[BLEND FEELINGS Episode 19]

Is there some kind of misunderstanding?

The Gu family is truly toxic.

Every one of them is a jerk.

That's him, right?

Xiangxiang, let's not wait anymore.

[Alarm]

Okay.

One thing though.

The third floor bedroom is off-limits.

Uncle Jingshi

has someone he never got over.

She's a famous cellist.

Compared to her, you're nothing.

This is Lin Yu's room.

So,

Gu Jingshi has been waiting for her to return all this time.

Then what does our relationship even mean?

Did you see the trending topics last night?

The one about Lin Yu returning?

Of course I did.

I heard she's Chairman Gu's ex-girlfriend.

Tell me more.

A few years ago, our company held a New Year gala.

We invited Lin Yu

to perform live.

Suddenly, a crazy fan rushed forward

and tried to hug Lin Yu on stage.

It was Chairman Gu who stepped in to help

and had security remove that fan.

Wow, saving the damsel in distress!

Later, I heard she went to Africa

and disappeared without a trace.

Yesterday, Chairman Gu was proposing to Jian Xiangxiang,

but as soon as he heard Lin Yu was back, he ran off.

I actually think Jian Xiangxiang's nice.

Yes, I think so too.

When it comes to love, being nice means nothing.

Mr. Wang.

Didn't you say gossiping is forbidden during work hours?

This gossip is just too juicy.

[President's Office]

Miss Jian, Chairman Gu has a guest.

Please wait outside for now.

Alright.

I can wait.

You must be Miss Jian?

I've heard so much about you.

While I was away,

thank you for taking care of Jingshi.

You owe me an explanation.

Wait for me in the car.

Okay.

I need to know why.

I don't want to be dumped without an explanation.

The contract is over.

This check is your compensation.

Gao Yi.

Transfer the money to her card.

Miss Jian.

No need.

I can see myself out, thank you.

Don't believe what he said.

Why panic? The boss definitely cares about you.

This used to be your favorite food.

Try it. See if it tastes right.

This is just right!

I've missed it so much.

Let's come to the night market

every day from now on, okay?

Gu Jingshi.

I know you never got over her.

But you've been apart for so long.

Are you sure there's still love between you?

What are you trying to say?

I'm saying what's lost or never had

will feel more precious

with time,

but that doesn't mean it's love.

You said our contract is over.

Yes.

I know.

We started with a contract.

But...

Did you fall in love with me after?

I could feel it.

So...

Could you not

make such a hasty decision?

Miss Jian.

I'm sorry my return has hurt you.

But I can't lose Jingshi either.

Watch out!

Jingshi, are you okay?

Are you alright?

Let's go to the hospital.

Miss Jian, please leave immediately.

Stop bothering Jingshi from now on!

You just risked everything to save me.

Instincts don't lie, Gu Jingshi!

Even if it was a stranger,

I would have instinctively saved her too.

But that doesn't mean anything.

I've already said everything I needed to say.

Please don't disturb us anymore.

You...

You really don't want me anymore?

Let's go.

The contract is over.

This check is your compensation.

You just risked everything to save me!

Instincts don't lie.
