And so what might seem

like a totally crazy
emotional response, I get it,

totally, from the outside looking in.

It's a lot when you're sitting right here.

- He's such a good guy.

He deserved, like, such a better...

Whoever said he's the heart

of this tribe, that is so true.

Like, I feel so guilty even thinking about

the game implications. Like,

"what does this mean for me?"

Like, what a crazy thing to say.

After Kyle's departure,
I was a bit emotional.

And that emotion really
just cleared my mind.

It made me start over.

We had an alliance of five,

but with Kyle missing,
we're down in numbers.

So we have Colby,
Stephenie, Genevieve.

We have myself. That's the core four.

But Colby don't have a vote.

And I sold my vote to get the supplies.

But I have a plan.

I now have to open up to
rizo about my loss of vote.

'Cause he has to replace
Kyle when it comes to voting.

Wow.

I think, coming into survivor 50,

I was really, really hyper.

And I think it rubbed people

the wrong way, so I
had to course correct.

And I think, in these last
four days, I've done a great job

shifting everyone's perception.

I might have started on the hot seat,

but I've slowly inched my way

to the top of this food chain on vat...

One of us gonna win the game.

I'm rock solid. This is
us till the wheels fall off.

We-we know... I believe that.

- And I appreciate it...

And it's very motivating for me

because it's like, "wow, I can turn"

We're at camp, and
Christian freezes like a statue,

and it looked as if he had
some type of spinal injury,

the way he was so erect and stiff.

I thought for sure, I was like,
"man, he threw his back out.

It happens."

But then he turns, and
he's wearing khakis.

I was like, "well",

"I don't think he sat in a puddle of water.

I don't think he sat in
a smashed banana."

And the way he was shuffling,

like my little one, when she was little,

when she would go to the toilet...

I'm sorry.

I think he...

I think he's gonna need
a new pair of underwear.

So, there are many
elements of being human.

Laughing, crying, cuddling a loved one,

but also the sheer and
utter embarrassment

of unexpected gastrointestinal distress.

Unless he sat in some
bubblegum before he left

and got his pants all wet.

That turtle head poked
out and sprayed everything.

Of all the things I thought could happen

on this show, I didn't expect

to have an unexpected evacuation.

It's a dark cloud, let's just say...

in my life, at the moment.

The details

of this prior experience
are for me and me alone.

This is not the first time that the bowels

have created problems for survivors.

And now, I have entered the pantheon,

the history of people

unexpectedly colored.

Sadly, yesterday, Kyle had to be pulled

you, knowing the sacrifice

that everybody makes to come out here?

Nobody wants to go home, ever.

Yeah, it's one thing to
get voted out of the game,

but to be pulled out
'cause of an injury, like,

they're so hard to prevent.

It's so early in the
game, too. It's not even

like a medevac later on in the game.

It's, like, our...

We've only done one
immunity challenge.

Ozzy, I'm sure you hear all the time,

all of you, have people ask you,

"yeah, but how real is it?"

I mean, Jeff, the first challenge that I did,

I thought I was gonna be medevacked.

After trying to get this key off a pole,

my back was toast. It was spasming.

I feel Kyle's pain.

It's so hard. It's so hard.

Coach, you were a part
of that fight for supplies.

Can you relate to what

ozzy's talking about in terms
of just difficulty out of the gate?

Yeah, it was a really difficult challenge.

I-I really want to get as
far in this game as possible

with just a shred of dignity.

And so I might blow my
game up for discussing this.

But I want to set the record
straight about the challenge.

There was a key. We
all fought hard for it.

At one point, ozzy said to q, "hey,

if it drops, I'm gonna let you have it."

In my mind, I said, "screw
that. It's every man for himself."

So, as soon as that
key dropped, I speared it,

and I pulled it out.

So I want everybody to know,
this is the same old coach

that you've always seen.

I'm playing this game with
as much honor as possible.

Coach, if I hadn't got that key off,

I don't really think, coach,

you were ever gonna get that key off.

But anyway, I just want
to set the record straight.

I'm playing this game
like I've always played it,

for 101 frigging days.

Yeah, I think he is playing the
game like he's always played it.

At least the last time I played it with him.

Wow.

There are so many ways
this game can get you.

Tribal council, evacuation,
reputation tarnished.

So let's get to today's
reward challenge, shall we?

All right, for today's
challenge, one at a time,

you're gonna leap off a platform,

smash a tile, releasing a key.

You'll then make your
way across a series

of balance beams and swim to the finish.

Once you have all three
keys, another player

will dive down to retrieve two rings.

Then the three remaining
tribe members will use the keys

to unlock a third ring.

Then it is a race to land three rings

on three targets.

First two tribes to finish win reward.

every single word that
I said was intentional.

Yesterday's adversary
is tomorrow's enemy.

From season one to season 49,

every player here had a
moment where they said,

"you know what? I'm gonna apply."

I feel like I'm sitting in the middle

of a bunch of lunatics.

This cast of characters
that are like a tangled web.

I can't tell who feels good with who.

And I feel like I'm trying
to solve a rubik's cube

when it comes to what's
going on in the vatu tribe.

That means something
is wrong with that coconut.

Agree.

- Really?

It should taste like coconut water,

not lemonade water.

I have a slightly
dysfunctional relationship

with survivor.

I mean, it's just,
survivor'sexhausting, right?

I really do love this game,

but it's still hard sometimes.

It's hard because you have

to manage your energy expenditure,

and that's not something
I've ever been good at.

In kaoh rong, I didn't do that very well,

and it led to me kind of crashing out.

I am aware that I am
just in this real weird spot.

But this time, I've learned
not to completely lose it,

'cause survivor changes on a dime.

There's been something that seems

so strange to me, and I'm just

a suspicious gal by nature.

What I think I notice is

aubry being a little more
precious with her bag.

I start to think, if I found

a boomerang idol on day four,

maybe other tribes have
found it, which means

someone could have
an idol on my beach

without me ever being able to see

that they were looking for an idol.

And so, I am convinced
aubry has a boomerang idol,

and that it's probably
in her bag right now.

The idol is a circle,
and it's about the width

of your pinky, so a circle like that,

with beads in the middle and a
string and beads hanging down.

She's dangerous, too.

Our concern that aubry
has a boomerang idol

or some sort of advantage
came to a fever pitch.

It is.

You want to go through it real quick?

Now, if someone goes through
your bag outside of survivor,

that just breaks every
rule of decency there is.

But all bets are off when
you come in survivor.

What I'll do is,

when she starts to come
back up, I'll just say, "let's go."

Okay, okay.

And you would know if
somebody come back up.

- So just do it?
- Yeah, do it. I'll watch.

My job in the bag search
was be the lookout.

I'm the guy, when the police arrive,

I got to notify everybody. "Woo-woo!"

But it wasn't just me.

We had Colby looking down the trail.

Do you think if I leave

We had Stephenie on the
beach having a conversation.

Aubry did not know what was happening.

This was at the top.

This was right underneath it.

We had Genevieve dumping things out.

And she's an attorney.

Genevieve's gonna find that thing.

I feel so bad. I'm so sorry, aubry.

You feel like a dirty, rotten

criminal when you're going

through someone's bag in survivor.

It's very invasive.

I love the fact that
we get to do this in Fiji.

What a blessing it is.

And on top of me having a great time,

I'm making my tribe think that

I'm a one-dimensional player. But

this time, I'm playing a little different.

These people think I'm
the most loyal person,

and I don't really think that
much about what's going on.

I go fishing.

But I'm like a duck on top of the water.

My feet are kicking.

There's a warmth to coach.

That's why everybody's drawn to him.

And he loves adventure.

And he likes seeing how
far he can push himself.

He doesn't have to go out with me,

but he decides to go
spearfishing with me.

And within minutes, he
just lays there like this.

He got a massive
cramp, and I was nervous.

I thought for sure that we
were gonna be in trouble.

But thank god survivor has
safety swimmers around

just in case somebody's
in trouble in the water.

So, they pull him up on the boat,

and they bring him back in.

Yeah, dude. A... massive
cramp in both legs.

I cramped up so bad out there, man.

Poor coach. He, like...
He goes out to, like...

show he's got the stuff with Jonathan,

and then, within minutes,
both his calves are,

like, horribly cramping, and
he has to be, like, rescued.

Aah. We got to get
you some water, man.

I'm gonna drink, like, five coconuts.

Get that potassium in there.

He must have been

lying, like, in the water, like,
completely, like, helpless,

like a-like bug in a pool.

Coming out here, you always wonder

in your psyche if you're gonna be

good enough to play this game...

physically, mentally, spiritually.

And I thought, "I'm
physically ready to rock this."

don't get too full of yourself.

I got to be cool and
not overextend myself.

I like everybody on this tribe,

but we're an absolute mess.

I mean, coach is old, and,
like, kind of dismantled,

and then you got Chrissy.

It's innately in her to be a mom.

And she's trying a little bit too hard

to mother too much to this tribe.

And I'm not saying that
Chrissy's a bad person,

but she can be a little too much.

Charlie, if you want to start on the floor,

but instead of five lanes,

I think we should do four double wide.

You know what I mean?

I like Chrissy. I'm a sucker
for a number one alliance

with an older woman.

That's my bread and butter.

But you can't always play the same way.

Even if I like Chrissy,
other people on the tribe

are getting a little miffed

about some of the stuff that she's doing.

My game was very loyal last time.

And, you know,

I do want to play a really
loyal game this time.

I think the trouble is

I haven't found, like, my people yet.

and integrity, which is

not that fun, especially
when you get strategic,

work around his principles.

each other grace. Like,

I'm gonna see two people

But Joe wants to play his way,

and we all have to play
around him, and it sucks, man,

especially on season 50.

It's boring, and it's
restricting, and all of us are

coming out here to play unleashed.

- Joe management is very hard.

is there a world where we just

totally leave him out of the vote,

and then come back to camp
and say, "we did that for you,

we didn't want to put you in a position"?

But then he's gonna want
to know what the plan is.

- So what would we do?

For someone so code-oriented,

you got to be careful
how you handle Joe.

What we could have is a Joe schedule.

Like, a rotation. A Joe-tation.

And enough people talk to him.

It's not like we're, like, babysitting.

It's just, like, making sure that, like,

"hey, well, how are you thinking?"

It always could go sideways,
one of us could get sniped.

Before today, Joe was on nobody's radar.

But after today, it's very clear

that you can't just play with him.

He has set his boundaries,
and he is okay with that.

between Joe and

you know, some risk and reward,

What do I do?

There's lots of possibilities here.

I could gift this idol to someone else

who could help me in the long run

to help ensure that they make a swap

or a merge where I'm there.

Have to be someone I trust,

or someone who
thinks they can trust me.

I also have a more diabolical plan.

It also could be a way to
Mark them, or take them out

so it boomerangs back to me.

Wouldn't it be funny if Angelina got it?

But who's most likely to keep it quiet?

keep it to themselves

and see it as a sign

that someone really
wants to work with them?

It's tough.

But I think I know what to do.

As I'm going through
my bag this afternoon,

"You cannot give it to anyone else.

It feels amazing to have

a mystery person in

along a winding snake track.

win immunity, safe from the vote.

absolutely devastating.

Luckily, I have my extra
vote, and I do have my idol.

I think I can get myself through this vote.

I am not gonna be the third person

going home on season 50.

It's gonna be really difficult

going to the second tribal council tonight.

A lot more difficult than
going to the first because

the first tribal, there was
a consensus for Jenna.

But right now, our options are aplenty.

There's ozzy, who was
always the front-runner,

but Savannah's becoming
a bigger possibility.

And then there's Joe. Like,

pretty obvious that Joe and I aren't

in a terrific place right now.

Okay, so if I had to guess,

I think Christian
probably wants Savannah.

Right.

I think devens probably wants Joe.

And then I think I prefer ozzy.

- Yes?
- So I think it's up to you.

Ozzy is my number
one ally, so when I hear

they want to go for ozzy, I'm like, "no.

That is not what I want or
need at this point in the game."

The pro about ozzy is
that his social game sucks.

Yeah, I'm coming around to that.

- It really does suck.
- All right, so then there's Joe.

- He is the powerhouse in our challenges.
- Yeah.

But it's not really helping us

- 'cause we're still losing.
- We're still losing.

So now we gonna go to Savannah.-

I just don't want whatever she found

- on that island coming back to bite us.
- Yeah.

I feel like that's the biggest thing.

- I think I'm sold on Savannah.
- All right, perfect.

I just kind of suggest,
"yeah, I mean, ozzy's a threat,

"but these are the reasons
Savannah's a threat.

What do you guys think?"

She has whatever it is
she got at exile island.

So that makes Savannah the
most threatening of the three.

That's a good point. I
should have thought of that.

We can get Savannah,
flush whatever she has,

and she can take it with
her when she leaves.

Dude, I would love that.

All I do is provide you

with the information for
you to compare the two,

and then you come up with your decision

that may be my decision.

I'm just hoping that

I've done enough to save ozzy tonight.

So, let me tell you what I did,

because at first, they
was talking about you.

Yeah.

So I said, "well, let's run down
the pros and the cons, right?"

And everybody moved to Savannah.

Cirie's absolutely magic at strategy.

I am at the strategy game.

And if I can't be magic
like Cirie, I want her

to really trust that I am her number one.

I got to keep my girl safe,

That almost brought me to tears.

I have played five seasons
of survivor, and I've never

officially had my own advantage.

But I do now, thanks to ozzy.

This couldn't have worked
out any better for me.

The other day I go to talk

- to Rick by the watering well.
- Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

He turned to you and
whispered. What was that about?

If you want the details,
me and ozzy were talking

about a possible four with
you, me, Rick and himself.

I was like, "do you want to tell Joe"

"about the foursome?" And he was like,

"I don't know if now is the right time."

- You do see how that's weird as hell.
- Absolutely.

And I told him the same thing.

I'm like, "why wouldn't you
just tell him at the water well?

It's, like, it not a bad thing."

I hear you.

I have some PTSD from
Kyle and kamilla on my season.

So, I am bringing in
baggage, is the point,

that I have scars from being lied to.

Yesterday at the well,

it was obvious you were
trying to catch me in something.

- And, like, that's fine.
- There's no such thing

as catch you in something that's just...

When you ask someone directly,

you're hoping for the
truth, which I didn't get.

So I went to Savannah

to once again put the truth out there.

Why would you not tell me
about the alliance? I'm in it.

I didn't think I was the appropriate one

to approach you about it.

But I don't understand how it's bad.

I don't get it. If that's what it is,

- I don't get it.
- I wasn't... you saw me.

I froze. Like, it wasn't a
great survivor moment.

But I don't get... It doesn't make sense

if it's just an alliance talk.

I have not stopped loving
Joe as a human being.

I am over it with him as a game player.

You're a survivor player, bro.

We're allowed to lie and backstab.

Like, what are you doing?

This is like going out onto
the football field and being like,

"I'm a pacifist. I'm sorry.
I don't touch people."

It's, like, good luck for your
team trying to play with you.

And we're his damn team.

I've never played with
anyone like you before.

I've never played with anyone

who came to survivor
to be totally trustworthy.

And I didn't think I would want to.

And yet, I'm like, "dude,
this dude is so magnetic."

Do you know that trust is
all you have in this game?

Like...

Do you know that if you
want to bull... your way

to the top, though, bro,
just to defend my game

that you said you never wanted
to work with or can't work with,

- is that, now that I know that...
- No, I respect the...

What I'm saying... What
I'm saying is, bro, listen,

is that I'm just repeating
what you're telling me.

You're twisting my...

If you don't have any time
for me, that's one thing.

What are you talking
about? Time for you? It's, like,

all I'm trying to do is
build trust. That's my game.

I'm trying to be the bigger person,

and it's, like, emotional reaction is,

"devens is out."

But everyone's watching.

So then I think, "all right,
be the bigger person, Joe.

Let's get back to what we set out to do."

Who do we want to
vote out for the team?

And I'm gonna bite
my tongue and do that.

Who are you thinking tonight?

If there's one person that's
causing the most havoc

around camp, it's actually Joe.

He's kind of getting in
the way of everything.

Who knows how he's gonna vote?

He might vote Rick tonight.

And I cannot let that happen.

I don't know what your
relationship is like...

You're straight?

- Like, I won't lie to you.
- No, no, no, I know you won't.

I feel like my role is sort of like...

It's like a therapy carousel.

- Listen, -I'm a straight shooter.
- Yeah.

If I have a question, I'm gonna
say, "what happened here?"

That's just what I'm gonna do.

I remember that from your season.

Yeah.

So I'm just jumping on this little carousel.

It's a lot to keep track
of, keep everything calm.

So, hopefully, we make the right choice,

and nothing goes haywire.

I'm still just, like,

overwhelmed by how something like this

blew up the way it did.

How did it become so big?

Because I lied to him, I broke his trust.

Ooh. You lied on survivor?

Yeah.

Whoa.

I respect Joe, and I
like Joe, but I feel like

Joe could very easily be an adversary,

and I can't have that.

So I'm, like... clutching my pearls.

"He did what?"

This is exactly what I need

to knock the target
clean off of ozzy's back.

Yeah, I think at this point,

I can't work with him, which is a problem.

I know. I can't, either.

All of a sudden, we're suddenly looking,

thinking to ourselves,
"okay, in order to protect Rick,

are we gonna start going after Joe?"

I feel like the more conversations he has,

the more the group just seems
to be looking at Joe going,

"well, maybe we just vote out Joe."

This all blew up - over
nothing. Like, events.

Yeah.

And it's only day six.

Here's what I think is actually happening.

I think Cirie wants to protect ozzy

because I do think that
they're working together.

I think Cirie smells a
little blood in the water

and saw this as an
opportunity to protect her ally

and get out Joe.

She's very crafty.

I will say, Cirie is...

I don't know if she wants
Joe out because of the chaos

or because she wants to protect ozzy.

To me, Joe is an easy vote.

- Ozzy's a more interesting vote.
- Yeah.

In this game, you have to be

very conscious about
how other people operate.

I think Cirie is doing a lot
right now to protect ozzy,

and I think the two
of them may have had

an alliance from the very,
very beginning of this game.

I just don't want us to
be distracted by Cirie.

My preference, I think, would be ozzy.

The alliance isn't even
solidified on who they want,

not to mention the
other people in the tribe.

My honest preference is still... Ozzy.

This is getting complicated very quickly.

Typically, this is what happens as

we get closer to tribal council.

The panic starts to pick up.

And while I'm sitting
here going back and forth

to my head about do I want to vote ozzy,

do I want to vote Savannah,

Joe's over here just
slowly sinking his own ship.

It's really wild to sit here and try to, like,

map out all the different possibilities

about what could happen.

And that makes tonight's tribal council

incredibly chaotic.

And while that's really
fun, there's a scary side of it

that means literally
anybody could go home.

Do you think Savannah has an idol?

Do you think she found an idol here?

I think if anyone did, she did,

and she might have
gotten an advantage.

Like, I definitely wouldn't put it past her.

- Are you serious?
- I'm serious.

It is called the Billie
Eilish boomerang idol.

I have to give it to
someone on another tribe.

If they get voted out
with it in their pocket,

it comes back to me.

So I gave it to aubry.

Wow, dude.

Knowing that there are idols in the game

right now is incredible.

Like, idols are my thing.

So many of my moments
were around idols, real or fake.

And so, I want to
have some fun with this.

- I've had a wild idea.
- Yeah.

Absolutely. It was all in my shoe.

I want to hide a fake at tribal council.

And when we ever need
it, we'll just go up and get it

and act like we found a
clue in front of everybody.

- You're gonna be better with this than me.
- All right.

I'm gonna try to do it tonight -yeah.

As we leave tribal council.

Try to distract whoever's
there to not look at me.

My gosh, I'm having
so much fun out here,

thinking of just the craziest
ways I can blow the game up,

like, planting a fake idol at tribal,

and who knows what's next.

As we're going to tribal council,

still a lot of balls in the air.

For totally different reasons,
ozzy's a potential vote,

Savannah's a potential vote,

Joe's a potential vote. Plus,

Christian and I have our plan.

We know our roles.

This isocean's season 50,

and we are putting a heist together.

So, it's gonna be a wild night.

All right.

So, Joe, I know it's only day six.

This is only your second tribal council.

But it just feels like
the intensity of the game

is at a very different spot than it was

the first time you all came to tribal.

Yeah, Jeff, without a doubt.

And I do want to lead with this.

Unfortunately, myself and
Rick got into an argument

after a challenge,

and I take ownership in some of that.

We hashed it out, but that might have

affected the mood and
the vibe of the afternoon.

Okay, so devens, was
this a public conversation?

Yeah, I mean, I think the
intensity you picked up on

is-is there, and it's everywhere,

and that's part of what led to this conflict.

And it's funny 'cause, like, Joe and I

are very much alike in many ways,

like, physique and stubbornness.

- Very true. Very true.
- And today,

the physique didn't have
anything to do with it,

but the stubbornness did.

And Joe, do you worry
that having a big argument

could be enough for
people to go, "hey, man",

- we don't want this at camp"?
- Yeah, you hope

that doesn't turn into something larger.

But on the other hand, you look at it like

that we're in some of the most stressful,

unique environments, and
we're learning each other.

And that's why I try to own it.

And you move on. But,

yeah, anything can move the needle.

So, Cirie, what do you
do when you're in a season

that has the uncertainty
that this one does,

and you still have
uncertainty as a group?

You may know of each other,

but not everybody
here knows each other.

Basically, Jeff, with

this type of player and this speedy game

and season 50, the
only thing you can do is

listen to your gut that tells you

"trust this person,
don't trust this person."

And it's where the puzzle fits together

as this group moves forward.

Ozzy, Cirie says you
got to listen to your gut.

You've been blindsided before.

- Yeah.
- Your gut isn't always right,

especially if you're playing
with other great players.

Their job is to convince
you your gut is right.

Yeah, Jeff, the hardest
thing is just sifting through

the torrent of information and feelings

that are running through your
head at any given moment.

For example, today, in the challenge,

I got frustrated, and, you know, I kind of

raised my voice a little bit.

I think I made these guys nervous,

and I think coming in

with this level of uncertainty,
it creates a lot of anxiety.

You don't know what's
around the next bend.

You just hope that you can
fight one more day to see it.

Savannah, are you starting

to notice different styles of game play

having to merge with each other?

Sure. And I mean, I'll argue
you only know, what, like,

a very small fraction
of people's game play

and of people's personalities out here.

But at the same time,
like, I was not expecting

to connect with certain people

in the way that I'm connecting.
You know what I mean?

And one of the things I
learned in my season was, like,

how important it is to be
vulnerable with people.

Because I had kind
of a wall up for a while.

And I was scared to let people in

and see the real me,
because, honestly, like,

I didn't want to be rejected.

And I just wanted to be,
like, you know, accepted.

And I think I kind of had,
like, this cool-girl mentality.

And as that season went on and on,

you know, survivor just breaks you down.

And I had no choice
but to just be myself.

It's like this imposter syndrome, right?

Like, you want to be
someone who's a little bit tough,

and you want to be someone who's

sociable and likable and everything,

but it actually puts up this wall

from them getting to know the real you.

And I think that when
you're vulnerable with people,

they see part of themselves in your story.

And so, that's what I'm
doing out here in season 50.

I feel like I already kind of
am carrying on that momentum

of just being myself,

and hopefully, it's something
that people want to work with

and get to know, and
that's all I can ask for.

So, Christian, from a criteria standpoint,

who to vote out, you've
got Savannah, an unknown,

but clearly, liked by everybody.

You got a dust up with Joe.

You got ozzy saying,

"it was my fault today."
Do any of those matter,

or is it something else?

The answer is solidarity.

It's security. It's cohesiveness.

That way, the team that
we have is good to go

for whatever comes our way.

It's fundamental.

When there's more uncertainty,
the more you seek safety.
