(SIREN WAILING)
NARRATOR: The giant machinery of the law is put into motion
as news of the daring escape is flashed over the police telephone system.
Police radio cars swing into action.
The city is combed for a trace of the escaped convict.
The typewriter's clicking, the newspapers take up the hue and cry
as the mighty presses grind out extras,
their screaming headlines proclaiming the sensational news,
"'Killer' escapes from Alcarazz Prison!"
A manhunt is on!
While in another part of the town,
in an abandoned school for girls out near the city limits,
hidden from prying eyes, a gangster's arsenal
well-stocked with all the deadly weapons of modern warfare,
machine guns, tear gas, sawed-off shotguns, bombs, blackjacks
and other lethal weapons.
And in another room in the secrecy of their hideout...
No jail can hold the chief.
Yeah, the guy is clever, just like Houdonny.
He can get out of anything.
That's a good picture of the chief. He looks just like Clark Taylor.
Yeah, but it don't look natural.
There ain't no numbers on him.
(KNOCKING)
- Who's there? - Who's there?
I got a message from the Killer, boys.
Open up and let me in, will you?
What message did the Killer send, sweetie pie?
He said...
(IN MANLY VOICE) Not to fool around with dames, you lugs!
Let that learn you a lesson!
Some publicity, huh?
Once I was only Public Enemy Number 9.
Now I'm at the top!
Hey, what's this?
The guy looks just like me.
He could be me twin brother.
Hey, yous guys, come here!
I got an idea.
We go to the bank, get this guy and then...
(WHISPERING)
NARRATOR: The evildoers carefully plan another hideous crime.
Oh, Porky.
(STUTTERING) Yes, Miss Petunia.
How about you and I stepping out tonight, big boy?
Gee, Miss Petunia, I'm bashful.
You're so pretty, and I'm...
(BELL RINGING)
It's time for lunch. Goodbye.
May I help you, madam?
Would you be so kind?
It won't take a minute.
It's almost fixed.
- Now it's in the bag. - (IN MANLY VOICE) So are you!
NARRATOR: The Killer adds kidnapping to his already long list of diabolical crimes.
And with your sissy clothes on, I can rob the bank.
And you'll take the rap, see?
(LAUGHING)
Now I look like the squirt!
So long, squirty-wirty!
(LAUGHING)
NARRATOR: Wearing Porky's clothes to hide his identity,
Public Enemy Number 1 returns to the bank.
(WHISTLING)
WOMAN: Put my jewels in the safe, Porky.
MAN: Deposit this in my account, Porky.
WOMAN 2: Porky, put this in my safe deposit vault.
MAN 2: Please deposit this, Porky.
Oh, Porky.
(BRASHLY) Yeah, what is it?
(IMITATING PORKY) Yes, what is it?
How about you and I stepping out tonight, big boy?
Why wait until tonight, baby?
- Why, you're not Porky Pig! - So what?
(ALARM RINGING)
(GUNS FIRING)
NARRATOR: After looting the bank, the Killer speeds back to the hideout.
Easy pickings, huh, boys?
And they think you did it!
(KILLER LAUGHS)
Jiggers, the cops!
They got me!
Who's the Killer?
- I'm Porky! - I'm Porky!
Come on, now, who's the Killer?
- (STUTTERING) I'm Porky! - I'm Porky!
Just a minute, Chief.
I'll find out.
How about you and I stepping out tonight, big boy?
- (STUTTERING) Gee, Miss Petunia, I'm... - That's Porky.
How that Killer can kiss!
I still take the Killer.
Come on, big boy, I'll wait till you get out.
That's all folks!
