Take her fingerprints and confirm her identity.

Yes, sir.

- Please give me your hand. - No. I can't.

- Please excuse me. - What are you doing?

Just give me your hand. Please! Give me your hand!

- What are you doing? - Open your hand!

- We just need your fingerprints! - Let go of me!

- We need your fingerprints! - Let go of her!

Min Woo.

She's my wife. I'll take her with me.

If you can't take me with you, go by yourself.

But tell me where you are going

when you can.

You can't, Ji Hyuk. Please...

I said I can't do it here.

I'll take him to the mountains...

You just need to stab him with this syringe.

It's so simple! You'll be able to pay back all of your debt at once.

I'll take him to the mountains and bury him there!

Don't worry about it. Just be ready to pay me.

Boss, why are they suddenly telling us to kill Ji Hyuk?

When did we ever care about the why? We just do it for the money!

- I've grown to like him... - Like him? You moron.

Ji Hyuk!

- Why are you here? - We came because we were worried.

Did you finish him?

Why aren't you saying anything?

I can't do it. I mean, I won't do something like this.

What?

Fine. I've got it. Just get in the car and we'll talk on the way.

- Where are we going? - We need to get out of here!

Come on! Hurry and get in the car!

Get in. We'll talk on the way.

You can't, Ji Hyuk!

Run away from them! Right now!

That bastard!

Catch them!

Get them!

What are you doing here? Get a hold of yourself!

What about you? What are you doing, Sis?

Have you eaten yet?

It must have been so hard on you.

I thought you were dead. I thought you were dead.

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Mom...

is very ill.

What is it that you wanted to ask me?

There is something I want to confirm with you.

You want to break up my marriage, right?

You were against it from the beginning.

You think I will take over the company with the help of Eun Ha's family.

That's not it.

I told you, I don't care about the company.

Then why did you give me that fountain pen?

Didn't Seo Eun Ha give that pen to Suk Hoon?

Weren't you trying to create a rift between us?

- Do you trust Seo Eun Ha? - I do.

- Why? - I can tell when I look into her eyes.

Min Woo.

I no longer care whether your marriage ends or not.

It doesn't matter to me.

But...

I can't stand my marriage being affected by Seo Eun Ha.

You're aware of it too.

Suk Hoon and Eun Ha aren't just sister and brother-in-laws.

Are you just going to trust them? Like a fool?

Have you heard that you can see yourself reflected in someone else's eyes?

If you look carefully into another person's eyes

you can see your own reflection in them.

That's what the phrase refers to.

So?

Regardless of how near you are, if they avoid looking into your eyes

you can't see your reflection.

Sis.

Have you seen your own reflection in Suk Hoon's eyes?

Of course...

I've seen my reflection in Seo Eun Ha's eyes.

That's why I trust her.

Take this money and stay hidden. I'll take care of everything.

It's actually better this way. I've been trying to send you money.

Don't worry about it. I'll get money, and I'll take care...

Sis, you've lost your mind.

You've gone crazy. Stop whatever you're doing immediately and go home.

Do you know how hard Mom and Dad took your death?

I can't stop now. I just can't.

What are you doing? This is money! Money!

This is what I've come this far for. This...

Why aren't you in bed yet?

I was about to go to bed.

Suk Hoon.

If they avoid looking into your eyes, you can't see your reflection.

Sis, have you seen your own reflection in Suk Hoon's eyes?

Sure. I love you too.

[Episode 9 - My Own Reflection]

If you wear a mask, you can't ever be happy.

If you don't wear a mask, you can never survive.

Did you take care of everything?

Seo Eun Ha.

- I'll go wash up. - Are you all right?

You're the one who said we should help each other instead of using one another.

You said that will be easier for us.

You can't help me, Min Woo.

We can't help each other.

You knew about my mom's illness, right?

I already told you. She's in critical condition.

Then about my brother...

I know exactly where your brother is hiding.

I heard someone tried to kill him.

You can't let your beloved brother continue living in hiding.

I wonder how I could help you.

If you've fallen into quicksand.

You need to yell out for help instead of struggling by yourself.

Not to Min Woo, but to me.

If anything happens to my brother

I won't just stand by.

It's up to you whether something happens to your brother or not.

What is it that you want?

Min Woo.

You know as well as I do, Min Woo doesn't deserve what he has.

Drag Min Woo down. Then I'll guarantee your brother's safety.

Do you think I'm capable of doing that?

Of course. You'll end up dragging him down with your own hands.

Within three days.

What's in it for me?

Do you have something in mind?

Let me live my life as Seo Eun Ha.

Not as Byun Ji Sook, but as Seo Eun Ha.

Reactivate Seo Eun Ha's bank account.

We made a deal.

Don't pretend to be wearing a mask in front of me, Ms. Seo Eun Ha.

You can't fool me.

The saggy butt and thigh areas

will be lifted up by these pants!

They are called 'botox pants'! What do you think?

Director Choi?

Sir?

Director...

- Hey you. - What?

You were listening! So, these pants will change one's body line

and make it look like you're wearing corrective underwear.

Min Woo doesn't deserve what he has.

You're aware of it as well.

Drag him down. Then I'll guarantee your brother's safety.

- Stop dreaming. - About what?

He's out of your league! Don't you know Director Choi is married?

- I know. - So why do you keep flirting with him?

- That's not it. - Don't deny it. I can tell.

Don't play with fire!

What if his wife finds out? I heard she is very established.

She is! Especially in captivating men!

I heard she met so many different men.

Even after getting married, she still sees them.

Isn't that against the law?

I guess adultery isn't illegal anymore.

Come and see me, Ms. Seo Eun Ha.

- For what? - Something urgent came up.

See? There is something going on between them!

This is what we needed to take care of?

It seems like there is something wrong, but you won't tell me.

I can't stop thinking about it, so let's just eat first.

My head is filled with thoughts.

You brought me here because you know I like rice soup, right?

Seo Eun Ha. You're always so self-centered.

I brought you here because I wanted this.

Because it's delicious.

You're right. We should eat first.

We should tackle problems with a full stomach.

It's hot. Be careful.

I come here when I have a lot on my mind.

As I walk down this path, listening to the sounds of the wind and the birds

I feel much better. It also clears my head.

As I walk on this path, I sometimes wonder...

Those leaves shining in the sunlight.

Are they green or white?

Am I...

a lucky and happy person born as the heir to a CEO

or a miserable person fighting against my family to defend my position?

So what kind of person do you think you are?

I'm not really sure.

Perhaps...

I'm a person who just wants

to live a normal life with the woman I love.

What about you, Seo Eun Ha?

What kind of person are you?

I'll tell you some day.

Even after hearing what I say

if you still feel the same way then

we may perhaps be able

to live our lives together

normally and happily.

I can't believe our Ji Sook is driving this expensive car!

I'm so jealous!

Are you the owner of this car by chance?

- Yes. I am. - I'm so sorry.

While I was parking, I scratched your car.

I'll just pay you in cash instead of involving the insurance company.

This looks like an expensive car. How much should I pay you?

- It's fine. You can just go. - That won't do! I can't just go.

I always pay my debts! I pay what I owe and get what I deserve.

- That's how we keep the economy going! - I said it's fine.

Then once you figure out how much this will cost

call this number. I'll pay you within 10 minutes.

Who's this?

I can't remember, but you look so familiar!

Haven't we met at a department store by any chance?

I just can't remember!

Never mind. That woman is dead.

I'm sorry.

You just look so similar to someone I know.

Just contact me at this number.

Quickly.

Let's go.

He looks like an idiot. Give that to me. I'll throw it away.

That's okay, I'll throw it out. I'm going to go use the restroom.

Hello?

You're so scared! You called me right away.

You left the scene yesterday without even saying hello!

My feelings are hurt!

What do you want from me?

Ji Sook, we've known each other forever! How can you not know what I want?

All I ever want is money!

Clean and simple.

I'll pay you back by this month. I can promise you that.

- Obviously you should pay that back! - How much more do you want?

How much can you give me?

I want 300 million won in cash and by midnight today.

That is the price of your brother's life.

How am I going to get that much money?

If you can't, then whatever. I just need money, that's all.

I guess our poor Ji Hyuk will die because he doesn't have 300 million won.

You know I'm not kidding, right?

Fine. I'll bring the money to you no matter what.

All right. Check your closet or fridge at home.

I heard that's where rich people hide their money in stacks!

You can guarantee Ji Hyuk's safety, right?

Of course!

This will let me figure out how much more you can pay me in the future!

What am I going to do with all that money?

I'm so excited just thinking about it!

Can I withdraw 300 million won in cash right now?

This account has been closed for withdrawal.

[Brother-in-law]

- You want to sell all of these? - Yes.

How much are they worth?

Let's see. We'll have to look more closely.

But we could probably pay you around 50 million won.

- They are only worth that much? - They're used.

I see...

You must have an appointment. You don't have anything planned in the afternoon.

We made a promise, but I don't know if she was lying or not.

She needs my help, but she's not asking me for help.

She's running out of time.

So you're telling me you need 300 million won?

I want the share that I was supposed to get for our marriage in cash right now.

- That was part of our deal. - And you can't tell me what it's for?

All right. I'll give you the cash right now.

- Is there something else you need? - I'll pay you back no matter what.

You don't have to.

Like you said, it was part of our deal for this marriage.

For helping me out...

as well as trusting me and waiting for me...

I'll repay you for everything someday.

What are you doing?

All of this money! Money!

Honey, please get some rest! You must!

Please!

Where have you been all night? Your mom is ill!

Have you eaten? If you haven't, I'll fry you a fish.

Mom, get treated. I have enough money.

Ji Hyuk.

Stop being stubborn and making things hard for me and Dad.

Just get treated and get better. That's how you can help us.

What should we do? You need five million won more.

Should I sell this watch?

Why are you looking at me like that?

Honestly, I thought you would have tons of money.

Beyond my imagination. But seeing you like this...

You look very human. Very.

- Chang Soo. Do you have any money? - What?

- How could I? - You got paid last week.

As you know, I already put that into my savings account.

- I'll pay you back. - Pardon?

I'll pay you interest and everything. Withdraw it and lend it to me.

- But I just can't... - You'll let me borrow it, right?

Oh my, Seo Eun Ha. What are you doing here?

I'm meeting someone.

Meeting someone? You should be at work!

Are you meeting with Director Choi?

Mr. Choi Min Woo!

I'm the Seoul District Public Prosecutor, Yang Huk Joon.

I'm investigating the death of Kim Jung Tae.

Please, come with me.

What's in your hand? Can I take a look?

Don't touch me!

Mr. Choi Min Woo!

Whose money is this?

Come with us and we will talk.

It's the money he's lending me.

I will testify.

Don't touch him.

Why did you have three hundred million in cash on you?

Was it the lobby funds from the late Kim Jung Tae?

Are you aware that he committed suicide?

What do you think about the fact that he killed himself...

because of the breach of contract by SJ Group?

Please answer, Choi Min Woo!

Was the money from the late Kim Jung Tae?

How did you know that I was there?

Who told you that?

Just answer my questions.

You were getting a bribe from him regularly, correct?

Don't say anything, Min Woo.

You don't have to.

I'm Attorney Min.

Did you arrest him with an warrant?

He was asked here for questions...

And he came voluntarily.

Did you inform him that he had the right to refuse?

Don't you know it's illegal to bring him without his consent?

If you need to investigate, go through the proper procedures.

Let's go, Min Woo.

He's here.

Min Woo, are you okay?

- Get the car ready. - Yes, sir.

- Min Woo. - Let's talk later.

He's still a little shaken, huh?

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

I would've resolved it right away.

I will give you a ride.

It's not safe for a woman to carry a lot of money alone.

You killed Kim Jung Tae, didn't you?

Well...

I was told that a drug overdose killed him.

If not

your brother could have killed him.

What?

What did you just say?

This is a needle with your brother's fingerprints.

There is evidence everywhere that he was at Kim Jung Tae's place.

This is crucial evidence. What should I do?

Should I hand this over to the Prosecution?

Or should I throw it away?

You decide.

After hearing that Kim Jung Tae was dead

what was the first thing you thought of?

Was it sadness about your old friend's death?

Or...

were you relieved that your secret was now safe?

You told me that you and I weren't that different.

So don't look at me like that.

I feel like I'm a bad person.

What do you mean you were questioned by the police?

There was some misunderstanding.

They were saying he received a bribe from Geumyoung Construction...

Explain yourself.

What was the three hundred million in cash about?

What was it related to the death of the Vice President of Geumyoung?

He was trying to give me that money.

Something urgent came up, and I needed the cash.

I asked him for it.

- Three hundred million in cash? - For what?

I wasn't trying to give it to her.

I had to help someone, so I was trying to lend it.

I got it from my personal bank account.

And...

about his death...

It's not his fault. The investigation is still ongoing.

It might not be a suicide.

It has nothing to do with you, correct?

It does?

What a loser.

Is this it?

You wanted to bring Min Woo down.

This is only the beginning.

I told you that you'll be the one who will bring him down.

What you need to do is simple.

In the room that only he has access to...

you need to plant this book.

- What is it? - It's a book, as you can see.

It's a very special book, that can save your brother.

I will give you until midnight tomorrow.

It's hard for me to see you agonize over this.

Between your brother and Min Woo.

You make the decision.

Between your brother and Min Woo.

You make the decision.

Are you okay?

Did someone really die because of me?

No, it was because of me.

It wasn't because of you.

What do you mean it was because of you?

Do you know something about this case?

Are you okay?

You also knew the late Kim Jung Tae.

Secrets and pain usually go hand in hand.

Shall I tell you one of my secrets?

The reason why you fell into the pool and were sent to the emergency room...

I don't remember what you said at that moment.

But...

I remember trying to strangle you.

I wanted to tell you before the wedding, but...

it's taken me this long to tell you.

Please leave. I want to be alone.

Are you going to continue to watch me like that?

I already feel pathetic enough...

- Min Woo. - Yes?

Are you a strong person or weak one?

What kind of boy is afraid of water?

It's just water! Plain water!

You're a loser!

I'm not weak.

I'm not weak.

I'm not weak.

Min Woo.

If you want to know if this is real or a dream

this is real.

Are you feeling better?

Do you know how shocked I was?

I cleaned up a little.

I thought you'd say it was messy when you woke up.

I brought some clothes for you to change into.

Who put this gown on me?

Oh my, he's my husband.

I will do it.

Well, the nurses did it.

- They are professionals, you know. - Oh, that's true.

I brought some porridge.

Get better, so we can go home.

Well, if it's too hot to eat or...

you have no energy to hold the spoon

I might be able to help.

- Ouch. - Don't ever do that again.

What am I supposed to do without you?

Hurry up and eat, so you can have some apple too.

Fruit is supposed to do wonders.

After you hit me, you're asking me to eat now?

If I have no energy to hold the spoon or...

it's too hot to eat

how would you help me?

That's exactly how I feel now.

Give it to me.

You just spit.

- I did not spit. - I saw it.

- I definitely did not spit! - You spit again.

Gosh, don't eat then.

So, do you admit that you spit?

Don't you think my spit might help your immune system?

Not at all.

- What brings you here? - What do you mean?

I was worried, so I came to see you.

Eun Ha, you can go home.

I will be with him.

- I have to peel these apples. - I will peel them for him.

You need to go to work too.

It will not look good if you miss work too.

You don't want people to find out who you really are.

Don't do that, Eun Ha...

Well, I think he's right.

I will go straight to work. I have work to do, anyway.

I will see you later then.

I almost forgot.

I've been meaning to give it to you since yesterday.

It's a brochure and tickets for a concert.

You said your nanny was sick, so...

why don't you go spend some time with her?

[100 million won]

What's the real reason you are here?

I already told you, I was worried about you.

Your family thinks that you slipped and fell into the pool last night.

- And? - I know that's not true.

When your wife fell into the pool last time

honestly, I think it was you who did that.

That's why I'm worried.

Not only your wife but also my wife...

my other family members could be in danger, too.

Honestly

I want you to get hospitalized and on treatments.

You want me to be hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital, huh?

Before you hurt your loved ones...

A lot of cash was falling out of Director Choi's suitcase.

- Where do you think that money is from? - So...

You're saying that money was from Geumyoung Construction?

Bingo!

That's why he was finding fault with Geumyoung for no reason.

Miss Lee, that's sharp.

What do you mean that is sharp?

When Director Choi already has so much money

why would he take a bribe?

Mi Yeon.

You're saying that because you don't know how those people work.

People with money tend to want even more.

It's sort of the law of inertia.

Gosh, I feel sorry for the one who killed himself.

No matter how bad it was

why did he go to such an extreme?

That's not who Director Choi is.

You have no idea.

If she continues to have crush on him

she will end up getting hurt.

[100 million won]

Why do you think Min Woo jumped into the pool?

Where he belongs is in a hospital, not at work.

You're doing what's best for him now.

Mom is very sick.

[100 million won]

[100 million won] This is not a small amount of money.

How can we possibly spend this not knowing where it came from?

Mom, please.

Cat got your tongue? Say something.

Just...

get the treatment.

It's not important to argue about where the money is from at this point.

Even you?

Ji Hyuk, you got a loan, didn't you?

- Didn't you? - No, I didn't.

If not, how could you possibly get so much money so fast?

You even brought some crumbled cash last night.

Did you steal that money?

I'm saying I didn't.

If I tell you where I got this money from

will you get the treatment?

I will tell you everything.

Actually...

Ji Sook gave it to me.

What was I thinking?

Where did Seo Eun Ha go?

Gosh, she was pretending that she was working hard by herself.

Gosh, why is this office so boring?

Oh my!

Oh my, he's so cute.

Gosh, he's not my type, but...

Hi, hon. I'm on my way.

I'm almost there.

What you need to do is simple.

In the room that only he has access to...

you need to plant this book.

Don't you know by now?

Where he belongs is in a hospital, not at work.

Why do you think he jumped into the pool?

Why do you think Seo Eun Ha died?

If this continues, he will end up killing someone else.

He will eventually end up killing himself too.

It's obvious that he has a problem.

Do the right thing, as his caring wife.

You're doing what's best for him now.

Seo Eun Ha.

[List of Suspects]

[Contract for construction]

Choi Min Woo gave the work to Kim Jung Tae separately.

What were you doing in there?

Answer me.

I asked you what were you doing in there!

Subtitles by DramaFever

Do I look weird to you?

You feel sorry for me so you want to help?

Are the sleeping pills really Min Woo's?

- You want him to be hospitalized? - If not, he will be sent to jail.

There will a shareholders' meeting.

They plan to dismiss you from your position.

Half of Min Woo's shares will go to you, and the remaining half will come to me.

We had a deal, so it's good.
