because he was an ally.

He was somebody that I wanted
to work with, so,

so much about this game
that can really

cause you to go into a spiral

of negativity,

of aggression, of shame.

And our thoughts are
like the waves

that come rippling

When I start meditating,

my ocean of thought is

sort of like a churning

and there's waves crashing.

And through this awareness,
my breathing--

it then calms down

and it starts
to become more tranquil.

It doesn't really matter what
my problems are in the moment.

It's just about
accepting the beauty of it all.

that it's gonna be okay,

to approach relationships

with a much better attitude.

One at a time,
you'll leap into the water,

make your way
through a series of obstacles,

collecting bags of coconuts
along the way.

Once you have
all your coconuts to shore,

a different tribe member

will empty those bags

to find four keys.

Then another tribe member will
use those keys to unlock

a box and release
a grappling hook.

Then the last tribe member

will use that grappling hook

to retrieve a set of sandbags.

You will all then work together
to land those sandbags

on five very small targets.

The first--

and only the first tribe
to finish--

wins immunity.

-Oh.

And I really feel like

I think it's so weird.

But here's the thing.

joking brings some levity to it.

But regardless, what, if any,

residual impact

is there from coming
to Tribal so often?

Because we know the part of it
that can bond you.

But it's also the wear and tear.

Sometimes,
it can eat into a group.

OZZY:
Oh, for sure, but if you

play the right game
with the right people,

it's a golden opportunity,
because you learn

when to trust
and when not to trust.

And I'll be honest.
I was

blindsided last Tribal.

And, you know,

I feel like I had
a little temper tantrum.

You know, I wanted
to get my feelings out,

and I wanted to be honest.

Just being left out of a vote
sometimes can

feel like you're being
sent out of the game.

So, at the end of the day,

I was in the moment, and I hope
these guys understand that.

So Angelina, this sounds like
it was pretty public.

Yeah, I mean, it was-it was
right at our campfire.

And Ozzy kind of made, like,
an angry campfire,

I'd say, which I appreciated.
It was very warm,

but it was, like,
growing with his temperature.

But, you know,
his reaction was

direct, it was honest,

that is positive

you really are forced
to try to find the people

that you can trust in this game.

your gut does kick in,
and you tell yourself, "Okay,

I'm going."

with your life,

then it's super hard
to make it to the end.

on David vs. Goliath
came down to three people.

And those very same three people
were the final three

of that season.

And so, although

voting is horrible,

it bonds us in a way
that we can't even understand

I was just gonna
check in and say hello.

It's all your first time here

for most of you, but Jonathan,
Charlie is right into it.

-Game is on.
-JONATHAN: Well, Mr. Jeff,

for the ones that
haven't been to Tribal yet,

you don't really know who is who

until pen hits parchment.

I mean, we got a bunch
of legends sitting here.

We got people that did
all sorts of stuff,

so we don't know
what's gonna happen.

We've all kind of been
waiting to see

-who does what.
-PROBST: Charlie, is there

a little bit of excitement
that this is

the part of the game
where you get to prove

what kind of game you got?

Yes.

And no.

It's exciting because,

for a lot of the people here,

hopefully, including me,

this is the start to our rest
of... to the rest of our game.

That's exciting.

But these are a bunch
of veteran liars.

And that's...

that's super scary.

PROBST:
Devens, one thing to consider.

Rizo-- nobody knows his game,

because the way
Survivoris shot,

we shot season 49,
and then we shot season 50.

So he's an unknown quantity
other than what he shares.

RICK:
Yeah, absolutely. You know,

all I saw of Rizo was "RizGod!"

Uh, and then you meet him,
and he's, like,

wise beyond his years,
and he's a total peer.

And I've been
really impressed with him,

and he's-he's hard not to love.
Yeah.

PROBST:
So, Rizo, walk me through
the pros and cons

of being a player that nobody
actually knows a lot about.

So, Jeff, if I take you into

the SurvivorRolodex of history,

the players that have come
back-to-back, historically,

do really, really well.

You talk about Malcolm,
Amanda Kimmel, Russell Hantz.

They always come back
and do really well.

But who wants to play
with an unknown player?

So I told them how I played 49.

I played a loyal game,
and I played with people

that I brought
to the end together.

So why not use me as a number,

not only tonight,
but for the rest of this game?

PROBST:
Kamilla, you got to admire

the bravado of Rizo,
who comes out here and says,

"Look, I know
you don't know my game.

"I'm telling you
I told the truth.

-And I'm also telling you,
I belong."
-Yeah.

And I think there's
something interesting

about wanting to prove yourself.

That's the perfect way to play,

because if your torch gets
snuffed, you'll have no regrets.

But we don't know
what happened on 49,

so I feel like
Rizo is kind of a question mark.

PROBST:
Devens, what's one thing

that Rizo doesn't understand

because he hasn't seen
his season play?

RICK:
I think one
really valuable thing is

you see how other people
react to you.

You might have
spent months thinking

your Academy Award performance
was just awesome,

and you're sitting
on screen going,

"Give me
the Golden Globe, baby."

But meanwhile, the rest
of your tribe's going,

"He really tried to do that?

Like, he really thought
we bought that?"

And that's a valuable thing
that you don't get

till months after you play
the game, sometimes.

PROBST:
Rizo, would it be diminishing
your approach

to the game if I said,

"You got nothing to lose"?

Like you said,
you didn't even know

you were gonna be on 49
that long ago,

and now here you are on 50, so,

you're just playing
with house money.

You know, Jeff,
I came to Survivor,

not only to play one time,
but twice, to prove

that I got what it takes
to be out here.

So if I go home because I tried
to play the game,

so be it. Like, you ask me,
am I playing with house money?

Hell yeah,
I'm playing with house money.

I hope that house money
keeps me around

tonight, 'cause I got a lot
more money to play with.

PROBST:
Charlie, do you see

any of yourself in Rizo?

Yeah.

I think Rizo played and

thinks about the way he played
probably the way all of us did.

And this might be biting,

but we're the hero
of our own stories.

Because going through the game
in your own head,

rather than watching yourself
play Survivor

and getting
to see all the other stories--

it colors things differently.
