bear after an 18-month long Battle of

alleged child killer Melvin fish who was

arrested and tried for the murder of

three children in Palm

Springs the jury concluded they had no

real evidence directly tying fish to the

murders the court had nothing else to

keep him in

custody just last year when police

followed up on an anonymous tip a search

warrant was issued giving law

enforcement full access to Melvin's

house the officers came across a

gruesome

Discovery there in the back of fish's

house wrapped in plastic clear bags were

the remains of three dismembered

children buried in the garden Melvin

fish claims he never lived there and

fiercely denied any involvement in the

murders the outcome of the case was not

apparent and so many questions remain

unanswered parents of the victims were

not available for comment we had a pack

release of accused child killer Melvin

fish the body of Isaac Matthews was

found late last night in his home in an

apparent suicide while undergoing

psychiatric treatment evaluation reports

indicated that 42-year-old Isaac

Matthews never wanted to appear publicly

as the father of murder victim Kevin

Matthews Isaac was deeply traumatized

and could not accept the death of of his

child held for questioning in the murder

of three children Melvin fish was later

released for lack of evidence Isaac was

home when he learned the news of fish's

release and in a sad turn of events Mr

Matthews decided to put an end to his

own

murder in this last turn of events in

the Palm Springs murder case just 24

hours after the release of alleged

murderer Melvin fish and the suicide of

Isaac Matthews who was father of one of

the victims there were two other people

Audrey Anderson and John pervis parents

of the first and second victims Lisa

Anderson and Killian pervis were both

discovered in a motel room in Palm

Springs they were found wearing paper

uniforms and just right next to Melvin

fish's dead body wore cooking knives

still wet with what appeared to be blood

claiming that they were not alone in

their bloody Crusade the police are

still searching for a third person law

enforcement is now focusing their

attention on the parents and have now

introduced the possibility of a

sectarian grw they'll have more details
