Come.

Sit down.

Xian,

you got thinner.

Yanli,

you too.

Where have you been?

Yanli.

It doesn't matter where I've been,

I won't leave now.

I promised that you, Jiang Cheng, and I

will be together forever.

Yes.

Together forever.

Don't you ever disappear again, okay?

Never again.

Wei!

Wei.

Wei.

Wei.

I heard you came back.

It's really you!

You're really...

Nie, long time no see.

Wei, you've been missing for months. Everyone was desperately looking for you.

Especially Second Young Master Lan and Jiang.

-They almost-- -That's enough.

You're talking too much.

-Hurry, let's get out. -Wait! I'm not done yet.

I'll tell you what.

-I'm giving a banquet tonight. -Wei...

Everyone can come and have fun.

Xian, I'll go prepare your food.

Just get some rest.

You just came back.

Don't exhaust yourself.

Clan Leader.

Second Young Master... He...

Off you go.

Clan Leader, I deeply regret your loss...

Get lost!

Get lost, all of you!

Sunshot.

I just wonder how you can shoot the sun in the sky down.

Clan Leader Jiang.

Young Master Wei could have made it back safe and sound.

It's really a fortune for our rebellion against Wen.

Everyone.

Let's toast to Young Master Wei.

-To Wei. -To Wei.

To Young Master Wei.

Wei Wuxian.

Pardon me.

Wei shows his respect. I'll dry the glass then.

-Dry it! -Dry it!

Young Master Wei,

why didn't you carry your sword today?

I'm just not in the mood.

As a disciple of a cultivation clan,

carrying swords ought to be a kind of honor.

I know Young Master Wei's fame as an untamed character.

But isn't it a bit excessive

to be so impertinent?

Young Master Wei's renown in swordsmanship is well-known.

I expect to have a friendly match

in such a rare case.

However, you don't have your sword.

How regrettable that you can't do me such a favor.

Hey, Wei.

Why don't you tell everyone how you killed Wen Chao?

An evil person naturally met his bad end.

What...

What does he mean by that?

I heard Wen Chao suffered so much

before he died

that he might not be recognizable to his own father.

Yes.

I also heard that Young Master Wei learned some strange sorceries.

His talismans even reveal some kind of viciousness.

Maybe he learned some lousy tricks.

JUESHAN HALL

Xian.

What?

Where is Second Young Master Lan?

I don't know.

Haven't you two been getting along well?

Is that so?

Gentlemen,

we are now a coalition of four clans.

We'll eradicate the Wen Clan sooner or later.

We'll reduce them to nothing!

-Yes! -That's right!

-Let's drink! -Down with the Wen Clan!

-Come on, bottoms up! -Down with the Wen Clan!

-Bottoms up! -Bottoms up!

This is...

There will be a price for learning wicked tricks.

There are no exceptions throughout history.

These tricks harm your body

and your temperament more.

Why did you leave early?

Aren't you the same?

I'm worried about you.

Why do you look so gloomy?

What do you think?

Is it because of Lan Wangji?

Since that unhappy separation, he's been avoiding you.

Why did you come here to be disliked by him?

Maybe I'm just bored.

Wei Wuxian.

I found your sword for you.

Why aren't you carrying it?

I said I wasn't in the mood.

You should carry your sword in such a public situation next time.

Or you'll present yourself as an example of no courtesy.

Come on. Let's go back.

Jiang Cheng.

You should know me by now.

The more you want me to do something,

the more I don't want to.

What can they do if I don't carry my sword?

Besides...

I don't want to have a match with somebody I don't know.

My sword can't return to its sheath without any blood on it.

In case anyone would bother me with that again,

I decided not to carry it to solve the problem for good.

Didn't you like to show off your swordsmanship?

I was childish then.

I can't be childish all my life.

Xian,

I saw the door open so I...

Xian, what happened?

Yanli, it's okay.

This flute...

I never saw you holding that before.

Yanli.

Yanli, are you okay?

Did it hurt you?

I'm fine.

So it recognizes you as its owner?

I happened to pick it up.

It's your first-class spiritual tool then.

Just like Mother's Zidian.

Xian, what's its name?

I haven't figured it out.

It's first-class.

It deserves a name.

Don't slight it.

Are you planning to call it "Suibian," just like your sword?

Well...

I want to call it Chenqing.

Chenqing?

Chenqing.

Grand Master, there are some things that are not suitable for liberation,

so why not find a way to make use of them?

When Yu the Great tamed the flood,

obstruction was the inferior method and redirection was superior.

Suppression is the same as obstruction so isn't it inferior...

Grand Master, spiritual energy is energy. Resentful energy is also energy.

Spiritual energy is in our dantian.

It can split mountains and fill oceans for human use.

If so, then why can't resentful energy also be used by humans?

Xian,

I saw you didn't eat much at the banquet.

Have some soup.

Yanli,

what is it?

Xian.

You've changed.

During the past three months,

where exactly have you been?

Yanli,

you worry too much.

Xianxian,

I've seen you grow up.

You can hardly hide it in front of me.

But what matters is your safe return.

It's most important that we three are together.

As for the other things,

you can tell me when you want to.

Deal?

Well...

Let's change the topic.

You've just returned. Some sound sleep is necessary.

I...

I'll deliver some soup to Cheng.

You're so unfair, Yanli.

You left Cheng with so much soup.

Yanli.

It tastes fantastic.

Xianxian, you're really back.

It's so comforting.

SCORCHING SUN PALACE

Yanli, have you seen Wei Wuxian?

No.

What's wrong?

Isn't he in his room?

Zewu Jun arrived today.

Everyone has to attend the meeting by Red Blade Master.

Now almost everyone is present, but not him.

That Wei Wuxian started his show the second he returned.

Hey.

You are a clan leader now.

Don't act so flustered.

Now just attend the meeting.

I'll take some people to find him.

He just got back after all.

Don't push it too hard on him.

Maybe he just went out for a walk.

At such a moment, no time is left for him to go for a walk.

This is not our home.

Isn't he embarrassing himself?

You're spoiling him again, Yanli.

All right, just go to the meeting.

Go now.

I will find him.

Even though we are not holding an official conference here.

Isn't this Wei Wuxian

a little arrogant?

We waited for him for so long

on account of his slaying Wen Chao.

Red Blade Master,

he killed Wen Chao,

but you also killed Wen Xu.

Meritorious as he is,

he still has no right to let us

wait for him.

Gentlemen,

Wen Wuxian just arrived at Qinghe.

And he had just survived a severe wound.

A severe wound?

I could hardly see any severe wounds on him.

Clan Leader Jiang.

You're the host of Jiang Clan now.

Wei Ying is accordingly counted as your subordinate.

You ordered him to attend the meeting.

There should be no reason for him not to come.

I just wonder if he is doing something

without your knowledge again.

It can't be that

he has gone to practice

those crooked tricks again, right?

This is a domestic affair.

It's none of Jin Clan's business.

Enough.

Let's stop discussing such matters.

Now that Wen Ruohan has lost his two sons,

he is like a man without his arms.

So it's our best chance to stick together and conquer the Qishan.

Win or lose is in this battle.

We shall make a concerted effort.

Red Blade Master is right.

Clan Leader Jiang,

if Young Master Wei can't make it here today,

please relay to him

our discussion today.

That's enough.

Let's resume our conference.

Move! Catch up!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Move!

Catch up! Be quick!

Don't linger!

Hurry! Move!

You! Obey us!

Catch up!

Move!

Go! Quickly!

Hurry up!

Move! Quickly!

Move!

I'm talking to you! Move it!

Move!

Hurry up! Catch up!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

What are you waiting for? Catch up!

Move! Be obedient!

-Stop! Be obedient! -Stop!

What are you doing? Stop!

Stop right there! You're trying to run?

Be obedient, got it?

Qing.

Madam, don't be afraid.

We just need to follow.

Who else wants to run away?

This is what's waiting for you!

Qing, where are they taking us?

I have no idea.

Maybe to Wen Clan's slave camp.

I wonder if Ning is also there.

Retributive!

If Clan Leader Wen hadn't released the dancing fairy,

today, you would not...

You and Ning would not be incriminated

-by the Wen Clan. -Madam.

Madam. It's all right.

As long as Ning is safe.

Move!

Hurry up! Move!

Hurry up! Forward!

Hurry up! Catch up!

Get up!

Move!

Move!

Madam! Are you okay, madam?

Hurry up!

Get up now!

Get up!

Get up, all of you!

Get up, people!

What...

What was that?

This place is haunted!

What haunted? Move!

Move! Hurry! Get moving!

Catch up! Move!

Move! Obey!

Keep it up! Hurry up!

Hurry up!

I said, you! Hurry up!

Move! Keep it up!

Move!

Move!

Xian.

Xian, what's the matter?

Nothing.

Yanli, why are you here?

On Zewu Jun's arrival,

Red Blade Master called everybody to a meeting.

Cheng was looking for you everywhere.

Xian.

What...

What just happened?

It was...

It was the strong wind.

It broke several branches.

Really?

Since it's nothing,

let's go back now.

Xian, what is it?

I'm fine.

Let's go, Yanli.

As all of you just stated,

Wen Ruohan lost his sons.

There is no one capable of leading troops to flank us.

Only the army in Qishan remains.

We can lead our troops straight

to the Wen Clan's den and devastate it for good.

Be that as it may,

I hope everyone keeps their guards up.

Wen Ruohan's sons are not his ace.

It's the Yin Iron and his puppets.

Zewu Jun is right.

Wen Ruohan was able to slaughter various cultivation clans,

just because of his control over the Yin Iron.

He can manipulate other people.

Turn people into puppets against us.

This is exactly what we shall deliberate over today.

How to cope with the Yin Iron in Wen Ruohan's hands.

Wei.

Wei Wuxian.

Clan Leader Nie.

Wen Ruohan's Yin Iron might be outside of our concern.

What do you mean?

Maybe there are some countermeasures against Yin Iron.

Young Master Wei, please elaborate.

Zewu Jun,

I don't mean to conceal it.

We'll see in about a month.

Young Master Wei,

why did you stop carrying your sword?

I'm just not in the mood.

That Wei Wuxian...

Is he intending to fool us?

How can there be something to counter Yin Iron?

Does it counter itself?

Wangji.

Why is Young Master Wei so confident

that we can acquire the Yin Iron

against Wen Ruohan in a month?

I don't know.

So many predecessors

had failed for Yin Iron.

I'm afraid Young Master Wei is overconfident.

Wangji,

I'd like to ask you something.

Was the death of people in Yiling Supervisory Office

really related to Yin Iron?

No.

Xichen.

He's not like that.

But what happened there

was weird indeed.

When you approached Yiling,

was there anything unusual?

Xichen.

Are there rules

already set for everything in the world?

I once thought

that if I spend my lifetime effort

reading all the books from the Lan Clan's storage,

I can figure out the truth of the world.

But I found out

that even if I finish all existing books,

there are still so many puzzles

in the world.

There are no set rules.

There wasn't a clear line between right and wrong.

If people can't be judged simply in this way,

then how can we evaluate a person?

What makes us human

can't be judged simply as right or wrong.

It lies within ourselves.

As we evaluate others,

we shall not label them as black or white

but know their deep intentions inside.

Wangji.

If you're worried about Young Master Wei...

Not a bit.

Be frank with me.

What do you mean?

You and Lan Wangji

decided to cut your association just like that?

It was he who cut the association.

I didn't.

He didn't want to respond to you anyway.

Jiang Cheng,

I remember you did not like him.

Why are you speaking for him now?

Nonsense.

We are on the same side now.

The four major clans are sticking together.

There is no need to fuss

about such trivial things.

Besides, back in Yiling it was...

Anyway, you should not talk about that nonsense again.

You should stay in the righteous path of mastering the swordsmanship.

What's the matter?

Now,

you really act like a clan leader.

Second Young Master Lan.

Lady Jiang.

You're here for Xian?

Second Young Master Lan.

I need to ask you

about something.

UNCLEAN REALM

This method will harm your body and distort your temperament.

What...

What should be done then?

Swordsmanship is the most decent technique.

Talismans and spells can only assist it.

They can't be used as a cultivation method.

Lan Zhan,

what were you telling Yanli?

Wei Ying.

I remember telling you

to stay out of our business.

Xian, Second Young Master Lan was just...

What happened, Xian?

I was worried about you, so I asked Second Young Master Lan.

Why are you so mad?

Yanli,

has he...

told you about Yiling Supervisory Office?

He said nothing.

Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan, listen to me.

Lan Zhan, after several months,

you've made progress again!

It's you who didn't make any progress.

Where is Suibian?
