Ethan and Damienne, you will pick one person to send to our Endgame.

None of the ladies going in.

We pick Dida, and Dida picks the three other people.

I'm sorry. That's what we're doing.

- So who are you putting in? - My boy Zach.

Every single Endgame, I keep getting thrown in.

( bleep )

- How about a little cow tongue? - Unh-uh!

If Rodney finds his match first, Dida is eliminated.

- It's a battle. - Oh!

- Oh, my gosh. - Dida is safe from elimination.

I'm not scared at all or intimidated.

Dude, I'm telling you, I'm so ( bleep ) pissed.

What's stressing you out?

I've literally been ( bleep ) over twice now.

- Twice. - We gotta win.

There's nothing we can do if we're not winning.

- I know. - It's simple and plain.

I've been pissed off all night.

Dida, he threw me into another Endgame.

Tried twice now to get me out.

Y'all giving a 20 and 21-year-old thinking that they run this game.

At the end of the day,

it's those two against everybody.

The plan was to just get the girls out.

But now I've changed my whole view of everything, who I want to go home.

I'm going to do exactly what I have to do to keep going

and that's all there is to it.

Don't you ever scare me like that again.

I almost lost my closest ally in this game

and I would have been screwed.

- You were stressing. I know. - I was stressing.

We don't want to go into any other Endgames

because that could be the end of our road.

Elimination is not where we want to be.

( music playing )

Zach, you literally do something for a living

that is actually so terrifying to me.

Like, I can't watch those coal mining movies, like, where they're trapped.

- Gives me a panic attack. - I don't think of it like that.

When you're coal mining, you don't think of

all the possibilities of what could go wrong?

No. I just think of my daughter.

First day, you know, arriving at the coal mines,

I was nervous, anxious.

Kind of felt like I could puke,

but I didn't have a choice to back out.

I had to provide for my daughter, so I had to buck up and keep going.

I want to show her when stuff gets hard,

just keep pushing and you can to achieve it.

Everybody else can go get bent.

So that's how you maintain so calm under pressure?

Because when I do think about it, then that's when I mess up.

Yeah.

so, on the jump you go, one, two,

and then step is three, and then hips is four.

And then it's like, one, two, three.

Damienne: Back home, I'm very loud, outgoing,

I'm very friendly, and people love me.

And the hips, one, two, three, four.

At this point in the game,

my strategy is to make sure I'm likable

so I know my personality in this house

is going to keep me in this house.

- Was that a shark or a whale? - Whale or a shark or a dolphin.

- A whale! - ( all shouting )

- That was so clear as day. - It was so big.

- That's a killer whale. - Those are more dangerous than great white sharks.

What if we have to swim in that, though?

( shivers )

- If I was thrown out into our view alone-- - Mm-hmm. Open water.

Open water, I would be, like, panicking.

Do you know how long you can hold your breath for?

- No. I've never had to do that. - Scary.

- Yeah. - I'm from Florida, I live in L.A.,

but I do not like the ocean.

When I was a kid, I got pulled into a rip current. I choked on water.

I don't like the thought of drowning.

That is probably one of my biggest fears.

I feel like I kind of should have practiced something

- or started to face that fear. - But you have that mindset.

I mean, you saw yourself in the first Endgame.

You would have sat in rats all night, you know what I mean?

So I feel like you could overcome anything because you have that mindset.

- Good support. Good support. - Yeah, yeah. I'm here for you.

- Thank you. That's what I need. - You'll be fine.

( music playing )

- Oh, gosh. - What is this crane?

- Ooh. - Oh, my God.

- I don't like open water. - Shut up.

- Hello! - What is this, dude?

- Oh, no. - It's so cold.

- No thanks. - Johnny, you making me sick.

- My goodness. - I need to see a therapist at this point.

- You driving me crazy. - ( Johnny laughs )

Welcome to your next challenge. We call it The Deep.

It will test your fear of open water, drowning,

- and freezing temperatures. - I have all of those.

Remember when you saw those killer whales in the water?

We're just up the road from that, but I wouldn't worry about them.

It's the sharks I would be thinking of.

- Oh, man. - ( murmuring )

You will be harnessed to this.

- Oh, my God. - ( groaning )

- Oh, my God. - Oh.

What is that?

- Oh, my God. - Damn.

- ( moans ) - Oh, my God.

What is that? Like, what is it?

Johnny: Let me tell you how this will work.

First, you will form two teams.

You will each be harnessed and placed

on that medieval steel rack one team at a time

and swung out far to sea.

When I sound the air horn, your team will be plunged

into the icy, 100-foot deep open ocean.

You will never know for how long you'll be forced to stay underwater.

Your team will be dunked again and again and again for increasing lengths of time.

If this ever becomes too much,

just pull the quick release strap on your harness

and you'll be released to swim to safety.

- Oh, man. - The team that lasts the longest

before three people quit wins

and will be safe from elimination.

They will get to choose one player from the losing team for the Endgame.

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica,

and one time we went swimming right before a hurricane.

I started getting pulled out by the current,

and if my dad hadn't been there to grab me and pull me back in,

I would have drowned.

I am not ready for this.

We did a random draw for two teams of five.

On team one, we got Lance,

Rob, Blake, Chelsea, and Jayleen.

On team two, we got Damienne,

Ethan, Dida, Danielle, and Zachary.

I look at my team and Ethan and Dida are on it,

and I just start thinking, like, this might be an opportunity.

Maybe I should just throw this

and let them be up for the Endgame.

Who's ready to go?

Team one, time to get wet.

( Johnny laughs )

Team two, you won't know how the team performs

because you will be in isolation.

I'll see you soon. Think warm thoughts.

- Hee, hee. Ooh! - Aah!

- Don't drown, y'all, please. - Love you, girl.

Everybody make sure you can take a full breath.

Deepest breath you can.

Just go to that happy place.

Deep down inside, I'm struggling.

I could be frozen to death.

A killer whale could come and snatch all five of us up.

I literally cannot handle the unpredictability.

Cue the crane! Heh, heh, heh, heh.

Oh, unh-uh!

Remember, if you don't hit 20 contractions,

you probably still got more in you.

Everybody's freaking out about this challenge,

especially Jayleen.

I've got an advantage here because I've got some experience diving.

But one time, I came up coughing blood.

Water is seriously dangerous, and you could die at any moment here if something goes wrong.

- Ready, set, go! - ( horns blaring )

We got this. Stay focused.

- ( gasping ) - This water hits me like a thousand needles.

And the air is freezing cold.

Get me the hell out of here.

Breath in. Get ready for the big one.

- Johnny: You got this. - ( bleep )

Stop, stop, stop, stop!

Oh, here we go.

( burbling )

Hang on! The team that survives being repeatedly

held underwater the longest wins.

( gasping, panting )

- That was the first dip! - ( groans )

- Holy ( bleep ). - Having fun?

- ( Johnny laughs ) - You got this, Lance. Stay calm.

- Stay calm. Everybody calm. - I'm trying. I'm trying, y'all.

I'm totally am about to get hypothermia.

( Johnny laughs )

Oh, that was a 30-second dip. It's going to get so much worse.

- No. I can't. - Hey, calm down. Slow breaths, everybody.

- It's so tough. I can't. - You got this. You got this. Slow breaths.

Johnny: This time they're under for 40 seconds.

I don't know if I can hold my breath 40 seconds.

Uh-oh.

- Rob, I can't. - Jayleen, you're good.

You're okay. You're okay.

This challenge is straight-up torture.

This is waterboarding.

And it's agonizing not knowing how long

we have to stay on this torture device.

Yeah, they have no clue how long they're staying under.

They just got to hold their breath and trust nobody quits.

This is a 60-second dunk in 40-degree water.

No one is allowed to quit! I mean, you are. But don't.

Jayleen: I'm so cold.

Can't believe how much I'm shaking.

I can't stop.

That is no walk in the park.

Hypothermia, muscle spasms, exhaustion, all setting in.

Oh, man.

( mumbling ) It's freezing. It's freeze--

Johnny: Oh.

( burbling )

Jayleen is out.

Girl, what happened?

Four people are still on the rig.

Two others quit and then their team is kaput.

( shivering ) Cold water is ( bleep ) me up.

Johnny: This one is 90 seconds.

And we got a safety diver in there in case anything goes wrong,

but I would not want to be them right now.

( moans )

- Blake is done. - Blake pulled the buoy.

- Oh, my God. - Let's try and stay calm here.

- Blake, what happened? - I took in water

and started flailing and I had to pull it.

Johnny: It's understandable. That cold water sucks.

And not knowing how long you're going to be under?

All right, guys. Hang on.

Because the clock stops when the next person quits.

Tide's coming in.

( Johnny laughs )

Oh, Lord.

Rob, Lance, Chelsea still going.

Come on, guys.

( shivering ) Cold.

( burbling )

- Aw, Chelsea quit! - I'm sorry.

That's time!

A fear was overcame for Lance today.

We really put up a great performance and hopefully it stands righteous.

Good job, guys. It's going to be a hard time to beat.

- I'm here to warm you up. - Warm yourself up first.

You did great. You killed it.

I just faced a huge fear of mine.

All right, go get warm, guys.

This, as cold as it was,

ignited a flame inside of me to push myself to limits

because I know I can do it now.

Strap in, team two. It's your turn on the rack.

- ( Johnny laughs ) - Oh, God, be with me.

- God, please. - Feel like I'm not going to be able

- to even breathe with this. - I can't get a deep breath.

Oh, my God.

Coming to "Fear Factor," drowning was my biggest fear.

I went out into the pool with my husband and he's like,

"We need to practice holding your breath

because I know you're not good at that."

I barely lasted 30 seconds.

This is not where I want to be and not what I want to do.

You got this. Ignore the freezing water.

Expect the cold.

We have to smoke this other team.

Ethan and Dida are literally running this house.

Let's get rid of them. If I just throw this,

then they could be up for the Endgame.

I always say risk it for the biscuit.

Everything's on the line right here for me.

It's going to be cold, I know that.

On ready, set, go, it begins.

- Ready, set, go. - ( horns blaring )

- Oh, my God. - It's all good. Keep breathing.

- Breathe. - ( bleep )

- Oh, my God! - You're on a ride, Damienne.

- Lord, please. Lord, please. - Deep breaths, deep breaths.

Johnny: And we're starting with 30 seconds,

but, uh, hee, hee, it only gets worse from here.

( bleep )

I already can't breathe. It is freezing.

Oh, my God! Please, this is my--

- It's all good. Keep breathing, breathe! - Oh, my God!

- You got this. - I can't do it.

- ( bleep ) - Damienne's out.

Two more people quit, this whole team will be up for elimination.

- Damn. - How hard was the plunge underwater?

- That is cold. - It looks cold.

Ooh, y'all, please hang in there. Let's go!

- Yes! - Whoo!

- That was hard. - ( bleeping )

Zach: My plan is just to hold on until three other people are left.

That'll be believable.

But I really don't know how many times

I can go under there and hold it maxed out.

Johnny: 40 seconds under.

- Oh, jeez, this is tense. - Oh, my gosh, I'm going to have an anxiety attack.

Please don't release, Danielle. Oh, my God. Let's go!

- Johnny: Yeah! - Let's go!

- ( panting ) - I'm not even gonna lie.

That was so ( bleep ) hard there.

- Oh, my God! - Really cold, actually.

- ( groaning ) - Yes!

- Damienne: Y'all got this. - What's that fin in the water?

- You see the fin? - They might need to just get bit real quick.

We gotta last.

( burbling )

- ( bleep ) - I see the bubbles.

Johnny: Dida has quit.

- Oh, my God. - Three people still on the rig.

One more person comes off, time stops.

- Let's go! - Struggling.

Zach, you got this. You're in the mines, boy. You got this.

I think this is all I'm going to have after this one.

- You got this. - I got to do it now.

I clearly told them I was going to be a tornado and stir it all up.

Please hang in there! Oh, my God.

This could stir it up so bad, no one will be safe.

Johnny: You guys have three people on the rig still.

One more person gets off, your time stops.

I think this is all I'm going to have after this one.

It's down to three, and if I tap out, then the clock stops.

Can't be a chicken now.

It's time to throw this, cause some chaos,

and now you better watch out.

Zach is done. Time has stopped.

- ( gasping ) - ( bleep )

I just had to do it.

And, yeah, at the end of the day,

I like to mess with people.

It's just who I am.

We don't actually know how well the other team did, but I'm not feeling good.

I thought we'd last a little bit longer than this at least.

All the what-ifs are hitting me,

and I don't want to go to the Endgame.

You know, what if they do put me in?

What if this is the end of my road?

All right, everybody, that was really impressive.

And for some of you, that was your greatest fear, is drowning.

- Yes, it was. - It just comes down

to which team lasted the longest.

The winning team is...

- Team one! - ( cheering )

- Yes! Oh, my God! - ( bleep )

You win the challenge and are safe from elimination.

My team won a challenge where my biggest fear was a factor.

It's a beautiful feeling.

And I have to thank Rob for pushing all of us through it.

Like, without his words of encouragement,

I'm not trying to show my cards.

I'm really working on not showing my cards here.

But, yeah, like, heh, that's what I wanted.

I want them to be scared of going home.

The winners will pick one person to send to our Endgame.

But there's a new twist.

- ( gasping ) - What?

( bleep ), dude.

That person will choose only one

other loser to compete against in a head-to-head elimination.

- Wow. - Oh, my God.

So choose wisely, because there's a 50-50 chance of going home.

- Oh, my God. - I'm so pissed right now.

Well, that's not good.

I definitely approached that challenge the wrong way,

and it could turn out bad.

It's a one-on-one challenge,

and that's a whole different twist.

This was a huge day for me.

I mean, I know it didn't end how we wanted it to,

- Mm-hmm. - ...but I honestly can't believe

that I was able to do that.

Well, you did it. And, I mean, you did a great job.

In terms of fears, one of the--

- it was actually the hardest one for me... - Like, the top one.

- Yeah. - ...and I can't believe it.

I tried as long as I could,

but in the end, it wasn't good enough.

It's not on you. It was on all five of us, though.

Yeah, but in the end, we both know it'll be on me.

So who do we have on the table? Let's lay them out.

We've got Danielle, Damienne,

Zach, Ethan, and Dida.

I think we know if we pick one of the women,

they're going to pick the other woman.

They're not going to want to go against a man.

- Truth. - Ethan and Dida.

If you were in their shoes, what would you do?

They're going to do what they feel is best-- self-preservation.

I think they would pick Damienne.

Blake is my ally, so our minds immediately kick into overdrive

about making sure that our girls Damienne and Danielle are safe.

Unfortunately, one of you

is going to be eliminated tonight,

right here, right now.

Here I am thinking I'm about to get over losing today.

Johnny shows up, and he's not letting us forget

that we're in the House of Fear.

- Johnny, you are psychotic. - ( laughing )

( music playing )

- Oh. - Unh-uh.

- Oh, my God. - No.

We see the Endgame for the first time,

and it's like two boxes and there's a straitjacket.

It looks intense, and it's a 50% chance of going home.

I'm so glad I'm not in it.

Johnny: This is your elimination challenge.

We call this one The Great Escape.

It will test your fears of tight spaces,

blindness, and immobility.

And for this challenge, you will be in these.

This elimination will be between just two people,

a head-to-head race to the finish.

Here's how it's going to work.

You will be blindfolded and put into the straitjacket.

Then you'll be locked up inside of these glass chambers.

- No! - ( groaning )

- No. - Johnny: When I say go,

you've got to do everything you can

to escape the straitjacket and the blindfold.

There is a limited supply of air in those chambers,

so the more you struggle,

the more air you're going to use.

- What? - So once you're free from the straitjacket,

then find the correct key out of the 40 keys to unlock your door.

You've got to work your way out of the chamber and hit this red button.

The first person to do this wins.

The loser, unfortunately, will be eliminated.

I am so worried right now.

Who ever wants to be put in a straitjacket?

( sighs )

So, Jayleen, Chelsea, Rob, Lance, and Blake,

you won our challenge, and you will get to pick

the person to put into the elimination.

Johnny, it's a really tough one for us,

but this person can bring up a bit of a negative attitude

or be a bit of a wild card, and that person is Zachary.

I guess it's going to be me and Damienne.

- No. - ( gasping )

At the end of the day, I want to stay, you know?

Okay, well, that's fine, and at the end of the day,

you guys have to live the decision.

and beat all these tough guys.

I mean, yeah, I do want to beat them.

It's kind of interesting that you going at Rob.

I do want to beat 'em, but, I mean, let's be honest.

I looked at Dida, I looked at Ethan,

and, I mean, I chickened out.

Like, I'm going to choose somebody that I feel like

I'm going to have an equal shot against.

It's eat or be eaten. And you know what?

- He doesn't have the straitjacket off yet. - Focus! Focus!

Zach's got a lot of keys to get through.

Remember, your air supply inside your chamber is limited.

I'm struggling for air.

- ( overlapping shouting ) - ( screaming )

- Yeah! Yes! - Zach got it.

- ( bleep ) - ( screaming, bleeping )

Johnny: Damienne actually got the lock off first,

but Zach got out first,

and he beat Damienne to the button by a fraction of a second.

At the end of the day, I'm glad I won.

It sucks that Damienne went home,

but we just met all these people.
