today, we're going to celebrate the most
awesome factions in WWE history.

Now, uniting for a common purpose,
whether it be to prove their dominance,

their authority, or simply create chaos,
it's all about power in numbers, adding

up to memorable moments that resonate
with us, WWE fans, and forever shaped

reshaped the landscape of sports
entertainment.

What makes a good wrestling faction?

These guys could go down as one of the
best factions in WWE history.

Chemistry, cohesiveness, unity.

That's a faction.

This is one of the most in -sync teams
I've ever seen.

You cannot force chemistry.

It just has to come naturally.

They think as one. They act as one. I
think the guys have got to somewhat get

along. Edge, Christian, and Kirk, he
met, will rule this company again.

They sacrifice for one another. They put
the group before oneself.

Obviously, you've got to have some dudes
that's willing to go to battle with you

each and every day, have your back.
There is nothing or no one.

that can stop us. There's definitely
strength in numbers.

Overwhelming force is the key to the
game.

The numbers game. Always the numbers
game with this pack of dogs.

Going into a fight knowing you have a
strong team behind you gives you a lot

confidence. We're here.

So a faction in wrestling consists of a
lot of guys getting together for a

common cause.

You will show the WWE champion and his
cabinet respect.

Generally to cause a lot of chaos and
mayhem.

What are these guys doing?

Well, if you're going to have a good
faction, we've got to have one, at least

three members.

There's a centerpiece, but that
centerpiece can help pull other talent

I think a wrestling faction needs a
leader. People in life have to take

The talker. Ravishing Rick Rude, Steve
Austin, and the Dangerous Alliance

There's so much experience between all

Then you have the recipe for a really

wreaked havoc.

I can't really pick a favorite.

You know, for me personally, the brood
was massive.

I knew it was cool.

Gang Brown, Edge, and Christian.

The Freebirds.

Oh, my God.

Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, and Terry
Gordy. Her business.

The almighty Bobby Lashley with MVP in
tow.

Main Street Posse.

Right to censor.

Yeah, too cool.

Too cool, and Rikishi breaking it down.

LWO. Being in LWO is another history
-making moment. The LWO is

rolling! It was mind -blowing for me,
but also the crowd.

They knew what it meant for Latinos.

As soon as the lights go out and you
hear our theme going, you can totally

the change of atmosphere no matter where
we go. This trio of Imperium is just

mentally more advanced.

We can go everywhere together and
everybody can support the other one.

definitely the backbone of every
faction.

The NWO is the only way to go.

Y 'all significantly brought something
different to the table. I think all of

There's just something about factions
that is undeniably cool. Whether it's

Avengers, the Justice League, the X -Men
from comics, or the LeBron Lakers of

the NBA, we are always drawn to the
super teams.

And when it comes to WWE's OG super
group, look no further than the Four

Horsemen. Led by the nature boy, Ric
Flair, the horsemen were obsessed with

being the best.

Their superior in -ring abilities,
gifted mic skills, and perhaps above

their limousine riding, gold watch
wearing, jet setter lifestyle truly made

symbols of excellence.

You have got the cream of the crop. Ric
Flair, Anderson, Blanchard, Barry

Windham, J .J. Dillon, we are.

The full workman is not just an idea.

It's a state of mind.

You got Art Anderson there as the
enforcer. He was stoic when he played

role to a tee.

Tully Blanchard was the first cool bad
guy that I ever saw.

And really, he's just electric as hell.

Oh, I've seen this thing happen time and
time and again. How could I top that?

You got J .J. Dillon speaking for
everybody.

We rule the world of professional
wrestling.

And then you had Barry Windham, too,
which all the stuff he did was so

And he was just a brilliant technician.

Barry Windham is quite an athlete.

I think my dad was the perfect leader
just because he's always and will always

come across like a star.

The

horsemen

were always on the road. No time for
sleep.

Those guys were rock stars. They were
that group that was an attraction heel.

The class of the wrestling world are
horseman fans.

Drinks, girls, jets, money, all of that,
I think that's something that a lot of

people want.

The lifestyle of the rich and the
famous.

The boys had a blast, and they had a few
good years that they're not going to

forget for the rest of their lives.

Lingerie! What a day!

They're larger than life and not in that
hyperbolic way that we say in the world

of sports entertainment.

Four horsemen were able to party and
still take care of business.

Now they're double teaming. To give the
horsemen the advantage that they

suddenly have right now.

We beat up who we want to beat up, when
we want to beat them up.

They knew what things to do and take
advantage of as a unit.

They were the OGs. No one talked more
smack, had more accolades.

To me, it looks like the horsemen got
more hardware than true value.

The world tag team champion, the United
States champion.

I'm just the world heavyweight champion.

And their endless accomplishments led to
the Horsemen becoming the first faction

to be inducted into the WWE Hall of
Fame.

We wanted to show everybody we were the
best in the business every night.

The symbol of excellence in professional
wrestling.

We are the thugs in professional
wrestling.

I think we'll be considered the greatest
wrestling faction of all time.

What a run.

Can't beat the four horsemen, ever.

Diamonds are forever, and so are the
horsemen.

Woo!

Forever legendary.

For life.

Which brings us to one of sports
entertainment's most revolutionary

NWO. The New World.

This group was comprised of WWE main
event stars who were invading WCW and

helped move the industry into an edgier,
darker territory.

Their actions made fans question if what
they were watching was actually

supposed to happen, and it helped
wrestling become a bona fide pop culture

phenomenon.

Here's the NWO!

The NWO revolutionized everything.

It blurred the lines between reality and
fiction.

They were just so cool, man. Their
music, how they dress.

They were like the first guys to kind of
just represent the establishment. We're

going to do things our way, and we're
going to look cool doing it.

The original NWO was more about anarchy.

Oh, for crying out loud.

This is... This is NWO Country.

It kind of matched what was really going
on in society where everything had an

edge.

It was cool to cheer for the bad guy.

Are you here to see WCW?

Or are you here to see the NWO?

Let's rewind a little bit.

NWO's greatest hits.

At WCW's 1996 Bash at the Beach, the
question was, who would be the third man

join the Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott
Hall?

The drama is sick!

Unbelievable!

I thought the build -up to it, who's the
third man, was huge. It was one of the

coolest things in wrestling.

We didn't know who the third man was for
real.

Hulkamania! Hulk Hogan is here!

When I went out, It looked like I was
coming out to save Macho Man.

Who's bad now, boys?

Is he dead?

Is he the third man? He's the third man.

Oh, my God.

I knew with all the stuff that was
thrown in the ring, the trash and the

bottles, we had pissed some people off.

And I knew that we were off and running.

This right here.

Here's the future of wrestling.

You can call this the New World Order of
Wrestling, brother.

You know, that NWO thing blew up. It was
huge.

NWO was hot.

I just remember, man. I mean, it
resonated within the world of what was

wrestling. It was unique. It was cool.
It was edgy.

Oh, no!

He threw him like he was a dart!

NWO really put this whole thing on the
map. It was just exciting because the

they talked and the way they intimidated
you, they took the torch and ran with

it. Don't call us, we'll call you. Yeah,
it's invitation only there, chicos.

The NWO got so big, of course there was
going to be some dissension.

Up until the point where it became the
Wolfpack.

The Wolfpack was more hip.

It was more street.

I was Wolfpack guy, black and red all
the way.

You have guys like Conan and Disco
Inferno.

Lex Luger?

Who knows?

At some point, everybody joined.

Everywhere you went, Whether

it was Wolfpack NWO or original NWO, it
was just cool.

Hey, everybody knows that since we came
here, Nitro's the hottest deal going,

right? I got to give credit where credit
is due.

A lot of the really great stuff that you
saw came from Scott Hall, came from

Kevin Nash, came from Hulk Hogan, came
from X -Pac, and it was just born out of

their chemistry.

We ain't going to change the world as
you know it or what.

WWE would go on to immortalize the NWO
by inducting them into the Hall of Fame

class of 2020.

Because of these guys here, the NWO is
still alive.

Everybody knows NWO is for life.

But now that we're in the WWE Hall of
Fame, it's a reality, brothers.

The industry -altering ramifications the
NWO had was just too sweet.

Their WWE counterpart during the Monday
Night War was also a paradigm -shifting

faction that broke all the rules and
rewrote sports entertainment history.

That faction? D -Generation X.

An elite gang of rebels, DX broke down
the establishment and pretty much did

whatever the hell they wanted, whenever
they wanted, and got away with it, which

made Raw is War must -see TV.

Good evening, my fellow Americans.

The following is the standards and
practices that DX promises to

adhere to.

Viewer discretion is advised.

but will be completely ignored.

DX was the definition of rebellion.

Degeneration X, is that it?

Degeneration X, you make your rules and
we will break them.

It was just the right thing for that
time period. It was perfect.

We promise there will be less

They were making up their own rules,
they were doing whatever they wanted,

it felt so authentic.

If you're down with D -Generation X,

They were on top of their game. They
were heels, but they were baby faces and

people loved them. Every time we came
through the curtain, it just seemed

I mean, we couldn't do any wrong.

It was like getting up to bat and
hitting a home run every time you get up

bat. Mike Tyson is the newest member of
D -Generation X! This is not your

generation. This is not the next
generation.

This is degeneration. And X marks the
spot.

They had somebody for every role. They
had the tag team.

They had...

Triple H is a world champion. They had
Shawn as world champion. X -Pac could be

cruiserweight champ. They had Chyna, who
was truly special.

One of the most dominant women to ever
step foot in a WWE ring.

The toughest woman in the entire world.

They were entertaining and fun, but then
they were also legitimate.

I'm ordering you two clowns to start
showing some respect.

Okay, Sarge, we'll start showing you
some respect.

Suck it!

There isn't much more in your face than
telling somebody to suck it and then

obviously then pointing to your crotch.
It doesn't leave a lot to the

imagination. Suck it!

The crotch job. We were doing that for
years. We just started being us. And it

got a reaction.

And then it just exploded.

Okay. Tell you how many detention slips
I got because I kept telling everybody

I'll throw myself in the fire here

They got to do whatever they want.

They showed up to WCW.

In a tank.

D -Generation X invades WCW tonight.

It said, hey, we want the smoke.

All right.

It was a blast.

We invaded CNN Tower and security's
trying to stop us.

And then we invaded their office. The
cops came and technically we actually

arrested for that. It was incredible.

D -Generation X.

One of the most controversial groups in
the history of entertainment.

All they've done is what they wanted to
do. And I think that's why they're still

just so iconic and memorable to this
day. They still do reunions. The

X is back.

We see them on Raw or SmackDown every
now and then. Whether it's the Hall of

Fame. I mean, there's a whole generation
out there that we corrupted.

Whenever they group up together, it's
just they're up to the same old antics

that got them there in the first place.

Holy cow, I see four cocks hanging out.

What are the chances of that?

Fast forward years and years later, we
have the D -Generation X standing in the

ring. Cross of Imperium. People that we
used to watch as little kids.

Absolutely crazy.

I mean, there's so many great factions
in WWE that have gone on through the

years, but I don't think anything
touches DX on that entertainment level

as top -notch competitors and world
champions.

And if you ain't down with that, we got
two words for ya!

I will admit...

I, too, spent many a day in detention
after showing my demonstrable passion

everything.

Diek. I mean, come on. There is just
nothing as much fun as raging against

machine. Which brings us to the machine
themselves.

During the Attitude Era of the late 90s,
anti -heroes emerged as the new faces

of WWE.

Wanting to reshape his company's image
and establish order, the boss formed The

Corporation, a group of mercenaries
willing to do Mr. McMahon's bidding no

matter the cost.

A damn fool is someone who doesn't
pucker up and kiss the boss's ass.

Mr. McMahon was always that.

Horrible, evil bot.

Don't about McMahon's law.

He craved control and he wanted every
bit of it. We can either do this the

way or we can do this the hard way, Mr.
Austin.

So Mr.

McMahon creates a faction.

Here comes the corporation.

Ken Shamrock and the big boss man test
and the rock.

There's a sharpshooter.

McMahon said ring the bell.

Wait a minute.

The Rock, when he sold out to Vince
McMahon and the corporation, just became

like a super group to me. I'm like, I
don't know how anybody has a chance

against them.

Let's get down to business, y 'all.

Who wouldn't want to be in the
corporation?

Everybody and their mother should be
raising their hand to be in the boss's

faction. It had a lot of people in it.

Having Shane there, having the Stooges
there. You want me to get you some

coffee? I'll get you that. Please, I'll
take care of it.

Like in every other job, right? When you
go with the boss, you might have some

benefits. Where's my coffee?

It was important for me to align myself
with Mr. McMahon because we made great

TV together.

Benny's got a sweet tooth.

It gives performers opportunities to be
seen in a higher light.

Being a part of something he's
associated with is a huge deal.

Gonna get the title matches.

The end of the big spot.

The Rock plans on playing you with the
corporate elbow.

It's a story that everybody can relate
to.

Most of the people that sit in that
audience had a job before where they

hated their boss and hated all the
people that tried to kiss ass to the

return the favor.

But try to defy him, and you'd feel his

corporation is fondly remembered by fans

many unforgettable moments they were a
part of during WWE's hottest period.

Now, our next faction was led by the
self -proclaimed smartest man in

Bobby the Brain Heenan, who was the
mastermind manager behind the Heenan

a collective of WWE's most vile and
despicable rogues that fans just loved

hate but had to respect.

New records. I'm going to set new
heights. And I'm going to do it by

the biggest dynasty of professional
wrestling.

I've got Percolene, the king. Harley
Wright, Mr.

Wonderful. Bing Hong Bunting.

The Heenan family, you don't mess with
us. We're the dominant force of

professional wrestling.

I'm going to make you more money than
any wrestler in the history of

The Heenan family was so good because
Bobby.

Bobby was great.

There was no denying the success that a
superstar would have under his tutelage.

Bobby Heenan and I put together the
winning package.

I thought it was great if somebody could
be called a member of the Heenan

family. Bobby Heenan really put a star
right there on you.

Hulk Hogan, Hulkamania is over.

During the 1980s, the Heenan family
would gain worldwide notoriety in their

quest to destroy Hulkamania.

Hulkamania died, and Bundy Mania is
born.

Right after Hulkster, another avalanche.
I just saw a man and a faction that...

did what they felt they needed to do to
be successful.

You're the one that for three years as
world champion used this man.

Did you ever once offer him a
championship match?

Despite his claims of being the world's
smartest manager, Keenan's brilliance

didn't always carry him to victory.

The referees are biased.

They go one way and they go for Hogan.
Although Heaton couldn't rid the world

Hulkamania, he led a who's who of WWE
Hall of Famers to prestige and

championship gold.

Having him on your side was definitely
better than having him against you. You

listen to me, you go to the top.

You don't listen to me.

You're never heard from again. Bring
those World Wrestling Federation belts.

they're going home to the Heenan family.

If you keep your game plan like you plan
on doing, you're going to become the

Bobby Heenan and the Bobby Heenan
family, we're here to stay.

A legendary manager, performer, color
commentator, and WWE Hall of Famer, The

Brain will forever be remembered as one
of WWE's all -time great entertainers.

So... On to another familial faction,
the Hart Foundation.

Formed in 1997, it was devised as an
anti -American, pro -Canadian faction

riled up U .S. audiences with their
stinging barb at America's supposed

and its lack of value. As you might
imagine, this led to deafening booms in

arenas around the United States and to
some of the most electric rivalries to

ever grace the squared circle.

Davey, I'm asking you for your help
because I need you.

For years, we had seen cracks in the
foundation of the Hart family.

But in 1997, the American wrestling fans
turned on Bret the

Hitman Hart.

That's what they want. They want us to
fight for years.

For what?

To satisfy a bunch of people?

They don't know the first thing about
family values.

He did the only logical thing to do,
which is surround himself with family

form the Heart Foundation.

Family's family, and when you have the
blood in the veins of your partners, you

relate to that.

I've surrounded myself with the best
that the World Wrestling Federation has

offer. Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jim
Neidhart, the British Bulldog, Davey Boy

and of course, Brian Pillman. You're
walking in to the lion's den.

The whole family, the Hart Foundation,
is all united. And the Hart Foundation

stronger than ever.

I got spit all over. I got stuff thrown
at me. Welcome to America.

The Hart Foundation was such a unique
group in that they were reviled by fans

in the U .S. and revered by fans in
Canada.

Canada is a country where we still take
care of the sick and the old, where we

still have health care.

If you turned on Raw one week and they
were in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the

Hart Foundation was the least popular
act that given night.

If you were going to give the United
States of America an enema, you'd stick

holes right here in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.

Literally, once you cross the line
between Canada and the USA, the heart

foundation went from either good guys to
bad guys or bad guys to good guys,

depending on which way you're going.

Across Canada, we all care for each
other, and I am proud to be Canadian.

I can't believe there was a time in
wrestling where genuinely, if you were

America, you just booed Canadian.

And obviously, Calgary Stampede, that
whole night was so wild.

You know what? This is going to be a
homecoming that Canada won't forget, but

particular, Calgary will never forget.
We're going to get hungry and we're

to forget our manners.

When I walked down the ramp, it actually
hurt my ears. I remember going, this is

the loudest sound I've ever heard in my
life.

I don't even know how it happened, but
somehow we all just kind of started to

pile in the ring at the end.

I've never seen anything like this ever.

There was some guy, he gets in the ring
and I go, who are you?

The Maple Leafs have been flying high
tonight, ladies and gentlemen.

That faction could not be any stronger
and more unique and more dynamic.

The biggest advantage that I got is that
I'm out there with my entire family.

We truly are the greatest team in
wrestling history.

They were indeed one of the most
commanding factions in sports

garnering every championship available
at the time, including winning the tag

team championship twice.

In fact, Owen Hart was also briefly a
member of our next faction, the Nation

Domination. But it was their founder and
fearsome leader Farouk, a .k .a. Ron

Simmons, who was truly the face of the
nation.

The socially conscious group developed a
reputation for breaking barriers and

taking care of business.

And along the way, launched the career
of one of the world's most captivating

superstars.

We are the nation, a domination.

Nation, a domination.

We are the nation, live and in color.
Don't diss the man, because we'll bum

-rush your mother.

We are the nation, a domination.

Nation, a domination is a faction that
composes every element that you want in

the faction.

What an intimidating presence the nation
has here in the WWF.

Guys in the nation put people in their
place.

We mean business, and we're here to
stay. It was our one goal, and that was

get you out of the way to achieve what
we wanted to do.

We are going to take matters into our
own hands, and that means by any means

necessary.

When I think of the nation of
domination, I think of the unbelievable

talent that passed through that group in
its several iterations.

I'm damn proud of our nation.

A lot of people that I talk to consider
the nation me.

Hugo Brown.

Mark Henry.

Remember when they put Owen Hart in the
nation?

Why do you think King Owen Hart joined
the nation? A lot of folks are still

wondering about that. Nobody ever
explained to us why Owen was in the

But we all loved Owen so much that we
didn't care.

Ron Simmons was the nation.

Veterans like Ron Simmons, you listen.

And then each night, we would try to be
better than what we were the night

before. Anything in this world that
works in is worth fighting for.

And then, of course, the nation of
domination would harbor the rock.

In arenas across the country, I heard
chants of Rocky sucks.

Rocky sucks.

Rocky sucks.

Rocky sucks. I said, I'm joining the
nation.

It's not a white thing. It's not a black
thing. But it is a me kicking your ass

thing. Well, Rocky might be as a lot of
things, but Sucks isn't one of them.

And from then on, it shot out like a
rocket because I was just able to be

authentic.

This is the greatest day in the history
of the nation. Well, actually, the

greatest day was when The Rock joined.
Rock was starting to take the spotlight

little bit more.

The best way to find out is to ask the
leader of the nation of domination.

Well, it's a good thing, Doc, that you
asked The Rock. You're just begging me

whoop your ass, ain't you?

He started seeing cracks, like Rock was
doing very subtle things to let Farouk

know. Yeah, dog, your spot is mine now.

So The Rock gives everyone in the nation
Rolexes, outside of Farouk. The Rock

offers you this to show his respect and
admiration in joy.

Don't let your emotion carry over. It's
for you, absolutely.

I think I took that picture as soon as

I don't think it made it back to the
dressing room.

I've been thoroughly impressed with the
Nation of Domination. They are a

tremendous unit of very intelligent,
highly skilled, double -cup athletes.

The Nation of Domination is criminal.

underrated as one of the greatest
factions in the history of WWE.

The group of guys that were in the
nation along with my fellow brother, you

couldn't ask for a better group of guys.

When you look at what it did for its
members, especially for The Rock, I

think you get The Rock.

if it's not for the nation of
domination.

If you think you're ready to rumble with
the rock and the rest of the nation,

get ready for your final thrill.

Now, where the nation was all business,
our next faction is all about fun. The

New Day!

The trio of Big E, Xavier Woods, and
Kofi Kingston are known for their wildly

entertaining antics, massive
personalities, and of course, their

positivity. But don't let the good guy
personas fool you. This threesome has

of the most impressive resumes in WWE
history.

How did the New Day come together? Gosh,
I don't know if we have enough time.

Be sour.

Clap for your world -famous Alonzo
champ.

And feel the power.

The power.

It's a new day. Yes, it is.

Let's talk about the new day. Yeah. The
new day, arguably one of the greatest

tag teams in WWE history.

I love the new day.

You know who has the best friendship in
the WWE?

The New Day, baby!

The three of them have been saying
together we can overcome any obstacle.

It's tough to sum them up. They're a
very special breed. They're a special

group. They're the definition of betting
on yourself, Big E, Cole,

Xavier.

And once they started to do that, it was
just like the sky's the limit for them.

You're WWE World Tag Team

Champion!

The chemistry between us comes through
the camera and into people's homes and

they can legitimately feel that.

That's something that I think really set
us apart because it's crowd

participation and when you can come in
and have a good time.

You're going to have a better time at
the show.

They didn't always start out that way.
They actually started out as pastor

preachers.

We can create a new day.

Early 2014, Woods and I started talking
about a faction.

He is the son of a preacher. It kind of
grew off of that.

We knew that the people weren't going to
accept it. The preacher persona didn't

really resonate with the fan.

Until the New Day reinvented themselves
and let their genuine sides shine

through. Leaving the WWE Universe
shouting, New Day Rocks! New

Day Rocks! New Day Rocks! Actually, I'll
give you the origin story of the New

Day Rocks chant. I dug into my
cheerleading bag for a little bit from

So I said, oh, well, we should make our

And things blossomed from there. The
power of positivity.

That was like the essence of New Day.
Reaching this power of positivity and

coming out and being able to interact
with the people in that way really let

elevate to a whole other level.

I feel the power of positivity.

They paved the way to history -making.
New Day, 11 -time tag team

champions.

337 days.

483 days.

News I accomplished more than any other
team ever.

Ever, ever.

They've always had each other's backs
and they've still gone on to do great

things as singles competitors.

Kofi being WWE champ.

Trouble in paradise.

Kofi did it. Kofi is champion.

Woods being king of the ring.

King.

Big E, we call him Goat E, won money in
the bank and became WWE champion.

Your new WWE champion.

Bah.

We are the only team with true
brotherhood. The only team that has

betrayed each other.

Wow. They're not just best friends,
they're family.

They together click so well.

Constantly coming up with something new,
something fresh.

Unicorn horns.

Throwing pancakes out.

Kofi be twerking.

Cereal.

Woods out there playing a horn.

They're timeless. They could do this for
the next 50 years if they wanted to as

New Day.

New Day representing what was new
expected.

These aren't normal things that you see,
and then they're all happening at once

in your face.

Hey, we want some New Day!

And they're number one, and they're
number one for a reason.

I'm happy, happy, happy!

The New Day is certainly in a league of
its own and undoubtedly earned their

place in the conversation as one of the
greatest tag teams and factions of all

time. And in that same conversation, we
must include the hounds of justice,

the Shield. The trio of Roman Reigns,
Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose bulldozed

onto the scene in 2012, carving out a
path of destruction like we had never

before.

Rollins.

Reigns.

Ambrose. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and
Roman Reigns coming from NXT to

form one group to take over all of WWE.

It was so amazing.

Showing up from the crowd gave them a
different look.

The hounds of justice are upon us.

From everything, from the entrance, the
way they presented themselves, to the

chaos that they created, they were so
cool.

The first match we ever had at the
Shield, the WWE Universe just didn't

what to expect.

Here we go, and the brawl is on!

This is awesome!

They definitely brought a new level of
excitement.

You gotta be kidding me!

Roman, rage to the barricade!

This is one of the most brutal battles
I've ever seen.

We thought we were just as good as
anybody in WWE.

They all call me each other because
Seth's the hot flyer. What's this?

And now Seth Rollins taking out Harper!

Dean's like the crazy lunatic fringe.

Ambrose looks a little unstable.

And then you have Roman, who's the
powerhouse.

He's the muscle of the shield.

Spear! Oh, my God!

Three individuals that came together for
a purpose. We came in here, one goal in

mind, knock down doors, kick everybody
out of the way, and run the show.

The Rock being punished by the shield
and its brand of justice.

The Brahma Bulls take it out!

They just cause chaos.

These are three legitimate dudes that
know what they're doing, and they'll put

you through a table at any time.

Triple powerbomb!

Undertaker driven through the table!

We have no friends. We have no eyes.

We don't need them. We don't want them.
They approached it like us against the

world. Evolution, Triple H, Randy Orton,
and Batista.

Everyone wants to know who is the
greatest faction of all time. Tonight,

decide that.

The Shield, standing tall.

Despite their wild success together, The
Shield shockingly broke up in 2014.

It just happened.

The Shield's self -destruction wasn't
all bad, however.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman
Reigns would each elevate their singles

game and start racking up the hardware.

All three members of The Shield went on
to become WWE champion.

It just made you think differently about
what's possible.

With their individual side quests
completed, the time was right to put the

behind them and get the band back
together for a highly anticipated

tour.

This is surreal. This can't be
happening.

We are back, and we are stronger than
ever.

Nobody fights longer or harder than The
Shield. There is no force of nature on

this earth as powerful as The Shield.

It was just good to see all of them come
back together and handle business.

The House of Justice reigns supreme.

To see the Shield come out on top and
their final appearance together, I think

was just a really cool part of history
because we all know what the Shield was

and what it meant to WWE.

We started a whole new culture for this
place and we did it on our own terms.

Believe that.

Oh, I believe it. The Shield was the
real deal. Young and hungry with

unparalleled in -ring skills.

Now, moving on to a stable whose multi
-generational approach would ultimately

create one of the most successful
factions of all time.

Evolution.

Representing the best of the past, the
present, and the future, Evolution was

WWE's dream team.

You see, in this industry, just like in
life, everything evolves.

And what you see in this ring before you
is the greatest example of evolution

you will ever see.

Evolution was one of the great factions.

It really was. They played off each
other really well, and they were a

formidable group of people.

Evolution starts because of Ric Flair
and Triple H. Of Triple H! And with me,

there is no hype necessary.

Ric Flair, 16 times heavyweight champion
of the world.

They handpick.

third -generation superstar Randy Orton
and Batista to kind of groom and shape

them to be the future of WWE, the
evolution, if you will.

We may be looking at the future of Raw
right there.

Triple H wanted me to be one of the
guys, and it was like, oh, my God, this

great. It was great seeing two guys come
up and become so successful, and both

of those kids caught on really fast.

You've got something special.

I haven't seen something like you come
along in a long, long time.

This would set us up with two of the
greatest wrestlers that have ever lived.

Randy and I are very giddy about the
idea of us being paired with them.

Evolution was, I think it was my
favorite section.

They had it all going for them. Money,
success.

They were always around women.

Nice cars.

They were sitting courtside at
basketball games. And when you saw them,

that they were it. They were money. They
looked like money. Together as a group,

they just had that it factor.

And their work in the ring was
tremendous as well.

Evolution's crowning achievement would
take place at Armageddon in 2003.

As not one. The RKO!

The intercontinental title is now in the
camp of evolution.

Not two.

There's just no way in hell that the
Dudleys can withstand this.

You've got to be kidding me. We have new
world tag team champions and it's

evolution. Not three, but all four
members of the group would become

I can't believe it.

What a night for evolution.

They're all champions. They're all of
evolution.

It felt right for us to be all holding
titles.

It felt right, and it looked cool as
hell.

There's a bond between the four of us
that can't ever be broken up. That is

of the big key flagpoles in the ground
of the Ruthless Aggression era is

evolution.

A group of guys that checked every box,
looked the part, worked the part, talked

the part, and they're all Hall of
Famers.

You don't see that often.

It's bigger than DX.

It's bigger than the Four Horsemen. It's
the biggest monopoly in the history of

industry. For the period of time we were
together, it was great. We did big

business.

I think that hands -down evolution is
the most important thing that I've done.

Obviously one of the greatest factions
of all time. Just off world title wins

alone.

50 world titles between these four
legends.

We walked through that curtain and it
felt like the energy changed.

There was something really special about
that group.

If you don't have what it takes, then
evolution will leave you behind.

So if you wake up one day and you're
wondering what in the hell happened,

evolution.

has just passed you by.

With a combined 50 World Championship
reigns, Flair with a joint record of 16,

Triple H and Orton with 14, and Batista
with 6, it's fair to say Evolution is

one of the most powerful factions to
ever be formed.

But if there's one group that threatens
to dethrone the King of Kings stable,

It's the Bloodline, who are in the midst
of a historic run as we speak.

With the undisputed WWE Universal
Champion Roman Reigns atop the pedestal,

flanked closely by the Usos and Solo
Sokoa, the Samoan Heritage Bloodline

an unmatched penchant for excellence
that centers around loyalty to family

most importantly, to their tribal chief.

I'm challenging anybody.

me and my family the twins solo the wise
man we're not lying to you we are the

best this isn't a promo i didn't look in
the mirror in the shower and come up

with this stuff this is as real as it
gets the bloodline has all the damn gold

i'm not the only megastar here anymore
the whole bloodline is i think what's

made the bloodline so dominant is that
they have all of the correct pieces to

successful acknowledge me

You have Roman Reigns, who's one of the
most dominant world champions that we've

had. Roman Reigns has been champion for
945

days. You've got the Usos, one of the
best tag teams in the history

of wrestling.

The Usos, well past 600 days as
champions.

You've got Solo Sokoa coming up and
making his own name for himself.

The impulsor solo Sacoa is just felt a
little different.

And then on top of that, the mindset
like a Paul Heyman. This is what we do.

We earned this.

We don't deserve it. We earned it. And
through our hard work, everyone will

understand there's no one else that can
do this.

Bloodline isn't just a work name.

We're actually family. We grew up
together.

We moved together.

It goes from the high chief.

Peter Maivia, to the Wild C'mon's
Offense sequel, to Tonga Kid, to

Umaga, to Yokozuna, to Manu, to Jimmy
and Jake, the Usos, to

Roman Reigns.

Our legacy is such a thick web, and I'm
not just responsible for me.

Like I said, I'm here to elevate
everybody.

Roman Reigns, the man whose job it is to
make sure his family stays at the top

of the food chain.

You have Roman Reigns in charge, and
then you have the rest of his family who

are willing to go out and do basically
whatever he tells them to.

He expects two things from his family,
dominant and supreme loyalty.

The elders, they may have sent you, but
you answer to me now.

I acknowledge you, my tribal chief.

All of these guys are going to have
their backs for the other so much more

any other faction because that's what
they've been doing since literally the

they've been born.

Jay Uso has handcuffed Owens to the damn
cage!

I'll shed blood for every single one of
my family members in here because it's

my family!

We're out there in the ring dominating
this business.

We haven't even begun yet.

There's so much more greatness to chase.

So much more to come indeed.
