This make his papa very sad,
and also very mad.
He tell Jose he gonna throw big fiesta with all the girls in the district,
and Jose better pick out the wife.
The beauty parleros were all crowded with women.
They are making beautiful their faces.
Now it comes the night of big fiesta,
and the wicked strapmother and her daughters make themself dainty.
They was all dressed up in latest fashion from Madrid.
Poor Senorella. She was left all alone with the bugs.
Suddenly a voice say, "Ole!"
It was her fairy godmother.
She tell Senorella she gonna fix her up to go to the fiesta, too.
First she take an old wagon, and presto,
(EX CLAIMS) it's a first-class coach.
Next, she change the cucarachas.
Zap! They turn into burros!
Then it's Senorella 's turn. Zap!

With glass huaraches, size four and five-eighths.
Her fairy godmother say,
"When the church bell chime midnight, come home pronto.
"Now, vamos! Yah, mules, yah!"
At the fiesta, there was mucho music, laughter and cha-cha-cha.

Now they have to look for girl with four and five-eighths foots.
Senoritas comes from all over to have the foots measured.
But nothing fits.
At last they come to wicked strapmother's door.
But she don't want Senorella to win, so she gots rid of her.
Then her daughters try their luck, but the toes, they come unglued.
And the other ones just wouldn't fit.
But wait! What's this? A foot! Ole!
It fits the feet. Could this be her?
(GRUNTS)
