each class will put on a performance

It must take forever

to, gulp, gulp, gulp, drink a glass of water.

The brontosaurus has a long neck

so it can eat the leaves from tall trees.

That's why it's my favorite dinosaur.

Uh, I thought stegosaurus was your favorite.

They both are. So is triceratops.

I also really like ankylosaurus.

[chuckles] I love them all.

[triangle chimes]

Okie-dokie, my student-asauruses.

Let's take our seats so we can start Dinosaur Day.

[kids chattering excitedly]

Dino time!

Did you know dinosaurs had favorite foods?

Some dinos were called carnivores.

That means they ate meat.

Others were called herbivores.

Who can guess what they ate?

Ooh! Herbivores ate plants and fruits and veggies.

Lots of green things.

That's right, Tej.

We're so lucky

to have a dinosaur expert here in class.

[chuckles]

Now, get those crayons ready.

We're going to draw the foods

that a herbivore or carnivore would eat.
