During the proceeding

I would like to include the medical testimony from the expert witness

Is there a connection between alcohol and heart disease?

It is very dangerous

No further questions

You smelly, yellow bitch!

Objection

Counsel is insulting the court and the expert witness

How do you feel, if you stand naked in front of strangers?

Honestly, I would be extremely terrified

If it is extreme, could this trigger a sudden heart attack

Yes

Your honor

I haven't submitted the evidence yet

Since I haven't used up all my time, can you allow me to play?

Show the videotape for five minutes

Thank you

This is the routine procedure

S-Mart exercised, to a person after getting caught after stealing

S-Mart claimed that the same routine is practiced by all their stores.

As you see,

there is no derogatory comments, strip searching, nor physical abuse

If Susan Williams was searched in a very standard manner, like they strongly insist,

Why wouldn't they show the security video of Susan Williams?

If Susan Williams was treated unfairly out of the routine procedure

And there is no other reason but her being black

Hey, you were home

Oh, yea

What about the others?

They should be home as well

Both winners and losers alike should be home

Is it okay if the man of the night is left out?

Me? Haha... no...

I just wanted to be alone

Sorry, I didn't know

Sorry about the harsh words in court today

When did you even learn such words?

It's not like you've been in the US that long

You were great

I thought you were just a loser but you proved me wrong

A loser?

Yep

Let's head out

What's the point of staying here by yourself. I'll buy you a drink

Really?

Why are you alone?

Want to know how it was from an expert's perspective?

You were much better out there. I mean it

Defeat may be bitter, but it's a life lesson nonetheless

Aren't you going to invite me home tonight?

I have reason to accept

Sorry

You went all out tonight

Champagne eh? From the world class scrooge

It was 15 bucks. You know I went all out right?

You can always meet a rich man

Not tonight

I have a previous engagement

Me neither

I have to be by you tonight

Um... About Seul Ki.

Seul Ki? What about her

Are you sure nothing's going on between you two?

Of course not....

Are you jealous?

No~~~

- You were! - No!

I guess $10 not enough for a motel room

I wonder how far this'll go

Going for another touchdown?

I'm not that easy

Man, you gave up so easily

How pathetic

I am a dirt poor medical school student

I am a foreign law school student who can't speak english

But I still have confidence

Me too!

And I am thankful

... for all the happiness in my life

I can pay my tuition by working at a bar as well as the dormitory

When my studies are over, I have friends that look for me

South America, Africa. The sick I have yet to meet are waiting for me

And all those people are my friends

Like Brad

Like Susan Williams

You will graduate and become a lawyer, Hyun Woo

You will graduate and become a doctor, Soo In

You must graduate and achieve your dreams, Hyun Woo

You must graduate and achieve your dreams, Soo In

When I was 11, my mother took me to the US

and met my current stepfather and got remarried

Because my father passed away...

He committed suicide

The small company he was running was pummeled by a large corporation

Hyun Woo's father... he was the one who pushed my father to suicide

He was the lawyer for the large corporation

What are you doing?

I wanted to have a drink with you

I really wanted to win today

No, I had belief in myself

You know, when you become aware that something out there is helping you out

In today's mock trial, Susan's mother waved to me

That's when my belief solidified

That I could win

Don't judge me with what happened today

I won't lose again

You two were both great

There were no losers today

No

I lost

I lost despite the fact it was favorable for my side

That's right

You lost. You crumbled

You like Soo In, right?

Of course

Me too

I won't lose to you again

Psht. I doubt that'll happen

Someone up there already knows of our relationship

Want to play ball?

The rules are just like last time. If I score even once, you give up Soo In

Okay?

Okay!

Let's go

Come at me!

What are you doing?

You can have ball first

-Let's Go -Come on!

Care to go on?

Of course. The stakes are too high to give up

Attack the basket!

Attack the basket!

Hey, no screaming. I'm going

You saw that right?

I scored!

I definitely scored!

Give her up!

Immaturity or Corniness? Were you really willing to bet love on a simple game?

Of course! You lost!

Hey, I put one in there. It was clean. Everyone knows about it! Give up!

Hey, you saw it right?

I scored!

He knows it!

I put in this really nice clean shot

I scored! Man that bastard

What was so important that you needed to interrupt my morning exercise?

I apologize

Please, go on

About last night...

When you said you were conservative, I guess you meant a jerk

You needed company last night and I needed man

Since we both got what we needed was it necessary for you to come here?

I don't like to have stuff drag on

Do you have anything else to say?

No

We have your exam data ready. Take it with you

We don't let go of an investment before it pays off

KIM HYUN WOO

Hey you're up?

I'm Sorry

Man she's being a bitch these days

I mean, she eats the most and creates the most mess in the bathroom as well

And on top of that she bitches like hell

Don't mind about her

Sorry. I'll take care of the rest so you should go

No, no, no. I'll serve you something good

It's Korean Soup

You want some kimchi soup right?

Should I go buy some?

Don't worry about it

- Hey - Um...

- Come here - What?

I won't get in your way again

Huh?

Just relax and do it

Do what?

Touchdown

Oh, Go. See you~

Sorry. I forgot to brush my teeth

Just a sec..

Forgot to what?

Hey, Soo In

I really don't mind....

I really dont

Soo In?

Are you done?

Soo In?

Soo In, are you done yet?

Yea, just a sec

I'm going in

I'm really going in

Here I go

What the hell are you doing?

I was just looking around the bathroom

See Soo In?

Yep

When?

I told you yesterday. Give up!

Move, let me use it

No

I need to use this for now

I think it may take a long time

Use the one in 1st floor

I'll..

I'm late

Hyun Woo?

Hey, you're here?

Don't worry about me. I'll just wait for you to finish up

It's a take-Home-Exam, so don't worry about me

I just got here. We should talk later

No. I'll wait for you

Then, tell me now. You said you're in the middle of taking a test

I'm not just going to wait for you to come to me. I'm going to make you mine

I thought this story was over. I...

Yea. I know you don't have the time

You'll also be leaving for South America soon. It doesn't matter

You're going to have to put up with me frequently from now on

It'll all be in vain.

Whatever you do... It won't be you

So don't even try...

Is it Hyun Woo?

Is it?

What happened?

Have you called 911?

Please, help me

How long has he been like this?

Where's the ambulance?

Hey. Can you bring me a knife and a bit of whiskey as well?

What the hell are you doing?

Does anyone have a pen or straw?

I need something that is thin and tube-Shaped

What are you trying to do?

He's going to die!

They called 911!

It'll be too late. If he's oxygen deprived for 10 minutes, he'll die

You're not a doctor! You're a student!

What will you do if something happens?

I'll take my chances with it

I can't let him die like this

I'll do it like I learned

Practicing medicine without a license is a crime!

His life comes first

No. You can't do this

He'll be all right. Don't worry about it

How's the patient

Yes

It was an urgent case. We could not help but...

I just heard that you called me

Yes

Yes

But.... It was urgent

I'll take full responsibility

Here's my stuff

I have a date later

Come out for a sec

How is that a problem?

I mean, he could've died if she didn't do it

She's not a doctor yet.

It's illegal to practice medicine without a license

Soo In might get disciplined

She'll be lucky if she's just disciplined

If the patient dies, they won't just leave her alone

She might take the blame for everything

Where is Soo In?

She's at the medical school

How can you possibly leave a girl in that state alone?

You cold bastard

Hey! Uh...

Hi

You're also...

Excuse me. Have you seen an Asian girl around here?

Soo In, Lee!

I can't do anything besides just wait here

There is nothing for me to do

What are you talking about?

I'm being disciplined. I can't even attend class

It was my fault

That doesn't even make sense

You were trying to save his life. How could that be wrong?

I would have done the same thing

Did you eat?

Let's go home

The reason I'm like this is because I hesitated

I wondered what would have happened to me if something went wrong

Even though each second was precious I was calculating the risks

If I didn't hesitate, wouldn't he be okay?

If I did this even a few seconds earlier....

That's what I'm afraid of

Let's go

You said you wanted some kimchi soup right?

I'll go make you some

It's times like these that you need to be strong

Let's stuff ourselves

Three servings?

Four servings, okay?

Hey, Soo In....

No matter what happens inbetween, it'll all end well

Believe that

Remember Brad? I'm sure he's in heaven

It's a happy ending, right?

Okay?

Okay...

Hey, welcome home

Hey, I made some kimchi soup

Here's a spoon. Everyone's studying at the library. Eat

It's delicious

What happened to the patient?

Hey, stop it with the patient

Man, it's a bit salty

What's that?

Logs of medical trials?

The patient's family may sue you

I looked for cases that might help you out

Find anything?

Not yet

Aren't you both supposed to be taking a test?

I appreciate the offer, but don't do it

I don't want you guys to fail your exams because of me

Wow, it's really good

Have a bite

Hey...

Thanks

I really can't hate you

Hey, Soo In. Sorry I can't be together because of the exam

I'll stay with you for a long time later

Good night

'Nite

I have to know how he's doing

Seul Ki! Seul Ki!

Oh, you're here

Let me borrow your car

But you're in the middle of an exam....

I need to use it right now, Let me get your keys

I'm getting supicious

About what?

Are you dating another woman or something?

I don't have the time...

You don't even know where the car is

Where is it?

In the parking lot of the dormitory

Thanks, Seul Ki

Oppa, once you're done with exams, let's go to New York

We'll see a broadway musical

Let's talk about it later

I'll make an appointment. Don't make any plans

Go inside and sleep tonight.

At this rate, you're gonna be in the hospital as well

Here, come to my car

Let's go get some shut-Eye

Damn batteries

Hello?

Yes. I'm her friend

What?

You're up?

Where are we?

You're a heavy sleeper

Where are we?

I'm not sure

I just wanted to see the beach

Man, it's been a while since I last saw the ocean

How long has it been for you?

Let's go back

Since we're here, let's relax a bit

You think I'll be able to enjoy this view?

Because of me, a person's life is in danger

Because of me

That man.... if he doesn't come out his coma, my life is over as well

Ever since my mother died when I was 12,

I've never wavered from my dream of becoming a doctor

Even though I barely had time to study

I did all sorts of stuff to earn money

I was not only called stingy, but frightening

I clung at life by the edges

And in an instant, my life becomes ruined

What do I do?

I guess even God realized how desperate you were

Tell me. What is it?

He regained consciousness

Really?

Why didn't you say it earlier?

You didn't give me a chance

Is it finished?

Yes. Something wrong?

I like handwriting

You weren't home nor at the library last night.

Anything happen?

Yea. I was just...

I heard the patient woke up

Yea. Thanks for your concern

Why should you be thankful?

Because she's my girlfriend. Of course I should be thankful

Thanks for all you've done so far

I'll take care of everything from here, so just keep to your studies

Want to go for a drink?

Sorry. I need to see my father-In-Law. Later

What do you mean?

The patient decided to sue Soo In,

and we are the law firm they chose to be represented by

What does this have to do with me?

I heard you were at the scene

Even if it's the same situation, depending on the witness, the outcome can differ

You know what you have to do right?

What are you doing?

I need to talk to Mr. Yoo

- You can tell me - I'll talk to him

Jung Min!

What's the reason you decided to take the case?

It was decided by the firm

That's why I'm telling you this

This is a case you shouldn't be taking!

I'm the one who decided to do so

I'm the one who met the patient's parents and convinced them to file the suit

It's about Soo-In. You know her, don't you?

I misjudged you.

Are you really going to let your personal emotions get in the way of this?

Our law firm took a big hit due to the results of the mock trial

Because you lost the case at a mock court

Our law firm's pride was dented

What does this have to do with the case?

The defendent in this case will not be Soo In, but Harvard Medical School

I feel sorry for Soo In,

but we need to reconstruct our damaged reputation with this opportunity

There was never anyone who filed a lawsuit against Harvard before

However, we will win this

Even if we lose, it's advantageous for our law firm

Our law firm isn't the only thing whose reputation needs to be rebuilt.

Yours needs to be as well

Don't disappoint me this time

I'll see you in the conference room when you're ready

Don't disappear on me like last time

I understand

Soo In! Come here!

What does your father like?

Father?

Yea, my father-In-Law

Man, that was embarassing...
