tried to kill her. They didn't want her

getting out and telling anyone. I

suspected the BCI executives are

orchestrating a covert bioweapons

research division.

According to the town's legends, Ketzu

blew powerful winds upon their crops,

fertilizing them as well as their garden

of sacred roses. But eventually their

deity died. Their gardens withered away.

That is until the arrival of a Spanish

concistador whom the people of Rosa and

Burma venerated as the reincarnation of

their god. He died in the 1500s and

again the rose gardens withered.

So if their god is dead, what are the

people celebrating?

>> A resurrection of sorts.

>> And the snake analyzed by Rebecca.

>> Rebecca called it a corzoa.

She noted its distinct black venom and

its extremely rapid heart rate. Local

folk tales elude that those bitten by

the corzoa would rise again after death,

having gained a new sense, the ability

to detect heat signatures.

One organism's warmth outshown all

others, that of their guard.

It's been said that they could hear his

every hiss, and that those most devoted

were attuned with his heartbeat,

their own hearts swelling with his love.

classify, it is best understood as a

parasite population absorbed the genetic

info needed to process heatbased signals

from the goroa. Offspring of the pest

are deposited into the venom glands,

its venom. But if this poor Zoa species

was never truly documented by science,

how could Rebecca know about this

parasite's evolution? It's a theory

cooperated by one crucial connection.

This parasite shares an ancestor with

something we've seen firsthand. Remember

those hosts grew? practically giants.

The legends of a massive serpent, its

warmth detectable only to those bitten.

What if that heat signature belongs to a

colossal corzoa underground? A king

snake, if you will.

This is some connection Rebecca's cooked

up.
