and I think it would
just be such an honor

to be a part of your team
and to travel with you guys

as a Dirt Squirrel-er.

And also, with the
five thousand dollars,

I would use it to go
meet my birth parents.

I met my birth dad last year,

but I haven't met
my birth mother yet.

So with that I would take
the money and go meet her,

because we've been in
contact and we've talked

and she's actually really
excited about this,

she wished me luck today.

So with the money, that's
what I would do to use it.

I would go meet her and to
reconnect with my birth mother.

I just want to say
thank you guys so much

for the experience,
it's been amazing.

You guys are bomb as
fuck, and I love you all.

Okay, so I wrote a letter

because I have a terrible memory

and I probably
wouldn't remember,

I definitely wouldn't
remember this

if I didn't write it down.

I'm shaking.

Okay, so many of
you don't know this

but I'm actually
homeless right now.

Yeah, I've been
staying in a shelter

for the past three months.

I'll spare you all the dirty
details of how I got there,

but the takeaway from that

is that it's just a
testament to how important

this is to me.

Winning this will
literally change my life.

I worked incredibly hard
to get to where I am today.

In life, and in
this competition,

and I'm not gonna cry about it,

'cause that's not me right now,

and I'm only going
to keep working.

I want to thank you all, you

feel about that?

the competition as a whole,

not just about the
challenge tonight.

So let's start with Patrick.

- Last pick is Patrick.

I think Patrick really grew
a lot in this competition.

- [Dan] Honestly, as a friend
of his, it's so nice to see.

- I haven't told the other
guys that I know Dan and Wade

and we have a pretty
close relationship.

I wanna keep that under wraps.

You wanna shine,
you wanna stand out.

First competition is
the time to do that.

(contestants groan)

I'm not someone who
models for a career

or in front of a
camera all day long,

so this entire
experience is new to me.

- He showed us his killer
smile, and you know what,

I don't get to see that a lot.

So that, in and of itself,

and him on stage in
front of a live audience.

- That was way out
of his comfort zone.

- A year ago, I would have
never seen him do that.

And he was freaking in here,

but in here he
was gonna kill it.

- Let's move on to Lachlan.

- My first pick is
going to be Lachlan.

(contestants applaud)

- [Dan] You can
have some attitude,

but if you wanna get better
you have to listen to critique.

And he's done that,
and he's shown that.

(Lochlan sighs)

- I'm coming across maybe a
little bitchy just because

people just don't, I
think, understand me yet.

And they're just kind of
taking it the wrong way.

- [Wade] He hit that low note
and then he came out swinging

and ran right back
up to the top.

- And that was what
we saw with him.

And that was so commendable

and obviously that's the
reason he's here today.

And he still has not stopped.

- [Wade] I think the
pressure of the competition

has gotten the better of
Owen quite a few times.

- I feel like I choked.

Like.

- [Wade] And he's worked
through it, and he's delivered.

- He has maintained
that consistency,

and proven over
and over and over

that he is the full package.

Yet at the same time,

I don't think we've gotten
his full potential yet

I almost apologized
to Lachlan and Patrick

but then I was like, nope,

because a true Dirt
Squirrel is unapologetic

and then I bit it back.

- [Host] Patrick and Lachlan,

you were incredible competition

and you both should be
incredibly proud of yourselves,

- I was a little upset,

but you know what,

this isn't the last
you'll see of Lachlan,

- I would've loved to win,

But I was happy to have
made it as far as I did.
