So you want me to bring back your missing wife and daughter?

Right.

Oh, I've been worried sick...

I feel like my heart might give out at any moment...

I'm not exactly in the business of retrieving people.

Ah, you see... It's embarrassing to admit, but...

Quite a few of my assets... seem to have vanished along with them.

I need them back. Whatever that may take.

Very well, then.

Wherever your treasure may be, the phantom thief Fade...

will be there to win it back.

Their stomachs growling after an all-nighter, our Galactic Federation Police forensics duo...

are on a planetside shopping run.

I woulda been fine with just some energy bars...

Girl, you need to go outside once in a while.

The way you're going, Kiki, you'll have flimsy muscles and frail bones when you're older,

and a breeze'll knock you over.

See. What did I say?

Oh, the paaain!

I'm so sorry! Are you badly injured?

Oh, don't mind her!

Don't worry, she's just dramatic.

Come on, Kiki!

You hungry?

She was hungry, all right!

Here, Emu. Drink something, too.

Thanks for the food.

Let's go, Mom.

Wh... You're leaving already?

We have to get to the Planet Papius consulate.

The Planet Papius consulate?

Just planning a little trip to my home planet, is all.

We can't thank you enough for the food.

Wait up! Let us escort you!

Huh?!

Koto, hang on!

EPISODE 6: ENTER FADE, THE PHANTOM THIEF

So why are we going out of our way?

If it's really a "little trip home", why not just head straight to the space station?

Going out of their way to the consulate...

I get the feeling we don't know the full story.

I see... That makes so much sense, Koto!

Kanky sure seems to have taken a shine to Emu!

I've found you at last.

I've arrived to escort you lovely ladies.

Gah! Ouch!

Man, that hurts!

Mom!

My, oh my.

A feisty target, I see.

Who's that?

It's Fade, the famous gentleman thief!

A thief?!

Why would a famous thief be after those two?!

Ah!

Stop right there, thief! Freeze!

You're not half bad.

You noticed? Fallen for me already, have you?

Oh my!

He's got an Emorgear with him!

Sohype!

Hang on, hang on! What the heck is this?!

How am I supposed to get down from here?!

Meanwhile, Reiji's team, having just completed a mission on exolayer Earth Epsilon 2709,

has detected a positive Emorgy pulse from Earth Iota 5109.

Don't see a positive wave that strong every day.

Earth Iota... Isn't that where we met those two?

Y'know, from forensics?

We could always pop by!

Oh? Shall we, then?

Sure.

Right. D-Jump!

That's far enough, Mr. Thief!

Are you police, perchance?

What do you want with those two?

Is it misinformation that you only go for things with monetary value?

How is it you can use an Emorgear?!

I see listening's not your forte.

I see.

You have the power to stretch objects at will.

My Emorgear extraction device. Neat toy, eh?

To answer your question, I've been hired to retrieve these ladies.

A mother and daughter who fled into the night...

with a little something extra in tow.

These are the treasures I've been asked to recover.

I won't go back! I won't!

What?

We're never going back to that house, to that man who hurts my mom!

We finally got out of there...

Don't try to stop us!

Emu... Emu!

It's not safe to go any closer!

Emu!

Kiki! What's happening?!

An Emorgear?

So she had an Emorgear, and now it's out of control.

Now I see why Kanky was so restless.

Kanky, charge!

Electroplate!

Joy, activate!

Space Sheriff Gavan Luminous.

Koto, look after her mom.

Right!

"Electroplate". With this command, the Gavan System is initialized.

So, let's take another look at the electroplating process.

As soon as the command is given, stored Emorgy is made to go critical...

Kanky, charge!

reacting with the supply of vaporized Gavarion within the Trigger.

Electroplate!

It takes a single millisecond for this vapor to deposit into a solid, plating the user in a combat suit.

Joy, activate!

Ughwhy...

Emotional Burst!

Space Sheriff Gavan.

Emu!

Emu, listen to me! That thing you're holding is dangerous!

No!

Emu!

Emu!

No...

I hate all of you! Just stay away from me!

Oof!

It's...!

Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity.

On a trans-dimensional business trip.

Fill me in?

Okay, so, the daughter...

Where is she now?

Emu!

Even I can't stretch that far.

Wait right here, ma'am. I'll go save her!

Stupid!

You know there's no way you can do that on your own!

But, Koto! You want to help her, too, right?

You want to make her smile, right?

Smile?

I know!

We've got just the thing to pull that space bus out of the gorge!

AGI!

Hiya!

I took the liberty of putting a combining/ transforming mechanism on a nearby crane.

AGI, you work fast!

Duh, Chief. That's how you programmed me.

Wooow!

Seriously? You can just do that?

A Crane Unit... Right out of my wildest dreams!

- Take 'er for a spin, girls! - Huh?

I'll take care of the Emons!

Supreme Commander. We have a berserk Emorgear on exolayer Earth Iota 5109.

Requesting use of assault formation for a civilian rescue.

Granted.

As you wish.

Assault formation authorized!

GBolder GC-R, activate!

Hope I'm not intruding!

Oooh! We have the same control systems, huh?!

Well, actually, we're in the middle of...

Huuuuuuuh?!

Oof!

Can I take over?

Of course. Pleasure to be working with you!

- Kiki! - Right!

Let's do this.

Emu...

Emu? Emu!

Emu, I'm getting you out of here.

Is that... the police girl?

Don't move, 'kay?

Just be patient for a bit.

No good! Pull out!

One more time!

But the weight of the robot might collapse the cliff from under her!

Emu! Emu...!

I know! If we can't go down there... We just have to fish her up!

Let's do this, Koto!

Been a while, hasn't it, Kiki?

Equip Crane Unit!

Olrite &C, activate!

Here goes!

Gah...

Bit more to the right! Tilt the arm 45 degrees!

- Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic... - Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic...

- Don't panic... Don't panic... Don't panic... - Don't panic, don't panic...

Don't panic, don't panic... Don't panic, don't panic...

I can't stand a lack of manners.

Gavarion Drill.

Gavarion Drill!

Kiki, now's your chance!

Right!

Come on come on come on come on come on...

Come ooooon!

Come on!

Got it!

Man. These two are somethin' else!

You're a major gavibe!

We did it, Kiki!

Right, Koto!

- Emu! - Mom...

I'm so glad you're safe!

I'm so thankful...

Fragile thing. It'll need repairs again.

How about you come with me to answer a few questions?

You're not laying a finger on these two!

I'm sure the guy paying you is some real big shot...

but you're not getting past the Galactic Federation Police this time.

Actually, I've given up on the lovely ladies.

I've got what I was really after.

When did he...?

You can keep this, though.

Space Sheriff Gavan.

Till the day we meet again.

I'll be looking forward to it.

So he ran away, huh?

I'm sorry. He took the chest.

I'm sure it was important.

No...

It's just stuff I took from my dad's safe, anyways.

After taking shelter at the consulate, she planned on selling it to fund our escape...

But none of that matters, as long as you're safe and sound!

For the time being, you can count on us to keep you safe.

We'll have you make a statement, then drop you right off at the consulate.

I...

never thought anyone besides Mom would ever have my back.

Thank you.

Doki, wasn't it?

We really appreciate your help!

You two make a mean fishing duo.

That was some divine work, if I do say so myself.

Back in high school, Koto and I were obsessed with crane games.

I'm practically an expert!

- Maybe you could teach me someday. - You bet!

Looking forward to spending more time with a fellow Emorgear lover!

Yeah!

Ouch!

Kiki, we're leaving.

We've gotta analyze that Emorgear, open a file on Fade... So much to do!

What's gotten into you?

Just FYI, Kiki has a partner. And it's me.

Don't get it twisted, okay?!

We're leaving!

Why do you sound so mad?

Wha... This?

Wait, hold on, what does this mean?!

Hey!

I asked you to bring back my wife and daughter.

I left it in your hands.

Yes, my deepest apologies.

If you'd like, I can try again tomorrow.

But for now... I went through a great deal to retrieve what's important.

Nah, it's fine! I'll ring you up if I ever need you again!

Welcome home!

Yes...

Huh?

I feel like it looks... duller than usual.

Well, it is cloudy tonight.

It must not be catching the moonlight.

Huh?

Your treasure is

graciously accepted

What's that?

Thank you for waiting!

Thank you so much.

Here.

Incidentally, if you could look over here?

What's that?

A spaceship!

An anonymous gift to them, apparently.

An anonymous gift?

But why?

And also... who could...?

Huh?! Waiter? Where'd he go?!

It's perfect!

All's well that ends well, Koto.

Are you sure...?

Well... Guess so.

Thank you.

I guess you're right.

I graciously accept this... The greatest treasure in the world.

Comet trails of emotion

Streaking above, they kinda feel like a promise

Astronomical odds aside, time to save the world

I say true strength isn't all physical

And it nods, that secret star

Right past infinity with imagination

Future's on standby! Gavibe! Bye-bye-bye

Love is the strongest! Give into its beauty now

Transcend your scars, transcend this whole earthly plane!

Stopping malice dead in its tracks

Shake it! Take it!

Your life time!

Love is the strongest! Resolve times infinity

might be what blows this whole case wide open!

Let these words ring out through the whole galaxy:

"Love always prevails"

Without doubt, never wavering!

Too much for him to handle, was it?
