right before getting on stage,

before I start,

but it is at the very moment
I step on the stage.

I cannot get nervous.

Sometimes I ask myself,
"Did we really give our best until now?"

we haven't shown yet,

as in the best version of ourselves.

We still have a long way to go.

If we wanna do it right,
we gotta go to the top.

The girl group aespa, through their
activities in the United States,

is receiving even more support
from their fans in South Korea.

K-pop superstar aespa and their
avatar counterpart coming to New York...

Let me present you aespa,
four girls up to trend...

aespa finally made it to Tokyo Dome...

This concert is called HYPER LINE.

And at HYPER LINE, you can see æ members,

MYs, and aespa all in one.

To me, aespa is like a beginning.

I can show everything now.

Welcome to the HYPER LINE.

The debut stage that I imagined
was one that's filled with fans,

cheering for us as well.

We trained together for a long time

and there was only
the thought of "I have to do well."

I think we felt it
after performing for our fans.

"Oh, we had been disconnected."

Now that we've performed
with fans in the audience,

I think there has to be an audience

for the artists to be able to grow.

When we perform in front of MY,

I find myself
just having so much fun together,

and because we can interact well,

I think I thought "I should
stay focused until the very end."

When I first heard that
we're going on a world tour,

I was a bit nervous from the excitement

and I had this anticipation
about what kind of concert it would be.

When we first heard about the world tour,

there were some worries
as well as a lot of excitement.

Through the world tour,

because we'd be able to
meet fans from around the world,

it sounded really fun,
so we were very excited.

The name of our concert is "SYNK."

"aespa SYNK" refers to the concert.

SYNK.

For us aespa, the word "connection"
is a very meaningful word in that,

"What if the fans
don't feel connected to us?"

These kinds of thoughts used to worry us.

But when we got to do the tour,
we got so excited.

And the concert hall was so big,

and the fact that our fans were able to
fill up the whole concert hall

and we got more
opportunities to meet them,

we're really connected with each other
because we're able to feel that more.

I think it's a keyword
that's very important to us.

The meaning of this
"SYNK: HYPER LINE" concert is

about how æ, aespa, and MY

connect together in one space.

The concert starts with morse code sound,

like, beep, beep, beep,
it starts like that.

It felt so impactful to me.

When they first told us
that we're going on a world tour,

since I started practicing for it,
it really hit me,

but I was so nervous every single day.

Learning new choreography
and memorizing new stage movement

made me really nervous.

Every day, we really practiced maybe...

five hours each time at the very least.

Because we hadn't performed
this many songs,

I was very nervous, especially
during the rehearsal at the venue.

Because I felt a lot of pressure during
the preparation for the concert,

I practiced harder,

and just thought about how "I want to
show them something better than before."

Whether it be memorizing stage movement
or choreography,

just, more, more, more, more,
like this, no matter what.

I think I really pushed myself
during practice.

It felt like I was just constantly
moving my body without any break.

It was really hard.

Like really, really... "Is this okay?"

I'd almost lose my mind, really.

And again, we can't always stay satisfied.

We want to work hard so that we can

show all of you something
better than before.

During the opening stage,
when we first appeared like this,

our fans cheered for us.

And because I think I started to
really enjoy that,

I think those worries subsided a lot
during the concert.

It's a world tour.

Through this world tour,

because we're able to receive that energy

from different countries,
different cities,

that was also really, really great.

I was very, very excited.

Because we've always talked often about

MY from all around the world

and we're able to show our performance
so close to them like this.

I was very, very excited for it.

I also worried a lot, like,
"Will the venue be filled?"

But when we actually did it,
so many people came.

So we had a very valuable experience.

It was so great because
it was an opportunity to meet global fans.

aespa went on a world tour this year.

We started in Korea,

then Japan...

United States...

KARINA, during the "na, na, na," part,
could you possibly move a bit to the side?

Because at the front,

When that starts,
we come here and stay like this, and then,

we do four of that, and then...

I think we can just do it quickly after.

Because every stage
is of a different size,

practicing the stage movement
for that specific stage

was where we focused a bit more.

And we worried a lot that we won't
be able to show the best quality.

There was some anxiety as well,

because we had never been
abroad for so long like that,

so we were a bit anxious about that.

Honestly, for all four of us,

we're not really in the best shape
in terms of stamina.

So we were worried and it was hard too,

but until now, we've been
trying hard to grow further.

And we share feedback with each other.

"We really need to get it together,"
we tell each other,

and when we get to
actually look at our stage,

"Wow, what... We do it way better than
on screen." Let's be able to feel that.

I think this mindset
was really the driving force.

I think these two fingers also hurt.

-I hit my fingers like this.

Because this is the center.

Like, for our choreography,
we have to fold each one like this.

We have to do it like this.

We'll get moving.

How cheeky.

It's a place that's filled with people
that came entirely to see us.

Coming to the concert itself
is honestly such a fascinating thing.

The language is all different,
but they memorize the lyrics

and sing together with us.

That was so moving.
That's really difficult to do.

When we get on stage, so many MY are there

so we receive a lot of that energy.

So I'm able to share energy
that's bigger than me.

Because of that, when I get off the stage,

I think I seem to thirst for it more,

so I very much look forward
to the next concert,

and have this expectation, like,
"What kind of concert will it be today?"

The country that I've wanted to visit
the most since I was a trainee

was actually England.

So honestly, I'm very excited today.

Today, we finally get to meet
our MY in London.

I didn't know such a big venue as this
would get all filled.

In my opinion, KARINA is funny
and funnier than you think.

Firstly, there's really not much
difference between KARINA

and YU JIMIN.

Name?

If there was a difference,

I'm the eldest in the team
but I'm the youngest in my family.

So I think I seem to like people more...

This is the only cookie I eat.

Before I met aespa,

I was just an ordinary student.

I wasn't exactly normal,

because while my friends were studying,
I prepared to become a flight attendant.

If I hadn't become a part of aespa,
I'd perhaps be on a plane right now,

taking care of the three other members.

Yeah, my solo song
"Menagerie" is about a zoo

swarming with very wild animals.

Now the hardships that come toward us,

they could be hateful comments or
they could be lies, misunderstandings...

I compared them to wild animals.

I'm in the middle
and those wild animals are threatening me.

"It's okay, I can break this
because it's a hallucination."

That's what that song is about.

Lyrics, yes,
I participated in writing them.

I've tried writing lyrics multiple times

and this is the first song
that was selected.

So, it's a song that is
very meaningful to me as well.

For me, it's sort of like
revealing my journal.

Honestly, it's a little embarrassing.

I want to work harder
and I want to do better,

so please look forward to my future works.

I haven't really shared this with my fans,

but I actually have stage fright.

So I don't like to get on stage
by myself, I can't,

and with our director, Shim Jae Won,

I had a meeting about the concert

and he asked, "Do you have any trauma
or something that scares you?"

I said that I'm kind of scared of birds
and I can't get on stage by myself.

It's really hard mentally,

but then, suddenly a solo performance
was added to our setlist.

So when you look at the Seoul concert,
my hands are shaking.

Some people think that's part of the show.

No, I'm actually shaking.

But then, he said that he'll help me
fight through it,

and said that's why they put
the solo song in the setlist.

But now that I've stepped out to
the world once, I want to do better

and I think I overcame a lot of my fear
of performing solo.

So, even if I perform alone in the future,
I won't be afraid.

I look forward to it.

WINTER is...

Why can't I find the right words to say?

She's cute, cool, pretty
and she likes nature a lot.

WINTER also really likes to take walks.

She listens to music while taking walks
and seems to like the world.

She sort of sees nature and feels things.

I know that very well.

KIM MINJEONG is very "F,"
so she always cries while watching movies,

I'll take a day off
to attend a fan meeting.

I thought it would hurt my feelings,
so I called in sick.

Since my heart would stop
because they're so cute.

I thought I was a huge couch potato,

but as I went abroad and so on,

I wanted to explore outside more.

What is it known for?" I look them up.

Back then we had a day for ourselves
the day before the concert,

and I love tea.

I went to a tea shop
and made my very own tea.

I named it WINTER.

And when I saw myself like that,

"Hey, I don't actually just stay at home
as much as I think," I thought to myself.

Can I get a cup of tea?

My solo song, "Lips" is about how

I'm confessing my love for you,

so look at my lips.
That's what this song is about.

I think that kind of gentle ballad
is very difficult.

For me, in a way,

I think I showed the genre
that I'm worst at.

Wow, but I really don't think
I can do this song.

The details or techniques,

there are a lot of such elements
that are very new to me.

It was really hard.

When you look at songs by aespa,

æ-WINTER and æ-aespa appear.

I'm interacting more with the fans,

My solo song is about
sharing with the fans.

My lyrics are what
I want to say to my fans.

I think I did it while thinking,
"I'm glad I sang this song."

GISELLE is well-known
to be the "hot girl,"

but she's a lot more cute than she seems.

She's not exactly delicate,
but how should I put it?

She's kind of fragile.

She's so cute.

She thinks a lot
but she's a very simple person.

She's like a baby.

Someone that might've been
around the neighborhood as a child.

She's like an older friend,
or just a friend.

What I always eat is Chapagetti.

So I think half of my body right now
is like Chapagetti.

I want to say I'm kind of
pure and innocent,

but then if I say that,
I feel like I'm not so pure and innocent.

Their eyes were like this
and they're so cute!

GISELLE and UCHINAGA AERI
are quite different, I think.

I suddenly felt it.

It's a bit amazing
that I'm GISELLE right now.

AERI is very shy and very reserved.

I'm kind of nervous.

GISELLE's image
is almost the opposite of that.

My hand gestures
or the way I talk on screen...

These things are
a little more like GISELLE.

I'm really into fashion.

MY would probably think

but there is still so much

Doing the concert and going on tour

was the most difficult period
out of all of my difficult times.

Since the end of last year,
I was sick very often.

So I'd end up saving
my energy unnecessarily

because if I didn't, I'd get sick,
but I'd still have to practice.

I'd get stressed about it
and then get sick again.

Because this happened repeatedly,

I think it was a little more difficult
to overcome.

But then the other members noticed
and when they took care of me and so on,

I also said, "Oh, it's hard."

It's something I have to overcome myself.

So I think I thought to myself,

called "2HOT4U."

I think it's the more arrogant version
of that hot girl image that MY like.

"I'm too good for you, don't come close."

I think it's kind of like this song
about me bragging about myself.

Though I'm reserved
in terms of personality,

I think I tried hard to do this well.

I hope they feel that too.

aespa NINGNING is...

I think she's someone who is very unique.

She uses her facial expressions very well.

NINGNING is very empathetic and just kind.

I saw her grow a lot.

I think she is a very careful person.

Everyone thinks
she's the really cute youngest member.

She is the cute youngest member.

I'm actually a very emotional person.

My mood fluctuates a lot
and I think I just have a lot of emotions.

I don't think I can do it because I'm shy.

I'm shy.

So when I'm alone I tend to think a lot.

I'm someone that needs
to control her emotions.

But when I get on stage, really,
I keep my emotions aside.

I think that I truly need to show myself.

Because that's something
that the fans want to see.

So if something sad happens
or I'm having a hard time,

I just ignore it all

and kind of feel like
I just got to do what I got to do.

I really like this song.

was really good.

It really matched my taste.

I think "Wake Up"

is a song that can show
dancing, singing, and rapping all at once,

But in the beginning, like,

I think it would be very good
to use as an alarm.

When we became members,

I think we became like family
that can depend on each other.

with all the members.

everyone's there for each other.

has ever spoken ill of another.

It's a dream that's achievable
because aespa's together.

We've achieved many dreams as aespa.

We continue to spend time
together with all the members.

This job itself was my dream.

Being on stage together
is when it feels the most real.

I think all of this happening
is possible because we're aespa.

Kind of because all four of us
have been here together.

Because we're members of aespa,

we have fans and
there's a fandom like this.

Just our entire career overall,

I think, exists "because we're aespa."

Because we know very well
how we can comfort each other,

we joke around even more.

These kinds of jokes with each other
alleviate that loneliness.

It's a team that could
never be replicated.

Even though everyone's country of birth
and language are different,

we came together like this
and really became one.

We're closer than anybody else

and can depend on each other.

The reason our fans are called "MY"

is that we wanted to rouse
the comfortable feeling of "my friend."

So we decided to name our fans "MY."

It's a very comfortable vibe.

We're like family.

Our MY either love something or hate it.

I think they have
clear likes and dislikes.

So our members really like them,
including myself.

And they're very shy.

feel shy with each other,

They really like us from afar,

the venue filled with lightsticks...

the colors of our lightsticks are pretty.

I think I feel that way.

come to see me, and us?

I really can't believe it.

To be honest, I still can't believe it.

Because, that many people
came to see us, you know?
