a pretty privileged upbringing

in terms of going to a good school
and having a lot of opportunities

but I think sometimes,

just because someone's from a good
background doesn't necessarily mean

that they can't deal
with these sort of situations.

It's all about obviously
having the mental strength,

not just the physical strength,

and I think I've got a fair bit,
amount of mental strength.

On their last rotation

both Mohammed and Jani
have fallen asleep on watch.

On operations it was very easy
for me to stay awake.

I felt a sense of pride, I felt
a sense of huge responsibility.

You literally know that if you fall
asleep, within a couple of seconds

yourself and your whole squadron
or your whole team could be dead.
