If he reached for a gun, you hit him on the head with the barrel of a .45,

Wyatt Earp, as Marshal of Ellsworth,

Wichita and Dodge City,

followed this code to the letter,

often at the risk of his own life.

But young Bat Masterson,

his new Deputy Marshal, had a lot to learn.

Despite Wyatt's instructions,

Bat was apt to get excited or trigger-happy.

sparking dance hall girls and being a Deputy MarsHal...

They just don't mix.

to some fairy bell in a dance hall.
