You knew, didn't you?

That she would leave.

Let's go. You'll catch a cold.

I'm asking you.

She came to Flower Crew.

(Flower Crew)

His Majesty risked all he had...

to keep you beside him.

Many lives...

depend on you.

I should be ashamed of myself.

Who cares if you show no shame?

Joon.

But Hoon will be so distraught without you.

So why don't you take him with you?

It'll be so annoying if he cries.

Do you still not know him?

He'll be extremely pleased without me.

You're not going to let me stop you, are you?

Do I seem...

foolish to you too?

Still, I have no choice.

My life...

was just a bonus for me.

I survived thanks to my brother...

and had a family thanks to Soo.

And thanks to the members at Flower Crew,

I was able to live like a proper person.

My life was just a bonus,

and I don't want to become a burden.

Hoon will not think of you that way.

But still,

I will become a burden to him...

in the end.

Even a worthless person like me has pride at least.

So...

can you not tell him...

that I came here today?

Hoon.

Why do you look like such a mess?

Did you walk in the rain?

Hoon!

I have something to tell you.

Bring that servant to the palace.

Bring him...

and say the Chief State Councillor ordered Flower Crew to do it.

That... That is not true.

All we did was do something His Majesty ordered.

No.

That would put His Majesty in a difficult position.

Ma Hoon was the one who made you do it...

according to the Chief State Councillor's orders.

Do you understand, Chil Nom?

Please...

Please stop me.

Please?

Hoon...

Thanks to the members at Flower Crew,

I was able to live like a proper person.

My life was just a bonus,

and I don't want to become a burden.

It's a sun-shower.

The rain clouds are paying a quick visit...

like your valued guest to congratulate you on your wedding,

so do not be scared.

It's a sun-shower.

The rain clouds are paying a quick visit.

Everything will be fine in a moment.

(Episode 15: Don't Touch Me)

(The 15th Flower: Wolfsbane)

Did you hear the rumor?

His Majesty sent wedding items that he'd picked out himself...

only to Lord Yun's.

Now we know who is really going to be the queen.

Coming from a prestigious family means nothing...

when the King has another woman on his mind.

Exactly.

You could say that even louder.

Thank you.

I believe...

a proper lady with many virtues like you should be the queen.

This queen selection process is being swayed by the King's emotions.

Isn't that a shame?

Here comes the Queen.

What a lucky girl.

I'm serious.

It wasn't to go back to you that I wanted to become a noble lady.

This marriage is over now.

It's time to attend the sangcham.

(Sangcham: A morning assembly with high-ranking officials)

I'm not ready yet.

- It's already been delayed... - I said, I'm not ready yet.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty, Lady Yun...

Lady Yun has arrived at the palace.

Let's go.

As you ordered, Astrologist Kim is being held.

Have you found a substitute?

Astrologist Kang, who analyzed the birthdates...

when Her Highness became the Queen, has been bought off.

Well done.

What are you going to do now,

Second State Councillor?

Matchmaker Ma, there's a letter for you.

Forget it.

Do not accept any letters for the time being.

We will...

probably close down soon.

Pardon? Are we closing down?

Roll up the veils.

For my dear ladies,

I prepared lotus flower tea today.

Enjoy.

- Thank you, Your Highness. - Thank you, Your Highness.

Lift your cup with your right hand.

Support it with your saucer with your left hand.

Would you like to see my tea-preparing skills?

Gae Ttong, you... This is alcohol.

Startle me.

What do you think? It is a very rare kind.

It smells mild...

but has wonderfully rich flavors.

I knew you would appreciate it, Lady Ma.

Lady Yun, are you not feeling well?

"I appreciate your offer, but I'm fine."

I appreciate your concern, but I'm fine.

How could he think of colluding with an astrologist?

As you ordered, Astrologist Kim is being held.

Second State Councillor.

The astrologist is already two hours late.

How long do we have to wait?

Let's wait just a little longer.

I'm sure something came up.

We can't wait any longer, Your Majesty.

I had summoned an astrologist whom I trust just in case.

Could he be a substitute?

That sounds good.

If he is recommended by you, I can trust him.

I am honored, Your Majesty.

- Then... - He may enter.

Astrologist Kang confessed...

to being bought off by the Chief State Councillor.

Have Chief State Councillor arrested and interrogated...

No.

The Chief State Councillor knows Gae Ttong's secret.

If I act rashly,

Gae Ttong might get hurt.

Then what should we do?

Summon that man.

No, Your Majesty.

We should find another astrologist...

Is there anyone in this palace who hasn't been bought off...

by the Chief and Second State Councillors?

Still, I doubt he'll come.

Matchmaker Ma Hoon...

is at Your Majesty's service.

Why did you want to see me in private?

Did you meet your brother?

You were so desperate to see him.

If that's why I'm here, I should leave.

You should've run after you found your brother.

Why are you still here?

Are you truly coveting the throne?

Lady Kang.

Why have I never seen you smile?

All the clients who found Flower Crew for their marriages...

left with a smile on their face.

Because they finally found their other half,

they were greatly delighted.

Are you not here to find your other half, Lady Kang?

But in my eyes,

you seem like a soldier who was dragged into the battlefield.

A lowly commoner like you who roamed around the markets...

could never understand...

the aristocrat's marriage.

Marriage is not something that you fight to win.

Instead, you have to offer your heart.

You don't have a heart to offer.

That's why you couldn't smile.

I hope you're a person who is able to smile.

What do you know about me?

How could you be here?

Chief State Councillor.

Was the substitute you summoned...

your son?

Yes, Your Majesty.

My father said the country's fortune is at stake...

and allowed me to step in.

Please reconsider, Your Majesty.

He is nothing but a mere matchmaker...

from Pimatgol Alley.

Please reconsider, Your Majesty.

- Please reconsider, Your Majesty. - Please reconsider, Your Majesty.

I'm afraid what the Second State Councillor said was correct.

Even though he is my child,

he still lacks in ability.

What do you mean?

You mustn't have heard about his reputation.

I heard that all the marriages he arranged...

have never been broken apart.

Apparently, he is the best matchmaker in Hanyang

Chief State Councillor, I did not think...

you would offer such a thoughtful arrangement for me.

Matchmaker Ma.

Please go ahead and tell me about the fortunes of the three ladies.

The royal marriage...

is in your hands.

I was going to call you.

I ordered herbal medicine for Joon Hyun,

so go to the royal infirmary and get it for me.

You couldn't imagine...

how hard it has been for me to get that precious medicine.

Your Highness.

The Section Chief...

What about Joon Hyun?

The Section Chief...

was attacked by a mob of bandits on his way to exile.

Did he die?

Your Highness.

There is no way.

How could Joon Hyun...

There is no way Joon Hyun is dead.

No matter who it is, if someone tries to hurt my family name,

I will cut him out with my own hands.

He wasn't killed by the bandits.

(Yun Su Yeon)

Well, what do you see?

In regards to Lady Ma Jeong Hee and Lady Kang Ji Hwa,

the fortunes the astrologist read earlier...

and the fortunes I've read...

are mostly matched.

Do you mean...

Lady Kang truly has the ability to become the queen?

Yes, Second State Councillor.

However, I'm afraid Lady Kang Ji Hwa...

would not be satisfied with the queen's title.

Her fate is not to aid the sun,

but to become the sun herself.

Therefore, she's not suitable for this court.

Matchmaker Ma.

What about Lady Yun Su Yeon?

We were told that she had the fortune of death.

Is this true?

I'm afraid so.

The fortune of Lady Yun Su Yeon...

represents the fortune of the dead.

However,

it seems that her astrology and physiognomy don't match.

I would like to see her face myself.

Please allow me, Your Majesty.

I will allow.

Find Lord Yun Dong Seok's daughter, Yun Su Yeon...

and bring her to the Hall of Convenience.

The second queen selection process has now been finished.

We will contact the candidates for the third queen selection.

Now you may head back to your homes.

Lady Yun.

Please come with me to the Hall of Convenience.

Just me?

Yes, my lady.

See?

Everyone sees Lady Yun as the future queen.

I need someone who will win.

Lady Yun.

Yes?

What is this?

Your lip color has faded.

You're going to see His Majesty. So you'd better look tidy.

What is this pouch for?

I'm giving you that so you can use it in a situation...

where you may lose.

Thank you.

Could you...

roll up the veil?

Can you please roll up the veil?

Matchmaker Ma.

Why are you staring at her like that?

One might think you met someone you love.

What about her fortune?

She really has the fortune of the dead.

The fortune of the dead?

How is this possible?

All people must die one day,

but if one is desperate enough,

a miracle sometimes occurs.

I can see a father desperately trying to stop...

his daughter's death by praying to the skies.

Thanks to her father, she meets a great fortune...

sent by the skies miraculously.

It's as if someone born without a name...

was gifted with a precious name and reborn.

How about her compatibility with His Majesty?

His Majesty's energy that represents "earth"...

and Yun Su Yeon's energy that represents "fire" match well...

in harmony.

She will bring fortune to the royal family.

However...

However, my lady,

not only is it His Majesty...

but to everyone around you that you bring good fortune.

Your difficult past...

was merely a stepping stone for your future happiness.

So do not worry anymore...

and live happily.

Since someone else will take away...

all your misfortunes from now on.

Give me your hand.

Since you took my luck, nothing bad will happen.

My lord.

My lord.

Lady Su Yeon made this for you before going to...

today's second queen selection process.

I have no appetite, so take it away.

Then...

may I eat it instead?

Please excuse me.

Follow me.

He's walking away so quickly.

Why can't he turn around?

So I can see his handsome face.

Lady Yun.

His Majesty has called for you.

What on earth are you thinking...

to bring that lowly brat into the second selection process?

Do you really intend to make her the queen?

If she wants,

I will.

If the Second State Councillor finds out who she is,

what do you think will happen?

He already knows.

How long will you keep doing this?

How far will you go?

If you keep bringing disgrace to our family name,

like you said, I will consider you dead...

just like your brother.

[VIU Ver] jTBC E15 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency' "Don't Touch Me" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

I didn't think you'd come.

Soo, you look dashing in that robe.

You're the most handsome king in Joseon.

I'm sorry.

I've never properly apologized to you.

For deceiving you, and making you come here.

I'm sorry.

I'll go to you now.

Since you sacrificed so much to come to me.

Since we are...

family?

Since we're family.

But until today, let's stay as Five Pun and the blacksmith.

When we meet next time,

we can meet as the king and Yun Su Yeon.

Do you wish...

to go back to Matchmaker Ma?

I don't want to go back to him.

I just wish...

to walk the same path as him.

Your Majesty!

It's an emergency.

It hurts!

It hurts! My legs hurt.

My legs hurt.

Tell me now.

Who is Gae Ttong?

Twist his legs harder.

My legs hurt.

I guess you haven't been punished enough yet.

Wake him up.

What do you think you're doing?

Many lives depend on you.

I asked, what are you doing?

An interrogation is going on, Your Majesty.

Are you not aware that torture during interrogations...

is banned?

In fact, the gravity of his crime...

forced me to be strict with him.

What did he do to be treated so cruelly?

He violated the moral principles.

(Violating the moral principles is considered tantamount to treason.)

The moral principles?

Yes.

He used to be a slave in my family.

But he claimed to be the brother of Yun Su Yeon,

who is Yun Dong Seok's daughter.

If he's telling the truth,

there are two possibilities.

One, he actually didn't belong to the slave class.

Two,

that lady is shamelessly pretending to be of noble birth.

Watch your language.

She is Maeheon's precious daughter.

That's all the more reason why we should get to the bottom of this.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this is cajolement.

(To deceive the King and scorn one's superior)

Second State Councillor.

Do you believe what he said?

I heard him say it myself.

He said Lady Yun is his sister Gae Ttong, whom he had lost.

I heard it too.

He calls every girl passing by on the street...

Gae Ttong.

I saw it myself...

when I visited the Second State Councillor's house.

I didn't say I heard it from him.

He was only brought here as evidence.

Bring him here.

He is the one who reported it.

Explain in detail.

Yes.

That lady's name is not Yun Su Yeon.

She is that slave's sister, Gae Ttong.

How do you know that?

She used to be called Five Pun at the market.

And we were asked to turn her into a noble lady.

Young Soo.

Who is behind all this?

Well...

Young Soo.

- Get him! - That way!

Get him!

- Get him! - Stop right there!

- Get him! - Get him!

- Get him! - That way!

- Get him! - Get him!

Get him!

- Get him! - Get him!

Get him!

He's around here.

Where did he go?

Where is he?

He's not here!

- Let's go that way. - Let's go!

- Let's go! - Let's get him!

Let's go!

- Hurry up! - Hurry up!

What's taking so long?

- Couldn't you hurry up? - Go.

Next.

Move.

Gosh, it stinks.

You can go. Hurry up.

Why didn't you break into a tavern instead?

Matchmaker Ma, is everything all right in there?

Yes.

I'm just pleased with the things we bought.

Let me look around here for a while.

Why don't you go out and get something to eat?

Okay. Take your time then.

We don't have much food around here, but we have things that smell good.

Kid, that would suit you better...

than a knife.

Keep it.

Yes.

I'm Ko Young Soo.

I'll never go back...

to being Chil Nom.

I asked, who is behind all this?

Ma Hoon was the one who made you do it...

according to the Chief State Councillor's orders.

Gae Ttong is!

The person behind all this is...

that girl.

She showed up...

and asked us to turn her into a noble lady.

We were all...

fooled by that girl.

Chil Nom, how dare you!

Tell the truth, and your life will be spared.

Is that girl your sister, Gae Ttong?

Kang!

Kang!

Gae Ttong.

You're not to talk about Gae Ttong ever again, okay?

Otherwise, both you and Gae Ttong will die.

I don't know Gae Ttong.

Gae Ttong is dead.

How dare you!

I'm Gae Ttong!

I'm Gae Ttong.

Yes.

I wanted to become the queen so badly...

that I deceived everyone...

and sent in my bridal application.

As Matchmaker Ko said,

all the people in Flower Crew...

were fooled by me.

Please step back.

I'm afraid you're stepping out of line.

Matchmaker Ma, you are on the same side as her.

I'm also one of them.

Matchmaker Ma asked me to come and see you.

This time,

he wants to owe you a debt.

Please tell him don't bother.

If my daughter is fake,

does that also make me fake, Second State Councillor?

How could you call her a daughter when there's clear evidence here?

This girl just confessed everything.

If you keep insisting on the lie,

you won't avoid being punished either, Maeheon.

Then you tell me, Second State Councillor.

The father confirms that she's his daughter.

What evidence could be clearer than her father's words?

Since she was very weak when she was little,

I always carried her on my back and raised her all this while.

She's my own daughter that I could do anything for.

From now on,

don't you dare cross the line.

Second State Councillor.

Your Majesty.

This boy has gone through a lot of trouble due to my daughter.

I'd like to take him with me and look after him.

Please allow me, Your Majesty.

I will allow.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

This is all a lie, Your Majesty.

Maeheon is fooling everyone.

In order to fulfill your own greed,

not only did you frame and torture innocent people...

by abusing your authority,

but you also deceived me, your King.

Your Majesty.

Given the fact that you've highly contributed to the country,

I will not punish you for your sin this time.

Now leave.

- Gae Ttong! - Gae Ttong.

There are a lot of eyes right now.

Gae Ttong, wake up.

How long are you going to stay still?

Hurry up and go find a physician!

Okay.

Gae Ttong, please wake up.

Gae Ttong, bare it for a moment.

(Temporarily closed)

She was poisoned with wolfsbane.

Luckily, it was only a small amount. Otherwise, it could've been worse.

Since I gave her the antidote, she will get better soon.

Who could have possibly given her that poison?

I heard it was Lady Ma.

- Then I'll report this matter to... - No need.

His Majesty found out way earlier than this informant.

By the way...

I guess there's someone behind Lady Ma.

Lady Yun is in recovery, Your Majesty.

That's very fortunate.

Would you like to visit her?

I'm Kim Soo. And she's my wife.

You can let me carry your burden on my shoulders.

Let's do that and live together.

Only my family really cares about me.

Now there's someone else...

who's looking after you instead of me.

Open it.

How could you remove my niece from the selection?

I cannot see this happen.

It was a mere mistake of an immature young lady.

Please reconsider...

Did you also kill my brother because of an immature mistake?

Your Majesty.

How could you say...

such outrageous words?

On the pretense that you're protecting this country,

how many innocent people have you harmed so far?

Your Majesty!

Your position...

is given to you to take care of the people on the king's behalf.

It's not a position to wield the power around...

and fulfill your own needs!

I am afraid you are mistaken...

about me, Your Majesty.

Commander of the Royal Guard.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Please tell the Department of Justice to look into this.

And also, make them reinvestigate all suspicious cases.

If it is needed,

I will grant them the authority to interrogate anyone in court.

You're going to regret...

what you're doing to me right now.

I'm only regretful...

that I didn't do this earlier.

Who said...

you could leave as you pleased?

I didn't grab your hand.

You did.

Stone Head.

You can't take back a promise once you make it.

I heard Lord Yun's daughter is safe.

And Lady Ma has been arrested due to this incident...

and the queen selection process has been suspended.

All right. You may leave.

I wish to be alone.

Yes, my lady.

I said I wish to be alone.

Did you come to read a book?

Are you satisfied now?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Lady Ma has nothing to do with me.

My lady.

Do you really have to go so far?

Is that truly the position you want to rise up to?

Yes. Of course, it is.

It would've been better if she just died as well.

What do you think you're doing?

I wished for you not to experience hardship,

not to push others into it.

There's something you've forgotten.

No matter how high you go up,

there will be no one waiting for you up there.

Do you think I won't be able to?

Kang.

Kang.

Don't worry.

Your brother is safe here.

The queen selection process has been suspended temporarily.

Also, Flower Crew is safe too.

Isn't that what you wanted to ask?

Are you feeling okay?

Your hands feel okay,

and so is your body.

Your fever has dropped too.

Everything...

will be okay now.

I will never...

I will never let you go again.

That smells good.

I smell something good coming from you.

It's not coming from me.

Here.

It's this.

No, it isn't.

That good smell is coming from you.

A man who smells good is a nice person.

That's because you're the most reliable one here.

You're the nicest.

Don't smile like that.

Don't smile like Gae Ttong.

I'm sorry.

What on earth are you doing?

Prince Yeonwoo has returned from Qing.

Chief State Councillor.

"Succeed and become the king, or fail and become a traitor."

It means everything eventually...

comes down to one result.

Chief State Councillor.

This is treason.

That is, if I fail.

However,

I never fight a losing battle.

Do you wish to get rid of me?

I wish to grab...

a friend's hand.

I will dethrone the king for neglecting his duties...

and restore Prince Yeonwoo's position...

who was kicked out unfairly.

I will set this country on its proper path once and for all.

Second State Councillor.

How about...

changing the world with me?
