Joe wants devens out, big-time.

Unfortunately, I don't have an idol on me.

I've actually been
really frustrated by that.

So I'm gonna go ahead...

He just got the idol.

I guess I had good
reason to be nervous, Jeff.

12th and 13th players
voted out of the game

and the second and
third members of our jury...

Chrissy and coach.

Chrissy... Coach, the tribe has spoken.

Crazy night, guys.

Devens had this huge
ego boost of finding an idol

at tribal.

This was the moment
devens has been waiting for.

Devens found an idol.

He wants that so bad, and he finally

has an idol with his chest held high.

- It just didn't look good.
- I know. It didn't.

Because everybody was talking to you.

I came to you and told you
what everybody was doing.

I know. I know.

He thinks that was a great mov,

but I believe it could backfire on him,

'cause now you're a target
'cause you have an idol.

He didn't even try to hide it.

And the reason I didn't play it tonight is

'cause it's meant to be snuck out.

I really came into

season 50 trying to control
my more chaotic tendencies.

But I missed causing chaos at tribal.

And tonight I got back to my chaotic self.

That's the most fun
tribal I've had all season.

I was looking so forward
to playing that idol.

That fake idol.

- So then I was like, "what is going on?"
- Right.

- Is that...? So then you're like...
- Nobody knew about that.

So it's like... so I was like...

It was awkward being
approached and, like, scolded

by the people who I'm
pretty sure were trying

to get me out of the game.

But either way, the plan worke.

I think there were votes coming my way.

Those votes kind of disappeared
after that fake idol picked up.

I planted it there a long time ago.

What?

- So that...
- What?

My god, Rick does not have an idol.

So people are convinced
that he has an idol

despite the fact that he, in fact, does not.

Yeah.

- He's all happy.
- I want to be happy

for him that he is still here.

But on the other hand, I am

angry at Rick because he put

our entire alliance in jeopardy
with his antics because now

he's target number one.

I just think they wanted coach out...

Yeah.

I am pissed off.

Coach and Chrissy were blindsided.

And they are two people from
my alliance that went home tonight.

I still have Joe, I still have Jonathan.

And people are gonna
be willing to ebb and flow.

I am so mad right now,

but I'm gonna play the miss nice girl

and I'm gonna baby-face them to death

and then I'm gonna slit all their throats.

Can we just talk about
how dumb a move devens'

- power play was last night?

Nobody's worried about my and your idol.

Last night, the live tribal
actually turned out to be

a big old blessing in disguise.

Takes all of the heat off of me and rizo

and our idols.

Plus, as far as

this old-school alliance
goes, like, it is done.

It has been burned out from the inside.

And right now, you've
got Stephenie, Jonathan

and Joe just wandering
because they have

nowhere to go.

I feel like

last night went as well as
you could possibly expect.

And I think that devens pulling
his shenanigans was amazing.

Now he has an idol,

and we're gonna have
to put votes on him.

Even if we were trying,
you can't work with that.

And at least be chill.

Devens' actions at tribl just was perfect.

I loved every second of it.

to me in this game.

we need a backup person

just in case he plays that idol.

Right now, my closest
allies are ozzy and rizo.

Then I'm also working
with the original cila four,

which is Christian,
devens, Emily and myself.

I also have a understanding...
with Joe, Stephenie

and Jonathan.

And then, aubry and Tiffany

are somewhere in the middle.

So right now, I think I'm in a good spot

working with pretty much everybody.

I don't know. That's the tough part.

Insurvivor, I think it's
good to have options.

That's the benefit of
being in with a lot of people.

We're in between a rock and hard place.

And ozzy...

I still think that we can use
him, dude. Work with him.

I'm not saying we make
him our number one.

I'm saying we don't have a lot of choices.

It is a huge blow

to lose two people that are in my alliance.

You start to question,
what can you possibly do?

And you don't know what players

you can even work with anymore.

Because I was the only one
that voted devens and aubry.

And as long as we vote the
same, stick together, -yeah.

Jonathan, that's all we can do.

We just hope that good
people can weather this.

I'm in trouble, and I got
to work a different route.

After tribal, we all are lookig

for a lifeline to stay alive.

It's because we played
on the same season.

I know that devens and
I are perceived as a pair,

but he really did blow up

that tribal council with the show,

and it's making people
really uncomfortable.

And I'm someone

who is not afraid to make
big moves and jump ship

if the people I'm working
with aren't working for me.

I am not someone who
likes to play with, like,

"there's a block of four nerds at the end."

I like to play with people

I don't know that
Jonathan ever really wanted

to play with me, but I think
he needs people right now.

in on the plan the whole time.

When, in the back of my head, I'm going,

"this is the biggest load of crap

I've ever heard in my life."

So after I got the idol,
and the live tribal kicked off,

it was like, "they've got to
come up with another plan."

You guys got your hand
caught in the cookie jar.

You know, you guys were voting
for me, and it didn't work out.

If I wanted to write down your
name, for whatever reason,

that's exactly what I would have done.

There is no cookie jar.

You have an idol, which
you don't tell anybody about,

and you were aggressive at tribal.

And I don't bring up any of that.

I just go, "hey, man, I
didn't write down your name,"

and acted like everything was all right.

He tried to get into it
with m, but I didn't let him.

And I feel like I'm really
proud of that, because

even though I'm completely
upset and I'm bitter,

being able to hide that...

if that's not growth, I don't know what is.

So I assume Rick

anybody is buying it is...

Is kind of hilarious?

Is actually stupid.

They trusted me going into this vote,

and I had to lie to them.

I can't have them thinking
I'm in open war with them,

because then they will absolutely

be marshalling a plan
against me and Rick.

If this comes to a situation

To help appease that, if that's something

I've been in the position befoe

where people were asking
for my shot in the dark.

And I've given it to them before,

in hopes that they will keep me around.

And it worked with ozzy.

Everybody in the middle, I feel,

is gaining momentum. I don't like it.

where we can get out Christian
pretty good, pretty easy.

in a certain amount of time.

"so when I heard survivor
50was in the hands of the fans,

I knew I had to be part of it."

This seems insane. Jimmy Fallon

may decide my fate in this game.

"First off, I'm glad I could inspire Probst

"to participate in the challenge.

"And he caught me up a on
what went down at the challenge.

"You won rice. Congrats!

"And now you're here alone.

"The good news is,

if you finish this puzzle in time..."

So, Jimmy Fallon's
idea is pretty interesting,

where you get to put a vote in the urn

before tribal council that
no one even knows about.

If you know in this exact momet

who you're gonna be voting for tonight,

that could be a big advantage.

"If you fail to finish the puzzle,

"you will take this
envelope back to the camp

"to read in front of your tribe mates.

"And as you can imagine,
it won't be great news.

"So you're going to have
an impact on tonight's vote.

"The only question is, will
it help your game or hurt it?

Boy. So, at this point, I'm like,

"okay, Jimmy, you're
putting the pressure on me."

Here's a puzzle, and if I don't do it,

you got this letter. You
got to come back to camp

and read it in front of everyone.

So, I worry I'll lose my vote.

Or-or worse.

I toss the anchor overboard,

and then it starts unspooling this rope.

And I need to complete
a Jigsaw puzzle before

the last anchor drops
in the water, because

once the rope has no
more slac, that puzzle is...

off into the water,

and my opportunity to
win the advantage is gone,

and whatever terrible
consequences remain are on me.

Fans.

Every minute, I hear a
weight slamming the water...

like a timer.

Tick, tick, tick.

And it just mounts the
pressure further, and then

builds the panic.

Every time a weight goes by, I realize

how many pieces are still not in place.

Another weight drops in the water.

And I can see the last one getting closer.

I'm like, "my god, I'm
a couple pieces away."

I don't think people realize how often...

We try to keep it to ourselves.

And it's easy to feel like an idiot.

we stick together, we just stick it out.

How did we end up in this position?

Before, I'm trying to see

if I can get votes against ozzy. Now,

I just want to survive. You know, like,

I'm too tempting of a target right now.

My big fear is that the other side's gonna

start trying to get rally votes against you

because there's already one there.

And if they try to do that, I won't know,

So what impact does that have?

It impacts everyone sitting here, because

you could take the easy route and say,

"we only need a certain amount of votes.

Christian already did us a
favor and gave us one on him."

Or we could play survivor.

I will say, my sympathy is limited, though,

because nobody was holding a
gun to Christian's head saying,

"hey, you should volunteer to go do this."

I, on the other hand, sat out purposely

because of that unexpectedness
that comes with season 50.

So, you know, there's
upsides, and there's drawbacks,

and we're still learning the upsides,

and I think, clearly, tonight,

we're still learning the drawbacks.

Ozzy, what's your take on this?

Because that's big news
for one player to say,

"I got to vote for myself tonight."

A hundred percent, Jeff.

Yeah, he took a big risk,
and he failed the journey.

So if you do that,

you've already painted
a big target on your back.

But maybe,

as some of my other
alliance members have said,

sometimes the low-hanging fruit

isn't really what you go for
when you're playing survivor.

Especially when you think
that you know what's going on.

Because I thought I knew
what was going on last tribal,

and all of a sudden, devens
is pulling a devens move.

Devens, that got a couple
of chuckles from you.

Yeah, he's right about that.

I mean, as the group
gets smaller and smaller,

you know, there's less easy votes

that everyone can agree on.

So, it's constantly changing.

I mean, I'm playing the idol tonight

'cause I don't go home with idols,

and I've been told very clearly

that I'm a big target tonight.

And my philosophy is kind of,
every day's a reset on survivor.

If you can get through one vote,
it might be blue skies tomorrow.

Cirie, what's the biggest lesson

you learn when you play
this game over and over?

People are unpredictable.

And the moment you
think that you can predict

what your closest ally or your

biggest adversary is going to do,

that's the moment you're
gonna be out of this game,

probably blindsided.

That's sobering, Emily.

It certainly is, but it's part of the game.

You need to have alliances,
but at the same time,

one person ultimately wins the game.

And it's just always a question of

how long does it take for
the alliances that you built

and the relationships that
you built to turn on each other.

And ideally, you're making that decision

before the other person is.

But I think a lot of times,
when people are blindsided,

it's because that decision
was made for them

by the other party.

So, tiff, is there a safe space anywhere?

There's nowhere to
hide on season 50, Jeff.

There is nothing safe about
the people we're playing with.

We're all navigating this day by day,

and the best way to figure things out

is to worry about the day in front of you.

You can't worry about
tomorrow until you get there,

'cause not everybody's gonna make it.

And I think there's always
multiple plans floating around.

There's always multiple agendas,

and we're not gonna find out
what the real agenda truly is,

or at least the one that Rose to the top,

until you read the votes.
