(Flower Crew)

Sir, do you need this?

Place it outside.

- Tae Soo. - Yes?

Go outside and help Tak Soo.

All right.

You still have a mild fever.

You should rest.

Everyone knows now because of me.

Isn't that why you're moving?

But this is such a great location.

Wherever the best matchmaker in Joseon goes...

becomes the best location.

Yes, of course, it is, Mr. Matchmaker.

Here. Make your choice.

Where do you think would be the best location?

I say...

this place.

I'm studying hard these days.

Guten Morgen.

What's the use of learning that strange language?

Who knows?

We might someday get clients from Deokguk.

(Deokguk: An old name for Germany)

Emergency! Emergency!

Matchmaker Ko has disappeared.

He left this note behind.

Go out and look for him.

Thank you for everything.

Please don't look for me.

He has nowhere to go. Where could he be?

Let's scatter and look for him.

I don't want to.

After all the trouble I went through to get my brother back...

Young Soo almost killed my brother!

Gae Ttong.

I don't care whatever happens to him.

Leave me out of this.

Will you look for him?

Don't worry.

I'm sure he's hanging around some fabric shop somewhere.

I know Hanyang like the back of my hand, remember?

That lady's name is not Yun Su Yeon.

She is that slave's sister, Gae Ttong.

Who cares what happens to him?

I'm not going to look for him even if you smile like that.

Never.

Hey, kid.

Are you following me?

Are you going to keep following me around?

Sit down.

You look cleaner now.

I'm not clean.

That doesn't matter.

You will be.

People will raise an eyebrow if you go around looking like this.

Wash up...

and change into those clothes.

Do I look weird,

mister?

You sure do.

I think I'll change back.

Everyone is a little weird.

That's what makes everyone interesting.

You seem to know how to dress well.

Don't you think it smells nice?

That's impossible.

A nice person in nice clothes,

of course, smells nice.

A man called Ko Young Soo...

has left this small country behind with a globe in his hand.

He's not expected to set foot in Joseon again.

Would you like to be Ko Young Soo?

Yes.

Welcome, Young Soo.

The person behind all this is that girl.

We were all fooled by that girl.

Young Soo.

What did I do with these hands?

Chil Nom.

It's time to go home now.

Please spare my life.

Please.

Have mercy on me.

I didn't do anything wrong.

I didn't kill him.

Even if Prince Yeonwoo is back,

there is no justification for dethroning the king.

Why not?

A lowly blacksmith managed to ascend the throne...

and tried to make his vulgar fiancee the queen.

In doing so, he deceived the whole country.

Still, the matter of public sympathy remains.

We need to win public sympathy first.

Public sympathy is not won.

It is created.

Give me one.

I want one too.

Attention.

Simply spread what's written on the paper far and wide,

and the money is yours.

Here we go!

Finally, the King proposes to the lady.

I love you.

I'll make you the queen.

Your Majesty.

How could I, of humble birth, possibly become the queen?

I will do anything for you.

Is the King seriously trying...

to make that lowly girl the queen?

Because of that lowly wench,

- we're having a bad harvest year. - You're right.

This is why Prince Yeonwoo should've been the next king.

Keep your voice down.

What if the people find out about this?

- That wench! - My goodness.

How on earth could they find out...

when they are nothing but ignorant?

No one will know.

All you need to do is sit on the queen's position.

My lady, that's the guy from the courtesan house.

Please give me the whole world, Your Majesty.

Don't worry, my dear. This world is all yours.

Is there something wrong, my lady?

No matter how angry I was with him,

he's never averted his eyes from me.

When will you ever pack all these and move them?

I'd better give you a hand.

Stay still.

The way things are turning out seems quite suspicious.

What do you mean?

The people say that the King of lowly birth...

deceived the whole country just to give a humble girl...

the queen's seat.

That His Majesty isn't meant to be the king,

but Prince Yeonwoo is.

Is Soo...

I mean, is His Majesty all right?

Those must be complaints in regards to my birth.

At Sungkyunkwan,

the scholars are protesting due to this matter.

(Sungkyunkwan scholars protest by leaving the school grounds.)

I heard rumors in the street...

that a child of lowly birth...

was seated on the throne.

And on the day Gae Ttong fainted,

a few dozen royal servants witnessed...

that I called her Gae Ttong.

Your Majesty.

Please don't let it bother you.

This was all plotted by the Second and Chief State Councillors.

I already know.

Are there any movements?

Prince Yeonwoo...

has returned from Qing.

Since then, the Second and Chief State Councillors...

have been mobilizing their private troops in secret.

It seems that...

There will be treason.

Summon the Second and Chief State Councillors to court.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Just leave it.

Yes, my lady.

It is said that...

the voice of the people is the voice from on high.

That's why we need to make this right.

You're right.

A lot of guests have been visiting our place lately.

That's right. Not only did lords pay a visit...

but even clowns and peddlers also came in.

It seemed like they were asked to do some work.

We're sick and tired of serving those guests.

Clowns?

The troops from the country will arrive soon.

Then it will be the day of the final queen selection process.

Your Majesty.

You were so desperate to marry her.

However, I don't see it happening this time again.

Young Master!

What brought Flower Crew's head...

who can even turn a lowly girl into a noble lady...

all the way here?

I heard the poison Lady Ma used to harm Lady Yun...

was from wolfsbane.

That's the flower...

you often put in the medicine for your illness.

(An illness caused by the cold and damp energy)

What a coincidence.

Well, the root of wolfsbane is usually used for medicine,

but it can also be used for poison.

The Crown Prince was also poisoned to death by wolfsbane.

Is that a coincidence as well?

Is there any evidence?

This is the arrowhead...

that was found on the day he died.

This has the same serial number as the arrowhead...

the late rogue stole from the market.

How could this be the evidence?

At least, I could use this to turn the arrow...

directed at His Majesty toward you.

Then why don't you bring that to the King?

Father.

Please stop here.

It will ruin you if you go any further.

Please...

stop insisting that what's wrong is right.

I'm not telling you this as Matchmaker Ma Hoon.

As your son,

this is my last sincere request.

Here come new products. Come and have a look.

I haven't seen him for a while.

Where on earth did you go?

Are you waiting for your colleagues to come and rescue you?

Don't get your hopes up. No one could ever find this place.

This is what happens when a brute like you...

go against the words of a human, Chil Nom.

Hoon.

I'm scared to get punished.

No one in Unjong Street saw Young Soo.

How could no one notice him...

when he's in those flashy clothes?

It could be possible if he didn't leave of his own accord.

Who could do such a thing?

Please look into the Second State Councillor's place.

I will.

The reason I summoned you...

is to hear about the affairs that happened in recent days.

Second State Councillor.

How's the investigation on my brother's death going?

Your Majesty, the assassination case of the Crown Prince...

was thoroughly investigated, however,

it was concluded as an attack by a mob of bandits.

Is that so?

That is a big relief.

Because I was deeply concerned if you were involved...

in this matter, Chief State Councillor.

My sincere apologies for troubling you, Your Majesty.

My sincere apologies, Your Majesty.

There's no need.

I will prepare for the final selection process without fail.

It's the first official event since your enthronement.

I truly hope nothing goes wrong in the process.

I look forward to your support, Chief State Councillor.

I will try my very best to support you, Your Majesty.

The king has broken the law due to his petty feelings...

and committed the sin of trying to make a lowly servant...

into a queen.

This was revealed to the whole nation...

during the second queen selection process.

He has already lost his virtues...

and lost the right to become the father of the people.

So we shall set things straight.

The year of Gimi, month of Gyeyu, day of Imjin.

The day of the final queen selection process...

will become the day we change the world.

The year of Gimi, month of Gyeyu, day of Imjin.

The day of the final queen selection process.

That's when they'll make a move.

Commander of the Royal Guard.

Will we win on this battlefield...

or lose?

Even when it's obvious you'll lose,

a battlefield is where you fight as if you'll win, Your Majesty.

Commander of the Royal Guard.

Get ready to go to war.

I must win this war by all means.

I, Moon Seok, shall follow your command.

My lady. Someone from the palace is here to see you.

Come outside.

Tak Soo, I'm no longer a lady.

Where did he go?

Soo.

- What is... - Open it.

I hereby allow Yun Dong Seok's daughter,

Yun Su Yeon's...

marriage.

You've been disqualified.

Because you're ugly.

Didn't you say I was the prettiest girl ever?

There are so many pretty girls at the palace.

Soo.

Gae Ttong.

Don't worry about me now...

and go on your way comfortably.

And...

if anyone gives you a hard time, come to me.

I'm the king.

Soo.

Goodbye.

I will become a good king.

Since I hope this place you live in...

becomes a better place.

Then will that brute be sent back to Yeonsanhyeon?

There's an order to kill him after the event.

My goodness.

If you want,

you may keep living as Su Yeon.

It's a hassle to live as a noble lady.

Gae Ttong suits me best.

So you should...

let go of your daughter now too.

Where will you go?

I haven't decided.

Still, I've decided who I will go with.

Thank you...

for everything.

If my daughter were alive,

she would've been beautiful just like you.

What's taking her so long to pack her bags?

My lord wants to see you.

Everything will go as planned.

I see. Well done.

Could you explain what's happening?

You should already know.

I said I wanted to become the woman with the most power in Joseon.

I did not say I wanted Joseon turned upside down.

Sit quietly and wait for now.

And when it's time,

just step into the shade I've prepared for you.

I decide where I'll be.

Is that why you fell for a man who doesn't even qualify...

for the civil service examination?

Did you think I wouldn't know?

I always thought you were a wise and clever girl.

I had no idea...

you'd be just like all the other girls blinded by love.

Father.

Kang Dal!

Yes, my lord.

Ji Hwa needs rest.

Make sure she doesn't take a step out of her room.

Yes, my lord.

Stand on your family's side.

If the dethronement proves successful,

that girl's life will be spared.

If you wish to,

you may even marry her.

Is that the response...

you give to my request...

as my father?

It's the response I give as the leader of the family.

The choice is yours.

Would you save the King and kill the girl?

Or would you rather kill the King and save the girl?

[VIU Ver] jTBC E16 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency' "Blossom for Eternity and Never Wither" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

It seems like Young Soo is being held by the Second State Councillor.

Gae Ttong has been abducted too.

The newbie?

I'll have my men look for them.

They won't be able to find them.

If they were held at a place you and I could find so easily,

they wouldn't have been taken in the first place.

I know about all the lands owned by my family.

They must be hidden in the Second State Councillor's land somewhere.

A place you can never find...

unless you belong to the family.

My lady, what is going on?

Hey! Open the door!

Hey! Please!

There's a person waiting for me.

Open the door.

Please!

Three-Month Temp, how did you end up here?

Young Soo.

Why are you here?

My lady, I did my best to stop him.

I sent all the other servants to another place for a meal.

But make sure you are done in 15 minutes.

What brings you here?

Our newbie has been abducted...

by the Second State Councillor's men.

Why...

are you telling me this?

I assumed you'd know where she is.

Do you expect me to tell you where she is?

Is this really what you want?

I hope you and I have the same answer.

Tomorrow...

is the day.

Please stay safe, Father.

I hope...

you stay safe too, Son.

Tomorrow is the day.

No. Today is.

Tonight, while the Commander of the Royal Guard is away,

a secret operation will be carried out.

While I attack the Hall of Convenience,

occupy the palace...

along with your soldiers.

I will.

See you in the new world.

Be fully ready for the operation.

- Yes! - Yes!

Are you feeling better now?

I am.

I'm relieved.

Gae Ttong, that day...

They're in the house at the end of the alley.

Come with me.

If the plan succeeds,

I'll be the King's woman.

If it fails,

I'll be the traitor's daughter. Don't you know that?

Either way,

you'll be the same lady to me.

No matter how long it takes,

I'll come for you by all means.

Make sure it is taken care of.

Now...

it's time to go see His Majesty.

You came, Chief State Councillor.

Your Majesty.

It's time for you to step down from the throne.

I will help you.

Escort him.

Please recite the command paper, Your Highness.

Recite!

"Lee Soo, who is seated on the King's throne,"

"ignored his responsibilities as king,"

"had improper relations with a lowly girl,"

"and put our country in jeopardy to make her the future queen."

"We, therefore, announce the foolish king dethroned."

No, you can't.

Your Majesty.

The Chief State Councillor is the one who killed...

both the Crown Prince and the Section Chief.

Why don't you step down already?

Prince Yeonwoo and the palace guards will arrive here at any moment.

Before they drag you down, come down with your own feet.

That's right.

This is the time for you to step down.

Father.

We have contained Prince Yeonwoo and the palace guards.

Well done.

How dare you...

We'll go find Gae Ttong on our end.

Please don't be swayed and secure your position.

That way, Gae Ttong can survive.

Do you think...

Gae Ttong will manage this?

You're already aware of the answer.

She is much stronger than we think she is.

(Try Again)

The choice is yours.

Would you save the King and kill the girl?

Or would you rather kill the King and save the girl?

Father.

Please stop here.

I'm begging you.

Let go of it.

No, you let go of it, Father.

Are you trying to humiliate me until the end?

At least once,

can you live as my father, not the Chief State Councillor?

Please pay for your sins.

That's the way to apologize...

to both my brother and me.

The only thing I'm guilty of...

is not being able to take the throne.

Father.

Father.

Father. Father!

Father.

Chil Nom, you poor thing.

Today will be your funeral.

Take him.

- No, don't. - Where are you taking him?

- Where are you taking him? - Let me go. Three-Month Temp!

- Young Soo! - Three-Month Temp!

Young Soo!

Excuse me! Hey!

Gosh, my stomach.

My stomach really hurts.

Please open this door.

This crazy wench.

Help. Please help me.

Please help.

Please help me.

Whatever. I don't care.

Chil Nom, I feel unfortunate too.

It's an order from above, so I have no choice.

Don't take it personally.

Three-Month Temp.

What are you doing? Let's go home.

We're family.

Young Soo, this is why you should always live sincerely.

Don't you know the saying, "What goes around comes around?"

It's "What goes around comes back."

How could you not know that?

Whatever. You're such a bright man.

Whatever.

There he is!

- Catch him! - There he is!

Catch him!

I should've just left you here.

Stop right there!

What is going on?

Joon!

What took you so long? We almost died.

You're lucky it was me who came.

I'll take care of things here, so go.

There's someone waiting for you.

Matchmaker Ma!

(Try again)

Father.

Father...

Matchmaker Ma.

(Try again)

You left this.

Are you hurt?

Are you all right?

You promised we'd be together.

You almost died because of me.

How could I dare...

stay beside you?

I survived thanks to you.

You saved me when I was deserted at my wedding...

and when I was barely able to make a living,

you were the one who taught me...

how to love someone.

You saved me.

I...

have nothing now.

I always had nothing.

What more do you need?

It's okay even if you have nothing.

You can start all over again.

Arrest him!

- Yes, sir! - Yes, sir!

- What is going on? - My goodness.

My lord.

- What is happening? - My lord.

My lord!

The prisoner Kang Mong Gu...

shall be removed from his position and banished to a deserted island.

He shall be locked up in his home surrounded by a thorn fence.

Also, according to the law,

the family of the sinner should also be punished,

(To be locked up in a home surrounded by a thorn fence)

but since she tried to fix her father's misdeeds with loyalty,

I shall take pity on her...

and grant special amnesty.

(1 year later)

Eunuch Jang.

You... You've received bridal applications for a year...

but refused all of them.

I won't take no for an answer this time.

Are you stuttering again?

Yes. It's because you've worried me sick.

You're not as sprightly as when you first came to the palace.

You seem somber now, like an old single man.

Who says I'm old?

(A widower or old single man)

I have married the country of Joseon.

Take it away.

How much longer will you neglect choosing the queen?

- Eunuch Jang. - Come on.

- Just choose anyone. - Eunuch Jang, take these away.

Just get on with it.

- Take these away. - She seems nice.

- Kim Yi... - Eunuch Jang!

Why is it closed today?

(Flower Crew)

(Closed for today)

Thank you.

If it weren't for you, my child and I...

might have given up on our lives.

Thank you very much.

It's a miracle made by your will...

since you didn't give up until the end.

Thank you.

The bride and groom shall now bow to each other.

- Where's your mom? - She's right there.

Oh, gosh.

Are you all right?

Getting married is difficult.

What a long day. Let's eat.

By the way, where is Joon?

He can become an official now.

Since His Majesty gave him an opportunity.

Tell Young Master Lee as long as he memorizes this,

he'll be able to pass this year's exam.

Yes, my lady.

I didn't know my fellow scholars received your help.

Now that I am able to sit for the civil service examination,

I'm thinking of becoming a State Councillor,

which is not quite the king.

Will you marry me?

Wait for me.

I'll make my way up...

to where you are...

in those pretty shoes.

Waiting is what I'm best at.

Beautiful, don't you think?

Just like you are.

What?

You're handsome too.

Are you jealous?

Of course.

You once said...

matchmaking is all about finding a partner for someone.

Those two have found each other now.

I think you've already found someone too.

(Flower Crew)

What brings you here?

What brings you here?

My ship got wrecked in a storm on my way to Japan,

so I ended up here.

His ship got wrecked, so he ended up here.

- Hello. - Hello.

What are they saying?

How can we help you?

There's a woman I'm in love with.

There's a woman he's in love with.

He's in love with someone?

Yes, he is.

What is she like?

This is her.

That startled me.

Let's take a look at least.

(Yeon Ji)

Her name is Yeon Ji.

She's 25 years old.

(Note: A princess)

She is the late King's second daughter.

The late King's... What?

She's a princess?

Oh, no. We're sorry.

You have to go back.

I haven't spoken German in such a long time.

I stay up all night...

thinking of this lady. It's driving me crazy.

Please help me marry her.

Oh, well...

Now you're talking.

What a surprise.

What is this anyway?

Hoon, we're doing this.

She's a princess, so what?

Yes, Boss. Let's do this.

Please...

I beg you.

He begs you.

He begs you.

I'm in.

I'm in too, and he begs you.

He stays up all night thinking of her.

What are we going to do?

This marriage...

will be taken care of by Flower Crew.

Unbelievable!

Think of how much this is worth!

How much is this worth?

Why don't we shout our slogan here?

Lady Luck is on our side.

So everything is rosy.

And we're the best matchmakers!

- We're the best! - We're the best!

You'd be perfect for the princess.

They're a perfect match indeed.
