We're always excited

to have so many locums come through here.

So many see our mountains and lakes,

and decide to just stay.

There's so much opportunity here.

And of course, as you know, as a locum,

you can work on an on-call
or part-time basis.

There's really a lot of choice for you.

And I do have a note here

that you've been practicing
as a locum for seven years.

Is that correct?

In Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick,

Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta,
mostly small towns, yes?

And there have been some issues.

- I've been treated intermittently

for the past three years for PTSD.

- And you're still receiving treatment?

- Intermittently.

- Forgive me, Dr. Terringer,
I don't want to distress you,

but can you explain the PTSD to me?

- Five years ago, I was visiting
St. Joseph's Middle School

in Frederickton, New Brunswick.

It was career day.

And my nephew asked me to
come speak to his class

about how I was becoming a doctor.

- I will say I've struggled.

at 8:00 AM sharp to your clinic.

And then at 6:00 PM that night

to the Creston Valley Hospital
and Dr. Kurt Franklin.

He's the chief of staff.
He's a really great guy.

doctors while they're sick,

away on stress leave.

- Great.

- Oh, there's a great
chemistry department there too.

You could always come. Ms.

- Okay, great. Can I come to
your place for dinner tonight?

- Sure.

Yeah, well, you're the one

that says you don't wanna
get stuck in a small town.

- We talk constantly, or
haven't you noticed that?

So you're considering it?

It's real mild.

It's like a super sophisticated molly,

but there's hardly any psychedelic in it.

Well, it's not exactly true,

but it's all controlled chemicals.

There's something similar
to it on the market,

but it's a lot more
dangerous, or so I've heard.

But this I created based
off an old hallucinogen

from the '70s. Exophoria.

It's kinda like a deep meditation.

I mean, yeah, you can share
it with either somebody else

or just by yourself.

And it gets you really into your head.

- Because it'll help you with
your work as a scientist.

like share your thoughts

of where we're at very soon.

has been experimenting drugs

of some kind.

He's always been into chemistry
ever since he was little.

his room for pills or powder.
