[MUSIC]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Are you

sure we

haven't passed

the tunnel?

Yeah, I

think so.

She's like

the time

to be

coming up

here pretty

quick.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Oh, really?

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Are you

thinking too

fast?

No, there's

no way

that leads

to a

campground.

Please.

Okay, you

are the

boss.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

I think

that's your

way.

Yeah, look

at that.

[MUSIC]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Oh, it's

perfect.

Wow, yeah.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

I'm just

like that

woman said,

there's no

one even

here.

What?

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Where do

you want

to set

up?

I don't

actually want

to set

up yet.

What do

you mean,

this place

is fucking

great?

I know.

I didn't

mean I

didn't want

to stay

here.

I just

meant that.

I don't

want to

set up

yet.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Hey, uh,

gonna help

you with

something.

Just ignore

them.

It's fine,

we can

set up.

Think it

back to

that later.

This is

messed up.

Hey, what

a little

privacy here.

Whoa, whoa.

Fuck man.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Always the

hero.

Glad you

could make

it, Danny.

Seems a

prize.

No, I'm

just glad

some mission

didn't come

up that

prevented you

from being

here.

What could

be more

important in

taking my

daughter to

visit a

few colleges?

I really

do appreciate

you agreeing

to take

her on

such short

notice.

I'm happy

to do

it.

Just kind

of surprise

you don't

want to

take her.

I do.

The hospital

changed my

schedule and

I can't

afford to

take that

many days

off.

And given

the she

and I

have been

budding heads

about things

lately.

I honestly

thought it'd

be better

if you

took her.

You've been

way a

lot of

these past

couple of

years.

You don't

have a

lot of

time to

reconnect so

they're before

she goes

to college.

How does

she feel

about it?

Yeah.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

That's why

I'm glad

you reached

out.

Surprise, you

have this

much time

off.

Actually, I

retired.

What?

Thought you

were going

to do

30 years.

So did

I.

Then they

tried to

put me

on a

desk and

it's just

not me.

That's the

whole reason.

Yeah.

I mean,

the ride

must have

longer than

it probably

should.

I missed

out on

a lap.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

What are

you going

to do

now?

Long term,

I have

no idea.

But right

now I'm

just focused

on these

college visits

and trying

not to

make things

worse with

her.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

Hey, Alex.

There's our

soccer star.

Hey Daniel.

Hi.

All right,

I think

I should

get a

picture of

you too

before you

go.

I got

it.

Alex, let's

get a

shot.

Mom, don't

come on.

I'll be

quick.

Just get

closer.

I'll come

on closer

than that.

One smile.

Not bad.

Okay, just

call me

every day.

Yes, I

love you.

I love

you too.

Bye.

Okay, please

make sure

she calls

every day.

I will

pick up

even if

I'm on

shift.

Of course.

She may

not act

like it

now, but

one day

she will

appreciate this.

[BLANK_AUDIO]

How do

you move?

Yeah.

Have a

good time,

you too.

Be safe.

Danny.

Take care

of her.

I will.

Okay.

Bye.

Love you.

Bye, love

you.

So we're

doing this.

It's exciting.

Yeah.

Totally.

[MUSIC]

I'm ready

for you.

[MUSIC]

You're watching

the truth.

[MUSIC]

You're watching

the truth.

You're watching

the truth.

[MUSIC]

[MUSIC]

Yo.

Huh?

Are you

his bathroom?

Oh, no,

I'm good.

[MUSIC]

What are

you watching

over there?

Nothing, just

stupid stuff.

Like, cats,

ice skating

or something.

Cats, ice

skating?

Was that

a thing?

On there,

everything's a

thing, isn't

it?

When I

was overseas,

if we

had internet,

that's been

hours watching

that chunk.

Well, you

had internet.

Must have

been some

other reason

why I

barely heard

from you

then.

When we

got a

self-reational security.

Yeah, we

take that

kind of

thing seriously

in a

combat zone.

Good, good.

No, because

I was

just starting

to think

he didn't

care, but.

Alex, come

on.

You know,

I didn't

have a

choice.

Technically, it

is a

choice to

join the

army.

So, yeah,

you kind

of did.

Alex, I

was a

soldier.

Yeah.

And it's

not just

what I

did, it's

who I

was.

It's what

I felt

like I

was called

to do.

And I

am sorry

that it

took me

away from

you and

your mom.

But you

loved it.

And you

do it

again, right?

Wouldn't you?

Yeah, I

know what

I am

using about

them.

You're carrying,

right?

Of course

I am.

Right, we'll

put it

away.

What?

Walk it

up.

Alex, I

am a

highly trained

soldier.

Oh, man,

someone actually

sees you

without things,

so I'm

a redneck

or something.

You shouldn't

care about

what people

think.

If you

can't even

do this

one thing

for me,

it's okay.

Mom can

pick me

up.

It's really

not that

far.

Close your

door.

There.

Are you

good?

Thank you,

Daniel.

No, if

you're not

going to

call me

dad.

You can't

believe it.

Could it

at least

call me

Danny?

A mom

called me,

then.

Thank you.

Thanks.

Thanks.

And it

seems like

there's a

dress code.

If you're

too embarrassed,

we see.

You can

just wait

in the

truck, you

know.

No, I

want to

go to

the parents

thing.

Let's see

what this

place is

all about.

Okay.

So you

know all

you have

to do

is bring

back any

forms.

They give

you and

say that

this is

my top

choice.

Is it?

I just

need you

to say

it is.

Thanks.

I'll see

you after,

okay?

Copy.

[Music]

Hello, everyone.

Thank you

so much

for joining

us this

afternoon.

As we

go around,

please let

us know

what your

child's favorite

subject is.

What major

they intend

to pursue

and any

activities or

hobbies they're

into.

Let's start

with you,

sir.

In the

final shirt.

Uh, yeah.

My daughter

is Alex

Beckett.

She plays

soccer.

And I

think she's

pretty good

in math

and reading

science, you

know, all

the subjects

really.

Do you

know if

she has

a particular

major in

mind?

She's into

a lot

of things.

But I

do know

that this

university is

her first

choice.

I see.

Just to

be clear,

this is

a college,

not a

university.

There's a

difference.

And what

about you,

ma'am?

So how

to go?

That's fine.

Here we

go.

Sure.

Hey, so

what is

your favorite

class in

school?

What?

Turns out

I'm expected

to know

something about

your academics

and what

you want

to study.

Well, I

can just

forward you

my transcript.

Or we

could have

a conversation.

Just send

it to

you.

Can't wait

to check

them out.

Really?

Well, then

I will

be on

my best

behavior.

Yeah.

Yeah, she's

right here.

Wanna talk

to you,

ma'am?

Hey, ma'am,

it's going

great.

Love you,

bye.

Ah, yeah.

Okay, we

will call

you after

the visit

tomorrow.

Bye.

What you

want?

She wants.

Let me

know that

the school

of visiting

tomorrow has

a scholarship

off from

the table.

And to

make sure

you connect

with the

soccer coach.

Yeah.

What's wrong?

Nothing.

No.

It's just

weird that

she thinks

I forget

to connect

with the

soccer coach.

I don't

know.

Seems like

a normal

motherly reminder

to me.

No, it

is.

It is.

She's all

she's been

wanting to

talk about

lately.

It's soccer.

Don't you

like soccer?

Yeah.

Sure.

I mean,

I'm happy

about the

scholarship authors.

Like, I

know it

will help

financially.

Honestly, I

don't even

know if

I like

playing soccer

that much.

And then

playing in

college is

going to

take up

so much

of my

time.

And there's

other things.

I don't

know.

I'm into

a lot

more.

Really?

Like what?

Art?

What makes

you say

that?

Well, I

did look

at your

transcripts.

I saw

that you

took an

art elective

every semester.

It's way

more than

what's required.

So it

must mean

you really

like it.

Yeah.

I do.

Want to

tell me

more about

it?

No, not

really.

No.

That's the

certainly.

I feel

like faking

a deep

conversation with

you right

now.

Alex, it

doesn't have

to be

faking a

conversation.

If art's

what you're

into, I

want to

hear all

about it.

No, honestly,

I'm just

really exhausted.

I should

probably get

some sleep.

It's a

long day

tomorrow, you

know.

Good night.

Good night.

I'm sorry.

I'm so

sorry.

I'm so

sorry.

I'm sorry.

That's a

fifth one,

something wrong

with our

girls.

How'd it

go?

It's fine.

No, no.

It seems

like a

really big

party school.

I did

see they

have a

thing here

called the

freshman underwear

run.

Yeah, I

don't know,

not really

into it.

Well, we

got two

more to

see, right?

Yeah.

What's wrong?

I just

don't know

if I

really want

to see

the other

school's.

Okay.

Can I

ask you

something?

Yeah.

So you

know this

school that

I'm interested

in last

night.

And they

got back

to me

and they

said they

can fit

me in

for a

tour tomorrow.

Can you

take me?

What school

is it?

It's an

arts school.

I really

want to

try to

see if

there's like

a future

in it

for me.

You know?

But if

you're not

into it

then obviously.

I'm into

it.

It's like

a nine

hour drive

all the

way there.

I'm retired.

You got

nothing but

time.

Wait, no.

Are you

serious?

Yeah.

Okay.

There's just

one other

thing.

You're not

telling mom

about it.

I swear

I'll tell

them once

we get

home.

And I'll

say I

made you

do it.

You know,

it's my

fault.

Look, she

just has

this idea

of my

future in

her head.

That's not

me.

Where we

headed?

Thanks.

Nope.

No, they

can see

it that

one either.

Well, I'm

sure we'll

find something.

It might

be a

little farther

from the

college.

That's fine.

You know,

if worse

comes to

worse.

I do

have a

10 in

the back.

Why?

I got

a lot

of stuff

back there.

I'm just

saying, if

we had

to, we

could do

one night

of camp.

Camping?

Yeah, I

like we

used to.

I want

to keep

looking for

a hotel.

[music playing]

God.

Okay, I

just lost

my last

bar.

So that's

that.

Come on.

No services

in the

end of

the world.

Maybe we

could even

have a

conversation.

Okay.

What do

you want

to talk

about?

Let's talk

about why

looking in

a dark

college has

to be

a secret

from your

mom.

Because according

to her,

there's no

future or

money in

drawing or

painting.

You just

want you

to be

happy.

Maybe driving

honest with

her.

Like you're

being honest

about your

retirement?

What do

you mean?

All you

ever talked

about was

how much

you loved

the army

and how

you'd wear

the uniform

until they

ripped it

off your

back.

And now

you just

expect me

to believe

that you

decided to

retire.

Okay.

Good talk.

[music playing]

I'm going

to go

use the

bathroom.

[music playing]

You like

the yard?

Yeah, school.

Do you

want to

buy one?

Uh, no

thank you.

Do you

have bathroom?

Yeah.

Through that

side door.

It's really

easy to

find.

Thank you.

[music playing]

Hey.

Hey.

What are

you?

16.

17.

[music playing]

Is that

it?

Plus a

gas?

Yep.

Where you

headed?

Well, we're

driving up

to Port

Winston that

we're hoping

to find

a place

to stay

near here.

You know

what, but

anything?

No.

There ain't

any hotels

between here

and Port

Winston.

Nothing, huh?

Oh, there's

a bunch

of campgrounds

between here

and there.

I actually

got a

really nice

one, not

too far

from here.

How far

are we

talking?

Just a

few miles

up the

road.

But it's

really easy

to miss.

Probably best

if I

draw you

a map.

Thanks.

You're going

to grab

a couple

more things.

Hmm.

There's a

small sign

right at

the turn-off.

Do you

want to

go slower?

You're going

to fly

right by

it.

You want

to make

the turn,

and then

it's just

one mile

from that

point.

Got a

direction for

a campground.

You're going

to love

the place.

It's beautiful.

And you

should have

it all

to yourselves.

Hot dogs,

chips, water.

Anything else?

No, I'm

good.

You okay?

Yeah, I'm

fine.

I just

want to

go 78.

Thanks again.

Keep changed.

I appreciate

that.

You enjoy

the peace

and quiet.

Take care

of each

other now.

Calls down.

It looks

like we're

getting close.

As we

should see

a mile

mark up

here on

the right.

Is that

it?

There it

is.

Is there

going to

be a

campground?

Yes.

Not much

of a

map, really.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

There's going

to be

a map.

I'm impressed

you still

know how

to set

this up.

Of course

I do.

There's like

10,000 times

and I

was little.

I'm a

lot faster

at it.

Yeah, because

back then

you insisted

on doing

it yourself.

You wouldn't

let me

help at

all.

First couple

of times

it took

me over

an hour

and you

were just

like,

"You're doing

great, sweetie."

Meanwhile it

was completely

dark outside.

I respected

your determination.

Yeah.

Oh, man,

except for

that one

time.

Remember it

was raining

so hard.

We're getting

drenched and

you still

wouldn't let

me help

you.

Hey, at

least I

can talk

about resilience

of my

college application.

That's what

you know.

Yeah.

What's resilient?

Yeah.

You know,

speaking of

college essays,

I imagine

the school's

going to

want to

see some

of your

art.

Yeah, of

course.

Could I

see some?

I'm taking

you there.

Should I

at least

have some

basic knowledge

of your

work?

Can you

say ask

me about

it?

Yeah.

Yeah, I

know.

I guess

you're right.

A couple

of sketches

I did

recently and

don't judge

them too

hard, okay?

So cool.

Just sketches.

Yeah, but

the style

and the

detail is

really something.

Alex, you

got to

pursue this.

Very serious?

Yeah.

Yeah.

You got

anything else

I can

see?

I can

show you

if your

paintings are

done.

Just right

there.

What?

Wow.

These are

incredible.

I have

a whole

portfolio online.

I can

show you

once we

get service

again.

Well, I

can't wait

to see

it all.

Cool.

Yeah.

Let's see

if we

can find

some dry

wood.

Like, lighter.

How much

more do

you think

we need?

Just hope

the stuff

burns.

Yeah, it's

all pretty

wet.

What's that?

I don't

know.

Madden will

maybe?

Yeah.

Yeah, I

heard that.

Click back

in that

area.

Yeah.

Time for

a little

recon by

fire.

What was

that?

That'd be

like a

raccoon or

a possum.

I love

that one

drawing with

all the

faces.

Oh, yeah,

I did

portraits of

my friends

like these.

Really?

Yeah.

It's so

cool.

Wow.

What is

it?

It's a

person.

Hey.

Hello?

We see

you.

Well, I

can see

you too.

Thank you,

son.

We didn't

mean to

spoil your

hunt.

We're going

to head

back to

the campground.

We don't

want any

trouble.

Move.

Don't look

back.

Hey.

Get back.

Right.

Back to

the truck.

They're coming

straight to

you.

They're taking

a truck.

Hey.

Hey.

Stop.

Stop.

Don't want

to hurt

the girl.

Jim.

We got

two down.

He's headed

north towards

you.

This fucker

can fight.

You can

hide over

there.

Oh.

It's a

big shot.

Fuck.

This is

going to.

No.

We lost.

They're sick

of you

right?

We ran

away.

There's a

waste of

them.

We don't.

We'll have

them soon.

That's right.

The next

bucket thing

I better

hear from

you is

that you

got them

and you're

on your

way back.

What?

I don't

know.

I don't

know.

I don't

know.

She's thinking

about that

guy.

I don't

know.

I gotta

get out

of here.

Wait.

Hey.

Just brain.

I knew

something was

off with

her guy,

the government

station.

I knew.

I knew

it.

I didn't

help you.

I should

have said

so.

Can I

just.

Don't.

Don't.

Don't.

Don't.

You believe

me.

You believe

me.

You believe

me.

You believe

me.

You believe

me.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

I believe

you.

Can you

do that?

Yeah.

Yeah.

You know

the right.

I'll figure

it out.

Let's go

this way.

Come on.

Stay well.

[Music]

[Music]

These tablets

hit the

germs up.

[Music]

Drake.

[Music]

I don't

understand how

you're not

for upset

with me.

I made

you walk

the gun

to the

truck.

I don't

even know

what I

was thinking.

It's my

fault that

we're in

this situation.

Don't.

None of

this is

your fault.

Let's see

me.

I have

been in

much worse

spots in

this over

the years.

And I've

always made

it through.

Always.

And that's

when I

wasn't trying

to protect

a person

I loved

most in

this world.

And we

are going

to get

through this.

I promise.

These guys

don't know

it, but

they messed

up around

that.

[Music]

What is

it?

You see

that gap

between the

trees?

There are

no straight

lines in

nature.

No, they're

not.

[Music]

Our trucks

always need

somewhere.

For sure.

This way.

How do

you know?

I don't.

Just being

decisive.

[Music]

Get down.

[Music]

I think

we should

go check

that out.

No.

No.

We have

to get

going.

I don't

want to

go.

I mean,

there might

be something

in there

we can

use.

I see

an antenna

could be

radio weapon.

You can

do just

walk up

and look.

They're probably

hiding their

way on

you.

We can't

go anywhere

near.

[Music]

There might

be empty.

Either way.

Make sure

they don't

see us

coming.

How?

[Music]

This way.

[Music]

[Music]

I don't

hear any

movement.

Okay.

Keep ahead

on my

backpack and

watch our

six as

we move

in.

Okay.

Ready?

Yeah.

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

Alex.

Alex.

Are you

okay?

[Music]

We killed

that guy

and I

helped you

and his

life was

like my

theory.

[Music]

You did

what you

had to

do.

It's us

or them.

Okay?

[Music]

I know

but I

got you.

I think

you said

you can

walk.

[Music]

Okay, because

we gotta

get moving.

All right,

let me

help you

out.

[Music]

Let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

[Music]

Mark, we

need help.

We should

go back

and get

help.

I'm not

going nowhere

without that

girl.

I can't

be shit

together.

Mickey's dead,

Angus.

I can

fucking see

that girl.

[Music]

Do you

want to

be the

one?

Go back

to tell

Stanley that

Mickey's dead.

And we

didn't get

the girl.

How do

you think

he's going

to react,

huh?

Let's go

boy.

Man, that

all day.

We're going

Mickey.

Come back

from later.

Fuck.

[Music]

How's that,

Angus?

Yeah, it's

okay.

[Music]

I think

we should

rest that

leg.

I can't

keep going.

If we

don't rest,

we make

ourselves more

vulnerable.

[Music]

Let's check

out this

spot.

Looks good.

All right,

let me

take a

quick look.

Okay.

[Music]

Nice.

This is

perfect.

We can

see or

hear anyone

coming.

They won't

be able

to see

us once

again.

[Music]

We brought

all of

that to

college visits.

So have

it.

Never heard

to be

prepared.

Look, I

got you

favorite.

Maple pork

sausage patty.

Mmm yummy.

[Music]

Didn't think

I'd be

eating another

one of

these for

a while.

[Music]

That's the

real reason

I left

the army

so suddenly.

Obviously you

loved it.

Mom and

I thought

you were

going to

do another

ten years.

[Music]

True biz.

I got

in the

fist fight

with my

CEO.

What happened?

[Music]

Last up

when I

was sideways.

We were

just going

back to

evacuated some

local personality

work with.

But people

found out.

It was

chaos.

There's so

many people

trying to

escape.

Families, kids.

[Music]

It was

one guy

who tried

to hand

me his

baby across

the barbed

wire before

we took

off.

Yeah, just

begging me

to take

her.

And I

tried to.

My CEO

got pissed.

He ordered

me to

leave her.

Said this

is not

why we're

here.

And I

refused.

He got

my face.

And I

lost it.

[Music]

So my

retirement wasn't

exactly voluntary.

[Music]

And the

baby?

[Music]

She didn't

make it

out of

there.

[Music]

I'm sorry

dad.

[Music]

Can I

ask you

one more

thing?

Sure.

Did you

win the

fight with

your CEO?

Oh, I

walked his

ass.

Real good.

Dad.

Think I'm

done.

[Music]

Alex.

When I

was over

there, it

put me

in a

certain headspace.

I didn't

know how

to be

that guy.

I'm going

to hop

on the

phone with

you and

be a

dad.

[Music]

But I

should have

found a

way.

[Music]

I'm sorry.

Yeah.

Thank you.

And I

know.

I know.

[Music]

Good.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's getting

cold.

Right here.

[Music]

Use those.

Thanks.

[Music]

I'll clean

up there.

I'll check

you more.

[Music]

Yeah, come

here.

[Music]

Have I

just closed

my bath

for a

few minutes?

Yeah, go

ahead.

[Music]

Stay on

watch.

[Music]

[Music]

I need

to go

to the

bathroom.

[Music]

You know?

[Music]

My ankle

feels better.

That's great.

Yeah.

I'll be

right back.

Don't go

far.

Yeah.

[Music]

You two

stay close.

I need

to go

up now.

I need

to go

back to

the bathroom.

I still

love the

guy.

I can

hear you

over my

way.

I can't

hear you.

Follow me.

I can't

hear you.

I can't

hear you.

I can't

hear you.

I can't

hear you

over my

way.

I can't

hear you.

Dad, I

found her.

Come on.

She did

it to

me!

Run!

Dad, run,

I'm coming!

Go!

I'm across

the river!

Go!

Let's go,

push!

Don't get

to go.

Trust in

the river.

Straight out

here.

This way.

You go

that way.

We need

the job.

No, no.

You have

to trust

me.

It looks

deep enough.

Go!

There's no

other choice,

Alex.

Go!

Get him

in the

water!

I see

you!

Get him!

You're going

to hit

her!

Come on.

Get her!

You okay?

You okay?

That's enough.

Go!

I know

what I

look at

this week,

girl.

Get her

out of

here.

Get her

out of

here.

Danny, take

her out

of here.

I will.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

I'll go.

That's enough.

I'll go.

Hello!

Hello!

Hello!

Here, you

should drink

this.

Where am

I?

Please don't

yell.

He really

hates that.

I was

brought here

just like

you.

I was

scared and

I tried

to fight

and it

didn't work.

You just

made things

harder and

you don't

want that.

My advice

is to

just do

what they

say.

Okay.

Please don't

yell.

What's all

the yelling

about?

Let me

go.

I'm scared.

Can I

understand that?

I'm sorry,

but that'll

pass.

Lily was

scared when

she first

got here.

But now

she's grateful

that we've

welcomed her

into our

family.

Yes, Stanley.

You see?

We're trying

to create

something special

here.

And you

of all

people.

I thought

we'd understand

that.

Is this

yours?

It's beautiful

work.

Surely when

I flip

through these

pages,

I can

see you

view the

world differently.

Just like

I do.

Yeah.

Beautiful.

We need

more of

this beauty

around here.

I'm just

going to

take some

time.

Trust me.

Just give

it some

time.

No.

Shit.

Where are

you going?

I expect

you to

get her

in line.

Come with

me.

What the

fuck?

Yo, make

me a

couple of

days too.

Yeah, how

you want

them?

They're scramble's

fine.

You got

them?

No.

Yeah.

No.

No.

No.

No.

No.

No.

You keep

an open

mind.

You'll learn

to love

this place.

You're strong,

wield, and

I appreciate

that.

But I

need you

to come

back with

me when

I'm making

a fuss

right now.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I need

you to

come back

with me

when I'm

making a

fuss.

I know

what your

intentions are.

You're sick

bastard.

I'd say

they're pretty

harmful.

That's because

you don't

know me.

You don't

know what

that built

here.

I want

to talk

to Alex.

Right after

I hear

my son's

voice.

He's saying

hard to

hide.

Fuck yourself.

He's sort

of a

bitch.

It doesn't

sound like

he's being

treated very

well.

Oh, he's

not.

That's disappointing.

Where is

my daughter?

She's right

here.

Alex.

Say hello

to your

dad.

Don't, don't

you, Alex?

Alex, really?

Dad is

fine.

If you

want to

see your

son alive

again,

you bring

my daughter

here and

you come

alone.

You understand?

You know,

you may

as well

just kill

me now.

Because there

is no

way you

or your

daughter

as I've

been making

an evidence

of my

life.

I'm not

a bitch.

I'm not

a bitch.

I'm not

a bitch.

I'm not

a bitch.

I'm not

a bitch.

You guys

stay here.

Just me

and the

girl from

this point.

God, it's

standing.

It's big.

Don't fuck

this up.

No, so

I...

Let's go

see your

daddy.

[music playing]

Not a

word.

It's okay

on me.

So I'll

be over

soon.

But the

gas running

in here

for the

last half

hour.

So you're

going to

want to

put that

gun away

before you

blow us

all out.

Look at

you, Mr.

Resort School.

But I

don't give

a shit.

You're right,

son.

I'm fucking

great.

You fucking

cut my

finger off.

You see,

that shit

don't say

right on

me.

I took

care of

you.

I don't

like that

shit don't

say right

on me.

I took

care of

your daughter

like she

was my

own.

Look at

her.

She's only

one piece.

You've done

the same

thing if

you were

me.

No, I

wouldn't.

You don't

love your

family.

Seems like

we have

different definitions

of love.

Maybe that's

because you've

never been

put into

position

where you

were about

to lose

everything.

Everything you

worked for,

everything you

built and

cared about

over the

years.

Slowly being

stripped away

from you.

We didn't

start this.

The fuck

you didn't.

You're just

like the

rest of

them.

We live

in a

peaceful paradise

completely self-sufficient.

Away from

society's bullshit.

And then

they come

over here

with their

chemical plants.

Poisoning our

waters and

ruining our

fucking lives.

And you

think they'd

give a

shit?

Do you

give a

shit?

No.

So desperate

times go

for desperate

measures.

But how

about we

get this

over with?

And you

and your

son can

go back

to your

little paradise.

Please.

My daughter

and me

alone.

How's that

sound?

Zenmo.

Hey, have

a bunch

of guys

waiting outside

when you

need to

go.

You're not

going to

die.

You're not

going to

die.

What happened?

What was

that?

I think

we're safe

now.

Yes, baby.

I think

it's all

over.

Okay.

Oh my

god.

It's you.

It's you

too.

I'm so

glad you're

fine.

You're so

glad you're

safe.

Yeah.

I'm going

to be

okay.

Oh my

god.

All right.

That's good

out here.

Okay.

Just don't

look.

[Music]

[Music]

Nervous?

Yeah.

Kind of.

Places a

lot bigger

in person.

I'm going

to do

great here.

That is

not too

late to

take that

gap here.

Ah, hot.

You're that.

And I

could not

even work

out at

you.

But if

it sucks,

we're only

in our

flight away.

Yeah.

Just say.

Well, it's

really good.

I think

that's me.

Alex, hurry.

It's still

great to

meet you.

First of

all, it's

to meet

you too.

Here's to

my parents.

Hi.

Hi.

What's your

name?

Danny.

Hi.

Hi.

We've heard

a lot

about you

from Alex.

Oh, you

as well.

Listen, you

can toss

your stuff.

You can

unpack later.

The Ari's

having a

meet up

in about

five minutes.

Over and

one.

You'll be

able to

meet everybody

else on

this floor.

Cool.

Sounds good.

We'll just

give us

a second.

Yeah.

Whenever you're

ready.

Sweet.

Thanks.

So I

guess this

is bye

for now.

Okay.

Mom, it's

all like

I'm going

to study

a broader

anything.

I'll just

be here

and you

can visit

any time.

I'll be

home for

Christmas and

Thanksgiving.

I know.

Okay.

Please don't

cry.

Hey, know

that we

love you.

We're thrilled

for you.

I think

I should.

And if

you need

anything.

I know.

Really.

Gosh, it's

looking at

where you

see you

guys back

together.

Yeah, but

it's good

too, right?

No, definitely.

All right.

We're going

to get

going.

Okay.

But again,

do you

need anything?

Anything.

Call.

I will.

Okay.

I promise.

I love

you guys.

Love you

too.

Love you

too.

Love a

safe trip

back.

I'm good.

I will.

And if

you can't

be good,

be careful.

I love

you.

Is everything

okay?

I already

miss her.

I do

too.

But she's

where she

belongs.

Yeah.

Get away,

mom.

Mom, dad.

You saw

my laptop?

Oh, yeah.

Need that.

Here you

go.

Love you

guys.

I love

you guys.

Love you

too.

Okay.

Bye.
