the series. That changed things a bit.
We wanted to address the idea of

very clear in the last episode, humans

computers are combining. What comes out
of that can be evil.

There's also a sense at the end that you
may solve certain problems, but evil's

bigger than that.

Evil is not so easily gotten rid of.

For David and Kristen, the audience can
write its own ending, and it's not

depressing. David and Kristen are
probably together.

And I think that's what feels good when
characters you've come to know and

connect with live on, and the kings have
always left those doors open for their

characters. It's a way that I think
honors their affection for each other,

also honors their higher calling.
