So in general,
what you've got are

three decorative alabaster

carved interior decoration
pieces.

This is a pseudo birdbath.

These were made in miniature
form as decorative art,

and these are very
beautifully carved.

Carving in stone started
at the birth of civilization.

But really, carving in what
you've got, which is alabaster,

started in Roman times.

And it was chosen
because it's a soft stone.

Marble is much harder.

Things are symbolic.

Birds are usually
symbolic of peace.

These are doves.

1990s vintage Super Soakers

that you guys have here.

A little history
about Super Soakers.

They were invented in 1982
by Dr. Lonnie Johnson.

He was a nuclear engineer
and NASA scientist.

He invented this
in his bathroom.

And yeah, it was originally
with, like, PVC pipe.

And then I think he was even
using the bottles from, like--

Like a 2-liter bottle?

- Yeah, like a 2-liter soda
bottle and connected it to PVC,

and then figured out
that if you could

create pressure in it,

you could get
that constant flow.

These came out in, like, 1992,

kind of, like, revolutionized
the whole water gun game.

- So you've been getting
pumped since, like, '92?

- [laughs]

Lots of pumps.

- Yeah.
- [laughs]

- Well, I think we have
a good collection

of every different
model of power.

The whole power chain.

- I agree.

Yeah, you have some
newer ones here.

You have some older ones.

Yeah, back in the '90s, I mean,

was like a puzzle to me.

campaign furniture.

Civil War era
camping equipment.

So what do you mean
by "campaign"?

- When you go on campaign,

you know, like a Civil War,

you're taking
a million men camping.

a wagon train,

when you have officers that
have their own horses

and wagons for all of their
tents and equipment,

you have a lot
of campaign furniture sold.

So the fun thing
about these ones

is you see actual rugs
being used...

- To be part of the seat.

Americans were making machined
rugs even in the 1840s.

- Yeah, like on a loom
type of thing?

- Yeah.
Yeah, so in the back here,

that's a very machine-made rug.

It doesn't look too old to me.

It looks 100 years old.

It doesn't look
160 years old to me.

So it might have been replaced.

This is what gets replaced
so often

with campaign furniture, but...

- I feel really,
really underdressed

right now, to be honest.
