hey guys it's dmoney Bala today we're

going to be looking at this Acer Aspire

it's the 13th gen I5 version it's got a

13400 it's on Amazon right now I picked

it up for around

$450 it only has 8 gigs of RAM however

so we're going to be expanding the RAM

and putting a GPU flipping the PC over

on the back you see you've got your two

HDMI ports your USB as there's a screw

in one of these holes it's going to need

to come out so you can take this side

panel off to add more RAM you just use a

Phillips on it

comes right out then you slide this

out then you've got access to the inside

of the computer um our Ram stick's going

to go there and our GPU is going to go

there our nbme driv is underneath that

so we've got our 8 gig stick of ram um

the ram speed on this computer is 3200

MHz so just make sure that you either

get um a stick that's 3200 MHz or just

be okay with the slower Ram speed um and

so this will make us have 16 gigs you

want to line this up so that it gets in

there and in there and then you just um

pop that one Tab out on the top this tab

goes out you line it up make sure that

the notch is going to go into the right

place and

then you hear that click and it's

installed Okay so we've got these two

our GPU is a two slot GPU so you want to

take out these top two um slots you

going to make sure that that falls back

you push these out um just wiggle these

in and

out and then they they'll break

off just want to make sure that you can

do

that so that your GPU has some air to

breathe so the GPU we're going to be

using is an Intel Arc A380 it's a

sparkle brand elf so it's a little

Sparkle elf

a cute little blue card it doesn't need

any uh Power other than the power that

it gets to the pcie slot so there's no

six pin power or eight pin it just gets

all this power through these pins um

it's

got three display ports and one HDMI

port so you can do a lot of displays or

you can do gaming or video editing with

it and that's what we're going to be

putting in the Acer so coming back to

the Acer you're going to flip this tab

down and then that's going to flip in

when you push your card in all the way

and hold it in so you're going to flip

that down it's just a little tiny

graphics card you want to line up the

slot and uh make sure that it goes in

there and you push this down here you

can put a screw in there if you want or

you can just close this up so this is a

little bit Loosey Goosey you can put a

screw here or there if you want I'm just

going to put the side panel back on and

uh that'll hold that down so we just

follow it along you click that in and

you can put your screw back in to your

side

panel and

we have done an upgrade now that we've

got the GPU all of the display is going

to come through there so these HDMI

ports aren't going to work unless you

configure those in the bios so just make

sure you put your HDMI into the card or

your display ports into the car thank
