(Last week)

(The start of Queendom, the comeback war)

(6 K-pop girl groups...)

(make their comeback at the same time.)

(A battle to the top)

(What will the benefit for the final winning team be?)

(A solo comeback show for the group)

It's not something we can do because we want it.

I really want this.

That's the best benefit we can have.

(And then the 66 Drop Rule was introduced.)

(If you place 6th twice in a row, you're dropped from the show!)

(We have to work to our bones.)

(They can't give up placing first.)

(The race to become the final one has begun.)

(MAMAMOO is up first on the Queendom stage.)

I trust you guys.

(It feels like I'm up in the sky.)

(Park Bom's stage began with her secret weapon, a choir.)

Amazing.

(Touched)

(I almost teared up.)

(That was so touching.)

- That was so touching. - For sure.

Please prepare for standby.

- We're up after this performance? - We're up next?

Let's go.

(It's already time for standby.)

(As they're busy preparing,)

(there's one particular member that stands out.)

Since the other teams are already so familiar to the public,

I was worried...

that our song may not be able to get to the audience as much.

(Sighing)

We're trying a new performance,

the music is different,

and we have to practice singing live on top of all that.

All of that together...

gave me so much anxiety.

(The waiting room is filled with anxiety.)

We don't have to go right away, do we?

I panicked when I heard that it's a hit song battle.

We're now at that stage where our songs are becoming known.

We still wonder...

whether people know our songs or not,

but we have to compete with these songs.

Against people who already have so many hit songs.

(The day after the first meeting)

It's a battle of hit songs.

(Hit songs?)

(What should we perform?)

I really don't know what we should do.

Not a lot of seniors know us.

(During the filming of the first meeting)

What group are you guys?

(Oh...)

I realized that we really have to work hard.

I really realized where we're at...

and felt like we need to do better.

I'm the leader...

and that was the first time we were meeting everyone.

I have a goal...

for the end of this show.

I really want our seniors to be impressed by us.

- Me too. - I want to show...

OH MY GIRL's music to them.

I want to show them...

(OH MY GIRL...)

is this great.

(is this great.)

I want them to say that OH MY GIRL is great.

I want people to rethink...

and be impressed by us.

Let's talk about what song we want to perform.

What we want to perform?

I want to perform "The Fifth Season",

because that's our latest song...

and it was the biggest hit that we have.

People think of "The Fifth Season" when they think of us.

Arin's ending pose earned quite some attention.

It was so good.

(The best way to end the song)

Are you suggesting this song because of yourself?

My plan has been revealed.

It was her plan.

- She's so cute. - I want to suggest "Secret Garden".

- "Secret Garden"? - Because...

that was the song that gave us our first win.

It's a meaningful song to us.

(It's the special song...)

(that got OH MY GIRL their first win.)

That's the song that a lot of people love.

It's the song that got us our first win.

It's a very precious song to us.

I hope we perform this in the first round...

and that it'll bring us good luck again.

You're saying that this is our lucky song?

Yes, something like that.

- It brings us good luck. - Indeed.

5, 6, 7, 8.

(OH MY GIRL began practicing hard for "Secret Garden".)

I think some of us tilt too much in this part.

Some of us go the other way.

Even for our ending,

we should have our heads tilted at this angle.

But some of us tilt back.

I think we really have to work on getting our angles right.

Let's work on that.

We also need to work on our spaces in this part.

(They've performed this song hundreds of times,)

(but for a more perfect stage for Queendom,)

(they're practicing for a long time.)

(With Hyojung as the leader,)

(OH MY GIRL is trying their best until the end.)

I want to show that OH MY GIRL is strong...

and that we're artists on stage.

(It's time to perform now.)

Cheers.

(Hyojung is comforting Binnie, who's feeling extra nervous.)

(I want to prove to everyone that we're artists on stage.)

(How will this determination be reflected in the performance?)

We'll meet the third group of performers on Queendom.

They're the queens of themes that are ever-changing.

It's OH MY GIRL.

2, 3. I found you, OH MY GIRL.

Hello, we're OH MY GIRL.

(Nice to meet you all.)

They're starting now.

(Good luck!)

Good luck!

What's that?

(Surprised)

(Surprised)

("Secret Garden" by OH MY GIRL)

They're beautiful.

(They're so pretty.)

I feel so relaxed just by watching.

This reminds me of Christmas.

- I feel the same. - I'm getting emotional.

(Moonbyul is already excited for Christmas.)

I'm getting nervous by watching them.

It feels like a fairytale.

They're all so beautiful.

- I get so happy watching them. - Me too.

My secret garden

They're so refreshing to watch.

(OH MY GIRL showed everything on stage.)

Awesome.

- What do we do? - What do we do?

(Feeling the pressure)

Good job.

They're so pretty.

Really pretty.

As we were watching in the waiting room,

our eyes and ears had a lot of fun.

I loved the vibe that OH MY GIRL had from the start.

The ethereal vibe that they began with was so nice...

and they had such a positive energy.

I kept watching without realizing that the time was passing.

I got emotional while singing "Secret Garden".

I was so happy. It was great.

Please come out.

(The fourth group is (G)I-DLE.)

Standby, standby.

(Screaming)

I'm so nervous.

Now,

let me introduce to you, the fourth group.

(Heart beating fast)

Good luck to us!

We'll do our best.

They're monster rookies...

that wiped out all the rookie awards as soon as they debuted.

It's (G)I-DLE!

(You can tell that (G)I-DLE is more relaxed than nervous.)

(Nice to meet you all.)

(Looking forward to the performance)

(G)I-DLE!

I really want to see them.

1, 2. I.

- Hello, we're (G)I-DLE! - Hello, we're (G)I-DLE!

It's like you're going to perform in front of soldiers.

The cheering sounds amazing.

Soyeon, did you make the remix of the song for today?

You have to watch this,

but I planned out the theme...

and the whole performance.

Really?

(Look at how proud she is.)

From "LATATA" to "Uh-Oh",

I was the one who directed...

the themes for things from music videos to outfits.

Which hit song are you performing?

We're performing... 1, 2, 3.

- "LATATA"! - "LATATA"!

(Released on May 2018, "LATATA" is (G)I-DLE's debut song.)

The song was our debut song that brought us into the charts,

the first win, and even rookie awards.

That's why we chose this song.

(10 days before the competition)

- How should we... - Arrange "LATATA"?

I thought of something.

What is it?

It's a sorcerer theme.

I'm going to arrange the song so that it sounds grand.

Let's wear all black.

(Nice.)

I want to do the original dance break for the ending,

but for the middle dance break, I want to do a sorcerer theme,

as if we're enchanting the audience.

(G)I-DLE needs Soyeon.

(Do you trust me?)

Soyeon has been writing all our songs so far.

When we're working,

we almost always listen to her...

and do things as she says.

One person is going to put a spell on the audience in the beginning.

You know how in folktales,

people put spells in mysterious languages?

(Are you talking about this?)

(How do we sing that?)

Use your native language.

It's going to mean something.

I see.

Something like, our love is going to be stronger than fire.

Stronger than fire.

Stronger than fire. Something like that.

I think my voice is going to be perfect for that.

Me too. I think I can really pull this off.

- You have to cheer. - Okay.

We're now going to begin...

the audition for our sorcerer in "LATATA".

You should all want this.

Whoever is doing this part is the main for this stage.

Really?

I want this!

- Do it like a ghost. - Like a ghost?

Shuhua goes great with this.

Hey!

1, 2.

(She's saying something...)

I can do that too!

Look at me.

But...

sorry, you're too cute.

She's too cute for this.

But I thought it was all about the voice.

I'm sorry.

You're just too cute.

I guess I have to be born again to become a sorcerer.

Minnie, you're next.

(Minnie the Thai sorcerer)

How you look is important.

You're so mean.

(A true sorcerer)

(Impressed)

What was that?

Thai is such a fascinating language.

- I'll try it in Thai too! - What did you say?

Hello.

I'll make my decision now.

(Who will be the main for this "LATATA" performance?)

Thank you!

It's Yuqi!

Everyone,

(Who will Soyeon really choose?)

it's...

Minnie!

(Minnie the sorcerer)

Do it again!

Do it again.

I'll make sure to do it in a really scary way.

Make sure to breathe a lot.

Let's go.

(Minnie the sorcerer is putting on a spell of love.)

(Serious)

Can you lower your voice?

(Giving it another go as Soyeon wants)

Can you do it in a higher tone?

Something like this.

(Minnie is recording over and over to satisfy Soyeon.)

(Soyeon is building up the sound.)

Let's do a version with lots of air.

Let's do a really high-pitched one.

I want it to sound like it's playing out of a broken cassette tape.

Okay.

Let's do some parts that don't fit yet.

Can you continue on from there?

Do it fast this time, like you're putting on a real spell.

(The intro is changing to suit Soyeon's taste.)

(It's starting to really sound like a spell.)

I'm scared.

(How does this spell that Soyeon is so obsessed by sound like?)

LATATA.

You all listened to the song, right? Shall we give it a go?

((G)I-DLE's preparation for the performance was non-stop.)

I'll cut the song if we need to fix anything.

(Practicing seriously)

Let's go over this part.

This part?

Let's make sure that we end with the same pose here.

(Shuhua made a mistake in this part.)

I can't remember this part.

(Well...)

(They can't relax, even just for a minute.)

Shuhua, you keep trailing off on this part.

It's not perfectly straight. Put your hands up a little.

Like this.

Can you go over the rhythm for this part?

7, 8.

Hit, hit, hit, hit. I love you.

Make sure to look up here.

This part is good.

Shuhua, come forward. Minnie, go backward.

Let's see this part.

That's not it.

It's this.

Yes, like that.

How much practice did you get?

- Every day. - We practiced every day.

We booked our practice room and practiced every day.

- Because we practiced so hard... - We hope to see some good results.

Yes.

(G)I-DLE is the youngest group...

- on the show, yes? - That's right.

You guys must be pressured to be pitted against big seniors.

What's your goal for today?

First place!

I always aim to place first.

(I see.)

(After silencing everyone with a blackout,)

(here comes the awesome laser display!)

They're starting!

- That startled me. - What's happening?

(Even the seniors are looking forward to this performance.)

(How will (G)I-DLE do?)

Dear seniors, because we're the youngest,

you may think...

that we still have a long way to go,

but in a competition,

the best one wins.

("LATATA" by (G)I-DLE)

(Amazed)

That's amazing!

They really prepared for this.

That's incredible.

(Getting goosebumps)

Amazing.

(G)I-DLE!

LATATA!

(G)I-DLE!

(Everyone can't help but be in awe of the performance.)

The song arrangement is incredible.

(G)I-DLE!

LATATA!

(What's there to be scared of?)

That was so cool.

- They prepared it so well. - That was the best.

(Speechless)

They did well.

- They're so good. - They're so good.

(That was good.)

((G)I-DLE's performance earned good feedback from hard work.)

I have no regrets. Everyone pulled through,

so I had a lot of fun.

I heard that Soyeon...

planned and prepared the entire thing.

Isn't she basically a genius?

I think she's a genius.

She's really excellent in putting on performances.

Her facial expressions and her eyes were different.

I have a lot to learn from them.

Please prepare for standby.

What should we do?

I don't think I can perform right now.

I can't believe it.

It felt surreal.

- Let's go. - Let's go.

- Let's go. - I'm not nervous. You know why?

- Because it's a rehearsal. - That's right.

Let's decide what we're going to perform.

I think everyone will just assume that we'll perform "Ah-Choo".

It's because everyone knows the song.

(Keeping its place on charts for 10 months,)

("Ah-Choo" is Lovelyz' mega-hit song.)

When watching the TV,

I think a lot of people would watch because they recognize the song.

We have a lot of great songs.

We also have great voices.

It's too bad that we only have three rounds.

- I want more. - I want more.

We need at least eight rounds to really show ourselves.

Everyone, let's be humble.

(Right.)

If we're doing "Ah-Choo", we should add something new.

Let's do a new version of it.

(Lovelyz is now on a search for a new style of "Ah-Choo".)

- 1, 2. 1, 2, 3, 4. - 1, 2. 1, 2, 3, 4.

(A trot version of "Ah-Choo" by Kei)

- Ah-Choo! - Ah-Choo!

I say Ah, you say Choo.

(Ah-Choo! Ah-Choo!)

(You don't know me, me, me)

(me, me, me)

(After singing an EDM version of "Ah-Choo",)

(they even sang a rock version of it.)

- That was good. - You're good.

(Getting to the actual practicing for the competition)

Hit this part hard.

(Working hard)

Our song has such good lyrics and melody.

It's really a masterpiece. I'm proud of it.

(Practicing for the new version of "Ah-Choo")

This part feels uncomfortable.

Go all the way there.

Because we're trying to put on a new performance...

We're going to work so hard.

I want our fans to be happy and everyone else as well.

Our goal is to put on a great performance.

The rehearsal is starting now.

(Mi Joo and Ye In are practicing the choreography first.)

(Practicing the same part over and over again)

We changed our choreography to be more powerful.

The dance break featuring Mi Joo and Ye In...

- is the highlight. - Queendom.

(Getting stuck)

What was that?

My shoes don't turn well.

- The floor is too dry. - They won't turn.

We have to turn with our toes.

What should we do?

It really hurts.

We can't hold our hands properly if we don't dance it right.

That's why we kept practicing that part.

But the floor was too dry...

that we couldn't turn well on it.

I panicked.

- We got a lot of bruises. - Do you see this?

We can't avoid these bruises.

- They're glorious scars. - Bruises are nothing.

(Brave)

Start.

(Mi Joo and Ye In practiced without taking any breaks.)

What do we do?

(They keep missing each other at the same part.)

I was really nervous for this part. That's why we kept practicing.

Because we prepared a dance break,

I thought we prepared quite well.

We thought it'd just be like...

performing for a music show.

Watching others' performances,

I realized that everyone prepared something special.

That's when I began to get nervous...

and realized that this is it.

(At the start of the show)

(Amazed)

(MAMAMOO pulled off a legendary intro.)

(Mouth drying up)

(Last week, as if it's their concert,)

(they got everyone to cheer for them.)

That was wonderful.

They put us down from the start.

(What now?)

(Park Bom's "You and I" was touching.)

(That is awesome.)

(OH MY GIRL kept the original theme.)

(Eyes shaking)

((G)I-DLE started their performance with a unique style.)

(Exclaiming)

("LATATA" was reborn perfectly.)

Everyone's so amazing.

As I watched the other singers' performances, I thought,

"They really practiced so much."

I was a little discouraged.

I seriously wanted to cry.

Shall we practice?

Hey, turn off the TV.

(Lovelyz got motivated by the other performances.)

(They practice hard without a hint of a smile.)

(They keep checking the hard moves.)

(They don't stop practicing even during the makeup time.)

The choreography is very hard.

Now, it's a very powerful choreography.

That's what I'm worried about the most.

I also need to work with the members.

I'm worried I might look funny...

on the stage.

(Lovelyz)

(It's time for them to go on stage.)

(Will Lovelyz be able to overcome what they're worried about?)

This term describes them perfectly.

Rich with hit songs.

Lovelyz.

- Lovelyz! - Lovelyz!

- Lovelyz! - Lovelyz!

(What was that?)

- Hurry. - Go.

- This is crazy. - I'm nervous.

- Good luck. We can do it. - My goodness.

(They hear a loud cheer as soon as they appear.)

They must be really nervous.

I wonder if they changed to a sexy theme.

(Like this?)

Are they going for a sexy theme too?

- Or maybe... - Maybe hip?

Charismatic?

I wonder what their theme is.

We finally get to show...

what we've been working for.

I want to present the best performance,

and I'll also try my best.

(Exclaiming)

What's going on?

What's going on?

Wait. This isn't "Ah-Choo".

- What's going on? - What's going on?

(The singers are surprised by the unexpected intro.)

("Ah-Choo" by Lovelyz)

It's "Ah-Choo"!

It is "Ah-Choo", right?

My goodness.

Dance break.

- What a twist. - What a twist.

Everyone looks sexy.

I know.

Flower petals.

(They've overcome their anxiety to present a wonderful performance.)

(That was wonderful.)

I shouted too much. My head hurts.

(Good job.)

The dance break in the middle was amazing.

- The dance break? - The dance break.

I knew they'd do awesome.

Thank you.

I don't remember how I danced.

- I don't remember either. - I don't remember anything.

I'm not satisfied.

I'm not satisfied.

Still, it was my favorite among all versions of "Ah-Choo".

So I'm about 60 percent satisfied.

It was a little regrettable performance.

Stand by, please.

I'm suddenly getting nervous.

(AOA is the last performer of the first competition.)

You've been waiting for a long time.

Now, we only have one team left.

(Let's do this.)

I wonder who it is.

- AOA. - AOA.

Yes, that is correct.

Here are the five angels.

Ace of Angels, AOA.

We get to meet our fans after such a long time.

Right.

That's what I'm excited about.

Rather than feeling nervous,

I'm feeling responsible.

I was worried that...

we'd look less powerful after we became a group of five.

(They haven't performed since spring last year.)

We had a long break.

Honestly, it wasn't a short time.

I really missed performing. We took a break for too long.

We have to...

choose from one of our hit songs.

But do you even remember our choreography?

- I'm really in trouble. - Let's watch our videos.

- Right. We need to watch them. - Let's travel back in time.

What should we watch first?

- "Miniskirt". - "Miniskirt".

(It was the start of AOA's glory days.)

(They topped the charts for the first time...)

(on music shows with "Miniskirt".)

(Wait a minute. The choreography...)

You'll appear soon.

(She's practicing hard alone.)

Then do we have to put a zipper on our outfits?

- Of course. - We must.

- That is the killing part. - But...

The choreography for "Miniskirt" changed so much.

The front and back lines must match too.

(Gasping)

Wait. Wrong foot.

What do we do now?

I do remember the choreography,

but since we have to change the directions,

I get really confused when we have to change.

- How about "Heart Attack"? - What?

- Sure. - "Heart Attack"?

- Sure. - Okay.

(What is she doing?)

(Hold on. Where do I go?)

(A total disaster)

(Looking around)

Here?

- What are we going to do? - Go away.

(Go away.)

(They end up fighting for their spots.)

- Why do you stand here? - That's...

- You're here. - No.

- No. - No?

(She's dancing alone.)

This is my spot.

I'm in the center.

(I'm in the center.)

You're over there.

- This isn't going to work. - No.

We better give up.

Try to remember "Miniskirt".

Let's practice the beginning of "Miniskirt".

(Groaning)

Do I go here?

(Floundering)

Hey. That is not right. That's weird.

(The point of Hye Jeong's part is a fatal seduction.)

(But she just looks like a child whining.)

- That is not right. That's weird. - I don't think that is right.

(Why is it different?)

I can't remember.

- Oh, that's right. - That's right.

We got it.

(Their bodies finally remember the choreography.)

(Except for one person.)

(Rushing)

- Hey, stop it. - Good.

I have to change then.

- Even the hips are different. - It's different.

(In the end, she can't even dance.)

(Hye Jeong's confused.)

This is the chair part.

(Whatever)

- Right. - Hyejeong needs to practice hard.

Hye Jeong's the only one who needs to practice hard.

(Then they continued on with the practice.)

(They're getting ready for the first competition as 5.)

We practiced hard.

We were back to the basics and practiced really hard.

I was actually a little happy when we were getting practicing.

It felt like we were back to the old days.

I found the practice fun.

I'm grateful for getting this chance.

I mean it.

- The rank doesn't matter. - No.

Even if we place sixth.

If we earn something from the process,

that is enough for us.

- 2, 3. Hello. - Hello.

- We're ace of angels, AOA. - We're ace of angels, AOA.

Yes.

After you've become a group of five,

this is your first performance.

It must feel different.

Yes, we went back to the basics,

and we practiced so much...

as if we were trainees.

(Good luck, AOA.)

- Those people do really well. - Good.

So please look forward to it.

I hope you enjoy our performance.

Right. Let's hear from Ji Min...

before the performance.

(Exhaling)

Okay.

(Relax, Ji Min.)

- I can tell they're nervous. - Yes.

It's their first time performing as five.

- Good luck. - Good luck.

Thank you...

(Ji Min is so nervous that her hands are shaking.)

for making a trip here today.

As much as we practiced,

I hope you like it. Thank you.

- All right. - Thank you.

We haven't performed in a while.

And it's our first performance...

after we became a group of five.

So I'm feeling more nervous, and I'm touched.

We haven't performed as a group of five yet.

I think that's why people are worried about us.

I hope when they see our performance, they'd think,

"They're good as always."

"They're still doing fine."

(How's "Miniskirt" by AOA as a group of 5?)

I can't wait to see it.

I'm sure they prepared so much.

("Miniskirt" by AOA)

[VIU Ver] Mnet E02 'Queendom' "The Result of the Preliminary Contest" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

They truly are angels.

(Shouting)

Isn't that way too sexy?

They opened it!

No. No.

They opened it!

(Exclaiming)

(Singing)

It's totally different. My gosh.

Everyone is so good.

What is it? What is it?

(Exclaiming)

No!

One is missing. Where is she?

Where did she go?

It's different.

- I can tell they practiced so much. - I know.

It's so cool. My gosh.

I got goosebumps.

(They can't take their eyes off of the performance.)

Are you sure they're exhausted?

This isn't right!

(They splendidly declared their new start as five...)

You're so pretty!

(with "Miniskirt".)

- My goodness. - That was awesome.

Help us.

Hang on. That was the best.

- I agree. - That was really the best.

Hey, let's go home. We should've left earlier.

I can tell they went through so much.

Does anyone remember our performance?

I thought we were going to perform now.

(Did we even perform?)

This isn't going to be easy.

Everyone practiced so much.

Honestly, I don't know how I did.

- Good work. - Good work.

I love it.

I'm alive.

(How does she feel after the performance?)

I'm still alive.

Because I like the stage, because I like my fans,

and because I want to sing, I stayed.

I hope people catch that.

That I'm putting a lot of effort to do that.

Hot performances of six teams are over now.

Now, it's time for you to select...

the team that will get first place.

(That means she's very nervous.)

(Screaming)

(Interested)

Let's not get our hopes up.

- We weren't trying to win. - Right.

We only planned to present a satisfactory performance.

We were only trying to make a memory.

Maybe we were hoping too much to place the fourth.

I feel like I'm going to cry.

(I feel like crying too.)

(Tension is building in Queendom waiting rooms.)

Vote for two teams...

that did the best in your opinions.

("Decalcomanie" by MAMAMOO)

("You and I" by Park Bom)

("Secret Garden" by OH MY GIRL)

("LATATA" by (G)I-DLE)

("Ah-Choo" by Lovelyz)

("Miniskirt" by AOA)

Upon the count of three,

the voting is going to begin.

1, 2, 3.

Please vote.

(The voting begins.)

Number two!

Number five.

Can't they show number four? I'm sure some people voted.

What about Number four?

(Exclaiming)

(They found someone who voted for Number 6.)

Number six!

Ji Min!

(Just 3 minutes ago)

(The response of someone who doesn't care about the official rank)

Ji Min.

Did he press number three?

- No, he pressed number 1. - No, number 1.

Okay. Thank you.

- Number one. - Okay.

We are going to close the vote.

5, 4,

- 3, 2, 1. - 3, 2, 1.

- It's over. - Stop.

A Rin just sighed so deeply.

Don't, A Rin.

We wouldn't know how they feel.

How many votes do you think?

How many? We'd get at least 100 out of 500.

If we get 100, does that mean we place the sixth?

- Or is it the 6th? - The 6th probably.

(MC Sung Kyu heads to MAMAMOO's room.)

Are they sleeping?

Gosh!

(MC Jang doesn't know what to do with their extreme welcome.)

- Surprise! - As expected from MAMAMOO.

- Hi. - Oh, hello.

(MC Jang visits each singer's room.)

- Hi. - Hello.

- Hello. - Hello.

I'm here to give you something.

Here, I have a video related to the score.

What?

(What? That's scary.)

Please check the video in a moment.

(A video related to the score?)

Hello.

I'm the Queen MC of Queendom, Lee Da Hee.

Oh, it's Da Hee.

She's so pretty.

Now, you're going to self-evaluate...

what is worth 1,000 points.

It's simple.

Choose one team...

that you think did better than you today,

and a team...

that you think didn't do as well as you today.

Pick two teams,

and text me their names.

This isn't right.

- There isn't any. - How could we pick one?

We're going to calculate the up and down points...

and reflect it on the final score.

It's nerve-racking.

It's cruel.

I never imagined such a thing.

(How's the result of Queendom Self-Evaluation...)

(of the first competition?)

(The honest and cruel evaluation will be revealed soon.)

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

(The result of the first Queendom competition will be announced soon.)

I thought we deserve first place.

I'd like to give my team first place.

Since we practiced hard, I hope we get first place.

I'm going to get first place.

(The glorious 1st place...)

(to shocking 6th place that no one expected)

(It will be revealed soon.)

(6 Queendom teams gathered together.)

(Which team is going to place the 1st in the 1st competition?)

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

It's time to announce the result of the first preliminary competition.

I'm going to announce the vote result of the special evaluators.

The Winner Monopoly Rule is...

applied to the special evaluator result.

Only one team that places first...

gets to keep 2,000 points all to themselves.

I bet...

you can't wait to find out...

since your singer friends voted.

I believe trainees have sharper eyes.

I want to get those votes.

Which team do you think will get...

2,000 points of special evaluators?

Since it's a meaningful score,

I hope we place first.

What about you, Bom?

(Well)

I don't know.

(She's very honest.)

(Giggling)

Of course, I hope to get first place.

Isn't 2,000 points a lot?

I really want it.

Then I'm going to announce...

the top two teams first.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

The first preliminary competition.

According to the special evaluators, the top two teams are...

What impressed me was MAMAMOO.

MAMAMOO.

I think Park Bom is going to place first.

- (G)I-DLE. - I voted for (G)I-DLE.

AOA.

I voted for OH MY GIRL.

I think Lovelyz is going to place first.

(Which team was chosen by trainees?)

MAMAMOO.

(MAMAMOO is 1 of 2 top teams.)

And the other team is...

(G)I-DLE.

(The other top team is (G)I-DLE.)

Really?

MAMAMOO and (G)I-DLE are...

going to place the 1st and 2nd.

The vote difference between two teams is...

(The difference of special evaluators' vote)

only three.

(3 votes determined the winner of 2,000 votes.)

Let's see who will win...

2,000 points of special evaluators.

The result of special evaluators.

Since people who dream of becoming singers evaluated...

I became greedy.

The first place goes to...

(Which group will place 1st and receive 2,000 points?)

(It will be revealed soon.)

The first place goes to...

(Which group will place 1st and receive 2,000 points?)

(G)I-DLE.

No way!

My goodness.

Thank you.

It was the score you really wanted to get.

How do you feel right now?

We wanted to get first place in one part.

We are very thankful and honored...

to receive a meaningful score.

Thank you.

(G)I-DLE had done an amazing job,

so I thought it was right for them to receive the score.

Even though (G)I-DLE is the newest group,

their performance was perfect.

They have my praise.

Now, we will reveal the results of the Self-Evaluation.

Firstly, we will reveal the results of MAMAMOO's Self-Evaluation.

- Oh, my goodness. - It's time.

This is it.

Suddenly, there is tension in the air.

(Sending the Self-Evaluation text)

- Which teams did well? - We decided on the teams.

Yes.

(Which team did they choose?)

- They prepared so hard. - They were very put-together.

What I loved the most was...

- their uniqueness. - That's right.

- They were very unique. - That's right.

The team that seemed a bit lacking was...

- To be honest, that would be us. - Seriously.

The production crew told us that we can't choose ourselves.

- Our favorite... - There is...

our favorite nuance,

so it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see that.

All right.

(What are the results of their Self-Evaluation?)

- Should I send it? - Yes.

According to MAMAMOO,

AOA was...

(AOA showed a flawless performance with 5 members.)

(How did MAMAMOO evaluate AOA?)

AOA was...

above them.

(MAMAMOO judged AOA to be above them.)

Thank you.

(They bow to each other.)

It feels strange.

Despite having been on a long hiatus,

they made a comeback.

They were very cool.

Let's move on to the next one.

This is (G)I-DLE's Self-Evaluation.

According to (G)I-DLE...

What should we do?

I choose...

Really? Me too.

Seriously.

They looked really cool.

According to (G)I-DLE, AOA was...

(How did (G)I-DLE evaluate AOA?)

- above them. - All right.

Thank you.

((G)I-DLE judged AOA to be above them.)

This is suffocating.

My goodness.

Their skills that come from the years of experiences...

were something we couldn't dare to copy.

The gestures and facial expressions were so relaxed and natural.

According to Park Bom,

this team was below her.

(Sighing)

This is driving me crazy.

(Which team did Park Bom choose?)

What should I do?

According to Park Bom,

this team was below her.

OH MY GIRL...

was chosen.

(I am sorry.)

I was upset. It felt like a punch to the gut.

We will now announce OH MY GIRL's Self-Evaluation.

No teams were below us or above us.

How are we supposed to judge their hard work?

- I know. - We need more than 30 minutes.

Would anyone be able to choose so easily?

According to OH MY GIRL, Park Bom was...

(During Park Bom's performance)

Why am I tearing up?

(Park Bom's performance moved everyone.)

(OH MY GIRL members were filled with emotions.)

Park Bom was...

(How did OH MY GIRL evaluate Park Bom?)

Well,

I am sure they said I am above them.

I don't think anyone said I am below them.

Park Bom was...

below them.

(OH MY GIRL judged Park Bom to be below them.)

(OH MY GIRL and Park Bom picked each other.)

Let's go home!

(Let's go home!)

- Bom, give us time to explain. - Let's go home.

Give us time to explain.

No, no.

I don't need to hear that.

It's not like that.

(They don't know if they should laugh or cry.)

My goodness.

- I miss my bandmates. - The thing is,

we didn't think any team was below us.

Let's write down all the teams...

- and have a draw. - That's a good idea.

Okay. Let's have a draw.

We wrote down numbers,

- crumpled and threw the paper, - We had a draw.

and picked one.

- That happened to be you. - That's right.

It's okay.

(We are sorry.)

I am not in a good mood.

Don't be like that.

You don't want to see angry.

- Let's go on. - AOA said this team was below them.

(Which team did AOA choose?)

Shall we take turns and pick a team?

To be honest...

There wasn't much to see.

I think it's...

I don't think they were in good condition.

I honestly think it's...

Our choices are different. This is bad.

(Which team did AOA choose?)

AOA said...

this team was below them.

OH MY GIRL was chosen.

(AOA judged OH MY GIRL to be below them.)

No, no, no, no.

(We are sorry.)

We got picked again.

I thought, "I guess we were lacking."

"Should we have done more?"

It was upsetting.

Thus, OH MY GIRL received...

- two below votes. - That's right.

Which team did (G)I-DLE choose to be below them?

According to (G)I-DLE, this team was below them.

What?

(Which team did (G)I-DLE choose?)

Which team was below us? I don't want to send this text.

(Above, below)

- Should I send it? - Send it.

According to (G)I-DLE, this team was below them.

(What was (G)I-DLE's choice?)

OH MY GIRL was chosen.

((G)I-DLE judged OH MY GIRL to be below them.)

(Running)

It's okay. It's okay.

- My goodness. - It's okay.

It's really okay.

(They are in tatters.)

(OH MY GIRL was judged to be below three teams.)

Why are you...

- My goodness. - Why are you crying?

I didn't know what to do.

(I didn't know what to do.)

I feel so bad.

I feel so bad. What should I do?

I feel so bad.

It was shocking.

One team after another chose us.

I thought, "We will place last today."

I shed tears because I was worried.

We will convert these results...

to above and below points...

and apply them to the final score.

(AOA has 1,000 points, (G)I-DLE has 858 points,)

(MAMAMOO has 715 points, Lovelyz has 572 points,)

(Park Bom has 429 points, and OH MY GIRL has 286 points.)

We are continuing to see unpredictable results.

Now, we will reveal the final rankings...

of the first preliminary contest of Queendom...

that includes the Audience Vote,

which accounts for 7,000 out of 10,000 points.

(MAMAMOO captivated the audience with incredible singing skills.)

(Park Bom sang a song that brings back memories.)

(OH MY GIRL showed the strength of their own song.)

((G)I-DLE showed a different version of "LATATA".)

(Lovelyz showed a performance with a twist.)

(AOA ruled the stage with a flawless performance.)

The team that places first in the preliminary contest...

will receive the right to decide on the cue sheet...

of the next competition...

and get more fandom seats...

for the final live show.

- I forgot about that. - I know.

That's not all.

The team that places first will receive...

the Queen Service on the day of the next shoot.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

Who placed 1st in the 1st preliminary contest?

Who placed 1st in the 1st preliminary contest?

(It will be revealed soon.)

Who placed 1st in the 1st preliminary contest?

(G)I-DLE.

((G)I-DLE placed 1st in the 1st preliminary contest.)

(G)I-DLE, congratulations.

I knew it.

The youngest team achieved an incredible feat.

Yes.

How do you feel?

We will take this result as an encouragement to do better.

We will continue to work hard.

Thank you.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

I knew it.

As soon as the result was announced,

we said, "We knew they were going to win."

While I am happy,

I feel pressured to do better the next time.

I think we should prepare harder.

((G)I-DLE placed 1st with 9,858 points.)

We will now announce the team that placed second.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

Who placed 2nd in the 1st preliminary contest?

MAMAMOO.

(MAMAMOO placed 2nd in the 1st preliminary contest.)

(Her eyes widen.)

We will prepare hard for the next contest...

and show a better performance.

(MAMAMOO placed 2nd with 7,183 points.)

We will now announce the team that placed third.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

Who placed 3rd in the 1st preliminary contest?

OH MY GIRL.

(OH MY GIRL)

What?

You are lying!

Really?

Why would she lie?

Really?

She is crying again.

My goodness.

Gosh, she is crying.

She is cute.

When two teams chose OH MY GIRL to be below them,

Hyo Jung held her emotions in check.

But when it happened for the third time,

she shed tears.

(Park Bom, AOA, and (G)I-DLE...)

(chose OH MY GIRL to be below them.)

Why are you...

(The three below votes made her tear up.)

Why are you crying?

Our...

Why are you crying?

Our song is...

very special to us.

It's a song that made us place 1st for the 1st time.

I thought we would place last.

(Sobbing)

- Good job. - I thought we would place last.

Thank you.

Give them a round of applause.

I was so surprised.

I was as happy as someone who placed first.

Those were tears...

of relaxation and happiness.

I couldn't believe it.

(OH MY GIRL placed 3rd with 6,386 points.)

Now, Park Bom,

AOA, and Lovelyz.

These three teams remain.

Let's announce the team that placed fourth.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

Who placed 4th in the 1st preliminary contest?

AOA.

(AOA)

Firstly,

the fact that we placed fourth makes us feel...

I don't know if it makes us happy.

I am both relieved and disappointed.

(AOA placed 4th with 4,726 points.)

Now, the 5th and 6th places remain.

As we explained on the day we met,

Queendom has...

the 66 Drop Rule.

If you place 6th 2 times in a row...

in the preliminary contests,

you will be forced to leave.

You will no longer be able to compete in Queendom.

Why did I agree to be on this show?

I don't want to leave the show. I want to stay until the very end.

We only have rooms to go up.

We will try to avoid last place.

We will now announce the team that placed sixth...

in the first preliminary contest.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

Who placed 6th in the 1st preliminary contest?

I came with the determination to place first.

Please, please.

The team that placed sixth is...

(Park Bom versus Lovelyz)

Lovelyz.

(Lovelyz placed 6th in the 1st preliminary contest.)

- Thank you for your hard work. - Thank you for your hard work.

It's too bad.

Your performance was great,

and the audience's response was enthusiastic.

You must be disappointed because of that.

Please tell us how you are feeling.

I thought it would be impossible to decide which team placed first,

so it doesn't matter...

that the team placed sixth.

That's all.

Please give them a round of applause.

Still, I was a bit upset.

I thought, "I really hope..."

"my wound of glory doesn't become meaningless."

"No, it's okay because we gave a good performance."

"I am okay. We did a good job." Then...

my thoughts continued to change.

I am having a mental breakdown.

Lovelyz placed sixth.

- That means Park Bom placed fifth. - Yes.

Please say a few words.

This program gave me a wake-up call.

I will think of the result as a chance to better myself.

In the next contest,

I will place first no matter what.

I will keep my eyes on the first place.

(Park Bom placed 5th with 4,237 points.)

(Lovelyz placed 5th with 3,643 points.)

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

We will now announce the theme for the second preliminary contest.

It's...

covering another team's song.

(Cover another team's song.)

We need to do well...

since there is a performance the audience can compare ours to.

Seriously, I am worried.

The team that placed first, (G)I-DLE,

will pick a team...

whose song they would like to cover.

Let's say the team that placed first, (G)I-DLE,

picks the team that placed second, MAMAMOO.

Then MAMAMOO will have no choice...

(You must cover a song of the team that picked you.)

but to choose one of (G)I-DLE's songs...

and prepare a cover performance.

That's right. Now, (G)I-DLE, have you thought about this matter?

- Yes, there is a team... - Is there a team?

Yes, there is.

(G)I-DLE's performance is too powerful.

I don't know if we would be able...

to give that kind of performance.

Has it been a year since they debuted?

The only song of theirs I know is "LATATA".

I have always wanted to sing a song by (G)I-DLE.

I want to give a girl crush-worthy performance.

(G)I-DLE, pick a team.

We want...

I really want to sing their song.

We want...

(Park Bom)

We want to cover Park Bom's song.

(Park Bom needs to cover (G)I-DLE's song.)

What is this?

What am I going to do? This is a disaster.

It would be an honor if you cover...

a song of ours.

That's why we chose you.

There is a rap, right?

Thus, I think...

I should bring...

I wonder what kind of a performance we will see.

(Expectant)

(The day of the 2nd preliminary contest)

(Which artist will join Park Bom?)

Now, it's MAMAMOO's turn to pick a team.

Did you make up your mind?

- Yes. - Yes.

They are decisive.

Among the three teams,

is there a team that wants to cover MAMAMOO's song?

Is there a team that wants to get chosen by MAMAMOO?

It would be nice to cover a song of theirs.

(It would be nice to cover a song of theirs.)

Hyojung.

OH MY GIRL would be able to give a unique version,

so we want to cover a song of theirs.

It would be nice to challenge ourselves.

(Nodding)

The team we will pick is...

(Which team will MAMAMOO pick?)

In 2, 3.

- AOA. - AOA.

(AOA!)

Gosh, why?

Ji Min seems to be worried.

What are you worried about?

Getting the audience to participate.

(Getting the audience to participate)

(MAMAMOO is very good at getting the audience to participate.)

(Make some noise!)

We aren't... "Everybody, clap!"

We aren't good at that.

You should get the audience to participate.

I can't do that. "Everybody, clap!"

I can't do that.

(This idol group isn't used to that.)

MAMAMOO, why did you pick AOA?

There are so many great songs.

There is a song we like.

- Did you already decide on a song? - Yes.

May I ask you what it is?

- It's a secret. - It's a secret.

(They guard their secrets.)

Thus,

Lovelyz and OH MY GIRL will cover each other.

We will take on another team's persona.

It will be a new type of challenge.

The two team's themes are very similar.

We will have to think long and hard.

The battle of comebacks, Queendom.

The team that placed first, (G)I-DLE,

has the right to write the cue sheet for the next contest.

Now, the flower of the contest,

the cue sheet will be written.

((G)I-DLE will write the cue sheet for the 2nd preliminary contest.)

(Which order will (G)I-DLE get?)

(Which orders will the other teams get?)

The first performance will be given by...

They said they will be considerate.

I thought it would be worst to go second.

The theme of the second contest is cover performances.

I am reminded of Brown Eyed Girls.

- What? - What is that song?

I need to bring a member.

- The stage opened up. - Did it?

- Who is that? - Who is that?

Maybe it's CL or Minzy.

I think I'm in love.

That's what I'm talking about!
