Previously, on Ren.

What's happening?

Something that's not happened in a long time.

You glowed! You're in Namari now.

All the people you know will think you're evil.

Dangerous. You get out of my house! I don't take kindly to my men being

Take him to the keep.

He'll hang its son down.

He won't go away.

Will you, Ren?

Father? It's for the best.

The Knath protect us.

They'll draw out the evil spirit.

No.

Thank you for your commitment to loyalty and justice.

You did the right thing.

Wait.

I don't want this.

Is he going to give us any trouble?

Not anymore.

Good people of Lingar.

I am here to inform you that evil is lurking in your quiet village.

And as the eye of justice and the mouth of truth, we are here once again

to root it out and keep you safe.

Since the time of the last north king, we, the Canath, have kept you safe and

protected you from the marked ones.

Those who would use underly magic to corrupt and enslave you.

Yours is a province I have seldom visited. Perhaps this is why you have

the marked one to live a month.

What do you want?

I want to kill him. Who?

Your prisoner.

He betrayed my sister.

Look, leave him to the commander, lad. But how do I know he won't escape?

Come over here.

See that door?

Try kicking it in. Go on.

See? Solid.

Now, the only way from down there is through that door.

And the only way through there is with these.

He's not going anywhere, lad.

Thank you.

Just doing me job.

Now get out. Go on.

This girl is accused of bringing underly magic to your village.

If you wish to speak for her, do so now.

Inform the master.

What?

Are you helping me or not?

If I give you these keys, do you promise to help my sister?

I was trying to when your father turned up.

Swear by Nirith? I swear.

By Nirith?

By Nirith.

And Nadia.

Yeah, and Nadia.

Okay.

Oh, by Nadia, if you want... Yep, as usual. Come on.

Hang on.

Haven't I got more balls?

No. As soon as I start doing well, you accuse me of cheating. No, you can't,

Adon. I had two there. I had two bloody there. Who's winning? Worst.

The

twin

gods, Nerith and Ardaeth, branded the Mark once to protect us.

Here, in this creature's face, you see the Mark.

Mark of evil.

Mark that can bring ruin upon us all.

Just like Lord Montfort and the Mari Rai did so many years ago.

The evil that must once again be purged.

What are you doing? Get back here.

But you said you'd help her. I can't.

What do you mean you can't? Listen.

In the hands of the Master, there's nothing we can do.

But you promised you'd help her. You swore.

I'm sorry.

But I saved your life.

What are you doing?

You said you could get the spirit out.

The spirit will be released when it no longer has a host.
