Alexis, the judges would like to know who is your role model?

My role model is my older sister, Tracy.

She has gotten me through so many rough times and actually let me live with her

when I was just 18 years old to let me discover myself even more.

I feel so grateful for her and wish everybody had a big sister like her.

What differentiates you from your competitors?

What makes me different from my competitors is my drive for life.

I am student body president, and I also volunteer at a few places, mainly the

animal shelter.

And I do a few different sports.

Can you gesture with your shoulder like that a little bit?

You get this glitter effect across the bodice of the dress. It's absolutely

gorgeous. So if you can do that naturally, do it. Okay?

What will you do if you win the crown?

I think it's important to remember that it isn't just a crown, but a title. And

as soon as we walk on stage, we become role models to everybody watching us.

As an out and proud lesbian, I vow to advocate for LGBTQ plus rights and

stand with you in every way.

I want you to know it's okay to be yourself.

And you will always have me by your side, standing tall with you.

That's my promise.
