=Bloom in Turmoil=

=Episode 20=

I don't accept this.

You went out alone and acted on your own, why don't you accept this?

You can hit me or scold me,

but you can't show favoritism.

Where exactly am I worse than Shijiu?

I don't accept losing to Shijiu.

So that's what you're upset about.

What's wrong? Shijiu is just more talented than you.

Danruo, are you sure you're complimenting me?

I'm going all out for everyone's safety.

Master, you're back.

Everything's fine?

How's the new dance?

Going well.

Good.

Come on.

Let's go.

Yunhe.

This place is dangerous. You can't stay here.

Shiqi, do you trust me?

Yes, but I don't trust this Bloom Master.

I checked the targets of her recent assassinations.

They're all loyal ministers to the emperor.

She is part of Lord Huai'en's faction.

Give this list to Danruo.

She'll help you save those ministers.

Trust me. I have a way to escape.

Yunhe.

Yunhe.

Leave!

Yunhe.

Yunhe.

I'm here.

Master wants to see you.

Perfect, I also need to see Master.

Then wait for her in her room.

Cuihua and Hongxing...

One of them is exceptionally talented, while the other is just average.

So I sent them back.

Yunhe.

Fanghua.

You don't need to be formal with me. Come, sit down.

Yunhe, ever since you saw through my affections for Lord Huai'en last time,

I've always treated you like my real sister.

What Danruo wrote in her letter about Lord Huai'en using us to seize the throne,

is it true?

Every word is true.

We have done so much for him.

I misjudged him and implicated you all at Bloom Pavilion.

Don't blame yourself. This isn't your fault.

It was Lord Huai'en who intentionally used you.

What are you doing?

This is the Shiquan Tonic.

It requires the blood of a living person as the catalyst to be effective.

You were injured by Lord Huai'en because I misjudged him.

I implicated everyone at Bloom Pavilion, especially you.

This is what I owe you.

Fanghua, I'd do anything for you.

I heard you found evidence to exonerate the Lu family.

Exactly.

Then where is it?

No rush. The medicine works best when drunk hot.

Yunhe.

I'll drink it.

Bandage your finger then.

Xu Jing, as a court official, you wave the banner of appealing for the people,

yet secretly accept bribes and exploit the people's wealth,

driving innocent women to death. You deserve death.

Stop!

Danruo.

Come in.

Danruo, who are they?

This...

General Shiqi, save the emperor!

Yunhe.

Where are Lu Shiqi and Old General Lu?

Lord Huai'en is now under house arrest.

He has lost the emperor's trust.

This is the best chance to clear your Lu family's name.

Yunhe, what are you doing?

Do you remember the original intention when founding Bloom Lane?

Of course.

To eliminate evil and promote good, eradicate the world's wickedness,

and uphold justice to good people.

Then, have you acted according to that original intention?

Yunhe, what do you mean?

Fanghua.

Do you know why I took the place of Lady Zhaoyang,

and married Lu Shiqi? It was only because I wanted to tear him limb from limb.

Lu Shiqi deserves death.

Yes.

Lu Shiqi forged the evidence of the Lu family

colluding with the enemy and embezzling funds.

He certainly deserves death.

But this matter is known only to Lord Huai'en and Lu Shiqi.

You mean

you knew all along that the evidence I gave you was fake.

Not only that.

The corrupt officials Bloom Lane recently assassinated,

were they all truly evil people?

You investigated me?

General Shiqi.

Since your disappearance,

we haven't seen the emperor for over a month.

What?

Didn't the emperor imprison Lord Huai'en?

Lord Huai'en imprisoned the emperor, claiming His Majesty was gravely ill.

Then, as the emperor's uncle, he began to rule.

Impossible! The intel I received stated...

We've all been deceived by the lies from Lord Huai'en and Bloom Master.

This list names utterly corrupt officials.

Nonsense!

These were all loyal to the emperor.

They were assassinated solely for disagreeing with Lord Huai'en politically.

It was you! You villains!

Lord Xu, they were also being used.

Now you should believe me.

Lord Huai'en and Bloom Master are merely using you as their blades.

General Shiqi, could the emperor be...

No.

If the emperor had passed, Lord Huai'en would've proclaimed himself emperor.

Since he seeks the throne, yet still keeps the emperor alive,

what exactly is he after?

No. Yunhe is in danger.

General!

Fanghua.

Lord Huai'en is a traitor who persecutes the loyal.

Why are you still deluded, aiding the tyrant?

Even if Lord Huai'en is a tyrant,

he's still better than the young, naive emperor.

Why does every one of Bloom Pavilion suffer ill fates?

Why do corrupt officials run rampant?

Why has your Lu family been buried under injustice, unable to clear names?

All because of this chaotic world.

The young emperor is too ignorant and gullible.

Since he cannot protect the nation,

as one of the royal, Lord Huai'en

has the ambition to create a peaceful era and bring prosperity to the people.

Why shouldn't he do it?

Your so-called peaceful era

is built upon the corpses of countless people.

No pain, no gain.

Helping Lord Huai'en is helping myself,

and helping all the suffering people in this world.

Fanghua.

You are betraying your own principles.

How will you face

everyone of Bloom Lane?

When everything is settled,

the world is peaceful and the nation prosperous,

then you will understand me.

Fanghua.

Turn back. It's not too late yet.

But it's too late for you.

Yunhe.

You're beautiful and smart.

Not only does the Lord fancy you, I genuinely like you too.

Yet you still...

Yet you still underestimated me.

You poisoned the incense?

Yunhe, don't worry.

Just obey and take the antidote on time, you'll be fine.

But if you resist, expect excruciating pain.

Without taking any antidote in seven days, your body will rot, and you'll die.

Do you intend to use me to curry favor with the Lord?

Exactly.

I had Danqing lure you into this trap.

But I won't let you see the Lord.

Bloom Master, what are you afraid of?

Afraid I'll steal the Lord from you?

Or afraid you don't trust the sincerity of your beloved Lord towards you?

Save your tricks.

The Lord and I love each other.

If he becomes emperor, I will be his empress.

Master, Bloom Pavilion is surrounded by soldiers.

It seems Lu Shiqi has walked right into the trap.

Master, it's Lord Huai'en's private troops.

What?

Hold the gate!

(Bloom Pavilion) Let no one escape.

- Yes! - Yes!

I'll go save Yunhe.

I'll go save Yunhe. You two stay outside for backup.

Remember,

do not reveal yourselves easily.

Yes, General.

Hurry! Go over there!

Get up here! Hurry!

My Lord. My Lord, this is...

Fanghua, what I despise most is betrayal.

My Lord, I didn't...

I am absolutely loyal to you, My Lord.

Really? Then where is Lu Xinnian?

She...

I told you to tell me immediately once you find Lu Xinnian.

Why keep it secret?

My Lord, you wanted Yunhe merely to lure out Lu Shiqi.

I can capture Lu Shiqi for you without Yunhe.

Since when

did you feel you could make decisions for me?

My Lord.

Lu Xinnian?
