We find it and we take the map back.

This thing is a toxic cocktail of chemicals and weird organics,

Merlinda, Sasha and Nerissa are now officially enrolled as exchange students.

How's the repair coming on our communication bracelets?

[clears throat] Uh…

Getting back to it, right now.

[Merlinda] Everywhere you looked, there were terrible monsters

sent by the pirate, Barbarossa.

They overwhelmed the city.

- [screaming] - [monster roaring]

[Merlinda] My mom and dad,

they fought back,

and with our elite guard they defeated the attackers.

[groaning]

But my dad was hurt.

[groaning]

[crying]

And news came from General Orca.

Something was wrong with the portal.

It wouldn't close

and a second wave of Barbarossa's monsters was on the way.

[groaning]

My mom knew what she had to do to buy my father time

to get the portal closed.

She had to go out and protect us all.

And so, with the general and a few of our elite guard, she did.

[baby Merlinda crying]

I'm so sorry, Merlinda.

We know what it's like to grow up without a mom too.

Huh?

Ours died when we were young.

That symbol, it looks so familiar.

It's the symbol of Mertropia.

My mother gave this to me the night she disappeared.

[bell rings]
