>> Thomas: Yeah, she pushed me

and I could've pressed charges,

hoping that she would see--

I could forgive, and then maybe

she could forgive me, you know,

for keeping the secret

about Beth, but it's like

her hatred for me just grew.

>> Steffy: I-I still

don't understand why you let

Hope think you were dead.

>> Thomas: To prove a point.

Look, I kept a secret, and it's

something that I-I regret,

but Hope kept one, too.

When she didn't go to Dad

or to the police when she

found out what she thought

she had done to me,

she finally realized

how it felt,

to realize that good people

make bad decisions,

and that doesn't mean that

they're bad people.

It just means that

they're human.

>> Steffy: So you did this

still move forward,
