in its treatment program.

and given Smith the drugs,

so we could be either looking
at manslaughter or murder.

The only thing I remember
him being freaked out by

were dreams.

In his sleep,

he'd be struggling,
fighting, swearing,

and then, when he
woke up, he was so upset,

he just wanted to
jack up straightaway.

So it's important

to face up to the possibility

of a life without fear,

even though, you know,
that prospect, in itself,

may be truly frightening.

to share a fear
that's personal to you,

a fear you want to
confront and overcome.

thing I always remember

is a case I worked
on when I was a cop.

It was an addict...
An alcoholic,

like me.

We found him in
his house, alone.

He'd drunk himself to death.

He'd been there

for two weeks, in his bath.

He'd drunk so much,

his face was purple

and wrinkled,

like a prune.

Because of the water,

his skin had
started to separate,

to come away in
great handfuls, like...

Like lumps of...

fatty, waxy frogspawn.

that's my fear,

that the end of
me life will be...
