Original subtitles

The bodies are blue.

The color of their pupils has changed.

There are red cracks on their necks.

Before they died,

they were all made into puppets.

Who on earth did this?

Welcome.

Xue Yang.

I won't let you escape this time.

Xiao Xingchen, you are so persistent.

You finally got me after tracking me for such a long time.

Who are you? Why do you kill innocent people?

I almost lost interest in the past few days.

It's finally getting exciting now.

Xue Yang,

since you came out of Qishan, many cultivators have been murdered.

I've been tracking you for about half a month,

and you got away every time.

Now you have killed the members of the Chang Clan.

I will make you pay for your crime today!

Friend,

I plead guilty.

But as for my punishment,

it depends on whether you can catch me.

What's this?

That's funny.

Let's just watch.

This cultivator's spiritual power is condensed

and a few times better than this lad's.

Don't get involved now.

Lan Zhan, are you still bored?

How do you feel, buddy?

Is it fun?

What is your talisman? It's quite powerful.

I call it Bonding or Binding.

But it's kind of a waste

to use it on you.

I have to find another name for it.

How about "Dying"?

-Waving of Qiankun! -Watch out!

Xingchen.

Zichen.

Xue Yang, do you confess?

Of course.

ANCESTRAL SHRINE

So you are all disciples of the main clans.

No wonder you behave gracefully and are remarkably skilled.

I'm Xiao Xingchen.

This is my friend,

Song Lan.

Xiao Xingchen, the Moon in the Breeze.

Song Zichen, the Gentry despite the Frost.

Your decency is known to us.

You flatter me, Second Young Master Lan. I'm not worthy of such compliments.

I happened to hunt nearby today

and rushed here when I noticed Xingchen's message.

Your kindness in saving the world is famous among people.

It's an honor to meet you.

Hey, what are you laughing at?

Nothing.

I just feel disgusted to see the so-called gentries

-being so hypocritical. -You!

You have a notorious record

at a young age, Xue Yang.

And you are awfully cunning.

He is responsible for the recent continuous massacres

of these minor clans.

Though he's not resisting now,

he will definitely escape when there is a chance.

We must not be disarrayed by him.

Intriguing.

I'm curious as to how he will escape.

Hand it over.

What?

The Yin Iron.

I have no idea what you are saying.

I just killed them.

I never aimed for money.

Doesn't matter if it's iron or gold,

I didn't touch it.

Lan Zhan,

don't bother talking to him.

Just search him.

Hold this for me.

I'll do it on my own.

A young master from a famous clan is searching another man like this.

Aren't you worried about your name if words spread out?

Sorry, among hundreds of clans,

when it comes to being cheeky,

no one can beat me.

How interesting.

Lan Zhan,

how about taking out your Yin Iron to see if it can sense something?

No need.

After we got in, there hasn't been any further reaction.

He must have hidden it somewhere, that's why he didn't resist at all.

Where do you think he would hide the Yin Iron?

I think...

the most dangerous place is the safest.

Let's go.

Xue Yang, tell me,

are you under the Wen Clan's orders?

You flatter me.

I'm just a hooligan in Kuizhou. I'm a nobody.

The Wen Clan of Qishan is far out of my league.

You can't reach big clans,

but you can be ruthless to minor ones without even frowning.

Yes, I killed several irrelevant guys,

but I already told you.

It's none of the Wen Clan's business.

It's a personal thing.

Purely personal.

What kind of personal stuff

could make you this malevolent?

There is no sign of repressing the Yin Iron.

Wei, Lan, Jiang!

Nie.

I came as fast as I could after meeting up with Meng Yao at the inn.

You...

What happened?

You don't look well.

Clan Leader Nie cares about your safety,

he sent me to meet you.

Clan Leader Nie received Clan Leader Lan's letter,

please come to Qinghe to talk with him.

My brother's letter?

Is there anything wrong in Cloud Recesses?

Nothing important.

Please come with me, Second Young Master Lan,

Clan Leader Nie is waiting at the Unclean Realm.

Xiao,

Xue's hiding of the Yin Iron is a serious matter,

do you trust us to take Xue Yang to Clan Leader Nie

and ask him to see for himself?

By the way, this is Clan Leader Nie's younger brother.

Clan Leader Nie is famous for his heroic spirit and clear standards.

I believe he will judge it fairly.

Of course.

Xue Yang is cunning,

you'd better set off

in case of other accidents.

Won't you come with us?

We have to say goodbye to you.

Friends,

please come along with us to Qinghe since you've made an effort too.

We should discuss how to handle Xue Yang and the Wen Clan of Qishan.

I don't know anything about the Yin Iron,

Song was just passing by.

Moreover, we are not from any clans,

so we don't care much about bloodlines

but we cherish those with the same ambition.

We don't want to attach ourselves to any clan.

Now that Xue Yang has been arrested,

I believe that you will sentence him fairly.

As for the clans' conflict,

that's none of our business.

Exactly.

If you need us for the sake of the world one day,

we would not decline then.

It's good that you care less about bloodlines,

but cherish those who share ambitions.

Lan Zhan and I went out to a night hunt together

for the same reason.

Am I right, Lan Zhan?

A night hunt together?

Don't you dare go back to Lotus Pier!

You!

Where do you cultivate and how can we find you?

I cultivate in the Snow White Pavilion.

My master is Baoshan Sanren.

Baoshan Sanren.

Young Master Wei.

I'm so sorry.

I learned from Baoshan Sanren, but I'm the last one that got accepted.

So I only know that Cangse Sanren is the master's most favored student.

But I've never met her.

I didn't expect you to be my sister's son.

Yes.

We are the same age.

But seriously, you are my uncle.

I'm wondering when I can visit the Grand Master.

She lives freely without a fixed residence.

Moreover, accomplished students don't go back,

that is our tradition.

But Master will be happy

when she meets you.

Goodbye.

Goodbye.

See you next time.

Let's go.

Xiao Xingchen!

Don't forget me.

We are meant to meet again.

They're such decent people.

Their integrity is undeniable.

So is their elegance.

All right. Let's depart.

Oh, Meng Yao.

You must watch Xue Yang carefully.

Rest assured, Young Master.

Let's go.

Let's go?

UNCLEAN REALM

UNCLEAN REALM

This way.

UNCLEAN REALM

-One! -One!

-Two! -Two!

-Three! -Three!

These are newly deployed guards. Your brother set them up.

Clan Leader Nie strengthened the guard

after receiving the Wen Clan's message.

Message?

You must not know it yet,

Clan Leader Wen has sent messages lately.

All main clans have to choose an inner heir disciple

to accept indoctrination without delay.

Or...

Or what?

Or the Wen Clan will send people to take them.

All the main clans?

That means we are included.

The Lan Clan has lectures. They came up with the indoctrination.

Disciples from various clans all rush to the Lan's lecture,

while they send a force to take people for the indoctrination.

It's not accepting indoctrination.

It's being held as hostages.

Inner heir disciples...

But...

I'm the only inner heir disciple in the Nie Clan.

What should I do?

No way.

I have to ask my brother.

UNCLEAN REALM

Ask me what?

NIE MINGJUE NIE CLAN OF QINGHE

-Clan Leader. -Clan Leader.

This is Red Blade Master. He lives up to the name.

No wonder Huaisang is afraid of his brother most.

Huaisang,

what were you going to ask?

Nothing.

Young Master Jiang,

Young Master Wei.

Xichen told me that

the two young masters of Yunmeng are teenage heroes.

Now I see that, you deserve that reputation.

Wangji, is everything okay with your brother?

Than you for your concern.

He is all right.

He is the one?

Exactly.

Take him in.

Go.

Please.

UNCLEAN REALM

Xue Yang,

you are so malicious.

You should be cut into pieces.

I'll just execute him

since the Yin Iron is not on him.

Wait!

What?

Are you pleading for this scoundrel?

Clan Leader Nie, everything is unclear now.

It's not too late to kill him until we make it clear.

I thought there was no doubt about the cause.

Mingjue!

Clan Leader Nie.

If I'm really with the Wen Clan of Qishan,

then execute me.

I'm afraid the Nie Clan will have the same fate as the Chang Clan.

The Wen Clan has no humanity,

violating nature's will.

I am a just and frank man.

I fear nothing when I'm faced with sinners like you.

Clan Leader, don't be angry.

Xue Yang is not a threat,

but the Yin Iron is vital to several great clans.

Moreover,

Xue Yang is in our hands,

we can kill him anytime.

We can take the opportunity to ask where the Yin Iron is.

Wen Ruohan may not know that we have control over Xue Yang.

We can keep it a secret for a while.

If we find the Yin Iron in advance,

it's a big loss to Qishan.

Meng Yao is quite good with words.

What a smart guy.

He really is.

My brother values him so much.

Jin Guangshan really can't make use of such talent.

Meng Yao,

take him into the dungeon.

Watch him carefully and strengthen the guard.

Understood.

Come.

Get moving.

One!

Two!

Three!

Four!

Excuse me.

Stop!

Clan Leader Nie ordered

to guard the dungeon with more people over the next few days.

Please come with me to put him in custody.

Got it.

Sir, can you go with me now?

It's Clan Leader Nie's order.

Okay, Meng Yao.

You just have to deal with trifles

like greeting guests and cleaning the house.

It's not your job to arrange the force.

I know.

You are in charge of all the force's dispatches.

But...

guarding the dungeon is important.

Please don't make trouble with me.

If Red Blade Master were to punish me,

I wouldn't be able to take it.

Then go be by the master's side.

Go on!

A whore's son.

Don't forget who you are.

As far as we know,

all of the four Yin Iron shards

have appeared.

Technically, only the three.

No one had seen the one Xue Yang hid.

Who knows Xue Yang's background?

But...

his family name is Xue.

You mean, Xue Chonghai?

Xue Chonghai?

I'll tell you later.

You know?

Except for the one with Xue Yang,

the Wen Clan now has two Yin Iron shards,

Wen Chao exposed himself when he missed the first shot.

Wen Ruohan must continue acting as his character.

We are meant to have a serious battle with the Wen Clan.

Actually,

the problem can be solved

if we make the Yin Iron shard into a weapon

to counter the Wen Clan's Yin Iron.

It's easier said than done.

The great cultivator couldn't even repress it thousands of years ago.

The talented clan leader of Lan, Lan Yi, couldn't have done that either.

This is my advice to you,

as disciples of decent clans, don't try evil things.

So what do we do with this Yin Iron shard?

And does the Wen Clan know that you are at the Unclean Realm?

Wen Chao has followed us all the way,

have they found out that we took Xue Yang?

Will the Unclean Realm be in danger?

Wangji,

Xichen told me in the letter

that he found records of the Yin Iron in forbidden books.

Now you'd better take it to Gusu

to see if you can get rid of this problem.

Understood.

Captain.

Captain.

Son of a whore.

Young Master Wei.

Why are you here?

I got my liquor

and got lost on the way back.

Why don't you go to the feast?

I have to keep an eye on Xue Yang.

Thanks for your efforts.

This way.

JUESHAN HALL

The Qinghe's roof tiles are tougher than the ones in Gusu.

It's so rocky.

The world is a huge room,

I'll take the sky as my quilt,

and the ground as my matting.

JUESHAN HALL

Lan Zhan,

I'll sleep on your roof tonight.

Wei Ying,

I have to go.

Wei Wuxian.

That Wei Wuxian...

Where did he go again?

Where did you go last night?

No idea.

I was possibly drunk.

Come with me. Something happened.

What's wrong?

Do we have any other problem?

The Wen Clan is coming for us.

Go.

Second Young Master Wen, what brought you here?

Clan Leader Nie,

His Excellency was quite angry when he heard about the Yin Iron

and the massacre of the Chang Clan.

It was supposed to be left to His Excellency,

and shouldn't be interfered with

by some nameless clan randomly.

Clan Leader Nie,

I just came to deliver the message today

and give you a chance.

Hand over Xue Yang and the Yin Iron shard

and I will spare you

for exceeding your duties.

I'm afraid I can't obey that.

Nie Mingjue,

don't refuse a toast, only to drink a forfeit.

Good move!

Very well.

It seems that the Nie Clan of Qinghe

is going to stand with the evil Lan Clan of Gusu.

How exaggerated.

Now that you don't regret it,

I'll eradicate evil for His Excellency.

Huaisang, I must check on Xue Yang.

Meng Yao...

Kill them!

Fetch the guards in the dungeon to help us!

Jiang Cheng, go find Xue Yang.

I'll find Red Blade Master.

Oh, no! Xue Yang escaped.

What?

Meng Yao!

Not me.

It wasn't me.

It's not my fault.

It's not my fault.

Xue Yang killed him.

Watch out!

Meng Yao.

Stop.

Clan Leader Nie,

Qinghe is at the foot of Qishan.

Now you are under my feet.

Clan Leader Nie.

Mingjue.

Wen Chao.

It's the Nie Clan of Qinghe's territory.

Don't be so prideful.

Wei Wuxian, you do like meddling.

Since you are interested in the Lan's stuff...

Well,

let me tell you,

my brother has brought a fight against Gusu.

If Lan Wangji managed to go back to Gusu,

what do you think he would see?

Cloud Recesses in ruins!

Clan Leader Lan.

The three Yin Iron shards will be ours sooner or later.

You villain.

Nie Mingjue,

you offended the Wen Clan today for some tragic lad who hid the Yin Iron.

We haven't displayed our power for a long time.

So you, the main clans, don't remember how to respect us now?

I'll spare you today.

But if this happens again,

your Qinghe will be the next Cloud Recesses.

As for you,

Wei Wuxian,

my father said to let you go to Qishan.

I'm going to enjoy the time with you then.

Let's go.

Mingjue.

Huaisang,

bring Meng Yao before me.

Go.

BLADE'S HALL

Clan Leader, wait, please.

Please listen to my explanation.

What do you have to explain?

I had to do that.

Why did you have to?

Clan Leader.

You promoted me to Vice General.

But the Captain always looked down on me.

Insulting, beating, and humiliating me.

-So you killed him. -No.

Not because of that.

Looking down on me

or insulting me, I can take it.

But I can't...

But I can't take how he takes credit for what I've done.

Not only once.

Just now,

just a moment earlier, I saw him let go of Xue Yang.

I argued with him.

Every time he humiliated my mother, he said...

You are lying.

It's true.

All of my words are true.

Just a little credit.

Why do you care about vain honor so much?

I don't regret having met you in my life,

Red Blade Master.

Since you saved me today,

I won't harm you.

Go away.

It doesn't matter if you go to the Jin Clan or other places,

don't ever come back.

Clan Leader.

I am...

grateful for your kindness in adopting me.
