The coldest part of Earth is not at the North or South Pole.

He's only 56km above us,

where the temperature may drop at 140 degrees below zero.

A thin layer of atmosphere that is called the ozone layer,

is the only protection of Earth's inhabitants.

So far ...

_ ICE BLOCK_

ICRO-Research Northern ship Star, 800 km south of Australia.

International Research climate organization.

This is Alex from the North Star.

Hi, Alex. - Hi Zoe, can you call Jack? - Dek!

North Star on the line. - Thank you.

Hi Alex, how's it going? - All right, Jack.

Can you join us now? - It would be fun, mate.

Now people can watch the sun completely, covered in shade.

strange!

The eclipse looks like a big black hole.

Like Derod's head. - Thanks "Miss All-knowing."

this? Are they yours parents super brains?

My mother is forensic pathologist and father meteorologist.

I didn't know he was your father studied meteorology.

Why am I talking to him at all?

How's the last ozone sector? - Thin.

We are talking about serious aggravation.

We can thank China for releasing it another billion tonnes of gas.

If I told you this happens in ...

other countries, do would you feel better?

Jack, when I wake up returned, let's have a bottle ...

whiskey and we address all the problems of the world.

Look, it's our scanner found an anomaly.

Look up. All the way up. - How far?

85 km, more or less.

The temperature in the mesosphere is fell more than 20 degrees.

Could this be the result solar eclipses?

I think that's possible.

He could publish an article about it. Atmospheric physiar is a great article.

No thanks. Posting to the newspapers would get me into trouble.

You always get into trouble.

Yes, I got that from when I got married.

That's why Alex and I lead our own lives. - I like being single.

Go back to your classrooms. - So, it ended ...

is the big and boring solar eclipse?

He can answer.

Jack Tate, telephone service!

Hi, please can i get a deka.

Your wife.

Ema. - Where are you?

With a divorce lawyer. - I forgot. - Yes you are! You're 20 minutes late.

Sorry, something important came up.

How Much Can It Get? - 45 minutes!

We can have coffee ... saekaemo.

ekaemo!

I assume you heard this too? - Yes, I'm sorry, buddy.

Pay attention to this area where there was a decrease in temperature in the mesosphere.

Sure no problem.

We're fine here. You take care of yourself.

Take the day off.

Are you sure? And all the data? - We have a backup.

Besides, I have to stay here. - Thanks, buddy, I really appreciate that.

See you on Monday. - Good luck.

Jack, if you need it friend to talk to ...

Thanks, Zoe, I'm fine.

Captain, let's get back to Hobart.

Maybe we can continue over the weekend.

Okay, we're back to Hobart.

The temperature drops very quickly.

What's going on?

Captain?

Captain! Let's go to the bridge.

It's a nice spring day in Hobart. The temperature is 22 degrees.

Looks like we'll have more a few sunny days.

Jack Tate. - You're late, Dek, I'll wait two days.

Where's last week's report? - Coming.

I had a little unexpected data and analysis.

How much longer? - Soon. - Let me remind you.

The last time you did exceeded the budget ...

Walter, I can't hear you ...

She can't be late again, Dek. I can give you a maximum of a week.

No ... I don't ... I ... I ... you ...

How annoying I am.

I've been listening to this shit for 12 years!

He is the best ICRO scientist in the field. I wouldn't be so strict on him.

You're right. Maybe next to Beijing, the next ...

the task could be Siberia too! Shit.

So, what can I say next a set of atmospheric scientists?

What can I tell you, I mean, until ...

appear with the report I have to delay.

Are you two absolutely sure about this?

No! - Absolutely!

Absolutely? - You won't calm down in one place, Dek.

I want to calm down.

Good. And then, when? In a year? Five or ten years? When?

We calmed down. We are going back to my hometown ...

1 c. Naomi loves it here, and you intend it to accept the Beijing project.

So we're divorcing because of of my project in Beijing?

We lived in six different ones countries in the last 20 years.

That's my job, Emma, no I want to leave ICRO.

You see exactly why our marriage fails.

- No, we need to talk about this, but not before the leech ... No offense.

No problem.

It all comes down to talking. Nothing changes.

I want a divorce!

Okay, what about Naomi?

She will still have a father. She can be a vi whenever you have a.

When he returns from Beijing or ... wherever you are sent.

Emma, you know how much we do is this business important.

More important than us!

Give me some more time and find ...

a way to get out of this project to Beijing.

I've heard that before. - Just a little more time ...

Please!

Maybe we can continue this next Friday.

Okay, next Friday. It would be better not to be late.

Baby, where are you going? - To friends.

You want me to switch you? - No, they are.

Naomi, sit down to talk. - About what? Because...

You forgot mine birthday three days ago?

I have a surprise.

Of course there is. - Stop that, Naomi.

Dad, I'm not a kid. I know what is going on between you and mom.

I know the family is breaking up and I can't do anything here.

You only think about your job and he is everything he has.

That's not true. - He knows he is.

As soon as the job is accepted you forget us.

We have moved around the world and never you didn't ask if she wanted it.

Or did I want to.

You're right.

You're right. I'm an egoist!

Arrogant and stubborn. - Yes you are.

Can I fix it.

I made this one targets of our lives.

This home is your birthday present.

We take our free time and start ...

we make things happen.

What is it?

Sorry, Dad. I have to go.

Lo day? - Yes, as you can see.

How's the lawyer doing? - Well, I said ...

to try, but it is say about my career.

I made it all too serious. - She likes it, doesn't she?

Yes, I obviously love her. - It must be poe. Make a compromise, Dek.

And let her hear what she thinks.

You may be right.

What else could he do? Is it to travel around the world seeking comfort?

I did! I got the point.

We have to adjourn the meeting until we get Jack's report.

About a week.

I know. I'm sorry too.

It's only gonna be a little late.

Thank you, hello.

I wish she could go.

Yes, me, you and yours friends on a cruise.

That would be more crowded.

There is always room. You paid for it, honey. - Consider it ...

as a reward for my business trips. - And I will.

Rakin Island, 762 km southeast of Hobart

Sali!

Stop barking. Damn dog!

Damn!

Do you see that?

Sali!

Get up, sleeper.

You're early. - I just love my job.

Sleeping in an office. What a weekend?

I had to work that damn report.

Of course you are.

Yes, and I avoided Emmy ...

That's what I thought!

Jack Tate, telephone service!

Brent Durant, from state of emergency in Tasmania.

Hi, Brent. This is Dek.

What?

Southport Plaa, 67 km southeast of Hobart

Research Star North Star

Dek! - Brent!

I'm sorry! - Just tell us what happened.

We have 15 bodies!

No survivors.

They appear to be engines continued to follow the course.

The ship was stranded, but without any survivors.

What killed them? - We do not know. It looks like considerable tissue damage.

Tissue damage? What is the tissue damage?

We only find out after the autopsy.

Listen, me and Zoe have to go on a boat.

Maybe Alex left her videos and data.

And we could explain what happened.

Here is the chaos ...

Careful, Zoi, the floor is slippery. - It's all wet!

What the hell happened here?

This can be a problem ... it's wet.

Walter, I'm on board "The North Star".

Alex and everyone else ... are dead! - What? Who died? What does that say?

Alex and the whole crew is dead! - How did that happen?

They all have some tissue damage. The whole ship is full of condensation.

Jack, none of that pria makes no sense.

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.

I know. I know how crazy that sounds.

What do we tell their families?

Autopsy is ongoing and I'll let you know immediately.

Emma going to do it?

Yes.

What about Alex's records? There must be some evidence, anything?

We have Alex's hard disk but is oteen.

Well, in the meantime, I'll provide for our people to start working on that.

Call me as soon as I have something new.

They're all dead!

I talked to Alex three days ago.

Three days, and now he's gone!

Let's get out of here.

Ready? - I think so.

Many data appear to be leaked.

Latest weather videos the opportunity is from the satellite.

What the hell happened there?

Did you see that? - What was that?

The data was damaged, but it seemed is like a gap in the ozone layer.

It's too bad. We need to copy hard the disk before trying to decrypt it.

What did you find out? - Can you come here right now?

There is something to see. - Coming.

Copy the disk and compare it with meteorological data from that sector.

Dek! Bring me some chocolate.

When's the last time checked the eer level, Zoi?

I'm fine. Bring me chocolate.

Sydney, Australia - Department for emergencies

We got information on the cold front, 750 km south of the Australian coast.

I've never seen such a cold front. See isothermal analyzes?

Have you ever seen one something like this before?

No, interesting. Let's see polar temperatures.

What is the weather report from there? - Weak ...

cold current from the east, clear sky. Nothing special.

Shall we tell Barker? - No, no need.

It will probably be gone in a few hours, but follow the situation.

Emma, what's up? - Thanks for coming.

This is one of the crew members.

What killed them? - Ice crystals in the body.

Their bodies spontaneously cracked. - Ice crystals?

I know it doesn't make much sense.

Look at this.

What should I watch? - Urea cell.

Prime crystalline fractures around the edges. - Yes, I see them.

I think these cells are frozen between 28 and 38 degrees below zero!

How fast are people ... - They didn't even know what hit them.

Does he know the time of death?

What can I say so far is Friday, late in the afternoon.

He spoke to Alex shortly after.

Dek! - I'm fine.

Sorry, I need to get back to you.

Zoe, I'm here.

National Meteorological Center monitors ...

the cold front that they are caught a few hours ago.

Dek, the coordinates agree with the position of the North Star.

All right, do the simulation with our data ...

the mesosphere, the ozone layer, eclipse measurements.

Zoe, compare them to the ones in the crack.

If there's a connection, we know what we face.

Cromwell Island, 314 km southeast of Hobart

We copied the hard drive. We lost a lot ...

ship data, but we are saved a few damaged ones.

have undergone certain anomalies.

We did a simulation of that What we believe killed the crew.

We have a lot of people waiting to the answers. What's up, Dek?

The solar eclipse was caused by some unexpected impact on the mesosphere.

This caused a sudden drop in temperature and thus increasing the density of the air.

Ozone layer, which would should be a tampon ...

between us and the mesosphere, it's too thin ...

due to the effects caused by human pollution.

The atmospheric pressure is opened a crack in the ozone.

Now, as you know, warmer air the mass rises, and the cooler descends.

The mass from the mesosphere is went through the ozone ...

hole and formed a tunnel right into the Pacific ...

We assume it is mass was deadly cold.

Near "North Star". - All indications say so.

The North Star had none notion of what struck him.

How cold this one is atmosphere from the mesosphere?

Minus 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Until it reaches the surface probably will ...

halve, but enough to freeze the human body.

And the whole ship. - But this is a simulation ...

Nothing has been proven.

National Meteorological the center has discovered a cold ...

mass in the same area where was the North Star

And it's heading toward our coast.

There is scientific evidence that the coldest mass is not ...

at the poles already in the mesosphere that surrounds us.

Walter, according to my professional in my opinion this cold mass is deadly!

That's your opinion, Jack.

Walter, there are compelling arguments. It should investigate.

Jack's right. Temperature in the mesosphere ...

is about 60 degrees below zero.

Can he confirm to me that this mass is real?

Documented and verified? - Not yet, as I said

The data from the ship was destroyed by cold mass and needs satellite ...

Jack, we can't cry the public without solid evidence.

Collect every piece of information it owns and send us for analysis.

I'll make a new team with Don Duvall and Kristin Casey ...

who will also analyze it this anomaly.

We'll let you know. We'll be in touch.

As a precautionary measure, i think we should look ...

from our cells to monitor the cold mass and uoe any abnormalities.

Tell the team not to go until after get a report from Jack Tate.

Do that!

We gotta be a little bad, Zoe.

Loi?

Something illegal? - Let's call it "something serious."

What are we going to do? - We use military ...

satellite to check the ozone hole.

Don't need a passcode?

Not required. I have access to the system at the small door.

You really are a bad boy. - Please,

we are half the data received from the satellite.

I have to work fast, I don't know how long they will have access.

Done!

Where are you going?

Until the emergency service in Tasmania. I can't wait for Walter.

Brent has to prepare plan and act.

Marlen, he has to go. We need a third.

I can not. My parents are going to kill me.

Promise that you will. - I'm covering you.

Hi! - See you!

I can't believe we're doing this. -Don't worry, it's okay.

Relax. Your mother thinks you're with me.

We are free to do whatever we want.

I don't always know. - Don't worry, Naomi.

It'll be fun.

Listen, Dek, this is something above my position.

Cracks in the ozone layer, very cold current killing from the stratosphere.

Mesospheres! And it matches a cold front that killed the crew.

There may be some other explanation. A chemical on board, maybe CO2.

Come on, Brent. That doesn't make any sense.

The fact is we have no answers.

No, we only have 15 bodies!

I know about the official autopsy report and no cold front information.

But will we have results tomorrow morning?

Tomorrow morning it will be too late.

By then many people in the Tasmanians may die!

There's no proof!

Brent, who she was last year reported for hurricane in Queensland?

You're! And within an hour we followed him. - Right, reported ...

alone before it meteorological station noticed.

Can I lose my job if I post danger based only on theory.

What would I say?

I don't know, you can say: maybe you do the cold front could come.

I can not! - This cold one the front is real, Brent.

You as the chief of service for there are emergencies ...

responsibility. People need to be informed.

Is there anything I can do should we know, Dek?

No, Sam, believe me, there is dangers, I would be the first to know.

I can't believe it, you are so lo as my ef.

Go back to the lab and bring me something other than theory.

Theories don't kill people, Brent.

This cold front to come towards the coast, do the same ...

thing like on the North Star. Many people will die.

The Meteorological Center says if it hits,

the temperature will be lower only 10 degrees.

Gree! I'm going to go now pick up Naomi from school.

Call your parents and tell them to go in the lab. They'll be safe there.

We have a generator, isolated is and we bring supplies.

Are you sure, Dek?

No Emmy, this is not a reaction, know how to be smart.

When they understand what it's happening, it's too late.

Marlen!

Where's Naomi? - I'm not sure, Mr. Tate.

Marlen, this is important. I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't.

I don't want to be involved.

Where is she?

She went to the beach with Freni and Dherod. Tell her I didn't tell you that.

I'm sorry, you better be you two come alone.

What, let me sit you on Mathematics class with Mr. Preston?

I'll check the waves. - Go ahead. We'll change.

Good.

Derod will love my new costume. - Did your mother see him?

She would freak out.

Hello, this is Naomi's phone. What do you want?

So?

The waves could be better. - Nothing else?

No clouds. - Yeah, great.

You two raise the ator. I'm going surfing.

Dek, according to the last one satellite report,

Ryan's salary is on the way. It's probably going to hit first.

How close are you? - Another hour.

You drive right into it? - I know, trust me, but I have no choice.

You want to punish Naomi, right? - For the rest of your life, Zoi.

You got Margaret and Harold. Leave a message.

Mom! Daddy! When you hear this one message, call me. It's urgent!

Well, do you miss me? - He knows that.

I wish you were here. Walter, you would love it.

The buffet is fantastic.

Crabs every night. And they have a great casino.

That sounds exciting. - Is everything OK?

You're not in the office yet.

I'm sorry, dear, stuff are quite problematic.

Because of an accident involving one from our ships. - How bad is it?

Pretty bad.

Honey, I'm sorry.

I'm not going to bother you with the details now. Enjoy your cruise.

I love you. - I love you too.

All stations send new data. Don and Kristina are just arriving.

When will the analysis be ready?

Say, in two or three days. - No, tell them I want them in 24 hours.

They won't like it ... - That's a priority.

Give them all the resources who need them.

Add another team. justified overtime work. - Alright.

My father calls me again.

Whatever you intend, don't! - Do not worry. I won't answer.

Hello, this is Naomi's phone. What do you want?

I still can't believe it that they want a lawyer.

Maybe she'll be calm. This often happens.

I hope! - I'm going into the water. Going?

Please!

Get your feet wet.

Great, Derod.

Look, what's that?

strange!

Jack, I need to talk to you. How far are you from the beach?

Five minutes. Stii u. - Hurry up!

It's damn cool!

I'm looking at something amazing.

I've never seen anything like it before.

Naomi!

No, my father! - What?

Dad, I swear we can to return before dusk.

Really, Mr. Tate.

Shut up and listen to me. Do you see that fog?

That fog is so cold that it will kill us! - What?

Now we have to get to the car. Immediately! - Derod! - Freni!

Stay here! - Freni! - Derod!

Derod! - Mr. Tate.

Derod, get out of the water!

Mr. Tate, what's going on? - Get out of the water!

Cold'll kill you!

Come on, Derod, come on! Hurry up!

Quick, Derod!

Derod, hurry up!

Freni, run!

Quick!

Run, run!

Hold on!

This is Brent. - Brent.

She arrived on the beach1 - What's up?

Cold mass! - I know, we're taking steps.

No, you know. She just killed two kids on the beach!

What does that say?

The mass of cold air must be about 40 degrees below zero!

So what does this mean for the human body? - That's impossible.

It kills in a second. He's heading for the city.

Okay.

I'm sorry about Freni and Derod.

Dad, what's the hell?

The hole in the ozone layer is missed this cold mass.

which formed a cold one front, huge and in ...

it's able to freeze everything it touches.

Shall we die?

Shall we?

Not unless I help.

Mom! Dad! - Emma!

What is it doing here? - Tried alone to call, but to no avail.

Is everything all right?

The ice front is approaching.

We have to go to the lab. She is better equipped.

Jack and Naomi are waiting for us there.

We're not going anywhere. If it arrives ice wave, we have wood and supplies.

Dad, you don't understand. It's not a natural cold wave.

It's cold enough to kill. - I've never heard anything like this before.

It must have gone to someone brain from radiation,

for looking at the monitor everyday.

Harold.

Besides, something would said on television?

Would you tell us about it?

They don't know what Dek knows.

I'm telling you, cold wave he can't kill.

Dad, we have to trust him.

Dek! - Naomi is with me. - I'm fine, Mom.

Listen, I estimated the speed at which this cold is moving. Where are you?

At the parents. Let's pick up something supplies and we meet at the lab.

You and yours stay there. You would not arrive on time.

You and Naomi gonna be fine?

We'll be fine. We're on our way to the lab.

Jack, how long will that take?

I don't know, Emma, it looks like It'll get worse before ...

than the better. So start drowning.

Save everything you can to burn and warm.

Hoem.

See you soon, honey? - Hi, Mom.

Shall we go to the lab? - No!

Jack told me to stay here, because it moves too fast.

Australian Departments for emergencies

Sir, Brent Durant, from the department of ...

emergency situations Tasmania is on line 11.

Go ahead.

The cold front engulfed Tasmania.

The temperature has dropped below that point.

When did it happen? - Just a few moments ago.

Thanks for the report.

Listen to everything!

The cold front hit us.

The temperature dropped far below that point.

We need to open protocols immediately for emergency ...

due to severe weather the troubles in Tasmania.

Call all TV and radio stations.

We have to do it in a minute. Shall we go national? -Yes!

We have to warn everyone Australian cities and villages.

There's a disaster ahead of us!

We interrupt the emergency news program

An unexpectedly cold front has reached is south of Tasmania ...

And in about two hours, it'll be there Hobart with very low temperatures

Low temperatures in the middle of spring?

Look for places where it exists 'Wood stove ...'

or fireplace and have a warm blanket at hand.

Please, listen emergency radio station ...

051 on weather and traffic.

Stay calm and unique.

Wait, it's just cold front, no apocalypse.

Someone has to pay!

Climate Congress, Philadelphia

Confirmed, cold mass in Tasmania is 40 degrees below zero.

So that killed the crew. - That killed the crew.

There is no doubt. It comes like an ice fog ...

and wraps everything around him. That explains why ...

the meat was frozen. - My God. Incredible!

Let's meet with Donom, Michael and Kristin.

And let's find a way to say this.

I sincerely recommend you yes and include the Board in the board.

He knows best what's going on.

I can't, it would just complicate things. We have his information.

Are you sure? - Yeah, I'm sure, let's go.

Thank you, John.

Jack, the download has been completed.

According to data from a military satellite, there is a hole in the ozone layer.

I have the correct coordinates and proof that a cold front created from the mesosphere.

Okay, transfer the data to ICRO, NOAA and the rescue service.

Good.

How are you doing? - Lonely.

I was left alone when they were declared a state of emergency.

Didn't I ask you that, Zoe? - I'm fine.

I'll be there soon.

I hope there won't be a longer one on the way. The cold front will be here in an hour.

Good reason to include heating, the warmer the better.

It should have a pair of jackets in dressing rooms and several blankets in the closet.

We need it. - I'll do it.

I'm afraid!

Yes, I do too.

Oh yeah!

They call your mom when we arrive at the lab.

I don't want you and your mom divorced.

Neither do I.

Naomi, no matter what happens, we're always going to be family, right?

Good.

Me and your mom stay always friends.

Let's not talk about friendship, okay?

Alright.

Damn!

Insulin!

Report from Tasmanian Meteorological center, show that Hobart ...

affected by a sudden ice wave.

Shelters are open for people who have no protection against the cold.

The cold front is characterized like a deadly, icy fog

Ladies and gentlemen, says the captain, We begin our descent towards Hobart

Attention, 511, here Hobart flight control.

We're in a very dangerous position weather.

Hobart flight control, repeat the last download.

We're very dangerous weather.

Meteorological service no can predict ...

how long it will take this cold front.

Officials advise the population ...

Mom, it's getting very cold. - Not now, I'm on the phone ...

Mom, the radios said yes we have to get to the school ... - I'm on the phone!

Mom, we gotta go!

Mom, quick!

My God, mom!

Quickly!

We just found out that the plane crashed in Hobart ...

The authorities speculate that it is ice fog that engulfed Tasmania ...

probably the cause. Parliament has declared a state of emergency.

The Prime Minister mobilized the army to help ...

All military personnel returned to the bases to help with rescue missions.

When we arrive, we need to be quick. Understand?

Yes.

Quick, run!

Zoi! - Dek! Naomi! Thank God you made it!

The colda has arrived. Are we ready? - I think we are.

Daddy, will the electricity go out?

Generators are provided for low temperatures.

As long as they work, we will be warm.

This is crazy! Ice temperature the fog is minus 32 degrees!

By morning, at least half of it will be. - Nearly 15 degrees below zero!

That's not funny!

Neither should it be!

Jack, are you and Naomi okay? - Yeah, we're in the lab.

Hobart is hit!

People are dying! - I know. Listen to me. Whatever ...

intends, not go out. There will be every moment.

Dad, can I speak to her?

Mom, it's me. I'm very scared. - Naomi, look, everything's going to be okay.

- Naomi? - Mom ... Mom?

Mom? - Naomi!

The line broke!

The connection is broken!

Sluajte!

Let me in!

Someone's out! - Dear God!

Help me! Let me in!

Shut the door!

Let's take it close to the fire!

Would be fine.

I ... I don't feel ...

You're okay, okay?

Where is... my brother?

I'm sorry. You were alone.

He strayed ... in the fog.

Listen, I'm sure found some shelter.

My parents... they told me to take care of him.

It's okay, it's okay!

Where are my pills?

I got them!

It's a heart cure!

This shock can kill her!

That's not reasonable. They should have warned us better.

Sir, we just did connected to the video system ...

traffic in Hobart. Let's go live.

Ice Age!

Sir, you have a video call.

Brent. What's going on? - We tried, but it was too late.

Where are you? - Central with 300 citizens.

30 have severe frostbite.

And we're in luck the generators are still working.

Have you prepared any shelters?

Yes, we used school halls, community centers ...

and another couple. But not everyone does generators.

Losses? - Everything happened quickly.

Brad, how many are dead, what do you think? - I don't know ... I think it's a lot.

Dad, when will this stop? -I don't think so.

No, until we are stopped flow ...

cold masses through the mesosphere, and that ...

let's do it, yes close the ozone hole.

Zoi, send me the center's information protection of marine areas.

I'm going.

Last Thursday, it's Alex recorded flow from ...

mesospheres in the same sector where there is a crack.

I'm checking the data electromagnetic radiation.

That flow is an integral part something that happened that day.

Scientific Institute of atmosphere, Philadelphia

Walter, this is Dek, I think to know how to ...

i close the crack but I need support.

Jack, we're working on it. You just have to take care ...

for the safety of his family and himself.

What are you going to do?

We close the crack using three hundred balloons ...

which the particles will carry of magnesium in the ozone layer.

High altitude aircraft will catch fire phosphorus material with its rockets ...

Which will lead to an explosion which will ionize ozone

And close the crack.

It is a joint action of the United States and Australia and will apply immediately.

Walter, that won't work.

The only way to close the crack is to work with nature, not against it.

The best of the best scientists they can't go wrong, Dek!

They were wrong, Walter. Trust me. Instead of ...

attacks the problem from below by means of means

Let's hit him from top to bottom!

Let's stimulate the mesosphere, so nature creates ozone through lightning.

You're not part of the team, Dek.

Just send me yours information to look at.

Everything has been said.

It's a mistake, Walter! - I have to go!

What should we do? - Let's do it simulation, without their support.

Walter's not your big fan, is he?

His ego will kill a lot of people!

The result of the explosion will ionize air, creating more ozone.

the crack is repaired and the cold front stops.

I'll run the US operation along with General Stratton.

We understood that one your Queensland base ...

has an atmospheric center with many balloons

Yes, that's right.

Okay, make sure they are correct. We will ...

coordinate with your department for their delivery.

Our office will be here soon pass on all details and information.

Zoe, how's it going?

well, except I haven't slept in 24 hours.

Dek! - What?

I did a search for ozone a character-based hole.

Look!

Jo three ozone holes.

What's going on?

It seems to be the first a crack caused a wave ...

through the ozone layer i began to open new holes.

And it's getting worse!

New cracks will create new ice waves!

Sir, the cold mass is over via Tokyo! - Tokyo!

It has nothing to do with by our crack. - And no.

Many reports are coming. New areas have been identified.

One above Japan. Jo three other endorsements!

My God!

Russia, England and China!

London, England

Moscow, Russia.

Damn it!

I'm really worried about them. - Honey, there's always hope.

Jack is smart. He is able to survive.

I know he's smart. That is great.

And an idealist, an egocentric.

And in this hell, if anyone can sauva Naomi, that's him, isn't it?

Anyone out there?

Who am I talking to? Reception!

Dil Wilson! Who am I talking to?

Harold Stewart! Where are you from?

Bar Harbor, Maine, USA. Where are you from?

I speak from Hobart, Australia.

We have problems! - Australia?

It's icy in your country. Humans and animals are dying everywhere!

I know, son ...

If there is a tv next to you or radio, including ...

national news and let me hear it!

I'd like to know what's going on here.

this? Did we lose him? - No, I don't think so.

I just got some new news.

It's a disastrous time spread globally.

Europe and Asia are hit now.

The American authorities are declared a state of emergency.

Cold mass may arrive at to the coast at all times.

I have to tell my mother! - A child?

Are you there? Your mother can wait. This is important!

Baby, are you there?

Pete, call me Walter Vinslava in Philadelphia.

Yes sir.

How's Tokyo? - Thousands of dead!

Walter Winslav on Line 91. - Okay.

Walter, we're ready magnesium balloons.

Great news. What height did you set for them?

Empty space.

Before the explosion we would be at goal with a certain 90%.

So you're on the right track? - Yes, we are.

Walter, what about the other cracks?

Well, ICRO coordinates with the rest 12 countries to do the same.

Thank the people of me.

Great job.

Sydney, Australia

Please sit down everyone.

Everything is OK.

We are safe in this building. I guarantee you.

Generators provide us with heat.

A lot of people expect us to do our job.

We are their last bastion of defense.

Okay folks, we start with one hour. Let's do it.

My personal opinion is yes Jack should be included in this.

Simulation showed us 85% success. - We don't have a backup plan!

Even if the simulation is correct, we are left with a 15% chance of collapse.

Jack has a backup plan. He's working on it. - How do you know?

He told me, she sent I gave him some information.

It's a blank shot, Temi,

let's focus to this job here.

Pete, is there any recent news? - Six new, cool fronts.

We estimated that 20% of the planet is affected.

The only good news is yes launch area ...

not affected by ice fog.

Australian Air Force Base Queensland, Australia

Dames!

What's going on?

I have about a dozen left balloons to prepare.

I want a report from everyone ten minutes, okay?

I understand?

Bravo 203 and 207 ready for launch.

Sir, we've discovered a cold front!

80 km from the nose of the Adams plane!

How is that possible? - A new hole must have opened.

So far I have not seen one to move so fast.

Check Western data wind and see the speed.

Satellite data confirms ...

it's a big, icy fog. - Temperature?

32 C below zero.

Call the nose of the Adams plane and let the planes take off.

How long does it take them to reach their destination?

By location, by about 45 minutes. But the balloons are ...

it takes an hour to they get the height they need.

James, launch balloons now!

We have an emergency on the nose Adams!

I understand!

The countdown will start in 15 minutes. - We don't have time! Start, start!

Attention, launch of all unit. I repeat, launch all units!

All balloons are released!

All balloons have them optimal flight conditions.

They've reached the height of the polar stratosphere.

Does he know anything about the launch? - Nothing!

All the governments of the world know What's going on, but ...

Typically, citizens will the last to find out.

How's the simulation going!

Calculate the blast radius and magnesium dispersions.

Replace it with ammonium nitrate. Higher power, less weight.

We monitor the weather disorder 200 meters from us

Start planes 1 and 2!

All crew at the shelter!

This is Dek. - It's me, Tommy. They had to hurry with ...

launch. Cold front hit the nose of the plane.

Did the planes succeed?

Yes, but we lost communication with the nose Adams.

Dek, I'm really worried that this mission fails.

Tommy, can we do something? are we monitoring the progress of this mission?

Yes, I'll send you a link.

It's a war channel.

Thanks, I owe you one more time. - What are your friends for?

Sydney, Australia

What is the situation with balloons?

Better than we expected. Will be on target in 2 minutes.

We confirm that they are balloons reached the target and the height.

Bravo Leader, what's your status?

47 seconds to maximum altitude. Missiles are ready.

This is Bravo Leader.

We've reached our maximum firing height.

Bravo 2 and 3 you can fire missiles!

I understand, I fire rockets!

Missiles are on the way!

We're tracking missiles that were fired at the target!

Missiles 26 miles from the target!

Missiles are 16 km from the target!

Missiles are 80 seconds from the finish line!

We release loads magnesium balloons!

Magnesium is scattered in target location!

The projectiles are 30 seconds from the detonation!

Missiles are 16 seconds from the finish line!

5 seconds from detonation!

I really care about my mom. - And I.

It's funny, so it doesn't look like that. - Where did you get that from?

You didn't mention it and you didn't did get in touch with her.

Duo, this is because we are stuck here.

And I have a job I have to do to do. I can't ...

I focus on something It's beyond my control.

The world is freezing and mom probably is already dead! - Do not do that!

You can't think that way.

Duo, right now, I wanna know that I love you more than anything in the world.

Let's get out of this, You, me, your mom ...

And the rest of the world. - How, is there any hope?

300 balloons would bring in magnesium to the ozone hole and it would ...

should create enough ozone that will shut it down.

I hope so!

I very much hope that Vinslav's plan to succeed.

Magnesium was supposed to work. The hole should have closed by now!

What is the status of the hole? - Now the latest information is coming.

Ozone was increased by 6.7%.

The hole is closed only 40%.

This is Walter Vinslav.

The explosion had few affected the ozone hole.

Supposedly, dispersion was very wide.

We failed!

We are still in impossibility to contact ...

the nose of the Adams plane, but ...

We will discuss ours soon the following actions. In the meantime ...

continue with your emergency measures.

And save the population.

Vinslav.

Damn it, Walter!

It's up to you now, isn't it?

This is how it looks.

What would you like the system for delivery needed?

Two high altitude rockets, loaded ammonium nitrate.

Ammonium nitrate?

Unlike balloons, we would supply ammonium -...

nitrate into the mesosphere and ignited it above the ozone hole

That should lead to reactions, chain reactions.

Basically, they would take advantage of nature ...

To cure itself.

That's it? - Yes, that's it!

When we close the hole, from the mesosphere ...

stop going against it cold front and he dies.

This may be our last chance!

I know. If it doesn't work, I guess yes for a short while ...

weather, the effects of the cold fronts to be irreversible.

You should have been with from the beginning, Jack.

That was a mistake.

Walter, there is no other option.

All right, contact Straton about the rockets.

Meanwhile, do ...

the necessary target calculations and cargo quantities.

happiness!

Let's finish our work.

Are you sure? I was talking with my wife two days ago.

Maybe the ship changed direction? Of course, because of the cold front.

Maybe he got lost? - No!

Clearly the ship was hit ice fog

Soon after, we did lost every signal.

No, I ... I get it! - I'm sorry, sir!

Is there anything else I can do for you? - No.

I...

No, I'm fine!

Thank you. - Goodbye, sir.

Are you okay, Zoe?

Yes, I'm fine.

It's because of the weather.

Simulation no. 4 - complete

Lightning in Gigawolts

This task would be sufficient to close the crack.

Finish the calculations be ready soon.

Zoi!

What is it to her.

She's a diabetic. Zoi! Where's your insulin?

I'm gone ... two days ago.

Two days ago?

I didn't think we would be here so long.

I can go to town. -And the budgets?

The computer completes the simulation. I can't do anything else.

I have to go. - Dad, it's very cold outside.

It is only 10 C below zero outside. If the engine started, it would be good.

Please beware!

Don't let her fall asleep, otherwise he falls into a coma.

I'll be back as soon as I can.

Zoe, stay with me.

What is the situation with launch, General?

We have ready missiles that Awaiting data loading.

Will be launched from the Vandenberg base,

in California and so will we coordinate with NATO.

Drink this.

Who is that?

Naomi Tate. - Jack's daughter? -Yes

Where's your father? It worked for me for some important calculations.

He went to bring Zoi insulin. She's dying!

Many more people will die ...

if I don't have those budgets. Does he know where they are?

I think the computer is something he ended when he left.

Target path calculation. Ended.

Mr. Vinslav, I think so simulation complete.

Can you send me?

I think we should wait. She'll be back any moment.

Naomi, listen to me now, I need these calculations.

We can't wait for your father.

The ozone hole has opened above the US.

If it hits the launch area, everything will be too late.

Did you go to the submit site?

Yes, I'm just collecting all the data into it.

Good girl.

I think now the data is being sent.

No no!

Naomi!

You steal! - Excuse me, just ...

I need a cure. - Want to rob my pharmacy?

No, please ...

Don't hurt me.

I'm not going to hurt you.

I just need insulin.

The woman is dying!

We are all dying. The world is dying.

Why did God allow this to happen?

It's not God's fault. We are alone ...

made themselves polluting our atmosphere.

Don't worry, come on.

He's a good man.

It's good for your mother ... behind you.

Zoe, stay with me.

Zoi!

She has beautiful hair.

My daughter has beautiful hair, too.

Her name is ... Naomi.

About your age. There are 16.

Most beautiful.

She died!

I'm sorry, honey.

Jo one hole opened. The launch will be threatened soon.

Is there any way to contact Jack?

No.

What's going on there!

Daddy! - What happened?

The generator stopped. It's icy here. - Yeah.

Please tell me it is simulation complete?

Dad, Vinslav called and I tried to give him ...

I'm sending data, but the power went out.

Will it be okay? - I hope so.

Are they ready for launch?

Vinslav was quite panicked. He said that ...

every time there can be the affected launch area.

I have to start the generator.

Stay with her. Turn on your computer as soon as the power comes on.

Air Base, Vadenberg, USA

The rockets are ready. We have to give coordinates.

Where are the budgets?

I'm under pressure.

The launch area may be affected every moment.

Understood, General. We have information in one hour.

We don't have one hour. My people are mine said we had a maximum of 40 minutes.

If we don't get that information now, this is going to be a doomsday.

San Francisco, USA.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Hong Kong

Amsterdam, Netherlands

You made it. - Let's see that are the budgets still here!

It's good, we didn't lose data.

Sending!

Jack's calculations are coming. Call me Straton right away.

Immediately.

The command confirms rocket launch.

Normal flight parameters. Birds on the way.

38 minutes to the finish line!

2880 km to the finish line. Detonation in 7 minutes!

1120 km to the finish line!

80 km to the finish line. Detonation in 24 seconds!

15 seconds to detonation! Freight release started!

8 ... 7 ... 6 ...

5 ... 4 ... 3 ...

2 ... 1 ...

Detonation confirmed! Did it work?

We'll find out soon!

We just got a confirmation yes is the US and Australian Army ...

launched three rockets that exploded ...

over the sky of Australia!

If this mission were to succeed, a hole in ozone it would close ...

The hole should be closed by now!

We receive the latest satellite data.

Ozone level is up 80%!

80%! - We did it!

The explosion was completely successful!

The ozone hole is closing!

Great job, Jack!

We made it!

I'm sorry about Elizabeth.

And other countries are doing well launched rockets,

closing the ozone crack and stopping the ...

this disaster that is has hit many countries.

Reports come from all over the world and They're talking about breaking the ice wave.

Have you heard?

Sources indicate that the cold wave is gone ...

Mom! - Naomi, honey.

My baby!

May I get it from you some more time.

My contract obliges me that I have to stay on ...

work two weeks after I quit.

I can give you two weeks.

In fact, I can give it to you three or four or ...
