and I felt an urge to avenge.

I was willing to sacrifice
my life for these ideas.

The army forced a curfew
from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

every day, and whoever gets out

My brother Nasser was 14.

He went out from our house to my uncle's

one of the jailer lost her brother

in one of the martyrdom attacks.

So we expected that after that
she will treat us brutally.

That jailer said,
"Believe me, I'm not upset.

I'm against all the violence.

And as you die, we die.

The blood causes blood.

I wish to live in peace."

I started to reconsider a lot.

I found that there is goodness.

Goodness is possible.

One day, I came home...

There was bus explosion in Jerusalem...

And there were a lot dead.

The majority was children.

And my mother was crying.

I said, "Why are you crying?
It's not in Palestine,

It's in Israel!"

She looked at me and said,
"Those dead children...

Their mothers will suffer
the same pain I suffered,

it's the same pain,
