The heck, man!
This lava's crazy!
The playing field is unforgiving.
You got it!
We got it!
The face plants are epic!
And now, once more, 80,000
gallons of hot-tempered lava stand
between three teams of courageous
daredevils and the exit.
Three teams are gonna have to try and
get across this study.
Now, in my study,
I have to stay alert because my
daughter's toys are all over the floor.
In this study,
teams are gonna have to stay alert
because of something equally dangerous,
the floor.
Because it's made of lava.
Oh, well, that was a big one.
Hello, welcome to Floor is Lava.
The study is a deceptive mix of
familiar furniture and adventure
supplies,
but you shouldn't get too comfortable
because these obstacles are tough.
There are many paths from the entrance
to the exit.
For example,
if you prefer an old-school fluorescent
approach,
you can take the route along the padded
leech to the sofa.
If you can reach the antler chandelier,
you may be able to swing to the Epic
Africa desk,
a great place to regroup and plan next
steps.
Or,
here's a way across if you have the upper
body strength.
You may prefer to climb the wall
fixtures to reach the unstable canoe
hanging from the ceiling.
Getting on the canoe is shaky and
getting across takes epic endurance.
Or, if you're truly fearless,
you can try the treacherous track where
you launch yourself from the globe to
the dangling cargo net and dock down on
the Africa desk.
Once on the desk,
you'll have to work together to
navigate the final shaky canoe that
gets you within scary jumping distance
of the exit.
There are other paths to ponder as
well,
and two hidden mechanisms that make the
room easier, if you can find them.
The avenues are limitless,
but you'll have to work fast because
the exit stairs continuously descend
until they're gone,
making your exit increasingly
difficult.
The first team to soar through this
study is a trio of cheeky co-workers
who combine high altitude with the
right attitude.
It's the flight attendants.
We are flight attendants.
We met in the air and then we all
bonded on layovers.
We have a saying,
what happens on the layover stays on
the layover because all of us have had
very special moments where, well,
we can't talk about that anymore.
True story.
True story.
I'm also a qualified cursor,
which is the lead flight attendant on
international flights.
So I tend to get really bossy.
My secret strength is that nobody
expects me to be as tough as I am.
I ended up competing twice for the
World Championship in Taekwondo and
won.
I go by chocolate,
but my name is Erin and I do drag for
charity events.
Well,
it started off as only doing drag for
charity events.
And then I realized that I really like
making people laugh,
and I really like being in front of an
audience.
When we win the $10,000,
we'd like to donate that money to the
foundation that we all love,
the Wings Foundation.
It assists flight attendants in
critical need, be it from injury,
accident, or catastrophic event.
What the hell?
What the hell?
Let's do this!
Whoa,
somebody's had her caffeine today.
There are going to be some delays to
get caffeine.
Hello, flight attendants.
This is your captain speaking.
Touch, push,
and pull whatever you think can help
during your voyage.
Your destination is the exit.
Get there as fast as you can as the
exit stairs slowly descend until they
are gone.
And finally,
do not touch the floor because the
floor is want me to do that?
I think you can do that.
You go first.
Michelle,
attempting the wall of sconces.
Can you reach that, though?
Maybe I should do that, actually.
Yeah, I'm telling you, dude.
You can do that.
All right.
You're 6'5 ⁇ .
I'm not 6'5 ⁇ .
I'm barely.
You can get that.
You can get that.
Six foot-tall chiclet using what his
mama gave him.
Okay, so what am I doing, actually?
Well,
use the legs for your feet and untie
that rope.
Yeah, chiclet.
This is.
Shotgun, you got that.
You got that, baby.
Come on.
Yeah.
Being the hero.
What the hell does this do?
I told you.
Now come.
I don't know what that is.
That is a helpful bridge to get to the
exit.
The cargo net opens a path to the
Africa desk.
The net also offers the possibility to
bypass the desk and transition directly
onto the second canoe for a passage to
the exit.
Okay, now, what am I doing?
Am I just going to go all the way
across?
Over to the big couch.
You're okay.
Hang on, baby.
Hang on.
Got it, chicky baby.
You really got it.
You got that.
All right.
What do I do now?
What do I do now?
Lots of options for chiclet not falling
into the lava rates pretty high.
Get on the drawers.
There you go.
Now open up the drawers.
The ones open up some drawers.
What did you lose?
What am I looking for?
Open up the drawers.
Chiclet going against his flight
attendant instincts and opening those
tray tables.
Okay, yeah, that's all fun and games.
What are we doing?
Hang tight, Michael.
Hang tight, baby.
Hang tight onto what?
He can monkey around with those bars
inside that canoe and give it a go.
No, monkey.
Nope, monkey bar over.
Oh, no.
No, you know what?
Come on, monkey bars.
Michelle,
you gotta get on that small one.
I feel like I'm on an island.
Michelle,
jump on that chair and then jump on the
smaller.
Get on the chair and get on the big
chair.
Okay.
You're a couch jumper anyway.
Go.
Michelle, at 51 years old,
still hopping across furniture like a
teenager.
I feel like I should go back that way.
Come back, come back.
Hold me, Dad.
He's going.
Thanks.
Come back and go the route we're going.
Can somebody call the captain?
Jump on the table.
A childhood scream.
Just hunt.
But don't.
Just jump on it and stay on it.
I got you.
I got you.
Just jump.
No.
Stay on it.
Oh, Lord have mercy.
All right.
Jocelyn,
the pillows are not flotation devices.
Chicken, just pull goes.
Go back.
We can do this.
Michelle, just jump.
Okay.
Go.
There you go.
Layover on couch number two.
Jocelyn following the trail blazed by
Michelle.
Michelle,
can you jump onto the desk from there?
No.
How if you jump by some.
Yeah, I'm actually supposed to,
it looks like use that and catapult my
job to the desk.
Was that slippery?
No, that's good.
The ladies are making excellent
progress.
Their estimated time of arrival is
soon.
You know what?
I'm going back.
Y'all are killing me over here.
He's going back?
Now my feet are slippery.
Ties are determined by the time,
and this move will definitely add time
to their run.
You got it, girl.
We got to get over to the chickle.
He is not enjoying climbing that wall
again.
No, no, no.
Come on, Chiclet.
You got that.
All right, baby.
Jocelyn assuming a three-point stance
as she prepares for this jump to the
table.
Ow?
All right.
Okay.
Woo!
Jocelyn flings her 5-2 body at that
couch like it's a 48-hour layover on
the Hawaiian Islands.
Aloha!
Somebody get her a leg.
Come on, Chicklett, you got that.
All right, baby.
Chicklett taking an absolute eternity
to get off that wall.
It could affect their chances if
there's a tie.
We got to get over there to them.
Michelle facing a dicey six-foot leap.
Can she make that distance?
Ready?
And it's a net game.
I'm here, babysit.
All right.
That a girl.
Keep going.
One at a time.
One at a time.
One at a time.
Chiclet,
now on the same path as his co-workers.
No one likes pillows.
Well, I like the pillows.
You know who loves pillows?
People on airplanes.
Michelle.
I got this.
Oh, you're a little busy.
To the table.
To the table, to the small chair.
Have you seen the size of my body?
It cannot fit on that table.
Michelle's climbing towards the canoe.
Isn't bothering with the desk.
Oh, wow.
She's going to transition directly from
the cargo net to the canoe.
She's on the monkey bars.
Go, Michelle, go.
Oh, no.
Her foot is caught in the net.
Oh, Michelle broke free.
Go, Michelle, go.
Michelle's secret strength was no most.
You find it.
Hold on, Michelle, go.
And she's been moving so swiftly.
Those exit stairs are still in their
full, upright, and locked position.
Let it go!
All right, all right.
And Michelle crosses the exit and her
team is on the board.
But she doesn't stop to celebrate.
No, she gets to cranking.
Her early arrival means she can now
speed up her team by lowering the canoe
for them to have a quicker exit.
Okay, come on, Chicla.
You got that, baby.
A lot, a couch, potato.
Do it.
We're not.
All right, baby.
Come on.
Get to the bigger.
You got it.
Kicky fast.
Don't even think about it.
You got this.
Stop it.
Chiclet is taking a lot of time that he
doesn't have because time is running
out and those exit stairs won't be
there for much longer.
Bring it over, girl.
Let's get you in.
Come on, Josh, you got it.
One, two.
Don't think about it.
Look at the net.
Oh, Jocelyn made it.
You globe girl.
Now, how will she handle the cargo net?
There you go.
At the age of 54,
Jocelyn has the strength of ladies half
her age.
There you go.
Oh,
there's a little bit of a slip by Mozambique.
You got it.
The exit stairs are getting ready to
make their exit.
Jocelyn and Chiclet need to de-plane.
I think it was easier as monkey bark.
There he goes.
Straddle that baby.
Jocelyn choosing a horizontal approach
to crossing the canoe,
thereby removing the need for upper
body strength.
Jocelyn,
I'm looking at your butt again.
Right on.
I want to stop looking at your butt
again.
You never had my butt so much.
All right, girlfriend.
Jocelyn is on her final approach.
You get up here.
I got you, girl.
Those exit stairs are nearly gone.
Okay, two.
And Jocelyn is across the exit.
They've got two points.
Chickmen, come on, baby.
Now to get their last teammate across
the finish line.
I'm just going to go and grab it.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Grab it.
Step on it.
Just step up on it.
All right.
You got this.
Let's go.
It's a small stabbing step high.
Chicklets made it onto the table.
Come on.
Come on, girl.
Why are you standing so hard?
All right, get on this chair.
No.
Get on that.
Get on that couch.
Can you do that?
Can you do that?
I think I can hang from here.
Oh, God.
Queen, baby.
Now we two are.
Do not.
Let's go.
You got the chair.
Wait, young chair, what am I doing?
Come on.
Come on.
Do it on Africa.
Oh, my God.
Come on.
Oh, my God.
Land on the table.
220 pounds.
I should not be swinging from
chandeliers.
Come on, let's go, chickle.
Okay.
All right.
Moment of truth.
The exit stairs are in the hangar.
Will chiclet be left hanging?
Straddle that, baby.
Straddle it.
Sit on it.
Sit on it.
Sit on it.
Sit on it.
Sit on it.
Spit on it.
Get down.
Sit.
Sit down.
No.
Sit out a good idea.
Tune it over.
Tune it over.
Go down on your stomach.
Go down on your stomach.
Whoa, that was a close one.
Chicklett.
Yes.
Look at me.
I'm facing this way.
Have a time for me to look at you.
Hold on.
These unfiltered and selfless
co-workers are competing to donate
their winnings to charity.
So Chiclet has a lot riding on this
canoe.
You're almost there.
Reach around.
Reach around.
I swear to God, I'm going to slap you.
There you go, baby.
Great, reach around.
Woo!
Shut up.
You got them.
Okay.
Let's go get across.
Come on.
We got you.
We got you.
Okay.
You can step right there, Chiclet.
Shut up for a minute.
Bring it home.
How do you talk so much?
Chigla can see the landing strip.
He's on final approach.
Got this.
You've got this.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Ready?
Come on, baby.
Leave my face.
Come on, baby.
You've got this.
That final jump to the exit is four
feet over some very angry lava.
You're not going to catch me.
Don't act like you're going to win.
Just move out of that way.
He makes it.
Wow.
All three of them made it.
A surprising display of skill,
strength,
and sportsmanship from the flight
attendants.
Michelle glided like a gazelle across
the furniture to hurl her body with
reckless abandon onto the cargo net and
follow that up with a master's class in
monkey bars and canoe cranking.
Jocelyn called the shots,
led her team like a boss,
and went bottoms up into the exit.
And Chicklett surprised everyone,
including himself,
with his magnificent performance on a
chandelier and his shimmy to the exit.
I had an amazing leap and jump and I
loved those moments, but honestly,
these guys did an amazing job all the
way through.
I was really surprised.
I don't know how I did any of that
because it's totally out of my comfort
zone.
Very happy that everybody brought their
A game and stepped it up.
And Michelle, you did amazing.
Thank you.
Amazing things.
Thank you.
A strong start with that sterling
performance by the flight attendants
who earned a perfect score of three
points.
Now the only way to beat the flight
attendants is with a faster,
perfect run.
For our second team,
we have two sisters and their best
friend.
These three independent women call
themselves the Fierce Ladies on Fire.
It's just the two of us,
and we are about three and a half years
apart.
Three and three quarters.
Three and three quarters.
And then this is Annie,
who is our sister from The Other
Mister.
And we all worked in a restaurant
together.
That's how we met Annie.
Yeah, in my previous life,
I was a server and we worked together
for many years.
I would drop everything.
I would spill drinks on people.
We'd have to comp stuff.
It'd be terrible.
When we win, this $10,000, 100%,
we are going on our girls trip and we
are going to be laying out on a beach
with a drink in hand.
I think we deserve it.
We work constantly,
so much needed relaxation on a beach
somewhere.
No needs, nobody needs us for anything.
Enjoying.
Oh, golly, here we go.
Okay.
Hello, ladies.
Don't forget,
don't touch the floor because the floor
is...
No!
All right.
Do you want me to try to go for that?
I mean, I can try to stretch it.
The lights on the wall are seven feet
above the tallest foothold.
Sherry's only 5'8 ⁇ .
It could be a stretch for her.
That can help support you.
Annie?
No.
It's flippery.
No, it's flippery.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
Okay, one.
One.
And I'm not annoying.
Two.
Three.
Go, go, go, go.
Okay.
I'm up.
Okay.
I'm going.
No, you're good.
What's that rope right there?
What's that rope?
I'm going to untie her and see if
something happens.
Yeah.
She's released the rope,
which in turn unfurls the cargo net.
Nice work.
Okay, wait.
That went down, right?
That was hanging up before.
Now you...
Okay, okay.
That was good.
So do we continue to follow?
No, no, no, no.
Okay.
Reach.
Yeah, be careful.
Adjust your weight.
Should I just come over there, Sherry?
Oh, my bordy board.
Do you want to try to go this way?
Try to get on the bottom one.
Sherry desperately reaching for a
drawer to stand on.
Careful, careful, careful.
Adjust your weight.
Shibby, shibby, shibby.
There you go.
Yes!
That's a tremendous feat by Sherry.
Okay.
There you go.
Is anything moving?
I'm wondering if I should just go over
there and kind of help her.
Try.
Okay.
A lot of going to get me.
Get me.
Are these stable?
No.
Are these stable?
I'm going to keep working on this.
Not really.
Okay.
No.
Shauna going the sofa route.
Hold on to your butt.
I'm so scared.
I'm so sorry.
Okay.
Okay.
So far, so good.
Is that table in reach of you?
Okay.
Both sisters are on the course now
while Annie remains an only child at
the start line.
I'm scared.
Jump.
Oh, golly.
Okay.
Okay.
Care who's on a carry.
Get off my leg.
Go ahead.
Go away.
How do we get to this Africa?
The death right there.
There's all the vapors.
I have to try to get onto this.
Can you sit?
Can you sit?
Like, what's underneath it?
It's just a...
It's monkey bar.
Try it.
Swing.
Sherry's going to try and cross the
canoe from underneath.
This is going to take a lot of arm
strength.
Use the momentum.
Sherry scampered across the wall of
sconces much faster than Chicklett and
goes for the canoe,
which Chicklett didn't want to try.
You know what?
I'm going back.
This will give the fierce ladies a nice
time advantage if Sherry can pull it
off.
Go, Sherry!
Go, Sherry, go, Sherry!
And Sherry's on.
Just focus on the next one in front of
you.
Yes, Sherry, there you go.
Keep going, keep going.
Swing your legs.
Keep going.
Okay.
Swing your momentum.
Keep going.
There you go.
There you go.
Yes.
Okay, well, good,
but catching your ballot.
You're already building momentum.
You're already almost at that.
You're already almost at that.
Keep going.
There you go.
Still a long way to go.
There you go.
You're almost there.
You're almost there.
Kicking her legs may be good cardio,
but it's not a good strategy.
Push your legs out.
Oh, no.
Sherry, it's slippery here.
No, no, no, no, no.
You're almost there.
There you go.
There you go.
She is just one good swing away now
from that desk.
No!
Sherry!
She was almost there.
Oh, this fierce lady is on fire.
Shanna can only watch as her sister
Sherry is swallowed up by the
unforgiving lava,
which means a perfect score is out of
reach and their team is officially out
of the competition.
We put everything into this.
I really had it set in my mind that I
was not going in that lava.
I'm really let down.
I'm really sad.
I really wanted to win.
Of course,
I had a great time with my girls,
but I'm upset.
I'm a mad monkey.
With the fierce ladies fired,
the flight attendants' three points
keeps them firmly in the lead with only
one team left to compete.
And they need a perfect score in a
faster time to win.
Will the flight attendants be able to
hold on?
The last team to take on the study are
three soon-to-be-married cousins.
They each want their upcoming wedding
to be better than the others.
We're the total package.
So Devin, he's the brains of the bunch.
We got Guy, he's the wild card.
He can do a little bit of everything.
And then me, I'm the muscle.
I have the reflexes of Black Panther
Australia Wakanda.
I have the reflexes of a baby spider
monkey.
I got the reflexes of Superman if he
was black.
You know, you blink, I'm already gone.
See, I just came back.
You didn't even notice.
We always strategize to beat each other
and stuff.
We do, like,
we have a lot of game nights.
When we play Uno,
it's the most competitive thing that
goes on in our house.
I would skip him like five times just
so I can block him so he can't win.
And it's vice versa.
They'll do the same to me.
I love y'all and everything,
but I'm going to take that money that
we win,
and I'm going to have the best wedding
out of all y'all.
So I think I'm going to put my earnings
to getting boys to men and come to the
wedding.
I'm the person who likes to go all out,
you know.
So I might rent a giraffe for the day.
Just why not?
Rent a giraffe.
For my wedding,
we're going to get a big-ass yacht.
We're going to take it out on the
water.
A yacht, okay.
You know, so everybody can,
we're going to do it just as the sun is
setting.
I don't know if these guys know what
$10,000 gets these days,
but here they are.
Three fiancés with weddings to pay for.
Wow.
And this is functionality.
Goodness, yo.
Bro, there's canoes.
They got ropes.
It's a rhino.
A big rhino.
It's a rhino.
This is crazy.
Hello, gentlemen.
Your objective is to get as many of
your players through the exit as fast
as you can.
And the most important detail,
don't touch the floor because the floor
is okay.
Hey, I'm out.
I think there's something over here.
Man.
Yeah,
you might be all around the edges.
He is pretty high up there, though.
Take your time, bro.
Take your time.
Are you sure you can get there?
Yeah.
He might be the shortest choice to
climb the sconce wall,
but it's the wild card of the team.
Guy's taking on the challenge.
Hey, pretty solid.
Swing on to Africa.
Yeah, man.
I think he got this.
I did a rope right here.
Guy has found the rope that releases
the cargo net.
Hey, what's that do?
Oh, oh.
Down goes the net.
Now Team Total Package has options.
Man, this stuff is slippery as hell,
bro.
Guy trying to figure out a non-lethal
way to transition onto that chest of
drawers.
Oh, man.
Hey, check the drawers.
See if there's some money in there,
man.
You know we could use the money for the
wedding, you feel me?
Devin passing through a chess game
already in progress.
Will he be foiled by the Nimzo Indian
defense?
The chess piece is moving.
Nope.
Check and mate.
Yeah, this is solid.
It's solid.
Guy's open the drawers.
Now he can get to the hanging canoe.
And I have a feeling Guy is not going
to hesitate crossing those bars.
Devin clearing the chessboard.
Rook to Knight Lava.
He made it!
And yes, I am easily excited.
Devin's path might look smoother,
but those lava slick sofas are no walk
down the aisle.
Wait, you got it, Devin?
I don't like that.
I don't like that.
All right.
Guy not to be outdone by his cousin
Devin looking to conquer the canoe.
It's not easy.
Sherry from the Fierce Ladies on Fire
tried the monkey bars and failed.
All right.
Be careful.
You got it, G.
That grip strength.
That's that grip strength right there.
Just keep your balance, bro.
You got it.
This is the point where Sherry from the
Fierce Ladies met her in.
Will Guy have a more successful
outcome?
You got it.
Swing on over, my dude.
Swing, swing, swing.
Build momentum first.
Build your momentum.
Swing.
He's got it.
Nope.
No, he doesn't have it.
Swing.
Oh, so close.
Come on.
Guy made it.
Let's go.
Talking about right there.
TP ink.
That second attempt was almost a wrap.
Not enough momentum on the third.
A hefty push off Mauritania results in
a perfect landing on the Western
Sahara.
I gotta check my emails real quick.
Okay.
There's no time to check emails.
And speaking of time,
Bryson still hasn't moved any muscles
yet.
Cool tights, though.
Hey, yeah, don't jump,
because if you jump,
you're gonna slip and slide off.
All right.
Bryson,
you have to get in the game if you're
hoping to hire boys to men for your
wedding.
Hey, I can't lie.
I don't really feel good.
Like, my stomach ain't hurting,
so I figured they got this.
They got this,
and they'll let me know what's up.
Oh, whoa.
Okay.
I'm going this way.
Bryson finally deciding to join the
game.
No problem with the chess table.
Cousin Devin won that match.
Let's go.
He's locked in on the love seat.
Success!
Oh, his pups come on.
Bryson following Devin's path along the
couches, but he's got to hurry.
Those exit stairs were a boy band.
They'd be in syncing.
Hey, Jeffrey, what's up, Jeffrey?
Bryson adding time to their run by
chatting up the Yetian residents.
I didn't forget about that $5 you owe
me, Jeff.
The clock is still ticking, guys.
I know you owe me money, man.
I remember that.
Why is there a Yeti in Africa, though?
Simple answer, Pangea,
the supercompetent.
Oh, whoa.
How'd you get here, bro?
Huh?
How did you get here?
I told you, dude,
I got the reflexes of a black Superman.
All right.
All right.
Bryson, moving like a newborn foal,
testing his legs for the first time.
Or he's preparing his dance moves for
boys to men.
I honestly cannot tell.
All right.
You going to go for that one, Bryce?
Why not?
Go for it.
Go for it, bro.
I'll wait for you, bro.
You going for the moose head?
Why the chandelier?
Wiping his hands in preparation,
setting up for the jump,
preparing his mind,
or just plain stalling.
Yeah, but let me see if I can...
I don't know.
I don't know.
Let's see.
Yeah.
Any energy swings, bro?
All right, I do.
I'm going to jump at it and I'm going
to just grab on.
You want me to pull it all the way to
you?
Yeah, pull it over to me.
There you go.
There we go.
There's no room for error.
One misplaced foot, he's in the lava,
and his team will be out of the
competition.
Come on, you got this.
There you go.
There you go.
There you go.
Dead.
