[To Love]

Do you think that I don't have proof of the things that you did 6 years ago?

Let me tell you now.

I have a recording.

You, sue me?

Then I'll release everything you and your brother did

and it won't be just you who will drown,

but also your murderer of a brother!

How much do you want this time?

¥100,000.

It's not much. But you must get it to me tomorrow.

Otherwise, I'll come back and it might not be night time when I do.

Boss, good news. Good news.

[Agricultural Bank of China Bank Card Transaction Details] [Wang Li]

[Bank of China Bank Card Transaction Details] [Yan Shen]

[Other: 60,000.00]

[Interbank Remittance: -60,000.00]

Boss. Yan Jin went to the bank first thing in the morning to withdraw cash.

I don't know what he's up to.

Understood.

Go and tell Yan Jin off when we get back. To not be so capricious.

Picking out a wedding dress is up to the bride anyway.

Even if he came, he'd just be standing at the side. It's okay that he couldn't come.

Your mouth is just stubborn.

You won't say it even if you're unhappy. If this keeps on,

Yan Jin will become spoiled by you.

You think everyone is like Brother Feng? Accompanying you and serving you every day?

This, I am pretty satisfied with.

In my eyes, no one can compare with Old Feng.

Hey. Did Yan Jin say where he was going?

He said it was for business. I didn't really ask.

Do you think he's secretly preparing for the wedding?

To give you a surprise?

¥100,000. It's not much.

But I must get it tomorrow.

Otherwise, I'll come back and it might not be night time when I do.

Welcome.

Thank You.

You flatter me. Miss Ji, are there any specific styles you're interested in?

They're all so pretty.

Our Mrs. Yan is typically a tomboy.

She doesn't understand wedding dresses.

You should explain it for her.

Let Xiao'ou take a look herself.

Do you think this one would suit me?

You have to try it on to see whether it suits you or not.

This way please.

No it's okay. I want to wait until the baby is born

for us to get married.

I'll pick one out then.

Mr. Yan told me specifically for you to pick one out today.

You don't have to be polite.

Then try it on.

Then I'll go try this one on?

Ms. Fang, you have great taste.

This is our newest model.

- Mr. Feng, drink some water. - Thank you.

Hello?

- Hey Yan Jin. - Hey Old Feng. How's it going?

Xiao'ou is trying on her wedding dress right now.

She's not super happy that you're not here with us today.

It's okay. I'll make it up to her later.

- Did something happen at the restaurant? - No, no.

- I had some personal business to take care of. - Alright. Then I'll let you go take care of that.

Okay.

Is it too tight?

It's perfect. This wedding dress suits specific body shapes,

just like yours. Only a great body shape like yours could wear it.

Brother Feng, what do you think?

It's beautiful.

I still can't decide.

You can try on some more.

Take some pictures for Mr. Yan to see before you make your decision.

Sounds good.

Niya, you're too beautiful.

You can't even tell that you're pregnant.

I can still fit into this dress, which means

that I can still manage my weight pretty well, huh?

Of course. You're so pretty.

Old Feng, you're so lucky.

How is it?

It's great.

How about this, once the baby is born, there'll be more styles to choose from.

If you like it, then get it. It's Boss Yan's money anyways, it'd be a waste not to spend it.

We always wanted to wear wedding dresses together.

Today, our dreams finally came true.

Old Feng is right. Once the baby is born,

there'll be more styles available to choose from.

- Then, I'll be way prettier than you. - Hey.

You've already got it on. We have to get a picture, don't we?

Brother Feng, take a picture for us.

Oh, sure.

Okay. One more.

Look over here.

Xiao'ou. My body feels a little uncomfortable wearing this.

I'm going to go change back into my own clothes.

Take it slow.

Brother Feng, send me the pictures, okay?

Sure.

- Where is he?- He just entered.

Let's go.

Hello Sir.

Is there any other people in the room?

There's a woman in there.

Boss Yan is so generous.

You gave us a little extra on the side.

I heard your son can't really move his legs.

You can use the extra money to buy a wheelchair for him.

Thanks.

If you need money in the future, call me instead.

I'll be leaving now.

Wait.

Can you sell your recording to me?

No wonder Boss Yan's attitude today was so good.

It's because you're concerned about the recording I have.

Give me a price. However high.

This recording, you can forget about it.

I will never give it to you.

I was hoping to use that recording against you two for life.

It's a debt

that you can never pay back.

Thanks a lot.

Boss, are we still following him?

No, it's fine.

I've got all the answers I need.

Bye bye.

Hey Xiao'ou. It's about lunchtime,

should we all go eat lunch somewhere?

You two can go. I have work to do at the cafe.

Didn't you say your water pipes are blocked?

I'll go take a look at them.

That's okay. I've already notified the plumber. You guys head back.

Niya must be tired too. She should get some rest.

Okay then. Call if you need anything.

- Okay. Bye. - Bye.

Xiao'ou's wedding dress show today

was really pretty right?

You were pretty too.

Then...who's prettier?

You two have different auras. Both pretty in your own ways.

This isn't something a future hot mom would say.

You've known Xiao'ou all these years,

why didn't you ever pursue her?

What kind of a question is that?

Xiao'ou is like a sister to me.

I'm a younger sister to you too.

Zhan Yu was Xiao'ou's brother, but he still had a crush on her.

What do you want to eat?

Whatever.

Boss.

- Did you match it with our database?- Yes.

He should have appeared at the scene.

- So there's no problem at all? - No.

Then how come it took so long to investigate?

The day before yesterday when I went to Archives, Zhao Tinghui had already taken the file.

I only got the materials today.

How come you're here?

Here, this is what your sister-in-law wanted me to bring to you.

Says it's a vitamin C boost.

You won't get a cold if you drink it.

Thank her for me.

Isn't it about time for you to get off work?

I'll take you to dinner. Let's go.

I'm not going. I have so much work to do.

Your work will never be finished. But meals

have to be eaten at the right time.

It's rare that I'm not with my wife tonight,

let's go. After we finish eating, I'll take you someplace fun.

I'm really not going, okay? Get out of here.

- Let's go. - What are you doing? I'm really not going.

- Let's go. - I'm not going.

Grab your purse.

What? Mung bean?

How do they have this here?

I brought you here because I knew they sold your favorite flavor.

Then couldn't you just have bought it for me to eat? Instead of making me work out until I'm half-dead.

I wanted to bring you to get some exercise too.

Sure. I know you care about me.

You worked too hard recently helping me with my case.

I've been wanting to take you out to relax a little.

I just didn't have time until now.

Let me tell you. If you keep smiling like this,

- the line of guys wanting to marry you will be super long. - Shut up.

I remember you loved smiling when you were a kid.

Women who have been lawyers for a long time will eventually become hard-hearted.

No, it's not that.

You've always been hard-hearted.

What are you talking about?

No wonder Boss Yan's attitude today was so good.

It's because you're concerned about the recording I have.

Give me a price. However high.

This recording, you can forget about it. I will never give it to you.

I'm planning to put this recording against you two for life.

This debt

You can never pay is off.

The voice in this recording

is Zhang Guoqiang's wife Wang Li.

I went through all the transactions in Wang Li's bank account from these last 6 years.

Every month

she'd have 30 to 50 thousand yuan come in.

And Yan Jin's sister Yan Shen

would have the same amount leaving her account at the same time.

Which means that during this 6 year period,

Yan Shen and Wang Li have been exchanging funds.

This money is just to shut Wang Li up,

to stop her from spilling about Zhang Guoqiang being bought off.

From the recording,

it seems like Yan Jin knows about this now.

I remember when you were 10,

you broke our dad's favorite antique.

Blamed that one on me too,

which I got a beating for.

And when you were in second grade, I saw you and Old Cheng secretly holding hands.

I lectured you,

and you took the opportunity to get revenge on me.

You poured water down my ear while I put my head down on the table to rest.

I'm still afraid to swim.

And that time in high school,

You don't like it when someone bullies someone, you have to drag me into the fight,

in order to preserve your dignity,

In the end I got 5 stitches on my forehead.

You hold onto past grievances too much.

You aren't ashamed to laugh?

You're that happy to bully me?

Yeah. I'm happy.

It's too bad you have a wife now, I can't bully you anymore.

Says who?

Until the seas run dry and the rocks crumble,

I'm still your older brother. You can bully me however you want.

That's what I get for owing you.

What owing? Aren't we both doing fine right now?

As long as you're safe and our family is complete, that's enough.

Let me try your popsicle.

This one is good too. Go buy one for me.

There's no more. These were the last two.

Why are you so stingy?

Okay, okay. I'll go look again.

Maybe I can find one.

I looked over again the trial record from 6 years ago.

There was one detail that pushed me to.

Zhang Guoqiang's cloth shoe

was found 30-40 meters west from Yan Jin.

But the first time he was interrogated by the police,

he clearly said that he ran east.

But then in court, he changed his story.

Said that he ran west.

Someone who worked on that farm every day,

how could they mix up directions like that?

There's only one reason why Zhang Guoqiang could have said the wrong direction.

He was never at the crime scene in the first place.

But why then would that shoe show up there?

What I want to say next, you probably already know.

You guys were brothers,

you probably know better than I do what Yan Jin, Shen Wuyue,

and Sun Jiayu's entangled relationship was.

A month after Shen Wuyue passed, Sun Jiayu was killed.

Based on what you know about Yan Jin,

would he, on that day of encirclement,

because of emotional entanglement, shoot and kill Sun Jiayu?

Actually, the brotherhood between the three of you was something to be admired.

It's too bad that it dispersed 6 years ago.

That's all I had to say. The rest is up to you.

I trust that this case, in your hands,

The truth will come out.

What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?

No.

You're getting more and more pregnant,

if there's nothing big happening, don't come to the cafe.

Go home and take care of yourself.

I am a little tired. I'll head back now then.

- I'll call a cab for you. - That's okay.

Thank you.

Take care.

This happened to be on my way,

I came because I thought of your hand brewed coffee.

What do you want to drink?

Please wait.

and four lattes to-go.

Business seems to be pretty good these days.

It's so-so.

If I'm not mistaken,

your cafe has been open for 5 years now, right?

Time really passes like flowing thoughts.

The flavor is the same though, still so good.

How's the case going?

It's going very smoothly.

If nothing goes wrong, then we should have the results soon.

Don't put me in a bad spot, okay?

You know that we're bound to confidentiality,

I can't tell you anything.

Okay.

Xiao'ou. Is there nothing we can talk about between us besides the case?

My wedding is set for June 6th.

Your to-go order is ready.

Drink it while it's hot. Don't let it get cold.

Alright. I won't bother you anymore today.

But once I'm less busy, I'll come back.

Hello?

You busy?

It's okay. Is something up?

I have some good news to share with you. Come out for some coffee?

Go out?

It won't take up too much of your time. I have to tell you in person.

How about this? If you don't mind, come to my office and drink some instant coffee.

See you in a bit.

- Captain. - Enter.

Don't delay.

Long time no see, Zhou Bin.

Looks like our instant coffee isn't good enough.

I'm in a good mood today,

so we must have an exquisite afternoon tea.

It's just a shame that your office environment is so bad.

Drink, it's my treat.

Please eat, Captain Cheng.

Your favorite, tiramisu.

Thank you.

So it's true, everything seems better when you're in a good mood.

One sip of coffee, and your messy office

looks a lot better.

What good news did you want to share with me?

My adoption application was approved.

Now I can go to the orphanage to bring a child home.

I'm going to be a mom.

It was approved this quickly?

I told you it wasn't as complicated as you thought.

I am 30 years old, no children.

I'm preparing to leave my job temporarily,

focus on being a good mother.

I'm telling you such a big thing, how come you have no reaction to it?

You and your bitter face.

Did you do something wrong and was lectured by your wife?

When are you planning on telling your family?

This kind of stuff, better to ask forgiveness than permission.

I'm planning on directly bringing the child to the house. Hey,

with my personality,

should I raise a boy or a girl?

I have to come up with a good name for the child.

Do you know any of those, good at naming kids, masters?

Go and ask your Zhou Shuang to help me too.

What exactly is it?

Did something happen within the squad?

You were cold with Zhou Bin too.

No, everyone's just been extremely tired lately.

I saw your latest show.

Nowadays, there are a lot of lawyers who will play foul to win their case.

You're going to be a mom soon.

Don't take those risks. You have to take responsibility for yourself.

More importantly, you have to take responsibility for your kids' sake.

Of course I know you wouldn't do such things.

You sit.

We'll follow this plan. Tell everyone to stay safe.

Yes, Captain.

Hello?

Why did you leave?

I wanted to take you out to lunch to celebrate.

The law firm had something important come up.

Another day.

Alright. Drive safe.

Thanks.

No matter what they say, a house needs a woman.

Just a quick clean, and it feels like a home.

I think you should put a big plant here.

Sure. Whatever you say is fine, as long as you're happy.

Here, sit and rest for a minute.

I'll go cut some fruit for you.

[Zhao Tinghui: Are you busy?]

[The team said they really liked your coffee, they want to buy a couple more cups.]

[Are you at the cafe now?]

[The team said your coffee tastes great, I want buy a few more.][Are you at your cafe?]

[I'm not right now.]

[Zhao Tinghui: Then I'll go another day.]

It's ready.

Strawberries too?

- Try it. Is it sweet? - So sweet. - I'll have a mango.

You're allergic to mango. Have a dragonfruit.

Drink.

How is it? Better?

Old Feng, let's get our marriage certificate tomorrow.

Get our marriage certificate? Sure.

But getting a marriage certificate is a big event.

Should we pick a good date?

It's okay, I'm not superstitious. Let's just do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow? I can't do tomorrow.

I have to go to the pier tomorrow to get inventory.

And then once I get back to the restaurant, I have to manage tasks.

It'll be afternoon before I'm done.

Besides, getting our marriage certificate is a big thing,

shouldn't we do some preparation for it?

I'll go pour some hot water for you to soak your feet.

You've been standing all day.
