I used to have a bit of a quitting problem,

and found my true calling, my true purpose,

That's what makes this so hard.

I know everyone makes mistakes.

It's been the hard stuff lately. You good?

Why are you talking to me like I'm a rookie

who hasn't been in the field for 10 years?

But I also know the Lord uses everything for good

and gives us a few distractions along the way

to make everything feel a little brighter.

Seems you and Griffin are hanging out a lot.

There's nothing like being there for people

when they need it the most.

And to be chosen for this job is a dream come true

for anyone with a passion for helping people.

Three shifts left until you have to choose

Dad, when I was little,

you taught me that our plan for life

may not always turn out the way we hoped it would

and that everything would always work out somehow.

And then, later on, I learned to trust

that the Lord has a hand in it all.

But what no one mentioned is that

this life would test my strength

in ways I could never imagine.

I wanna believe there's a reason for this.

The Lord says there's a reason

for everything under the heavens.

I guess that reason is just hidden for now.

I know we've had our ups and downs,

but you are the strongest man I know.

And, Dad, I believe you're going to wake up soon

and hopefully I'll have an epiphany in life

to share with you by then.

But, for now, I have some challenges I need to figure out.
