King of the Klondike, Tony Beat, is fast running out of options.

After investing over $5 million on new gear, Tony was dealt a major blow when

his license to mine on the Indian River was denied.

But he's come out swinging.

With the 80 -pup cut just days away from being mined out, Tony is on the hunt

for a quick hit to fill the coffers.

80 -pup has not been a lot forever.

Now it's the time to check out these spots that the guy keeps an eye on for

just can't get them.

Tony pulled 2 ,000 ounces out of the megacut and believes the last section

But before he could mine it, disaster struck.

Submerged by 1 million gallons of water, the glory hole is surrounded by an 80

-foot bank on one side and a mined -out mega -cut on the other.

Too far to move the water across the cut, Tony will attempt to pump it over

80 -foot bank and into a ditch.

What I'm doing right now is digging a little bit of ditch.

We're going to pump the water out.

So, if you bump it in the ditch, say you're putting in a couple hundred feet

pipe.

This way you can just re -flow off the hill good enough.

Mike Beatt must now drag a 100 -foot heavy -duty pipe to the top of the

Parker's tasked foreman Mitch Blaschke on the airstrip.

And rookie plant boss Tyson Lee on the promised land to bring in at least 450

I just don't know if I can pull it off or not.

So far this season, we haven't found as good a ground as we hoped for.

But halfway through the season, he's barely a quarter of a way to his 2 ,000

He's taking a heavy toll on his wash plant.

He is so lean, we've just been hammered as much paint through Rocky as we can.

And because of that, I mean, the cracks are starting to show.

The crew's been doing its best to keep the thing running, keeping it attached

together, putting band -aids on it, basically.

But it's only a matter of time before it falls apart completely.

With just the skeleton crew, no mechanic.

and a wash plant in need of a brand new top deck, Rick has called in the best,

Yukon legends Freddy Dodge and Juan Ibarra to help put his season back on

I've known Rick for 10 years anyway, and we always got along really good. We've

had kind of a camaraderie.

Rick, I've helped out on multiple occasions over the years. I've got him

quite a few binds.

He's going to have to start paying better, though.

Instead, the old screen will have to be removed in small pieces, with the new

screen then welded to the existing cross members.

And those cross members are bent right to wrap.

So there's more work here than what was anticipated.

We might have been off more than we can chew in the few days we're here.

I was asking Shane to build that finger that goes out, and he

thought I meant drive right into the fine tailings.

it might have eaten another alternator.

The night shift shut Lucifer down over an hour ago due to a dead generator.

I've never used it. Okay, I'll radio Mick while I'm driving by.

To get back up and running, Tyson plans to bypass the alternator using a gas

-powered light tower and a charger to kick -start the generator battery.

With the light tower already on site, Tyson must head off in search of a

charger.

It's all the way at camp, so we're going to have an hour there and back just

driving.

The generator alternator has the bed yet again.

Wondering if you know where the charger is that we were using before with the

light tower.

The charger should be right by where the office generator is.

Mistakes have led to more wasted time, jeopardizing the 450 -ounce goal.

Washburn's Lucifer.

At Paradise Hill, Tony Beecher's glory hole

is finally drained, allowing Ruby Mahoney to load pay.

trommel.

Okay, we're going to do some really good pay out of the glory hole here right

now. So we're going to try to pump it all through the machine here as quick as

we can and get it real nice.

See, one problem after another with the trommel.

Half a mile downhill, a 900 -horsepower pump is supposed to send water

from the feeder pond up to the trommel.

This is all, this is stress time.

Now this is the pump that runs the trommel.

These are our pre -cups for the injectors.

All of them are leaking water out of here, which means that they... The

injector pre -cups have overheated and cracked, leaking coolant into the

cylinder heads, causing complete engine failure.

Primarily we use this one because it can get us to the height, because it's 300

feet plus to get up to the trommel, and you need a big, tough engine and pump to

get there.

The beats have a backup pump, but it's been sitting idle for over a year.

This is a D348. This is a backup pump for the D398.

So now we're really hoping we can get this thing pumping up the hill.

That's our biggest issue. We've got plenty of pumps, but to get them to 300

feet up the hill is the thing.

So, if this thing's down, we're down.

With the glory hole waiting, Kevin needs a quick fix.

We're going to build a little manifold that's going to spray water.

It's a bit of a bush break, but it should help us get it by.

Whatever it takes to keep on rolling.

Eric Ilioglia drills holes into pipework to create a sprayer.

Tony and Kevin then fashion an offshoot to the pump's water outlet and connect a

newly formed sprayer.

Cool creek water blasts over the radiator and engine.

Do you see the vaporizing with the fan pulling it through?

If that water doesn't keep it cool, it'll fall out slow.

That looks good.

We can finally get Susan again.

We didn't have enough time to begin with. No, we really don't.

At Duncan Creek, gold recovery expert Freddie Dodd and hot shot mechanic Juan

Ibarra are three days into the fix of Rocky, Rick's aging wash plant.

You know, this is something they should have taken on on the off season. I see

why they didn't do it, because it's a big job.

But I'm hoping that Freddie and I have enough time to be able to get this done.

There's no ease in store. That's for dang sure.

But all we can do is just keep going.

With the cutting and pre -welding completed... Come down easy.

It's time to drop in the massive punch plates.

Each section weighs in at a whopping 1 ,000 pounds.

Okay, coming down, Freddie. Stick in just the air, one of them.

Perfect. We'll start welding her out.

I'm pretty stoked to see how far they got.

With no mechanic on site, Rick has relied on crew member Chris to make

repairs to the plant.

We actually have something else we can do to this screen to make it better.

If a guy takes kickers, put them at like a 45 -degree angle, so when that

material's coming down, Stuff that's trying to get away, we'll hit those and

kick it out into the screens, right?

We're going to have to concentrate the time we have in the morning to weld

plates and then just do any finish -up welding.

We've got to get to another mine.

After four days of cutting, grinding, and welding, the new

screen deck still required vital finishing touches.

Freddie has an idea for these little diverters, and they're done for the day.

I'm going to work a little late tonight and get these bad boys in.

The new screen deck has three inside edges where no holes fit.

Gold -rich pay dirt can easily escape unwashed, so Chris will attempt Freddy's

pick by putting in 12 kickers to divert pay dirt into the center of the screen.

I'm happy to be able to help Freddy and Juan get this thing wrapped up.

Next morning, Freddy and Juan are back to finish welding the deck before
