When...

did you get this?

It's what Tae Hyeon left me.

Daeyeong Tech's secrets and corruption.

My brother...

had been looking up on Kim Do Hak and Seo Min Kyu.

Baek Seung Jae.

How do you know him?

I need to know...

why that's important.

My brother...

might be dead because of him.

So I must catch him.

My brother.

Where is he now?

It won't be him.

There's no way it is.

He's not...

- the type to harm someone. - That's for me to investigate.

Tell me where he is.

Ms. Jung Seo Yeon.

- What's the matter? - I have bad news.

Thugs barged into Mr. Oh's office...

What'll happen to Mr. Oh?

- We have to call the police. - Let go.

It looks bad. Can't you come over?

I'll be right there.

What's wrong?

Give him my message.

I'll see him soon.

(Episode 17)

Did you really steal it?

Daeyeong Tech.

- 10 million of Kim Do Hak's... - It's 9.9 million.

And I know it's dangerous money.

Leave the country first.

It won't be long before Kim Do Hak learns your name.

He's questioning the money launderer you met, so hurry.

I bought your plane ticket.

I'll pack you some things that will be of help.

Do you know Kang Tae Hyeon?

Who's that?

He managed the finances at that company.

He died right in front of me.

And I took his money.

What did you have to do with that?

The dead driver.

Was he your man?

What are you talking about?

There's no time. Take this.

Tell the truth.

Do you think...

this is the gaze of a liar?

You know me...

better than I do.

Let's leave together.

There's no time. Let's go to the airport.

I won't run away like this.

I'll take my share of the money...

and leave as I planned.

Kim Do Hak isn't the problem!

When the real owner of the money returns...

Seo Yeon.

Please do as I say.

We never part on a good note.

I'm always deceived and hurt.

And have regrets.

This time, I make the decisions.

Seo Yeon.

Ms. Jang.

If Ms. Jang Geum Ja's guardian hears this message,

please contact Sungho Hospital.

She has regained consciousness, and she's currently resting.

I don't know who she is.

I really don't know!

Chop it off.

Let go! No, you lunatics!

Stop right there.

Look how ugly you made things.

Making me wait like this.

Mr. Oh. Are you all right?

Mr. Oh doesn't know anything, so you can talk to me.

- Goodness. - Mr. Oh!

Mr. Oh. I can't believe this.

Those jerks.

You need to go to the hospital.

It's okay.

- I won't die. - Mr. Oh!

All your other shops have been attacked.

They broke everything and hurt your employees.

No one will be able to come.

The receiver cannot be reached.

Let's go to the hospital first, okay?

You wanted to avenge your brother's death,

so even when you seemed like a loser who lost his mind,

I felt impressed and waited for you.

Then you should've come up with some results.

Who is that woman?

I met her on a blind date.

I was thinking of getting married.

It's not the time to make jokes.

You must be really anxious.

I heard the real owner of that money is coming back soon.

But you still have nothing.

Give it to me.

I can't put up with you anymore.

I'll get rid of you myself.

Answer it.

Stay here.

Don't come any closer.

You sound quite feisty.

Where is Mr. Kang Tae Woo?

I'll let him go.

Once I receive my money.

Don't come near me.

Let Mr. Kang go first.

You can stop the act.

Got it?

You think I can't do it?

[Kocowa Ver] KBS2 E17 'Woman of 9.9 Billion' "In Pyo's Obstruction" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

Bring him.

Are you okay?

Is Mr. Oh safe too?

When I give you the signal, start running.

I'll be able to stop a few of them, so you can...

No.

You can stay out of this now.

I started this, so I will end it myself.

Can't you see it's not as simple as you think?

You and I...

have done enough.

We should part ways now.

Seo Yeon.

Stop it already!

Who are you to tell me what to do?

I asked Baek Seung Jae myself.

He said he has nothing to do with your brother's accident.

Isn't that enough?

I don't believe him.

I do.

To me,

he's more important than you.

That's for the money you threw away.

We still need to settle up, don't we?

Don't forget the money.

Darn it.

It's 2.895 million.

It's 2.895 million dollars.

Where's the rest?

You stole 10 million dollars, for goodness' sake.

This is all you're returning?

Where is the rest of the money?

Do you have a death wish?

Thank you for checking the exact amount.

Now, I'd like to...

collect my money.

- What? - Had it not been for me,

the police would've taken it at the scene of the accident.

Then by now,

they'd be interrogating you about where the money came from.

You were able to avoid that thanks to me,

so I'd like to be compensated for it.

Hey.

Can you not gauge the situation?

You've been dragged to your gravesite,

so give up that spirit and act like you're dead.

Okay?

Let's die together, then.

(Daeyeong Tech)

Who are you?

Gosh!

Darn it.

Gosh.

- Get him! - Stop him.

You scumbag.

- Gosh! - You piece of...

Hold on.

Sir!

Sir! Sir.

Sir, wait. Sir. I'll find the money for you.

I know where it is. I can find it.

Honey, don't worry.

Leave it to me.

Kang Tae Woo and now, even your husband.

You have a knack for making things worse.

You got a lot of nerve.

My boss isn't the type to take pity on others.

That's what I'm here to do.

Mr. Seo.

I'm here to save you.

Kang Tae Hyeon's flash drive.

You have it, don't you?

Don't be surprised.

Tae Woo has the same files.

The flash drive contains files about the company's illegal deeds...

as well as many corrupt deeds you committed in secret.

I bet your boss doesn't even know that such files exist.

Those files would make the police happy as well.

You won't get anything out of threatening me like this.

When my boss...

gives his orders,

you'll die anyway.

Whether I survive or not, I'll figure it out.

2.895 million dollars.

Take good care...

of my money.

Keep a watchful eye...

on where it's sent to.

Threats won't even work.

She put her life on the line to steal that money.

I'm her husband, and even I was so surprised.

You really shouldn't underestimate that woman.

He's right about that.

Scaring her won't work.

Exactly. I'm telling you.

Did you say you know where the rest of the money is?

Yes, that's right.

I'll find it as soon as possible so that there are no more problems.

There's a simpler way.

If you tell us what you know...

Thank you, sir.

My guys will go there and collect the money.

Why take the hard way when there's an easy way?

That money scares me, so I don't even want to touch it.

Taking my wife home safe and sound...

and maybe a little bit of money for my business?

That's all I ask for.

Thank you for the tissue.

Thank you. Thank you so much.

What did I say?

I told you that you'd end up coming back to me.

What are you trying to do?

What did you say to those people?

Don't worry about anything.

I'll get this all sorted out.

You'll sort it out?

Just don't get in my way.

I have a plan too.

Lee Jae Hun, 2.8 million dollars.

And Yoon Hee Ju got 3.3 million dollars as a trust fund.

The more you love the person, the more you know about her.

Do you think there's anything I don't know about you?

I love you so much.

Are you the one...

that visited Ms. Jang's place?

Just trust me and wait.

I'll get you out of here very soon.

You wish.

I'm done with you.

We must restart where we ended.

I'll make sure of it.

I'll bring you back to my side...

and get the money...

that's all over the place.

(Episode 18 will air shortly.)

(Episode 18)

That might protect your stomach but not your thighs.

How many will you beat up with that?

About 4? Or 5?

Do Hak has 10 times that many men.

If you want to die, take some potassium cyanide.

Why waste your energy?

You did well so far.

My boss talked things out with Ms. Jung Seo Yeon's husband.

Her husband?

Hong In Pyo went there?

He said he'll bring back the rest of the money.

He says he knows where it is.

If it's not sorted out by tomorrow,

both you...

and I are dead men.

We got tangled up with a complicated woman.

Because you...

told her about the flash drive.

Mr. Seo. Seo Min Kyu!

Let him go. They made a deal.

Let go! Didn't you hear him?

Ms. Jung's in danger!

Why do you care if she is?

What right do you have? Are you best friends?

Lovers?

Why bother when she has a husband?

Husband? The fool is a psycho, okay?

I think you're an even worse psycho.

Get a grip!

If Tae Hyeon were to see you now,

wouldn't he be so proud?

Mr. Oh.

Do you still think...

you're in your right mind?

Shoot.

Darn it!

He asked about the trust fund.

If there were...

any anonymous donations made in the past few days.

Around three million dollars.

- So? - I'd know...

if that large amount came in.

I told him that no such amount came into the foundation.

Oh, I almost forgot. A classmate from the university...

wants to donate to our foundation.

How is that done?

What do you think?

He calls the relevant department.

He works with ready money, so the donation will be all in cash.

Where does all that money go to anyway?

My friend...

wants to know how the donations are distributed.

I'm the chairwoman.

Ask someone from Accounting.

I should do that then.

Seo Yeon's here.

The fake cop isn't home.

In the middle of a snowstorm

That windy Heungnam Port

(Chairwoman Yoon Hee Ju)

What brings you here?

Did you get in touch with Seo Yeon?

Please help me, Hee Ju.

Stole it?

Are you saying Seo Yeon stole that money?

Yes.

So...

where is she now? At the police station?

No. The owner of the money has her locked up.

I don't know where.

They're not men who do legitimate business.

I barely stopped them from using violence...

and came to you for help.

You shouldn't have.

You should've called the police first.

What about my wife then?

Watch her go to jail for stealing?

I... I can't do that.

By the way, I heard my wife entrusted you...

with her money. I think the amount was...

about 3.3 million dollars.

If those thugs come here and cause trouble,

that won't be good for you or the foundation.

They said if you return the money, they'll let Seo Yeon go.

So I will... quietly take care of it.

I'm grateful.

However,

why don't you drop your act in front of me?

Pretending you're a nice husband.

What are you talking about?

The reason why Seo Yeon ran away from home,

and how she endured living with you all this time.

Did you think I wouldn't know, just because she didn't tell me?

There's a timing to fixing your mistakes from the past.

No matter how hard you try now,

Seo Yeon won't come back that easily.

Her body...

and even her heart.

A third party can never tell the real truth...

about a married couple.

Has your marriage always been happy?

Mr. Lee seems to be so immature, you know.

Just return the money for the trust fund.

My wife has to come back safely...

in order for us to receive counseling at least, right?

I'm curious if you'll really use the money...

to save Seo Yeon.

An incompetent husband has the right to love his wife too.

Without her,

my life will become meaningless.

I came to you in trust of your friendship.

I'll have to check with the person in charge,

and you'll be able to withdraw it this afternoon.

I'll be waiting for your call.

Here.

Lee Sang Cheol. He joined Daeyeong Tech in 2017.

I checked his personnel records,

and he worked in the security team...

before being moved to the transport team this year.

Like transporting cash and stuff.

I'm sorry.

I wanted to find out more since it's related to Tae Hyeon,

but this is all I found out.

I know well you'll be suspended if you're caught giving me this.

I'm the one who should be sorry.

By the way, the address of that dead driver...

isn't just an ordinary residence.

What?

(Personnel Record Card)

(CEO Baek Seung Jae)

I'm Kang Tae Hyeon's brother.

You heard about me, right?

I heard it from Seo Yeon.

Then you probably knew I'd come to visit you.

Please take a seat.

My brother died.

Because of the 10 million Leon tried to hide.

Do you think it was really a coincidence...

that accident occurred as soon as you returned?

That picture was on my brother's flash drive.

What do you have to say?

Seo Yeon is in danger.

That's a choice she made.

Don't you remember what kind of a man Kim Do Hak is.

He won't let her go even if he gets the money back.

Your affection for one another is so touching.

Seo Yeon didn't say anything either, trying to protect you.

You don't have to mind now, since her husband is helping.

That jerk Hong In Pyo is a psycho.

She ruined Seo Yeon's life.

You don't seem very helpful either.

I'm sorry about what happened to your brother,

but I'll have to save my sister first.

Sister?

Seo Yeon...

is a pitiful girl.

Baek Seung Jae, Jung Seo Yeon...

You two are brother and sister with different fathers.

My dad...

was a hopeless alcoholic.

I ran away when I was young but Seo Yeon...

endured that miserable life desperately...

and persistently.

When she had nothing to eat, she stole from a local shop.

When she was caught by thugs from the bus terminal,

she always used to run away.

Every time, Seo Yeon was...

faster and bolder than me.

She's stronger than anyone I know,

but if she's been taken by a man like Kim Do Hak,

she won't be safe.

We don't have time for this.

Don't you want to save Seo Yeon too?

Stop it already!

Who are you to tell me what to do?

It's just because of a deal we struck.

No way.

Seo Yeon is not the type that trusts someone easily.

What is...

your relationship with her?

I'll give you time until Seo Yeon is safe.

But...

don't even think of running away.

If Hee Ju took the money,

where could she have hidden it?

(Director Lee Jae Hun)

No, no way.

- Did the Head of Finances come in? - You have a visitor.

My goodness.

Hey. I gave you work,

a commission, and even some extra cash,

but what? You want more money? Are you crazy?

We took care of all that extra troublesome work though.

I need to silence that ethnic Korean-Chinese guy too.

Hey! You better not touch that!

Get out, both of you.

Everything is so messed up lately. With beggars like you coming here.

Hey, you.

I told you to get out.

Mr. Lee, what's really messed up...

is what happened to that dead girl, Yoo Mi Ra.

You jerk. You better shut your mouth.

That guy keeps trying to turn himself in.

What should we do, Mr. Lee?

Those cheap punks.

[Kocowa Ver] KBS2 E18 'Woman of 9.9 Billion' "Hee Ju Knows Everything" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

Hey. What is this?

Do you even know who I am?

Why are you doing this to me?

Yoo Mi Ra.

Did you kill her?

I don't know.

Who is she?

Yoo Mi Ra.

Did you kill her?

I don't know.

Who is she?

Stop.

Honey.

What is all this nonsense?

I was scared to death, thinking this was real!

What's really messed up...

is what happened to that dead girl, Yoo Mi Ra.

That guy keeps trying to turn himself in.

What should we do, Mr. Lee?

Yoon Hee Ju.

You even bugged my office?

Lee Jae Hun.

Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind?

How could you kill someone? Over some money?

It's not that...

Take a good look.

Why is this money here...

Hee Ju.

You knew from the beginning?

About you and Seo Yeon fooling around?

Or about you two stealing all that money?

Yes.

I knew everything.

But...

I really didn't know you'd kill someone.

My husband, the father of my child!

Conspiring murder?

Hee Ju. No!

Hee Ju, no.

I can... I can explain everything.

You can't explain anything.

Do you know why? Since you know nothing.

This money that you and Seo Yeon were about to split.

You have no idea how dangerous this is.

Do you?

I thought...

that I was special.

Even when my husband cheated on me with my friend,

and even if he stole money,

I thought I could...

put up with it...

and still control you.

Do you want to make me into an ordinary woman?

- Hee Ju. - Lee Jae Hun.

You're a gift sent to me from the deity.

Just in case I'm too perfect,

you're a gift that he sent...

as a handicap.

Please don't kill me, sir.

Please.

All I did was run an errand.

Please...

Now, you and I...

are both sinners.

I took care of...

the stain that you left.

My kingdom must be absolutely perfect.

No one should dare...

leave a scratch on it.

I'll do anything.

What do I have to do?

There's another stain.

Jung Seo Yeon.

You should get rid of her.

Hee Ju.

Yes, of course...

It was Seo Yeon who suggested we steal the money, yes.

That's where it all went wrong.

But the accident at the studio apartment...

was just that, an accident.

Mr. Hong suddenly got involved and turned it into a mess.

Lee Jae Hun.

Hee Ju. I'm not making excuses.

I didn't expect much from you.

I'll deal with Seo Yeon.

Why on earth were you attracted to her?

What about her captivated you?

I don't know.

I don't know anymore.

I bet she didn't know herself.

The more you try to get out, the deeper you get sucked in.

Her fate and that of the person who took her hand.

They both will end up in quicksand.

And sink deeper.

I'm going to Tahiti.

It's the place Paul Gauguin lived and painted.

I want to go there.

- Mr. Lee - Don't be surprised.

You came to the right office.

I see.

Where's Hee Ju?

The thing is, we made a deal earlier.

The trust fund money?

My wife left a message for you.

She can't bring herself to trust you,

so she can't give you such a large sum.

She told you about the money herself?

Is something wrong?

No.

A married couple shouldn't have secrets.

One more thing.

The advice you once gave me.

I'm so grateful for it.

I'll be thankful I have a fancy cover.

I won't yearn for too much.

This is why the rich can't be trusted.

They never keep their promises.

They're just too suspicious.

That's because you do things that are out of character.

Since when were you such a devoted husband?

The last time I saw,

you'd taped her to a chair so she couldn't move.

Mr. Hong.

Don't get overly greedy.

Return to the place that suits you.

Whether that's a cold storage...

or a junkyard.

Okay?

Live a long and sickly life in your wife's protection.

Darn it.

How much do we have if we get everything from Un Am Foundation?

8,995,000 dollars.

Put it in the Gimpo warehouse.

(Kim Do Hak)

Let's find out what he does.

Did he...

not give any other instructions?

Hey. Mr. Seo.

Yes?

You ask a lot of questions these days.

That can't be.

It's been a while.

You could've called if you were back.

Where's the money?

The money you got in return for Seo Yeon. You spent it already?

Whether she lives or dies?

Don't do this.

I put my life on the line to save my wife.

It's where they took her.

(CEO Oh Dae Yong)

Excuse me.

What is this doing on the floor?

It's so special.

Go back to where you belong.

Here. Hit me.

Hit me. I'm sorry, so hit me and let's be even.

I said hit me.

You could've just slapped me instead.

Darn it.

You still pack a punch.

You could work in the field.

Thanks.

For not talking about Seo Yeon.

Baek Seung Jae is...

her older brother.

They have different dads.

He wanted to save his sister, and I couldn't keep pushing him.

Do just one thing.

Avenge your brother or save someone's sister.

You can't do both.

(New message)

I located Seo Yeon.

She's at a villa in Paju that belongs to Daeyeong Tech.

Over here! Please!

(Woman of 9.9 Billion)

Some woman called Yoo Mi Ra died accidentally.

That woman started this whole mess!

If Baek Seung Jae really killed Tae Hyeon,

what'll you do then?

Jung Seo Yeon! She's like quicksand.

If you get close to her, you'll go down as well.

A tough fight will begin soon. Let's fight together, darling.

That woman toyed with us.

Tae Woo!

- The police will be here soon. - I must get my money.

There's no way to get it back.

We must go. Pull yourself together!
