[Episode 1]

21

Ladies and Gentlemen, we currently fly at a cruise altitude of 10km.

22

We're going to go through some turbulence. Go back to your seat and fasten your seat belt please.

23

Miss, how are you?

24

Please get me a cup of warm water. Thanks.

25

All right.

26

Your water.

27

Thanks.

28

[ Fashionable, Ellassay, Paris Fashion Show will pull open the curtains...]

29

[Blue Flame]

30

We're going through turbulence.

31

All passengers, please, stay sit and buckle up your seat belt.

32

Calm down, please.

33

Yi'en, marry me.

34

I don't want the company to become so business oriented.

35

Fashion is a business. Isn't it our dream to bring Ellassay to France?

36

We clearly saw him pass by. He was passing by just like this, and then...

37

Are you okay? Don't move.

38

Be calm. Calm.

39

Marseilles, France.

40

Why is it every time when my Maniere's disease surface,

41

I will get memories from the past?

42

Miss, we've arrived.

43

Excuse me.

44

Who was the man that helped me during the turbulence?

45

Can you help me find out?

46

Sorry, everything happened so fast. I didn't pay attention.

47

I don't know who that man was.

48

Thanks.

49

You're welcome.

50

- Are you free tonight?

- Yeah.

- Are we having dinner?

51

Okay.

52

I'm his fiancee. Can you leave us between us, please?

53

Is this true? Come on, let's get out of here.

54

What the hell is this?

55

I didn't know that I have a such beautiful fiance.

56

Please sit down.

57

I need to speak to you privately.

58

An elegant woman normally will not interrupted, a man in conversation with other people.

59

Not showing up for an appointment, is also not what a gentleman should do.

60

As a leader of a business, if you don't even have this basic trustworthiness,

61

a smart businessman should not have this kind of attitude, Mr. Boris!

62

A week ago, Ellassay...

63

Your water, Madam.

64

Thank you.

65

Look inside your purse.

66

Some people say that magic tricks are an illusion plus a scam.

67

I actually think magic can alert people.

68

Why do you say that?

69

The truth behind magic can remind us not to be mesmerize by illusions.

70

Be careful of the truth underneath the thorns.

71

This is not the flower you had before.

72

If I didn't guess correctly,

73

that flower is inside your sleeve right now.

74

This flower was given by that waitress,

75

she put it in my purse when I wasn't paying attention before.

76

Is that waitress your helper?

77

How do you know?

78

Only she had the opportunity.

79

You definitely don't have any magic.

80

Since you haven't even touch my purse, then you must have a helper.

81

And that waitress, was the only person near me while you were performing magic

82

Therefore there must be some kind of secret signal between the two of you.

83

Ms. Shen, not only are you persistent,

84

but also very smart.

85

Are you looking for this?

86

You are a woman of many surprises.

87

Can I date you?

88

I will be happy to If it is for business.

89

Why are you so persistent about your business?

90

Because I have a dream that I must achieve.

91

A dream?

92

Ms. Shen, tomorrow night I will be at a party in Paris.

93

I hope to see you there.

94

See you at the party.

95

See you tomorrow, Ms. Shen.

96

Besides life and death, there is nothing that can't be achieve thru efforts.

97

Sometimes the trick is to find the right person to turn things around.

98

[ Paris, France.]

99

Miss, your mask.

114

Horace!

115

I'd never thought you'd exude such an alluring charm when you dance.

116

What's wrong?

117

Nothing's wrong. Finding you hasn't been easy.

118

Can we discuss business already?

119

No, not yet.

120

Why not?

121

Because you have not danced with me yet.

122

When the lights is on, you go out.

123

Continue after her, okay?

124

Both of them can swap places. This sleeve can be readjusted.

125

Lift your head up well.

126

Yeah, stay like this. Slowly.

127

Very well done.

128

Ms Ouyang Xizi, you sure live up to your international reputation.

129

Your performance has been charming today.

130

This is just a small rehearsal.

131

I've already had my fair share of all the major fashion shows.

132

You are already a part of Ellassay. I wish our future cooperation together will be well.

133

Mr Qin's fashion designs are immaculate and delightful,

134

it is my honor to represent Ellassay.

135

Ms Ouyang Xizi is too polite.

136

Let's work well together.

137

Let's work well together.

138

Let's go.

139

Isn't she just a model?

140

Boss, why do you give in to her so much?

141

Just because she is popular.

142

Go and look at her contract again. Just in case there are any mistakes.

143

Okay.

144

You spent so much time to finalise the contract with Boris last night,

145

why don't you rest for a bit longer today?

146

No problem. I've had enough rest already.

147

Even though it has been tiring, at least I now have the contract.

148

With it, acquiring Desir is now one step closer.

149

Tomorrow's performance is up to you.

150

It's been five years.

151

This day has finally come.

152

Our dream..

153

is finally coming true.

154

Congratulations to the two designers for accomplishing our first milestone.

155

[08,08.2011]

156

Today is a memorable day to celebrate our first success!

157

Come, to Paris!

158

To Paris!

159

Actually, the person standing on this stage tomorrow

160

should be Qi Lei.

161

If it weren't for you, there wouldn't be this show.

162

Ellassay belongs to three of us. Qi Lei isn't here anymore.

163

So just us two should complete what the three of us wanted.

164

Do you still remember?

To Paris.

165

To Paris.

166

This time, we are really proud Ellassay has entered the international market.

167

This brand expresses itself through passion of life. It keeps the elegant's image of women.

168

The unique and graceful personality of the urban modern women.

Did you see Ouyan? Tell me, did you see her?

175

Did you see Ouyan?

176

No, sorry. I didn't, but you can look for her over there.

177

Did you see Ouyan?

178

No, this is the point, did you see what time is it? We're looking for her everywhere.

179

We have no news and the show is going to start.

180

Okay, I'm going to find her.

181

Okay.

182

Boss, what do we do?

183

Ouyang Xizi should have arrived at the show 30 minutes ago.

184

But no one can find her or reach her phone.

185

Have you looked in the show venue?

186

We looked everywhere.

187

Ms Shen, here is the person who you wanted to meet.

188

I don't think I know you, Ms.

189

Get in the car, please.

190

You can close it.

191

And why did you make me come out?

192

You have to help me doing something very important.

193

One hour before show opening

194

Boss! I just got a message from Ouyang Xizi.

195

She actually chose this time to back out, isn't she just openly opposing us?

196

I got it. Is everything that I asked for ready?

197

Everything is prepared, but do we have time

198

The show is just about to start.

199

What do you think?

200

Show is almost starting. Hurry! Hurry!

201

Hurry! Get everything ready.

202

Is there a problem?

203

I heard Ms Xizi is not going to come. Is this true?

204

If she doesn't come, who will do the finale?

205

The question is, will the parade be cancelled?

206

Time is up! What are you doing?

207

Okay girls! We're ready.

208

Be prepared to give your best efforts.

209

Boss, is she ok?

210

We are almost starting.

211

20 minutes from opening

212

Ms Shen, theres news that Miss Ouyang Xizi is not showing up today, is this true?

213

We just heard that our request for an interview with Ouyang Xizi was rejected. Why is this?

214

Is she really not coming today?

215

Please everyone don't get anxious. Today's show will start soon.

216

Your questions will get answers.

217

I will add some reassurance - today's show will definitely be wonderful.

218

CEO Shen. CEO Shen, you haven't answer our question.

219

Will Ms. Ouyang XIzi come to the show?

220

CEO Shen.

221

Look at the news article.

222

It says that Ouyang Xizi will be absent from the show.

223

No way.

224

It says on the brochure that Ouayng Xizi is the highlight of the show.

225

That's great!

226

I'm really glad to see you again.

227

You stand out.

228

This idea is so amazing.

229

Boss.

230

Some people on the internet are still criticizing us

231

They're saying that we lied and that Ouyang Xizi won't be coming.

232

Live broadcast from Paris Fashion Week,

233

the news about the absence of Ouyang Xizi brought a very embarassing situation for Ellassay.

234

But as incredible as the situation may seem, it would seems that

235

it is a strategy developed by Ellassay.

236

On stage all the models are wearing masks with the figure of Ouyang Xizi,

237

and the effect is stunning. Everyone is really impressed.

238

What's wrong?

239

That's not good. Too smart.

240

They even came up with this.

241

We're going to the show. I'm going to sue them.

242

But we've already taken that person's money.

243

Do you think we can still take that money?

244

This wonderful fashion show not only combines pop art with Eastern elements,

245

it also allowed Ellassay to make a big splash in their first show.

246

We hope that in the future, we can see even more Eastern styles at Paris fashion week.

247

Who said you could use my portrait?

248

Where is Shen Yi'en? I'm going to sue her.

249

What are you going sue me on?

250

You infringed on my portrait rights.

251

Outside the door there are many reporters, you can go ahead right now.

252

How much money did they give you?

253

Two times or three times more ?

254

Someone poaching you is a good thing, it means that I have a good sense of judgement.

255

But your abrupt absence was unbecoming.

256

What are you talking about? I don't understand.

257

You don't understand but you can see it.

258

You didn't expect that this show could succeed without you.

259

Now that your plan have failed.

260

Will the other party still pay you money?

261

As for you coming back and being the villain filing a suit,

262

saying that I violated your portrait rights.

263

Ms. Ouyang Xizi, please be clear.

264

Before our contract is formally cancelled,

265

Ellassay has the right to use any of your pictures.

266

You are a smart person. I will give you an opportunity.

267

However you better not betray me again.

268

I've heard that Ms. Shen and Designer Qin Ye

269

You two were university classmates.

270

Ellassay was created by the two of you.

271

You've come this far, is there anything you'd like to tell the other person?

272

Ms. Shen is my work partner

273

and also the most important person in my life.

274

Ellassay can get to this point because of her hard work.

275

If not for her support and encouragement

276

I also wouldn't become who I am

277

or be here now.

278

So what I want to say is

279

Yi'en.

280

Thank you.

281

I also want to say, thank you.

282

At the same time, I also want to thank...

283

Ms. Ouyang Xizi.

284

Actually, the inspirations that I just spoke of,

285

were ideas mentioned by Ms. Ouyan Xizi.

286

I only executed.

287

At that time, when I was discussing my idea with Director Shen and Director Qin,

288

I was just an amateur talking to experts.

289

I never expected that it would achieve such appreciation.

290

and be finished so wonderfully.

291

I want to say thank you.

292

Thank you for your support, Director Shen.

293

Also thank you, Director Qin.

294

Thank you, you are too polite.

295

We will have a series of collaborations with Ms. Ouyan Xizi.

296

She will become our company's next season's spokesperson

297

and will personally design next season's clothing.

298

I believe that we will have a pleasant collaboration.

299

Of course.

300

This show was very unique.

301

I also heard that your company's next move

302

will be to acquire the famous fashion brand Desir.

303

May I ask if the rumors are true?

304

Our company has always been working towards becoming international.

305

So that's why we are working diligently.

306

Desir is an established French fashion house.

307

We anticipate to have more collaborations with Desir.

308

Now can we please take a photo with the three of you.

309

Yi En, I love you.

310

Please marry me.

311

Why do I feel like I'm missing something?

312

Yi' En, I love you.

313

Is it too serious?

314

Yi En, the show was such a success.

315

Let's go out and get a drink.

316

Miss, where would you like to go?

317

Pont des Arts

318

Shangri-La Hotel

Paris

319

Give it back to me.

320

Do you want to propose to my boss ?

321

How do you know?

322

Everyone knows that you like Boss.

323

The office is only this big.

324

Also, the things you do are very obvious.

325

Then do you think Yi'En knows?

326

Just treat it like she doesn't know.

327

All these years, you have been working hard along her side.

328

You should have more confidence in yourself.

329

For the past five years, she has only treated me as a friend.

330

If I show this ring,

331

I'm afraid that we won't even be friends.

332

Your happiness is in your hands.

333

It's up to you how to achieve it.

334

335

Look at that.

336

There are so many love locks here.

337

We should hang one too.

338

You actually planned for this.

339

We will hang a lock here,

340

but not today. One day, when we've create a brand together,

341

and after we have a successful show in Paris.

342

Then we will come back and hang the lock.

343

Ok.

344

Are you ok?

345

I'm fine. Thank you.

346

It's you!

347

Is your Meniere's disease (T/N: dizziness) better now?

348

You are?

349

You don't have to guard against me like a thief.

350

Including the incident on the plane, I've now helped you twice.

351

You were the one who helped me on the plane?

352

It's rare to see such a pretty woman.

353

I couldn't have remembered wrong.

354

I wanted to find you and say thank you.

355

But you already got off.

356

It's fine. You still have time now.

357

Thank you.

358

But how did you know that it was Meniere's disease?

359

If I told you that my ex-girlfriend also had this disease, would it be too much of a coincidence?

360

Did you want to hang a lock earlier?

361

How about if I help you?

362

What are you guys doing?

363

Sorry, sorry.

364

We just wanted to hang the lock up there.

365

Very sorry. Excuse us.

366

- Ok, be careful.

- Yes, yes.

367

Sorry, I originally wanted to help. I didn't mean for that to happen.

368

How about I get you another lock?

369

No need.

370

That lock can't be bought with money.

371

If you say it like that, I feel even more—

372

How about I make it up to you in another way?

373

Really not necessary. It never dealt with you.

374

Why are you being so distant?

375

I didn't have any bad intentions, just wanted to make a friend.

376

I'm really sorry.

377

I'm not in a good mood today.

378

I want to calm down alone.

379

Why didn't you tell me you left?

380

Do you know how worried I was?

381

I forgot to bring my phone.

382

I just received an email from Desir.

383

The contract signing tomorrow morning at 9AM is cancelled.

384

What's the reason?

385

The email didn't explain.

386

Have you been able to contact them?

387

Not answering the phone. Not replying to emails.

388

There might be another player

389

Investigate who has interacted with Desir recently.

390

Tomorrow, let's follow the original plan to go to Desir.

391

I need to see who is messing with us.

392

Did you figure out why Desir would suddenly change their mind?

393

Wenxi is still investigating. No matter what the reason is

394

I need to persuade Desir to continue working with us.

395

What happened? Is there an accident?

396

Traffic jam.

397

Then change to another street.

398

Traffic is jammed behind us too.

399

There really isn't anything I can do.

400

No, I have to think of something.

401

We don't have time. I'm going to go first.

402

Wait!

403

Hello Monsieur, could I borrow your motorcycle?

404

It's you.

405

I was thinking that too.

406

Can you do me a favour?

407

I only have 50 minutes to get to Desir.

408

But there's a traffic jam now.

409

It's my pleasure to be able to serve Ms. Shen.

410

But could I also have the pleasure of eating dinner together tonight?

411

No problem.

412

If you can get me to Desir in 30 mins, I will treat you for dinner.

413

Okay, deal.

414

[Police]

415

Central for David, motorcycle 1.

416

Control of a white Ducati.

417

Can you fix this?

418

So easy.

419

Sorry.

420

Just keep going along this street, it should take you there.

421

There is still enough time. Good luck.

422

Thank you. I'll be going then.

423

Excuse me.

424

My name is Shen Yien. I have a 10 o'clock meeting with Mrs. Catherine.

425

I'm sorry, but the director will not be able to meet with you.

426

Ms. Shen.

427

Excuse me, Ms Shen, but your appointment is cancelled. You didn't receive my email?

428

Catherine, Ms Shen, I'm sorry.

429

Thank you, you can leave us.

430

CEO Shen, I think I was very clear in my email.

431

I want to know what made you change your mind.

432

There is another company involved.

433

Can you tell me which company?

434

Of course. The new competitor is a French company called Lazy.

435

Ok, I understand now.

436

Desir and Lazy are both French brands.

437

I believe that Desir has always been looking for change and innovation.

438

Ellassay as a luxury Chinese brand

439

our goal is to become international.

440

So I believe that the Chinese market is your best choice.

441

Are their offer better than ours?

442

If you have any ideas, we can also discuss it further.

443

Catherine, excuse me to bothering you.

444

Hello.
