but this is not your normal size for

excretion from worms this is much

problem with this is the size of this uh

earthworm poop so to speak is

tremendously bigger than a normal size

earthworm can you can you just come and

take a look take a look at worm

droppings I mean it's part of the

natural cycle of an ecosystem I mean why

I mean uh earthworm droppings are part

of the natural cycle of an earthor I

mean they take in organic matter and

excrete waste which enriches the soil

with their nutrients yeah but we're

talking mounds of this stuff Mounds yeah

big ones and lots of them well that is

unusual and that is interesting and

these piles were found near a dead body

not too far from you a dead

body you got to take me there

now is is

incredible what do you mean there are at

least 700 lb of worm castings in this

area it will take over a million worms

to make this same amount of castings so

what does that

mean that would be fine if it was spread

out in one acre of soil but to have this

much in this small area is is remarkable

do you mean a lot of worms made this it

looks that way but judging by the size

it's much larger than normal do larger

particles mean larger worms doctor

exactly what are you talking about this

is ridiculous large worms it's nuts

doctor do you think these worms have

something to do with the jogger's

death I don't know for sure I got to

take a sample this to see if the

micronutrients match up with Earth One

castings

found in the victim's mouths as well I

that Professor well we did the study at

the college we found out that the

castings were also radioactive

particles this doesn't look good no

biological cycles of the wildlife in

this area if it's existed for a long

time it could do some damage uh okay so

uh where did this come from the Madison

nuclear power

plant could but that's over 10 Mi away

from

here I don't know but I'll need to check

the groundwater as well

this is contaminated with radiation as

well what is that thing it's a n syation

detector it uses a spectroscope to

determine radiation effects could this

be the reason why uh we've had so much

decrease in populations of wildlife in

this area could be how much of a

decrease are we talking here

50% during the last two years of our

study we found a significant decrease of

populations in our survey wow what kind

of animals were affected mammals birds

amphibians

reptiles and even insects them too is

this the reason that the population of

organisms has declined over the

years yes over the over the last two

years my team discovered that 50% were

lost and we don't know why that's

significant

I think we got to go back to the

professor something definitely is going

where it came from well I

at the Madison nuclear power plant 5

years ago well I was fired because I

complained about an accident they had at

the

plant an accident what happened you see

every 6 years spent fuel rods are

transferred from the reactor to the s FP

area oh here comes our beer

good thanks SFP what's that SP F rods

it's like a large pool where radioactive

material is stored to cool off so to

speak otherwise the heat they would give

off would spread radiation everywhere uh

I say how long do these rods have to

stay there 12 to 18

months well you have to p

200 fuel assemblies into the pool using

a large

crane we never had a problem storing

them all these years until an accident

happened on March 12th 5 years ago what

happened well we were transporting the

assembly into the pool the cran cable

snaap and the fuel rods crashed into the

bottom of the pool it hit the housing

pretty hard at first we were lucky that

the nuclear Isotopes were still in their

containers it looked like it held up

on even though the force of the assembly

struck beside of the concrete housing it

just Struck it pretty hard

hey it looked like it held up

okay but a few days later I noticed that

the water level of the pool started

going down

significantly so did the pool have a

leak a small one but enough to cause

concern did they repair

anything just the Trane not the

leak that train was old and to my

knowledge the cable was never

replaced it just

snapped that's all and I guess nothing

lasts forever did they have to do any

repair They just added water to the pool

every time the level went down so why do

you think they did this to save money

what do you

think those bastards are destroying the

environment I tried to get him to fix it

I even went to the

CEO he said he would fix it but it never

happened they kept stalling when I

threatened to go to the nuclear

Regulatory Commission they forced me to

take my pension early and if I said

anything they would take that away too

cancer probably after working in the

plant for 20 years I got contaminated it
