probably by 30 minutes or so.

Eggs became part of Easter celebrations

as a way of symbolizing new life

and the resurrection of Jesus.

These intricately decorated pieces of art

have become more and more detailed over time,

with the distinctive use of color and symbols.

This Roadblock requires teams to go

on a Romanian Easter egg hunt,

searching this grassy field full of eggs

for one that is

exactly like these giant eggs on display.

They must then roll their egg to an "eggs-purt" --

a giant chicken-- for verification.

If they get it right the first time,

it'll be over easy and they'll get a clue.

I had to go search for the Easter egg

that matched the giant eggs.

So this is how big they are.

This is not what the giant eggs look like, I mean.

Kind of like a cross and an X, I guess,

is more what I'm looking for. But now I know

what size, and they are quite small.

TUCKER: Eric's doing some Easter egg hunting to find the egg

and deliver it to the chicken.

This is definitely a Roadblock that teams can get stuck at

for a long time,

and I'm sure hoping

I'm not one of those teams.

We have two uses of an Express Pass,

a very strong team that's holding first place right now,

and Adam and I just can't let that

get to our head. We're gonna

handle these challenges and just stay alive this leg.

KYLAND: This leg is our last opportunity to use the Express Pass,

so we're definitely gonna use it at some point.

TAYLOR: There's a lot of race left to run and we're planning

on being in it till the very end.

I'm running with the love of my life

and the best team's standing next to us too, so,

with trees and dust and pollen

and grass and leaves everywhere.

Dance Dean Aredel is a traditional Romanian folk dance

that's been around for more than 200 years.

This Detour gives teams a chance

to step up and give it a go.

When the choreographer gives them the thumbs up...

- they'll get a clue. - Hey!

The Romanian pan flute is distinguished

by its curved shape,

which shortens the distance between the pipes,

making it easier for expert players like Radu...

...to play more complicated tunes.

The varying lengths of the pipes

determine the notes that are played.

Each team member must assemble

a flatter beginner's version

of Romania's most treasured instrument

and then play a tune.

[flute playing]

When Radu says it's noteworthy,

they'll get a clue.

CHELSIE: I have one in my hand, so I'm gonna

go just get it checked just to see.

My daughter's back with her first egg,

It looks like Adam's struggling

It requires a lot of attention to detail.

kind of flute pieces.

One side of 'em was very flat.

The other side had a little, like, dip for your lip to go on.

ERIC: The fact that it's assembling a flute and learning

a quick little jingle, uh, we definitely feel like

we made the right decision.

JAS: It's right here somewhere.

It's not like we're extremely strong dancers,

It was definitely a good learning curve

to have the song sort of laid out there on a big poster.

Seeing the numbers there, what we needed to do--

um, that kind of made it

a bit easier and, you know, sort of

brought me back to, like, using the recorder

and some "Hot Cross Buns."
