a country all the way across the world.

I was born in Japan,

so I brought in my favorite book for story time.

We just have to make 18 origami cranes if we want the wish to come true.

I thought the boy in your book made paper cranes.

Origami cranes are paper cranes.

In Japan, the special way of folding paper is called "origami."

Oh! Let's start making some!

[all agree enthusiastically]

If we want to make our wish come true,
